So they allegedly give you a total of 85% Off (60% plus another 25% off) on Custom Framing... But it still Cost $351 to frame a medium size picture! They said they Took Off over $700 off the price... They are simply Raising their Price 3X the amount and acting like they are saving you money... Bait & Switch if you ask me... just say its $350 and cut out out the deception

The store is good and had all things I wanted. The employees are very helpful at the store and also over the phone. You can ask them if you have any questions related to the item youre purchasing or even anything related to crafts. Lots of parking too

Stopped in to take advantage of some coupons they usually have on their website. Walked in hoping to get some containers for the pantry and we were able to find exactly what we were looking for. This is a great place. The selection of arts and crafts supplies is very impressive. This is one of my favorite places to shop. We can always find great ideas for the kids. This store in particular is nicely laid out, organized, clean, and has a great friendly helpful staff. Looking forward to stopping in again soon.

The store is good however the cashier Jordan needs a lesson in customer service. Upon approaching her station we spoke but she did not. She didn’t have a pleasant attitude. When the sale was completed I said thank you have a nice day and again she said NOTHING! I thought that was so rude. I won’t go back to this store because of Jordan.

I love craft stores! This Michaels has pretty good selections, and some tempting offers at times. Its well organized, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. The location is also great in a plaza that accommodates a variety of stores, so it makes it easier to pay a visit there, even though not planned.

Needed a certain size frame. A gentleman said I needed to bring in what I wanted framed. He was very polite and helpful. So on Jan. 8 I brought a poster in and a very nice polite young lady explained what all she could help me with. Poster required a custom frame which would be more expensive. I asked what else I could she then suggested a larger regular frame with a border cut to size. Thats what I decided to do. She said I could cut it myself or she would take care of it for me. She was very helpful and courteous and I told her that. Wish I would have gotten their names you folks can be proud of these two specific employees

3 stars because I was in store and I was looking for a product for more than 20 minutes. Couldn’t find it and I decided to ask a consultant for store. She didn’t not check to see if you have that specific product or not. She gave me a short response “- all we have it’s here. If you can’t find it then we don’t have it” in a couple minutes I was looking to another department and I found it. She’s working here and I think it’s supposed to help people in store. Not to run away by telling them “-we don’t have it”.

Well organized craft store.

Just went to get a frame for a project I made for my gf. This is NOT my type of store (nor am I their type of customer). But that should not and does not matter. The staff at this location is extremely helpful and friendly. Everyone completely looked right past the fact that I dont fit in at a store like this and they were excellent! I wish all stores had people this friendly and helpful. Keep it up!

Good inventory of Christmas decor.Yarn department has really become quite small...Papercrafts are extensive..Nice assortment of frames..Most departments are well stocked, except for yarn...Paint crafts, markers, canvasare plentiful.Beads, silk flowers are decent.Prices are reasonable for most items...Shoppers were masked and trying to follow social distancing.Staff were helpful!

Went in for natural beads during the doorbuster sale and was not disappointed! Huge selection and wasnt busy at all.

How is it possible that this Michaels is so poorly stocked

I needed a transparent see-thru plastic with certain thickness that I can use to cover the front of a home crafted piece of art frame. Though they did not carry that, overall I found it to be a nice place with lots of art/craft choices & friendly Staff members.

I purchased all these flowers from michaels during their 70% off sale. This was 70 dollars instead of 300 or 400. Thanks Michaels

I love Michaels. To the best of my knowledge, there dont appear to be many/ any local art supply stores in the area (and I dont know how large of an inventory they would have). So, without a locally owned alternative, Michaels is THE art supply store to go to. They have an absolute huge selection of materials to choose from and appear to cover most or all areas a home artist would be engaged. For my daughter and I, its painting. Shes into acrylic. I love watercolors. From a variety of paint brands to brushes to paper to canvases, Michaels covers it all. For me, its like stepping into a candy store 😊. But I also have fight against grabbing up everything! On the occasions Ive had to seek out staff assistance, they have always come across as genuinely wanting to help. So, if youre in the greater Schaumburg area, it is definitely a go to place.

I love this Michaels because of the people there. They are super nice, always ready to help and to me it doesnt look like the store is short on staff which is really good.

Pickings a little sparse in the model kit aisle, which was the main reason I went, plus they no longer sell the cans of propellant for airbrushes.

I was shopping at this location and the customer service I received was horrible because when I was checking out I said “Hi” to the cashier who was working and she didn’t say anything back and even when I told her to have a nice day she still didn’t saying anything but she appeared to be friendly to the person who was checking out before me.

Once again had a ton of coupons not even including the ones they send you in emails and I couldnt use them on a single thing I got because the items were already on sale! What is the point of giving out coupons if you can never USE THEM!! This is the worst store for coupons, every time! Im not sure why I even shop here anymore!And te girl at the register wasnt focused on doing her job at all.Different location, same issues!! So annoyed!!

Great selection for any season. Wedding ideas and crafting are a specialty. They do great framing with a bit of leadtime since they do a lot. Found some fun items in their clearance section. Enjoy just walking around and letting my creative juices flow. Handicap accessible parking/entrances/restroom.

Found just what I needed and then some! Just like always. I was much happier once they opened an additional register. I mean there were only about a dozen of us waiting in line. Thats why they get four stars. It was going to be a three but they had a 40%off coupon online so they get a four

I recently had to get something framed and it was inexpensive, Charles helped me and helped me find a more reasonable priced mat. I have shopped there as well for other things, their sale items are great deals. You can sign up for their rewards club and get money off for shopping there. They do not carry dried flowers. The store is usually clean and organized.

Gotta love this place, bigger inside than it looks woth suuuuuper helpful staff. Last time I was there they want out of their way to check if they had a 5th photo frame in stock to match the 4 I saw in the aisle.

A Craft store with anything you need. From ribbons, baskets, silk flowers, picture frames, art paint supplies of all kinds etc. Their personal frame work is lovely. A lot of Holiday crafts and finished products for sale

Disappointing experience today. This is one of our favorite locations to shop at, but somehow after 8 months of this pandemic they still haven’t figured it out. We encountered one employee who was regailing customers with stories without a mask on while walking through the aisles, customers were allowed into the store without masks on properly, and there is 0 room for social distancing in this space. Figure. It. Out.

Ive started to grow accustomed to big-city locations, so this Michaels was a breath of fresh air! Everything was well stocked, and even the clearance items were well arranged. Staff was ready to help, without being pushy. Id definitely recommend this store.

Great experience yesterday! My order that I placed online was restocked because I waited too long to pick up and Samantha was so nice... She helped me shop for the items and even rang me up in the back by the frames. Ill definitely shop at this Michaels again.

If I could give it a negative 1 I would. Melissa the manager was very very rude to my family and I. I had coupons to use and it was one per transaction. I was shopping with my family and everyone was paying for their own stuff. Very rudely she tells the rep only two coupons can be used. We were a family of 5. She made it extremely embarrassing for me at the register with a line of customers. She kept huffing and puffing and kept telling the rep how many did you use, don’t use her rewards blah blah. I have been a loyal customer to michaels for over 15 years. Have spent a lot of money and to be mistreated like that has made it very upsetting for me to ever go back to this location. My local store has never ever made it an issue with how many coupons I can use as long it’s been rung out separately. They appreciate my business not make me wanna leave without buying. I work in customer service and to deal with a manager that is rude and disrespectful will make it hard for people to wanna shop here. Melissa, you and your attitude is not appreciated by customers like myself. If you had a problem with coupons you can quietly explain why you can or can’t use them not make it a public announcement.

Staff is knowledgeable. Store is clean and well stocked. Had what I needed... Could use a little more help in the isles, to direct customers, but the prices are reasonable, so you cant expect everything. Great parking and access to major area roads.

More craft than art focused supply store with tons of offerings for kids and adults alike. Carries the same types of products that you can find at most Michaels with slightly more quantity than at other locations. Sales are plentiful. Parking is easy.

The coupons on line are always great to pair with the great sales. There was few workers in the floor to help customers.

Always have what I need. Plus I love the mixed clearance boxes!

Seems more like a Petsmart than a Michaels. Lots of items not in stock or if they are, ripped open. Plus large (non service) dogs get to run though howling and barking. Im assuming the have great insurance if they let random animals in a lot.

They have a decent selection. Some is way over priced even if you have a coupon. I feel Hobby Lobby has a bigger and better selection and always has a 40% off coupon.

I love how artful Michaels is. It always has the materials I need and I still want to come back for more creative ideas. Honestly an amazing place for any crafty DIY ideas.

As a full on crochet-geek I visit this Micahels location frequently. While I absolutely LOVE this store and all it has to offer, I will say that their yarn, crochet, and knitting section are quite sparse. There is only one very short aisle of yarn and behind it theres a tiny section of wall/display where they have minimal crochet hooks, knitting needles, stitch markers, etc. They do not sell individual hooks which is a huge disappointment, and they dont have any sort of variety where hooks/needles are concerned either. They seem to have an overly large scrapbooking section that takes up almost the entire middle of the store. I am always seeing crafters in there looking for yarn. Ive had convos with other customers in store about how small their selection is. I dont understand why they havent expanded their crochet/knitting supplies considering how popular it seems to be. The prices are always great, with high quality yarns going on sale often so its always worth a visit to check that out.

I love Michaels. I shop there all the time. The store is always clean and well laid-out. I have never had a bad experience there. The only problems I have with the place are 1. The staff seem disinterested in customers and are therefore hard to approach on the off-chance I cant find what Im looking for, and 2. Their rather lackluster selection of knitting needles. The yarn selection is adequate (though Jo-Anns is bigger) but they never have the needles I need.Update: most recent visit this store was out of several things I needed in the baking, glassware & knitting sections. The yarn selection has really suffered since last time I was in. If youre a big knitter I recommend shopping online for your yarn now. Bummer.

The Schaumburg Michaels is always fun to visit. The seasonal displays are so lovely and everything is neat and organized. Its easy to find help when I need it and very friendly too.

The absolute best place to get anything framed. You can frame it yourself but letting the professionals do it is soooo worth it. You can not get a better look on any of your artwork or pictures!

I have always visited this Michaels and today was such an unpleasant experience I was sincerely disappointed.I ordered my first online pick up for two Happy Planner kits Teacher Editions. I shopped around since today was the last day for specials.While in line I witnessed both cashiers talking bad about their co-worker WHILE attending customers. They made no conversation with the customers in front of them but kept talking to each other behind the counter while they were checking customers out.I went to the back of the store to pick up my order and went back in line to return one of the Happy Planner kits since I had found one during my visit.The cashier couldnt figure out how to give me the refund. She called her manager which I believe her name was Annie.Annie in front of everyone waiting in line behind me huffed and puffed and told me you should have just told me that in the back when you picked it up so that I could have taken care of it back there!. Then she asked do you know how much it was! I showed her the email confirmation of my purchase and it was not itemized. She became apparently disgruntled and the cashier did the math on her phone calculator to help her give me a refund.After everything was said and done Annie, the manager, muffled a negative comment under her breath and the cashier said, I know right!?.Needless to say, I felt awful leaving that place! I really wanted to ask for a full refund at the end of that transaction and never support that Michaels again! I am a teacher and fully enjoy Michaels but I was sincerely disappointed at the unprofessionalism in this location.

I absolutely dread this location but its the closest one to my house. I only go to this one if I need a few things but much prefer the other Michaels in Schaumburg. The isles are too small, they never have the air conditioner on its always so hot in there. Also the clerks only allow one coupon no matter what and that is NOT company policy! For example today I received an email that had 3 coupons attached. The fine print clearly says only one type of coupon per product. I had a 25% coupon off total purchase and a 40% off one reg price item. I should have been allowed to use the 40% off one item and the 25% off all the other items. But the clerk said I could only use one coupon total. Thats NOT true your system allows more than one coupon per transaction just not more than one on each item. Just scan the damm coupon and youll see but the clerk refused. All the stores I have been to across the US know this except this particular location. It wasnt much of a difference on my item but if I had been buying a higher priced item I would have asked for a manager. These employees need better training on coupons and overall customer service.

I hate this store. They are constantly changing the setup of the entire store which makes a quick stop for one or two things nearly impossible, because you can never find anything! Staff is completely unhelpful and on occasion, Ive found to be flat out rude. The one or two times I was fortunate enough to find someone willing to be helpful, they had to walk all over the store trying to find the item I was looking for because even they never know where things are at. I highly recommend using a different Michaels Store.

Michaels was having a great feel on canvas. From the cheapie cheaps to the really nice ones... I really like they they carry so many different kinds of canvas... Out of all the craft stores, they definitely have the most..
