Sal took absolutely awesome care of my 2008 Honda Element. Ive come here multiple times before with my element and never had a single issue. Service has always been same day pickup and Im happy to live so close to them when I need them. I highly recommend the Saratoga store if you need maintenance. They are my GO-TO tire spot.

The web site quoted me a certain amount, I get to the shop and that’s where I got slapped with additional charges. Sal was fantastic!! He saved me what he could monetarily and provided excellent customer service. This company needs to be more transparent with the charges that will affect each customer in their own shopping zone: what is going to be recommended and suggested, sales tax, etc.I wish Sal worked for a different company, I would be more likely to work with him again as I refuse to be ripped off by Mavis again!!

Went in and saw Cody at the front desk. They were busy but they went out of their way to help me and get us back on the road. I made an appointment at Mavis in Saratoga for an oil change for 9:00 on a Saturday. I was there early and spoke to Holly at the service desk. She was nice enough to give me a free tire rotation and noted that I was taking a trip and to check it over so it was road worthy. I figured it would take about 45 minutes . At 10:45 after seeing a walk in customer in and out in a half hour, I reminded Holly that I made an appointment and it was going on 2 hours waiting. She then told me there was a 2 to 3 hour window for appointments!! Her tone then immediately changed to snippy and rude. She then got irritated when I asked if I got the $10 discount coupon for the oil change! I have used the Saratoga Mavis alot in the past but with her behind the counter I will never go back there again. Nowhere did I see a 3 hour window for making an appointment! Thats a ridiculous policy especially for a quick service such as an oil change. Queensbury Mavis never treated me that way. Holly needs an attitude adjustment if shes going to be the first person people see.

Im a difficult customer, especially with my vehicles. I dont like spending unnecessary money on cars, I think of a car as my tool and think people who spend tons of money on fancy cars are crazy. The service members always outdo themselves and help me keep vehicles on the road safely with least amount of spending. I recommend leaving your car rather than waiting, this gives service team freedom to do things at their own pace. If you cant find something to do in Saratoga Springs, well, you probably have bigger problems.

I came in for my car shaking upon breaking, the front end. And to check and or change a wheel sensor thatI broke doing my own brake job.What I got is a bad sensor still and an explanation of maybe its a glitch. After I told them what wheel to repair. They charged me 400 for 1 rear set of pads and caliper, a caliper that is a month old. Under warranty from o Rileys,Front brakes are still causing my car to shake violently. They did nothing and when confronted they showed me warn pads. I still have 100 percent of the same issues after having 430$ stolen from me.

I unknowingly had a near flat tire. We were leaving town and needed to have it serviced. I took the car to a competitor who informed me I had to return in 5 hours. I took a chance and drove to Mavis. They informed me that they would take care of the issue. We waited about an hour and was satisfied with the service. Thank you.

Got me in the same day my tire blew, but also took 4 hours for what should have been a 40 minute tire change. I appreciate the effort, but just wish I was given some notice about the scheduling before I booked an appointment.

Terrible service. My husband had an appointment for an oil change and would be told he would be all set in an hour so he waited... 2 hours later the car still wasnt in the garage. Only bring your car here if you have nothing planned for the whole day.

Was quoted at another shop for over $500 to do repairs on my exhaust system, I went to Mavis and spoke to Sal and he corrected the problem for around $100 and it was like new again. Awesome service! Will recommend to anyone in the Saratoga area. Fast and friendly service at a great price

Took my car for a last minute inspection because my regular mechanic doesn’t work weekends. Received a call my break calipers were worn and I needed breaks, pads, and rotors replaced. I advised I’d just had my entire break system checked and replaced in November, but they insisted it needed to be done. When I arrived to pick up the car I was advised it’s actually only the right side. Took my car to regular mechanic and surprise surprise, nothing is wrong and it passed. Tried quoting me $650 of work, then $350, and I STILL paid $21 for a “failed inspection “. Total ripoff. Should have never tried this place again after the first time I tried having tires replaced quoted one price over the phone, but when I got there an hour later was told they didn’t actually have those tires in stock like they said and I ended up with tires around $200 more than expected.

I am from NYC and visited Saratoga over the weekend. Happened that i needed to have my car inspected. I went to this place because i read positive reviews. And reviews were on spot. Great people/staff, very accommodating, knowledgeable and the place is clean. Highly recommended for people who needs service for their car. Thumbs up Mavis Team!

Making an appointment or is meaningless to Mavis in Saratoga.I’ve been to this location before and had good service, but this time I made an appointment to swap winter tires with all season already on rims, and when I got there I was told I would have to wait for 3 hours for a job that should take 15-20 minutes.I was told that I had to wait because there were 10 cars in front of me, but what’s the point of making an appointment that reserves a time for your vehicle to be seen? I understand if you are behind but then the employee could have prefaced his statement with that. Instead employee was not helpful and told me to look at the terms of service which states the window for service is 2-3 hours- which he made sure to repeat 3 times. Needless to say I canceled my appointment and left.I did go look for that window of service in my reservation online, and even checked for this information by trying to make a new reservation and I don’t see this stated anywhere. I think if I was met with someone who was not so brash about my scheduled appointment I would have a different review.

I am just so pleasantly surprised by my experience here! I am from out of town and got a flat. I really thought this was going to put a dent into my wallet and was a little nervous, but when I got my total, I was so happy! They gave me a free tire rotation, balance and the customer service was amazing! Not to mention Sal was the sweetest and most helpful individual ever! I can only imagine how hard it is to be across the street from a big tire company. Supporting local business is extremely important and they didn’t price gouge me like Mitas was trying to! They were transparent and very informative with what they did to my car. 100000/10 recommend!!

First I will say that I appreciate the timely and generally good customer service. I will also say that I have been to other Mavis locations and had a good experience. I usually do my own maintenance but dont have the machine for mounting tires. Now the reason for my review...Went in for a simple tire change with a 2019 Ram. About 3k miles later, I was looking over the vehicle about to embark on a long drive and noticed that two of the lug bolts on the front wheel were not in all the way, in fact they were barely in at all. I pulled one of them out and it had been badly cross threaded. Only about 1/4 inch of thread had been inserted into the wheel hub assembly and the bolt was tightened at an angle. I saw the problem form standing up a few feet away, it was obvious. I should have inspected the lugs after having the work done, but I shouldt have to, right? I left the other cross threaded lug in and took it in to a Mavis in my current location. This mavis was very helpful and recognized that the mechanic had severely screwed up. They are currently working on replacing the entire hub assembly and wheel bearing as the lug holes were destroyed. I use the vehicle for work so its an inconvenience to say the least. They did agree to cover the cost to fix it.Had the mechanic started the bolt by hand as they should, this could never have happened. It was clearly started with an impact wrench. This kind of half-a#* work is why I am hesitant to take my vehicles to places like Mavis. Had it gone differently, the wheel could have started vibrating loosening the other lugs and eventually falling off. Thats not an exaggeration, Ive seen it happen.Id recommend avoiding this place until they train the mechanics properly and have more oversight on the work being done by rookies or careless employees. Its changing tires folks, not that hard to do it right!

Sal was very helpful in the decision-making process. Prior to my visit I had researched several tire manufacturers and recommendations for Jeep, Grand Cherokee Summit online. We compared notes, his knowledge of manufacturers specifications and industry standards simplified my decision-making process. Sal is a pro!

Recently I purchased two defective tires from another Mavis location. He diagnosed the defect in both tires and replaced free of charge with no hassles. The best!!

Very friendly and helped me swap my rims with no problem when others wouldnt do it.

Came in to figure out what was wrong with my E-brake after failing an inspection at another facility and Sal was so helpful and communicated exactly what was needed and fixed it for an amazing deal while also completing my inspection. Mavis installed snow tires on our Mini Cooper and we love the tires. We shopped around and found Mavis to be the most knowledgeable with great service and price.

DO NOT do business at this location !!!! Tires were $57.99 each but when I picked the car up some 6 or 7 hours later the Tires were $72.99 each. The con artist behind the counter said they talked to a my daughter and was going to be put on two credit cards. (Paid with cash ) No daughter and wife passed away a couple of years ago so then it was I didnt make an appointment but on my receipt it said reservation date 10/30/2020 and to top it off the car has a vibration in-between 42 mph up to about 47 mph....

I really wanted to give a 5 star review to these guys. They got me in quick while I was traveling from out of state. They were really nice and had me on the road in no time. They said the fix was permanent and not temporary and I should be good. However, after I traveled another 3 hours stayed the night at a hotel. I woke to discover that the same tire they had fixed was flat. I am waiting for roadside assistance right now.

We made an appointment online, which is the way to go . You receive an appointment discount which definitely helps! You are told to drop the vehicle at any time and allow a 3 hour turn around.When we arrived we were checked in by a very friendly, upbeat young man, Chris.We left for awhile and went for a stroll. Although, we hadnt heard from them to say the car was ready, we returned about 2 1/2 hours in and were disappointed to see the car hadnt moved. This was concerning.However, when Chris saw me, he knew right away which vehicle and said he was going to pull it in himself right now to get us out of there. I appreciated that! He was although being pulled in many directions was still very friendly, said he appreciated our patience and did just as he said and got it in and out in no time.Chriss customer service made all the difference in the world. Made what could have been 3 stars 5! We will return without hesitation and will hope to be met by a Chris, each time. Great job,Chris! Thank you.

I rolled in there on a Saturday 25 minutes before closing time loaded trailer with a blown out tire and bent rim. Sal and Randy even though they don’t stock the items I needed, offered assistance . They housed my trailer overnight and I returned with the next morning with a replacement . The hospitality and customer service were exceptional. The replacement was installed and another safety issue addressed that was pointed out. The entire staff right down to the service technician Jim and a new first day employee Amanda were just plain nice . No over the top salesmanship just good people . I’ve read some less than stellar reviews and some similar to mine . I say it’s all in the approach and this location helped me out .

Nightmare experience, took 2 hours to get two tires mounted, was promised 45 minutes. Worker did not read instructions on balancing and screwed that up too. Workers were rude. Pay the extra and go to a better place.
