Furniture is nice but….We we’re greeted right away (can’t remember the name but it was an older man). He allowed us to look around by ourselves which I liked but when I had a quick question he tells me “let me get this other sales person to help these people and I’ll be right with you.” Again, fine….until my husband and I stood there for several minutes while the other salesperson AND the older guy salesperson BOTH are helping another couple. So we left. Apparently our business wasn’t as important as the couple both sales people felt compelled to assist. RUDE….will not be giving my money to RTGP.

I just moved to Sarasota from NJ and was looking for outdoor patio furniture. I had no prior knowledge of RTG and was surprised by the quality of the furniture and accessories. I worked with Chele whom was so professional, friendly & knowledgeable. I was so impressed with her!! I purchased a sofa, chairs, rugs and umbrellas. The first delivery arrived yesterday. The delivery crew was amazing. Efficient, on-time, friendly, hard-working and made sure I was 100% happy. It was the best experience. I give Chele and the delivery crew a 5 star rating. After looking at several websites for a patio table & chairs we visited the Rooms to Go Patio Store in Sarasota FL.We were greeted by Melissa Wilson, and we discussed with her what we were looking for & the space we had to work with.We purchased a beautiful set that will go perfect on our lanai.The store had beautiful selections & the prices were affordable & quick delivery options.Couldn’t be happier.

Nice store with really nice sales staff. I am not an expert but the prices seemed a little high and the quality was mid range. Nevertheless, it is a nice store with a lot of choices.

Over the last year, I have furnished my entire house with new furniture. Everytime I visited the Sarasota Store, I well taken care of by Millard, the saleperson at that store. The last time I was there and had a great experience with him was in Oct of 2020. I called him this morning, 5/30/21 and let him know who I was (thinking he would not remember me) and to my surprise he did remember me. We went the to store today to purchase a new bedroom set. Millard is always so knowledgeable on the styles, prices, pieces, etc. Well like any other time I was there, I wound up purchasing not only a new bedroom set, but 2 new end tables for my living room set and 2 lamps. Mind you, i had purchased 2 new end tables for my living room back in Oct along with many other items. He is nothing but professional, has great customer service skills and I recommend him to everyone I know when they ask who I deal with at the store. A good man, dont let him go. He is awesome. I am sure I will be there sometime during the end of this year to purchase some cabinets for my home office. Our hats off to Millard!! Then man deserves a raise!!

Great service from the moment we entered the store to when we bought the furniture. This was a no pressure environment filled with information and helpful perspective. Would return again to buy more in the future.Update: They over promise and under deliver! We ordered our furniture from the store manager. She told us everything was available at the time we placed the order. When the pieces finally came, it was incomplete. We were never told about it ahead of time. 5 months later, we are still waiting for our missing set. So disappointed with their customer service.

I thought this store was great UNTIL delivery. The fellow was rude, treated my home with disrespect AND would not place my table in place. It was too heavy to move and my neighbors moved it for me. It was $800 and being a senior citizen the treatment was awful and the manager will NOT return my call. I want my delivery fee reimbursed for failure to be a no-hassle delivery and would not set up and balance the table. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERCVICE. BUYER BEWARE - Next I will be reporting with BBB.

We had the best experience with Rooms to Go today and I am super grateful for the kindness and professionalism we received from Keith and Chele! I highly suggest going to visit them if you need anything for your outside lanai or patio. We lucked out today and were able to walk out of the store with patio furniture (currently sitting in it now as I write this review) and secure a delivery for our additional furniture and fire pit for later this week! We wouldn’t have been able to do that without their help and most importantly, patience, as the Italian in me had to ask every possible question on colors, availability and price! We are looking forward to receiving delivery later this week, and just an FYI for those purchasing anything from RTG, the delivery service is completely separate from the folks at the store, so you won’t be disappointed when you visit and shop! Thank you again to Keith and Chele, as well as Al and the other RTG staff, we truly enjoyed our several hours with you this afternoon and will be back if we need anything else! Absolutely the worst customer service, I had a reselection that this location took the sale on and didnt notify anyone in the Fort Myers location. Long story short they came and replaced our frame broke, seat cushion ripped one year old furniture with new and didnt collect the old set so we set the old furniture out on the curb. Three months later sent us a bill for $3500.00 because the Fort Myers center didnt get the old set back that nobody ever called, emailed, texted, communicated in any way they needed it back. Was I supposed to store it in my yard for three months in case someone ever inquired about it? They helped my wife move it off the lanai! Manager doesnt return calls, Regional manager called back one time with a blocked number and left a message saying he would call again but didnt. Nobody wants to take responsibility in the fact that someone didnt do their job and now I have to pay for that? Corporate customer service manager Kathy Zielinski told me it doesnt get any higher than me and that no one will help me! Great leadership and customer service rooms to go!

This my initial email to Carls patio outlining the problems I had, do you really want to deal with a company that treats customers like this? They are refusing to replace my stained cushions.DearPlease find attached photographs of just a few of the damaged and heavily stained cushions you delivered, every single cushion is marked in some way. I cannot believe Carls patio would dispatch and deliver this garbage without noticing they were heavy stained and damaged, then expect a customer to except it.There are clear signs of a repair to one of the sofa frames and the lamp is also damaged. Your customer service is appalling, you clearly misled me when you rang on delivery day and said the driver noticed frame damage the damage was noted on the printed delivery documents so you were clearly aware before you dispatched the frame.To add further insult both the shade and lamp have signs of damage. I was given absolute assurances from both yourself and your colleague in the showroom at the time of purchase that the everything including the cushions would be “BRAND NEW” that is what I paid for, I have been lied to from the get go and feel incredibly angry that you would treat a customer who has just paid $8000 dollars for brand new furniture in this appalling way.I made it crystal clear I was not prepared to accept anything other than brand new furniture, that is why I refused to purchase the same furniture in your outlet shop for half the price, as it happens that furniture was better than the junk you delivered today.What I really find incredible is that at some point during this process someone within your organization has picked, wrapped and prepared this junk for dispatch and thought it was completely acceptable and good enough for a customer who has just spent $8000? this is bordering on dishonesty passing off used and damaged product as brand new, this is clearly not new furniture. As well as the cushions and lamp I would like both frames replacing as I believe neither are new.As we discussed earlier I would like one of your senior manager to call me and explain how this happened, I would also like to know how you intend to replace the damaged lamp and when. No option to return what we have for another model of equal value...we need to wait til May for this product which NEVER worked to be replaced. AGAIN...do NOT waste your money here. If I could give them a zero star rating I would. ..ORIGINAL POST: Posting this on every possible site I can..I strongly (more than strongly) discourage you from.purchasing any Rooms to Go products. We purchased nearly $ 10,000 of patio furniture including a sectional, outdoor recliner, firepit, console and pub dining table from Rooms To GO in mid November. They had backorder multiple products so we received in Mid December. They screwed up the delivery of the recliner so we had to wait an additional 4 weeks for that.The reason I strongly recommend against purchasing from them however is their lack of customer service when products are defective. While we have had problems with outdoor patio table. The $1300 firepit will not stay on. It is a propane fueled appliance and while it lights there is some problem with the valve that doesnt keep propane flowing unless the switch is depressed. We have called 4 times, had a technician out to the house who did nothing more than tell us without a canister of propane she couldnt confirm what we reported. When we said we would drive to get a full canister she told us she had a full day and could not be delayed. She came with no parts, no tools and her sole job for this service call was to take pictures and upload to corporate. We immediately called corporate and their response was to wait a week as they have a 3 day turnaround for technician. reports. After said week we called back only to learn that there is still no resolution coming. We have now had this dysfunctional firepit for 2 o use it and the company refuses to deal with us. Delays, stalling and more delays are their tactics. By the time this is resolved it will be too hot outside to need a fire pit. Please heed this warning and dont waste your money... head across 41 to Outdoor furniture where the sales staff are pleasant and the service is great! Lesson learned always buy local!

Beautiful outdoor furniture and decor laid out in an easy to look at format.

I regretably have to write this 1-star review. But I would like to share my unfortunate experience so that others wont fall for the same sleezy sales trick. Please make sure you have everything in written if they promise you free items or services that are not typically included in their furniture or protection plan. I simply trusted their words and paid for the price. It is commonly known that furniture protection plan is a high profit margin business. Of course, they would try anything to sell their plans. But be aware of some unprofessional sales people such as ours Kevin.

We purchased a very expensive and complete set from RTG patio. We have had the set less than 90 days and the quality is horrible. The teak is faded even with the expensive protectant - the sunbrella cushions easily stain and this is supposed to be sunbrella (easy clean and remove dirt we have had this before and it cleans up like a charm) but this never comes clean and it’s just dust as we barely use the set. We paid well over 4K and I doubt it will last a year. Don’t buy their product. It’s a Cindy Crawford line.

New to Sarasota I walked in to the wrong store and ended up meeting Kevin who was so nice and very helpful! I bought two beautiful chaise lounges, an umbrella and a base! I’m so happy it worked out this way! The store has a great selection but Kevin was the reason I purchased from you! He’s great!

What a wonderful experience it was working with Tracy. My husband and I shopped for outdoor furniture for weeks. We pretty much made our decision but I can honestly say we were not overjoyed with our choice. We settled. Then we walked into Carls Patio. Tracy is a true professional. She is extremely knowledgeable without being overbearing. Carls merchandising allowed for a great shopping experience and we found the perfect furniture for our lanai. We love, love, love the quality and style. I also want you to know that there customer service is second to none. The table has a pop up leaf for when we have a bigger group. The set is just gorgeous and we have had so many compliments on it. Tracey Brandt, the manager, helped us find some co-ordinating soft comfy chairs and a small table. She has a flair for knowing what furniture and colors look great together and pulling together a beautiful look!!! She was very helpful and we enjoyed working with her. We shopped at virtually every outdoor furniture store from Tampa to Sarasota and found a few that were very accommodating. None, however, was a match for Tracy at Carls Patio in Sarasota. They had by far the best selection. Not only that, Tracy spent a considerable amount of time with us looking at and suggesting various out of the box options. The furniture was delivered right on schedule and the delivery was, indeed, white glove. We love the final effect and will absolutely return there should we need anything more.

We went to one patio place and had awful service then since Carls wasnt far from that place we decided to check it out. The store is great with a relaxed vibe. Everyone was more than helpful checking stock on hand and in the back room to help us find a patio umbrella. We purchased an umbrella and then even enjoyed a glass of wine before we left the store. We would definitely go back to shop here. The manager and the whole team was great. We received the delivery and have enjoyed an umbrella and the experience of working with Carls.

We bought very expensive outdoor teak furniture. Within 6 months weve had webbing come unglued and wood cracking. Rooms To Go Patio has refused to repair the damage, so were stuck with very expensive busted furniture. I can only imagine what it will look like in the future. I feel like weve been completely ripped off with no recourse.

Hank and I looked at several other retailers before we happened upon Carl’s Patio. We wanted an upscale classy look…that gave us options for our unique personality! Together with the Carl’s Patio staff, we came up with a unique look and custom pillows! We love the final result. Plus, the delivery service was excellent and they met all of our deadlines.

Solana Outdoor Chaise Terrible. While the store itself has a wide selection of furniture these chaise lounges are poorly designed and poorly constructed. The padding that is featured causes water to be held up so that if you keep them outside and it rains the seats take forever to dry out. In addition by holding the moisture they tend to get mildew rather quickly and that is even with a mildew preventer on them. The wheels tend to unscrew when they are moved and if you tighten the screws the wheels wont turn. The support bars underneath also tend not to drain so that if you bring them inside and tip them to the side the water pours out drain holes that are at the top of the curved bars. We are very unhappy with these chaises. We have the dining set and take care to keep it under cover as the chairs have the same padding. Would not be suitable for outdoor use if you want to use them within a few days after a rain. Even with a towel you would still get wet from the padding.

After looking for months, we finally discovered Carls Patio. They had a great selection, and a wide variety of pricing. We were able to find a unique patio dining table and chairs. It was not easy to find a table that could seat 14 and still not be overwhelmingly massive for our small lanai area, but they actually had more than one that would work. Although our table had to be ordered, we worked with Tracey who was able to get it to us even before the promised date. They delivered it, unpacked it, set it all up, and removed all the packaging, and I didnt have to lift a finger. Very happy with the whole process, and the great selection they offer.

The selection in the store was the most to our liking of any store that we visited...and my wife and I visited almost them all. The staff was very knowledgeable and professional, from sales (the salesman even came out to our home to do a sketch proposal of layout) to management to delivery personnel to service after the sale.We have already recommended them to other people.

We are very new to the area, and were shopping nearby for rugs. We had been looking on line for places that carried patio umbrellas, as we were driving home on route Tamiami Trail we saw Carl’s the place we saw on line, so we pulled in. We were greeted by the staff who showed us several on display cantilever style umbrellas found one we liked and purchased it. From my research the price was fair and the quality appeared satisfactory. We have additional needs for our pool / patio and will definitely check into Carl’s first for those items.

We recently bought a small aluminum table with teak top and 2 side chairs from Tracey in the Sarasota store. Were going to use it as our kitchen table. What a delight she was to deal with. She was knowledgeable, pleasant and accommodating on both the sale and delivery. Rare to find such service in retail these days. I thought she owned the store because she tried so hard to make the sale - and did.

We spent around $14,000 on outdoor furniture and are very pleased with the quality, sales people, and inventory. It took about a month to get custom fabric, but seems to be well worth it.Its not cheap, its not shoddy, and its obviously designed to be forever. If youre looking for cheap outdoor stuff thatll last a couple years, look elsewhere. If you can afford it, its the way to go.

Being new to the area, my wife and I had the good fortune to pull into Carl’s Patio. It was our third stop. The other two were two very large indoor/outdoor furniture stores were a disappointment with their selection and available inventory. The minute we pulled into Carl’s, we could tell this would be different. It was. In fact it was only 20 minutes before closing time. Diego was the salesman on the floor. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. He steered us the right way, to the best materials for our beach front home. We found two collections we liked for two different areas and I’m embarrassed to say, we had an huge order. So large was the order that we went right on through closing time and were there over another hour afterwards – on a Sunday night. Diego stayed and was happy to help us. Wonderful service. Only one item from our very large order was not available. Everywhere else we went beforehand, it was 6-8 weeks for everything. They had hardly anything on the floor to look at or in inventory for same week delivery. With friends coming, Carl’s loaned us a like piece of furniture for what we couldn’t get immediately. We had two different deliveries, both deliveries and delivery crews were very well done, prompt, and courteous. The follow up after sale from Diego and also their customer service could not have been better. If you are looking for an outdoor and patio furniture store – stop looking – and go to Carl’s.

I was back at Carls the next day to make the purchase. I was very impressed with Chele and the manager. One of my items didnt appear available for when I needed delivery. They said Where theres a will, theres a way! Sure enough, I got an email that all of my pieces would be delivered together the day I needed it. After a recent heavy wind knocked over our patio table I needed to call Carls Patio to send a serviceman to repair a hinge on it. Since I was calling them anyway, I looked at the rest of the furniture and noticed the gasket was coming out of one of the lounge chairs. I called them on Sunday with a request for (2) repair items - by Tuesday at 3PM I had a serviceman here and within minutes both items were repaired. Great service!

They have expensive furniture, great quality and stylish. It is very hard to find that furniture in the store near you.We have and continue to enjoy their outdoor furniture, if you have a refined taste you will love their furniture.

Carls Patio Furniture has a large selection of quality outdoor furniture and Tracey Brandt does an excellent job! I highly recommend.

Tracey the manager was the rudest and most unknowledgeable salesperson Ive ever dealt with and Im a shopper. I was waiting for the other salesperson Diego to pass me a note saying help me! Not only was she unbelievably unprofessional to me, she snapped at Diego several times to help her with things she should clearly have known. Diego jumped, quickly helped and stood helpless. It was so uncomfortable we left and bought from a competitor.

Shopped at three different patio stores and kept coming back to Carls Patio because of the quality of the furniture they sale. Tracey was the store manager and was extremely helpful in giving her advice and knowledge of the product.

We have bought a lot of furniture over the last year and half for our house as well as our moms house...everything from pub tables and bar stools to sectionals, ottomans, dining tables, chaise loungers. We have always been treated like family by Tracey and Diego and cant imagine going anywhere else to buy. We have looked at most all the outdoor furniture stores in Sarasota and Venice and no one has the selection and prices that Carls has....too many stores have furniture that looks like it is from the Golden Girls era....but Carls has a little bit of everything..veryhappy with our furniture and quality

I ordered patio furniture 4 weeks ago. I spent alot of money on this set. When it arrived, the cushions were the wrong fabric. When I called the store, they said it is going to take another 4 weeks to get the right cushions. I would shop somewhere else.
