Just left the Sayville store with my daughter and experienced a very condescending service moment with the young lady at the cashier. While attempting to pay, arguing with me that I should only remove my card when the green light shows, never looked me in the eye, continued to take my card from my hand and then point out the green light...because maybe, she knows green better than I do. Thankfully, there are many places where I can find hardware items. Orange and red places ;)

I love this place. Great selection of the parts and supplies you need in a jam!

We found them very helpful. We own a house in the Pines and if you know the island it can be very difficult to get things here when you’re doing a job and you runout of something, I needed four more gallons of deck stain and they actually delivered it to the ferry ⛴ this was a huge help to us otherwise we would have waisted a whole day to go and get it.

Best hardware store around! everybody is super friendly and helpful. they have pretty much any product you’re looking for, including awesome toys for kids! i recommend going here for your hardware supplies. i always enjoy channa and julia’s presence while there. they’re so professional and kind all around. i’m always smiling when i leave sayville brinkmanns and i, especially, have the young women to thank for that!

So I always get top notch service here and they always have what I need, but this time I am just so happy I had to write a review. I believe the young woman who helped me is named Hope, but it was a while ago so I could be wrong. I was making this key rack for a friend and looking for hardware. Another employee had shown me where the hooks were a few days before and I was looking for a different finish. She saw my project and showed me amazing things on high shelves I would have never found on my own, or been shown if she hadnt taken an interest in why I was asking for hooks. I cant believe I made this. Couldnt be happier! Thank you Hope!

Just moved to town, seems like a place to get everything. Super nice employees. Definitely more expensive than Home Depot/Lowes...but Ill pay a few extra bucks to support the local business! Look forward to using them frequently in the future.

I have much praise for the employees at this location. Mike, Ken and the entire crew have always shown exceptional customer service. Answering my questions and offering suggestions and opinions. Working on fire island I can call and they have what I have requested delivered to the next available ferry for me. I highly recommend this location. These folks are amazing, and have the best service Ive seen. Ive purchased from them for years, but recently bought a top-of-the-line Weber grill from them. Turns out, I bought the WRONG kind (totally my fault) but I only realized it after theyd assembled it, shipped it across on the ferry and it had been delivered to my beach house. Without ANY issue, they took it back, ordered the correct one, assembled it, and had it to me in the space of a week. Truly exceptional.

Stopped by to pick up a couple of saw blades and employee walked me to where the reciprocating saw blades were located and discussed which type would be best for my project then walked me over to the hidden piezoelectric starters. Much nicer than the bigger stores!

Exceptionally friendly service and a wide selection of stuff you actually need and want. They even have a nice pet selection. Check it out for yourself and experience the type of personal friendly service that you just wont get in a big box store.

Always a good experience at brinkmanns. They are helpful and knowledgeable. They are adhering to the CDC guidelines and have a lot of stock of some hard to find items.

Great hardware store with knowledgeable employees. Their return policy is comprehensive and they dont make a fuss or argue when attempting to return something. I recommend getting their rewards card though it hasnt helped me in any way yet.Also the store is powered by solar panels so on particularly cloudy winter days you may experience their backup generator come on :)

Beautiful hardware store for the modern homeowner. Large selection top to bottom and great customer service. Love the selection of Carhartt and cleaning supplies. Way better experience than going to Lowes or Home Depot.

Local Hardware and Paint. More expensive but less aggravation than the big box stores.

Brinkmann is the best. The employees are super knowledgeable and helpful. They have a large stock of all home improvement items. So much better than Home Depot.

Always surprised at how much they have here. Like most, I usually travel to Home Depot or Lowes for my major home improvement projects. However, Ive found that more often than not I can find many of the supplies I need right here in town and at a fair price. I actually purchased a great snowblower here a couple of years ago which has served me well.The staff is helpful, so I can get in, get what I need and get back to my project in minutes instead of hours.Oh yeah, Benjamin Moore paints.Im a regular, I would recommend you give it a try.

Brinkmans has everything the big box stores have with the exception of lumber and appliances. However, Brinkmanns staff/ customer service is second to none.
