Precision Cycle restored my 1973 custom built Kawasaki motocross racer after it sat unused for over 40 years. My dad and I traveled all around Florida with that bike and I could not bear to junk it. They miraculously got it running as well as when I raced it and then found a collector that wanted it and would continue to get use and joy from it. I cant begin to tell you how happy Ron and and his crew made me with this outcome.
I’ve had work done on my motorcycle here twice by Brian. The first time it was my fork seals that blew. This time, I needed a new battery and an oil change. Brian does an excellent job and looks out for you and your bike. He’s my go to person now. The prices are great! The cafe next door has really good food. It’s a nice place to go hangout while waiting for your bike to get finished. They always have parts in stock too. That is really nice. They are always available and never too busy or overbooked to help you. All of these things are super convenient for me as my motorcycle is my only transportation. I highly recommend!
Ron and the guys are fantastic. I brought my bike in unannounced and Ron took it right in. He told me it would be a while as they were backed up. My bike sat for nearly 2 years without even being fired up. 2 weeks later my vintage bike runs like a dream. I couldnt be happier! 6 stars if I could!
Best place to get your bike parts. Waited for me to get there after closing time. You will get all my business for any parts I buy
Brought in my 18 Burgman 650 Exec. with a broken spark plug. Ron told me hed do his best with it. He DEFINITELY earned a customer for life and ANYONE else that will take my advice in visiting Precision Cycle.
High quality service and affordable price. After 3 years off, my bike is running smooth! Thanks to the Precision Cycle team!
I couldnt be happier with the crew here. Reasonably priced and laid back atmosphere. Stop by next door and grab a beer and a burger while you wait
Precision, in fact, does carry the newer Amsoil transmission and primary oil and 20-50 engine oil for HDs. This was the reason for my first visit to this shop as recommend by a friend. Knowledgeable employees, shop carries some riding gear, helmets, motorcycle accessories and offer motorcycle repair services. Always nice to find a independent motorcycle repair shop. They provide the consumer affordable alternatives while also an opportunity for supporting local businesses. Worth your visit. Ill be back!!
Awesome group of guys... Someone hit my bike while it was parked and bent the shifter all up.. Its an old rat bike so the mechanic straightened out the bent shifter and foot plate by hand rather than order expensive replacement parts. Total cost was next to nothing. Honest crew that knows their bikes.
Ron was awesome took care of my problem with the bike while I had a beer and sandwich in the adjacent restaurant next door great service
Outstanding and prompt service. In and out for an oil change. Will be my regular shop for services
After several decades, I have just begun riding again. This week was my first experience with precision cycle, and it was a terrific experience. Ron, the owner, is friendly and willing to share his experiences and thoughts and advice rather than just trying to sell you something. Also, helmet and gear prices are very reasonable .... Meaning very good...and the service is excellent. Highly recommend that you check them out no matter what kind of bike you ride!
Probably the best business establishment Ive been to in decades. Not only does Ron have great people and mechanics on his team, he treats his customers like family! I had trouble with the cold start-ups on the V-star 1100 I just purchased and asked a few people who they would recommend to look at it. Every one of them responded with Precision Cycle! I took the bike to them & they suggested rebuild kits should be all it needs. Turned out that parts and labor were far lower than I expected. The next day I hopped on for a ride and it still ran a bit rough until it warmed up, which bummed me out. The following day, Ron called me to ask how the bike was running (who does that these days?). After sharing the issue, he insisted that I bring it back for another look. I dropped it off a few days later and it did not take them long to figure out that the motorhead who owned it before me put the jets in the wrong way when he messed with them!! Ron explained it was not noticed the first time as the rebuild kits typically do not involve tearing them down to the jets. He then added that he felt bad that it wasnt caught in the beginning and, theres no charge for the second trip (again, who does that?)!! Now she fires up with one push of the button and purrs like a tiger. I couldnt be more satisfied to have found the deal on this bike and Precision Cycle to keep me rolling! To add icing on the cake, the wife and I returned a week later to shop for helmets and got better prices than I could find online. I highly recommend Ron and his team for anything related to motorcycles, ATVs & more.
If youre anywhere in the area, this place is def worth a stop! Really good dude running this shop
Amazing place with awesome service. My wife and I moved here from Ohio and our movers transported our Victory Cross Country Tour, but bent the kick stand in the process. I ordered a new one and tried to find a place to switch it out. I called several bike shops and they couldnt do it or couldnt do it quickly. One referred me to Precision, I spoke to them and they said to bring it in and they would do it while I waited. I went today and it only took about 30 minutes or so. I got in and out for $40 or so. I truly recommend for any motorcycle needs. Thank you Precision, I will be a customer in the future.
You can find better customer service elsewhere. If you dont believe me call and you can have a rude experience of your own. May the force be with you precision cycle, i will not.
Great local simple eatery. What they serve they prepare well. Not ostentatious. Just go there and enjoy. Motorcycle optional.
Always wonderful! Best hot Ducati
Another shop did not do the work correctly. Friends recommended Precision. They did an amazing job, its like I have a whole new bike. Ron called the other shop and they refunded me for the work that had to be corrected. Ron even called me a few days later to make sure I was happy with the work. They have a new customer that will highly recommend them in the future.
Ron and the guys are great to work with. They are professional, friendly and really know bikes. And you can get a cold beer and burger while youre there.
Saved money on 2 tires for my harley very happy with the service
Best Bike Shop Around, Friendly And Very Knowledgeable About Everything You Need
They had the helmet style I was looking for and at a good price.
No other way to say it but Ron and his guys are the best in Tampa Bay! They treat uour bike as if it were their own.
They did a full fairings kit on my Hayabusa. Just very impressed and satisfied. Took me in the next day and was done the day after. Great people...definitely was worth the reasonable amount of money I spent. I will be back for more work.
Cant say enough good things about these guys top notch service.thanks for the great price on my tire Ron
I needed a new rear tire for bike. They had it in stock and at good price. I was planning to buy a new chain and sprockets and do that myself, but I got a quote and the price was very reasonable so I decided to just let them do it.After I dropped the bike off there was a miscommunication about the price of the chain, but they made it right and honored the original quote!Just got home from the test ride and I couldn’t be happier. They did a great job, great price, and quick turnaround!!! Will definitely be using them whenever possible for future motorcycle needs.
Best mechanics, they are friendly, honest, and fair.My bike is 33 years old, needed a lot of work, had not been run for years. They put the old gal together, and she runs like a new bike, and the price was amazing.I go there pretty regularly, because I love the food at their restaurant which is in the same building.
Great service! Fair prices!
As always they did a great job and were a pleasure to work with.
Very good service. Knowledgeable staff members.
Awesome experience with the service at precision Cycle, thanks guys you rock.
Thanks for the excellent service!
Great bunch of people who are excellent mechanics
Saw me right away! I could tell they were very knowledgeable from the get go. Didn’t even have to unload my bike from their hitch carrier. I didn’t feel like I was getting ripped off. Integrity matters! Great job!
Good people reasonable prices
Excellent service, cool crew.
Called for a part. They were nice.
I rarely do reviews, but after dealing with Ron, and precision cycles I felt I must...after relocating from Brooklyn, my 2007 Vulcan Nomad 1600, had been laying for awhile. Ron was recommended by three different people, and now I know why...Ron and his son not only picked up my bike earlier than expected, but the worked was completed within days...not only was job done correctly, I always felt like Ron was looking for ways to save me money...I can’t say enough about him, his shop and crew...just a bunch of nice people...thanx bro...you have a customer for life...
Ron and his team are the best!
Ron and his staff are awesome! always great service at a reasonable price. We have never had to bring our bikes back after just getting serviced..they do it right the first time!
Fun place to be
Ive owned a lot of motorcycles nobody treat you like Ron in the guys they are the best I just bought a bike from Ron beautiful no problems 1 out of 10 its a 10 thank you Ron I would recommend Precision Cycle Ron at anybody
HIGHSIDE CAFE! Home style food, great taste and price. Have a great meal while youre getting your motorcycle work done, or not. The owner, Ron, is always available to help with your motorcycle repairs. The best place going!!
Showed up 15 mins before close on a Friday night so my son could ride Saturday and these guys worked to resolve our tire situation way past close time. Definetly recommend!
Awesome shop great service!
Great people,
These guys are fantastic! I dropped off forks to have completed and they were done next day. Even though they were busy the guys still knocked this out for me!Huge thank you! Wouldnt go anywhere else.💯
Precision Cycle did a wonderful repair/upgrade on my 1981 BMW R65.You can be confident that Ron and the professional friendly staff willbe able to repair and service any make / year motorcycle..Ken J —- a grateful BMW rider.
I recommend this place. Fast and efficient
Nice guys nice a deal with.
Fixed my bike that two other local shops couldnt. Great service! Highly recommended.
THE BEST repair shop around period. HONEST and has INTEGRITY qualities lost by many of the other competitors that have ripped me off or sold me previously stolen bikes. ive dealt with Precision for over 20 years and will continue to do so.
Timely .. precise...and best interest in customer
I have brought my bike in 5 times, twice for tires, oil etc and three times for minor issues ( headlamps and lube and adjust) Every time has been excellent. They are always accommodating, knowledgeable, efficient, fast and reasonably priced. I recommend Precision Cycle to all of my biker friends.
5 stars and I will explain why, my 2006 R1 ate a valve on my way to work and after another shop being unable to fit me in, these guys had no problem recieving my bike with little to no notice, they were upfront about the damage and did not under/over sell me. They asked me to find a replacement motor which was great because I got to do my own research and pricing myself. They swapped the motor out the day after I delivered the motor, and I picked up my bike and old motor, my bike was cleaned up spotless, motor was very clean too! She rides absolutely beautifully and they even connected my licence plate light which I forgot to ask for! I needed them in a pinch and they came thru above and beyond my expectations!Guys, thank you so much for getting me back on the road so fast!
Very satisfied with this business customer service
Great shop. fast, reasonable and Brian is a top shelf mechanic, always goes the extra mile. As a baby boomer, I love that they are an old fashioned shop and not a niche boutique shop. They just get it done right and get you on your way.
The guys at Precision Cycle are knowledgeable and honest. Their prices are affordable and usually lower than what the dealership would charge for the same job. From what Ive seen, they work on a multitude of motorcycles, scooters, and trikes. This is the place where I get my routine maintenance done, and I highly recommend it.
Great food, great place to meet friends and relax. Great service
Professional shop. Ron and crew will take of anything you need done.
Very happy with this place. Had some issues with my bike. They figured it out and fixed it. Good place, good people, good service. I will be making this my go to shop when I need work done in the future. It was highly recommended by a few people that I trust, I am very happy with them.
Thanks for looking at my R1 sirs. They are precise indeed. And yes my chain lube choice was the problem
If your not made of money dont let them have there way with your bike. Dropped off my bike and picked it back up with them saying its good to go. A couple minutes down the road bike had same issue, took it back thinking they wouldnt charge much more since the original problem wasnt fixed and they ended up charging $400 more to tell me my bike could last 10 miles to 10000 miles and i needed a new engine. I wont be coming back or referring them. In reality i got a new tire, back brake pads and 4 spark plugs for over $700. I feel like i got ripped off. Good burgers and cheap beer next door though.
A long time ago this place was Great! and the owner was Awesome! I recommend a bunch of people to have their bikes worked on and or even service there, even as of 2 weeks ago, I sent someone there. I personally went their for some advice and possible service done. I waited over an hour for the owner to free himself up to look at what I needed done. When he finally got free to look at what needed to be done. He grabbed his tools and when I asked how much it would be, to do the work on a Motorcycle trailer the owner Ron went off the handle and started yelling on how dare I ask him how much, and that he would be the cheapest around and good luck and walked away from me, leaving me standing in the parking lot. Time to find a new Bike Shop! Definitely not this place. Staff and Mechanics are an awesome bunch, not sure what happened to the owner, but I wont deal with this shop ever again!
Great people and great prices
Just want to give a shout out to precision cycle they did an amazing job on my bike on a saturday for a job they wouldnt normally do kn weekends they still did for me at a reasonable price and then called me almost a week later to check and see how it was holding up wont take my bike anywhere else but here there the best around
They are fair priced and have a way of doing things
Great people. Always helpful. Really good prices
Friendly staff. As far as the repair shop goes..top notch. Great work for a fair price.Thank you
Happy to do business at Precision. Had a tire changed on my scooter, tire and a valve stem that needed replaced. Nice folks, great service, and a cafe (the High Side) that had the coffee I needed to jump start my brain for the day. I would recommend them and will visit them again if I need to.
I wont take my bike to anyone but them. Have always gotten me back on the road fast. Ive used them for tires, sprockets, chains, fluid changes, brake pads and equipment.
Great bike shop, it is like the old neighborhood shop I thought had vanished. Everyone from the owner to all the mechanics & personnel were knowledgeable, friendly & courteous. Ron called me the 1st day after I had picked up my bike to make sure everything was working okay. They made sure that I was satisfied & went above and beyond with my bike. Needless to say this is where Ill be taking my ride for tires & maintenance from now on!P.S. Nice little cafe attached to the shop, great food & service there too!Open 11am - 4pm lots of regulars:)
Job was well done; in and out in a day, and fairly priced.
Friendly and reasonable
Just WOW!I had the team work on my Yamaha carburated Vstar because of a difficult starting problem when cold, and I cannot say enough about how good of a job they did. This bike runs like new again! It starts by merely breathing on the button, and has more power than ever! The price was more than fair for the terrific job they did. Ron, Steve and the crew are absolutely the best! Thanks, Guys!
Fantastic! Love it I will recomend to all!! I had a broken bulb headlight. The man came out took out the headlight and replaced with new. It works wonderful and the price was well below what I would have paid anywhere else!!Nice clean place and very nice inside and staff was very accommodating!!!
I was having some clutch issues and I’m not from around here... I dealt with Ron. Very welcoming... had me fixed for the best before I could eat lunch! Thanks guys!!
Classic place for motorcycle parts service and talk.
These guys are great and I buy bikes all the time and have no idea how to work on them. Im a bike nut with no mechanical skills. They make you feel welcome, explain simply how they are fixing your motorcycle and are very fair. This is where to go if you need your bike repaired or serviced!Matt from SarasotaA year later and still are the best bike shop in town. They always help you and treat you with respect. They are up to date on the latest and greatest but still know how to work on the classics. You cant go wrong with these guys. Matt
These guys are by far the best shop in town. They have trustworthy mechanics that diagnose and resolve problems fast with the best prices. Everytime Ive had an emergent problem they have always helped me, even when Ive shown up right before they close. I wont take my bike to another shop, I only trust precision cycle to work on it. They also have a nice area to hang out and have a few beers and some lunch while waiting
Ron and the guys at Precision are awesome. They are no bs real riders and know what they are doing. Fair prices and honesty is what you get.
Awesome food, best Ive ever had/*burger sliders/tator tots*. Cheep beer, & most important, honest, trustworthy, educated guys that get the job done right the first time for less than an arm & a leg. First come first serve, hell yeah✌
Found safety jacket I wanted 😁🐺
Best motorcycle mechanics around! Best place to get you tires too! Precision Cycles sells more motorcycle tires than anyone around! Nice people, great place. You can even have a been while you wait at the Hight Side Cafe that adjoins the shop!
Ron and Steve really know bikes and can fix almost anything. Theres a cool cafe right next door to grab lunch while they work on your bike. Definatley give them a shot.
Everything time I have come to this place Feels like I’m not getting robbed the jobs are always done correct Great prices good honest people all around, been coming here since 2007, Thank you
I have taken my Honda Shadow Spirit 750 to them on three occasions. They did a great job. They will mount a tire free if you buy it from them. The other dealer down the street charges for that service. I have had a flat before and they stopped everything and fixed it for me. All service is first come first serve. So get there early. Also, they have a small cafe attached to the building, so you can sit and have a burger and beer, watch a big screen TV and chat to a fellow biker. Very cool.
Ron and the guys are awesome. Fixed my carburetor issue and had me back on the road in a couple of hours. Great guys!
