I had my eye exam done elsewhere but their optician was not helpful so I ended up here and saw Joel. Joel answered every question straight up and when I picked out some sunglasses that he didnt think would work with my prescription but that I really liked he said if you like them that much well try it and if they dont work well go to option B. They didnt work, he was right, but I got a refund with no argument and a new style ordered.
I have been going here for a couple of years. I have no complaints about the doctors or exams. However the service area is always understaffed when there for anything other than an eye exam. I came to pick up new glasses at 2:15. Sign said, On lunch will return. When I come back there is one employee to take care of the backlog of customers. Been waiting for 20 minutes. The doctor here is fantastic! I have my eyecare through Walmart and also 2 kids that receive all eyecare here as well. The doctor is great with all ages!! You just cannot beat the Walmart eyeglass prices, especially with the kids as they seem to go through them much faster. They offer the same 12 month guarantee and promotions that the more expensive eyecare clinics offer.
I love this vision center. The doctor guy is super nice and remembers a lot about you.
If you didnt buy your glasses here just walk on by. They want nothing to do with you unless you bought the glasses from them. Rude.
I went to see Debra Timperley, O. D. for cosmetic contacts. She was very helpful and kind during the eye exam that was a prerequisite for ordering the contacts. When the exam was over and I had paid for it, I was told there would be a three month wait on my contacts. I begrudgingly accepted this as the only option for getting my contacts and agreed to wait three months. Three months later, I was contacted by a representative at the Wal-Mart Vision Center and told that the contacts I had ordered were no longer being manufactured and that I would not be receiving the contacts that I had ordered three months prior. I requested a refund for both the contacts and the eye exam that had been performed solely as a prerequisite for the contacts. The money was immediately refunded for the contacts, but the man said I would have to talk with Debra Timperley, O. D. for a refund on the service that she had provided. When I was finally able to contact Debra Timperley, O. D., a few weeks later, I was rather rude and tactless about requesting a refund. Debra Timperley, O. D. was very patient and kind with me, and we agreed on a partial refund for the service that was provided. Since then Debra Timperley, O. D. has put extra effort in to find alternatives for me for the contacts that are no longer available. When my phone number changed, she even wrote me (hand written, not typed) to stay in contact and keep me updated on other vendors for the specialty contacts I had originally requested. Service like this is unheard of in todays market. Debra Temperley, O. D. is a helpful doctor and a great person. I would recommend her to anyone.
