Drove an hour to get there in heavy Saturday traffic. I walked in the door and after a minute or two someone named MJ came up and introduced herself to me. I told her what I was looking for, explained that I already had a large wool rug in the main living area and was looking for additional area rugs that would coordinate with it in order to help my German Shepherd, who has a spinal injury, to be able to navigate safely through our house. I pulled out my phone to show her a picture of my current wool carpet. She was paged to take a phone call. I stood there waiting but she did not come back. I saw talking on the phone for a few minutes and then sitting at the desk on the computer And after 5-10 minutes she got up and left the desk area. I stood there for a while and several other salespeople looked at me but no one came to assist me. I walked up to the desk to explain that MJ was helping me and left to take a phone call and did not come back. They paged MJ overhead and then someone finally called her on her cell phone to return to assist me. She finally returns and immediately says I have two or three other people Im taking care of right now. Keep in mind she was the one who approached me to offer her assistance when I walked in the store. It was not just what she said but the tone of voice that she used when she said it to me. I was shocked by her attitude and made to feel like I was an intrusion in her day. I was truly mortified and embarrassed at being spoken to that way. Maybe I wasnt going to spend enough money to be worthy of assistance since I only need seven 4x6 or 5x7 rugs, a runner and two entryway rugs. I dont think Ive ever been treated so rudely by a salesperson before in my life. Very unfortunate as this business was recommended to me by neighbors in Esplanade at Artisan Lakes. I wont waste another hour drive back there.

We worked with Hillary to design a custom rug with a musical theme. It came out beautiful! Time was a little delayed but that was COVID’s fault not Rugs as Art. We love it and plan on doing more custom designs with them

So disappointed I have been looking for an area rug for the last seven months. Can not find one thing I liked. Driving down 41 yesterday I saw your store and went in. Right as I walked in were beautiful pieces of home decorStarted looking around and found 5 rugs that I really was interested in. I overheard two different salesperson telling other customers about being able to take the rug home to see if it will be a match. I continued walking around for approx. 40 minutes and not one person said hello or asked if I needed help. I know people who came in after me were helped some as soon as they came in the door.I know they saw me I saw them?Left without any information or any rug, will not return.Did not want to give any stars but the post button was grayed out until I hit 1 start than I could post. :(

The rugs are beautiful and although I absolutely hate shopping for carpets/rugs, Leslie Mazer was helpful without being overbearing and she was knowledgeable about all that the store had to offer. She certainly took the pain out of shopping for me!

I was thrilled to discover that I could choose the pattern and colors of a custom-made rug for a very reasonable cost. I had one made for the lobby of my college dorm. It has arrived there...but I havent seen it yet. Cant wait to see it, all color-coordinated with the furnishings and the wall color.

There is one saleslady who is not so nice but when I mentioned the problem to the manager I was taken care of swiftly and with apologies. Really cant beat getting your rugs here as you can check them out, bring them home to see if they work and then return them if they dont. WONDERFUL!

Love this Store! Price points for both sides. Moderate spender to very high. Great quality on both sides of the coin (no pun intended). You can also borrow to see if this works for your room/space before purchasing. Love some of the accessories and art also. Loved this rug BUT I opted for a larger size for this space (9x12) which they didnt make. I also love they will do custom things like take the fringe off if you have a robot vac (that would be a hassle for clean up time). Although I love the fringe so tucking each time might be worth it to me.

Had several Persian carpets cleaned. Some silk. Most thousands of dollars. Before pictures, some taken in store. Carpets were in perfect condition, beautiful colors and light fringe. After cleaning, all carpets were discolored and fringe a muddy, spotty brown. Guy answering phones was rude and no follow through. Emailed and called owner and to date, no response. Watch out. They do not care or back up mistakes. And owner is invisible. And also do not sign the paper when you drop off- you release them from any mistakes or liability. We learned a very hard expensive way. Hoping to help others. Our carpets were treasures, pieces of art and we are just sick for the loss and lack of care or compassion from the owner.Update: What you mention below is not true. These were expensive Persian rugs and some were not ever even on a floor. They are art. Many were silk. And to date, the owner has not returned my email or phone call. I am not here to argue to but inform others so they have the information in advance and can make their own decision.

They actually let us take home 2-4 rugs to try in our home for a few days! That makes a HUGE difference being able to see the actual size, pattern and feel of a rug in different spaces in your own home. Plus with a mom at home with 2 small children, it was a much more efficient and relaxed experience for everyone. Everyone in the store was super helpful and carried everything to and from the car as well.

Never ever have been to a store like this. The customer service is beyond compare.Rugs are all sizes and shapes. From oriental to contemporary. With all price ranges.Plan on at least 2 hours to browse and then understand what all is offered.

We have bought several rugs from Rugs as Art. We will go back for more, the staff is wonderful, the selection and knowledge of what they have makes things so easy. Being able to try things out at home really makes it so much easier to have a rug be a major feature of your decor instead of something that matches. The quality of their rugs is very high, but it seems the prices are reasonable when you look at so many other places, and see their lack of quality. I have several vintage Persian rugs that they have cleaned for us, and they seem newer every time.

This store has some really beautiful carpets, and the gentleman I met was extremely knowledgeable about the origins and methods of manufacturer of his wares. I brought a small prayer rug in for cleaning, and he was able to tell me about its origin and details about the pattern too. Their prices for cleaning are very reasonable, and they do a beautiful job.

I went to Rugs as Art on the 13th of this month, I live in Miami, and I was told this establishment was the premier rug store (the Cadillac of rugs if you will). So I decided to make the hike from the East Coast in search of the finest Legrand rugs money can buy, because I had heard that this business has a great selection and great customer service. When I arrived from my near 4 hour journey it was around closing time, so I was browsing the selection, and was ready to purchase my rug, but I had very little time left before the store closed and was informed that I would have to make my purchase the next day. As I had come from Miami, I could not do that, I asked the staff for hotel accommodation compensation and they declined as it is not our problem, so I politely asked if they would at least cover my fee for the Uber I took for this trip. Once again they had stated that it was not their prerogative to come out of pocket in that way for a new client. Long story short, I stayed with a friend in town and came back the next day with my cash still in hand to purchase said rug, all was well, UNTIL, my Uber had arrived to take me back and informed me that the rug would not fit inside of the vehicle. Given the pickle I was placed into I went back in to return the rug and was told that it could not be done. Now a broken woman I was forced to take my new rug onto the MCAT bus (doubled as a warm blanket during the chilly ride) and make the trip home. The rug looks great in my home and I could not have asked for a better product, but given the circumstances of the difficult purchase fiasco I doubt I will be back.

I liked that Rugs As Art had so many sample carpets to choice from. The salesman was very nice in explaining the store layout then let me wonder through at my own pace. They were available to put a sample rug on the floor for me to look at...to also putting the rug in my car to take home. I especially liked that after I chose 2 area rugs, they delivered them to my home within a week and let me decide if it was the one for us. All this was at no charge. You can’t beat this service.
