Dealing with getting a refund on gap insurance was a nightmare. The dealership did not return calls or respond to voicemails or my certified letter. I did receive a response when I emailed customer service directly (the same email address that keeps popping in responses to these reviews) but there was no follow up beyond a single phone call that someone would look into the status of the refund. (No followups with an actual status though.) It wasnt until I reached out to the insurance company for help that the dealership finally cut me a check 4 months after I initially contacted them. I shouldnt have had to do that. This dealership will be quick to sell you something but will ghost you if they owe you money. Be aware.

Bought a 2021 V90 CC here at Patrick a couple months ago, overall a wonderful and accommodating experience. Because I drove from far away the team was understanding of some time constraints during my visits amidst the buying process (since I had a new puppy at home) and took additional measure to ensure the transaction was seamless and timely. If you are looking for a new car please ask for Ashvin, he was great.Moreover, I recently came in because I damaged my tire on a curb (super aggravating) and was about to head out on a cross country road trip and had concerns about the tire holding up. Bart in the service department was extremely understanding and sympathetic to my situation. Big shout out to him for providing a wonderful customer service experience and helping ensure my family and I are safe on our summer road trip. This type of experience is why you purchase your car from Patrick. I recommend you consider them for your next car buying endeavor.

Egor was very responsive to all of my questions over text, email, and phone and worked with me to find the right car for my price point. In addition, the pricing I was offered was substantially better than all of the other Volvo dealers within a 50 mile radius (for a brand new car with all of the features I wanted).The teams service was also above-and-beyond, with the car being delivered right to my front door! We were in the market for a plug in hybrid which were in short supply. Had a service appointment scheduled with a loaner to be dropped off at my house at 8am. By 9am no one showed up or called me. Terrible customer service!

Wish I could give no stars, based on the fact that the service center allows joy rides of your vehicle, and the service director and corporate will defend it. They claim a vehicle that gets 8.2 mpg on a .7 mile drive is not “Hot roding” a term they used. Volvo treats customers like they know nothing about cars. When I picked up my XC60 t8, the rims were COVERED with brake dust, I washed my car and cleaned the rims less then a week before the service. Boycott Volvo / especially Patrick Volvo . I’ll be picking up a Mercedes Benz GLC 300 soon . They ruined my week and my love for Volvo . So sad they treat customers that buy there top of the line vehicles this way.

I have leased several cars before but this was my first time getting a Volvo. I had been to a couple of other Volvo dealers and none compared to my experience at Patrick Volvo. I bought an XC60 T8 Recharge from Patrick Volvo 2 weeks ago and could not have had a better experience. I was directed there since I bought the vehicle through the Costco program. The deanship is almost 3 hours from my home but it was well with the trip! Justin, the authorized Costco contact was welcoming and professional. He directed me to Egor as my personal sales rep who outstanding in all respects. He is very knowledgeable, professional and helpful without being pushy. I was uncertain which of the XC60 models to get and after Egor spent considerable time with me, ended up with the T8 which is perfect for me and has been a dream the last 2 weeks. We LOVE our new XC90 Recharge. However, as part of the negotiation, Patrick Volvo agreed to provide us with roof racks. We purchased the car almost two months ago and not only have the roof racks not been installed but now the salesperson is dodging our communication despite paperwork showing they owe us the parts.

A very trustworthy service department. The sale of the vehicle is relatively minor compared to the years of subsequent service. I have been a Patrick Volvo Schaumburg customer for more than 15 years. The service advisors have always had me and my vehicle as first priority. I have never felt scammed or in any way duped by any service advisor. The future is unknown, so I have told by wife that if it comes to her having to take the car for service, she can trust the advisors at Patrick Volvo, especially Bart.This is not a sexist review. I simply am the the one who routinely takes the vehicles for maintenance.

Earlier in June, we were in the market for a new suv. We visited Patrick Volvo and McGrath Volvo in Barrington. After testing out a few XC90 at both dealerships, we decided to go with Patrick due to the level of service we received from their employees. Mo Khan was outstanding. He was patient, down to earth and not pushy like other sales people at tge dealership. During the finance process we had an encounter with one of their finance advisors at their Cadillac franchise who was beyond rude and awful. Mo Khan stepped in and offered to have another finance advisor process our document and bank loan. We purchased our XC90 and within 10 days returned to purchase another Volvo. @patrick Volvo, you have a great employee, do not loose him.

I was happy from the sale department, but had the worst experience with the service department. We got a new 2021 xc90 and after a week we discovered that the roof is leaking when we go through car wash. And we had a scratch on the rim that was cover by insurance that we purchased from the dealership. We called the service department and ask for loner so we can keep the day as usual, the representative said that if we need a loner we need to wait 4 weeks so we did. When we dropped the car we were told that they don’t have loners but they drive us to rental car agency and they will provide us a car. We got there and they gave us a much smaller car that made our day very inconvenient, when we ask if we can get the same size car they said “no”. After a day goes by and we didn’t hear from volvo, my wife called and was told “the leak on the roof is normal we’re not going to do anything about that”. I had many cars with sunroof before and I never experienced “normal roof leak”. We also asked what about the rim and they say they didn’t have time for it. So if I’m scheduling 4 weeks a head and you don’t do anything about the roof what did you do for a day almost 2? On top of all that when my wife dropped the rental car they told her she need to wait for 30 min for someone to come and pick her up (with a loner), eventually the car rental agency people felt bad and toke her instead. I will highly recommend you service your car in another volvo dealership. DO NOT GO NEAR THIS PLACE!

This is an amazing dealership. The Sales Manager Justin is awesome. I hadnt been there to get an oil change in over a year. I had only been there one other time. Yet Justin knew me and remembered me. Got the best price on my car and trust me, I shopped around. Although I am closer to at least 3-4 other Volvo dealers, this is the place I return!!!

I very rarely post reviews but my experience here was so bad I feel like I should warn people. Made a routine maintenance service appt for my Volvo, 7:30am, dropped it off the night before. From the day before my appt up to the time I got my car back I was contacted no less than 5 separate times (text, email, and phone) from sales trying to get me to buy a new vehicle. At the same time, service did not even look at my car until I called around 3pm that day to ask what the status was. No one was helpful, I got transferred 5+ times each time I called in (once even to their Cadillac dealership), and I was told they didn’t look at my car for 7 hours because of people waiting on-site for their cars to be done. What was the point of the appointment then? For me, I chose 7:30 b/c I really needed my car back that afternoon. They made a lame attempt to fix things and offered to drive the car back to me since I couldn’t pick it up after hours, which I took them up on, but at the end of the day I paid $550 for super expensive regular maintenance and the service was AWFUL. I would never go here.

My 2013 XC60 right fender is rusting badly from the inside out per an owner of a body shop. We bought the car new from Patrick 8 years ago and no accidents. None of my other Volvos ever rusted so early. Many XC60s seem to have this issue per an internet search. Patrick told me they would not touch the car since Volvo would not pay them to fix it. They suggested I contact Volvo corporate for goodwill who suggest I go back to Patrick. No thanks for the run around. Im done.

My wife Rachel and I scheduled an appointment and traveled over an hour from Wisconsin to look at an S60 that we saw on line. When we arrived we had a good experience with Brett letting us test drive an S60, not the one we came to see...We liked the vehicle we drove but wanted to see the one we came for. They indicated it was in the body shop. This was disappointing. We would have appreciated this information before we came out. Then it got worse when they said they would contact us first thing the next day about the S60. We never heard from them. I called Brett, no response. Later I called the duty manager and he apologized and promised he would return my call in 5 minutes. Never heard anything but crickets. I am sharing this so people can educate themselves on the level of service you may receive at this dealership. Ours was overall disappointing.

We found Patrick based on inventory - they had the most of a specific car we were looking for. An added bonus was we had a beyond exceptional car-buying experience! We worked with Alex, and he was easy to talk to and answered all our questions. He was so patient with us while we discussed color! In finance, Patrick is a wizard. Using these service for 2 years. Maintenance and oil change take usually 1-2 hours. Selling insurance for front windows that wont work. Washing and vacuum cleaning is free, but it is very poor. They scratched the car and wont fix it.Volvo is Amazing car, but Patric Volvo service is horrible.

I recently purchased a Certified Preowned Volvo XC90 T8 sight unseen from Patrick Volvo. Of course, purchasing a vehicle without seeing it requires a lot of questions; and, the sales rep was highly responsive. He texted specific photos of the vehicle to address all of my issues. When it came to making a decision regarding price, it was pretty easy, as the vehicle was priced fairly within a 500 mile radius. A local friend inspected the vehicle and found a few dings and scratches that Patrick Volvo took care of before shipment. In fact, their body shop did such an excellent job touching it up, I cant find the blemishes. During the purchase process, I tacked on a few more OEM Volvo parts which they installed and nicely discounted. In fact, a few weeks later, I wanted a few more add-ons; and, Parts honored the earlier discounted price. Regarding shipment, Patrick Volvo arranged it all from Illinois to Minnesota. The carrier they found couldnt have been more professional, kind, and accommodating. The car was impeccable. The only frustration was the paperwork. There were a ton of docs to sign with no one to walk me through or a clear explanation of what was what. Checkout, so-to-speak, could certainly be improved for out-of-state customers. All in all, though, Id purchase again from Patrick Volvo.

The staff was nice, the facility clean. It took a long time for my car to be ready and the service team did not communicate with updated at all. Not only with me but two other customers were upset about the excessive wait and no communication. When I left I didnt feel I got what I came for, had to call back because they forgot to connect my modem to my vehicle. But still I would go back and hope for better service the next time.

Traded in a 2018 leased XC60 for a 2021 XC90 - family growing. The dealership forgot to send a form to the leasing company. I discovered this when I was informed that I was behind on my payments (for a car I no longer had), nearly 60 days later by the leasing company. I have NEVER been behind on ANY payment. Be careful with this place - they are not thorough.Also, when I first leased the XC60, the car started telling me it needed maintenance. I took it in. Turns out, the date tracking for the annual maintenance was set for when it was first produced, not when I started driving it (6 month difference). It did not need the maintenance. Wasted half a day PTO to discover this. Wish the person that set up the appointment (she had my VIN & vehicle info) would have done the extra work to prevent that from happening. Lazy and unprofessional all around.

I purchased my new Volvo XC60 from Patrick Volvo yesterday! I had the pleasure of working with Alex. From start to finish, he was the nicest, most professional, knowledgeable salesperson I have worked with. I was SO happy that he was NOT PUSHY or aggressive as so many other car salespeople tend to be. Purchasing a car during a pandemic is unusual, yes, however I felt completely comfortable and safe during the entire process. The test drive and negotiation process was smooth and easy. Once we agreed on a price, I was thrilled nearly everything could be done online so that when I picked up my car, it took under an hour, which I loved!! I am extremely pleased so far and I know that if any questions arise, both Alex and his manager Justin, can help me along the way. Bought a new 2021 xc90 and within 1 hour of driving it home, the check engine light came on. Patrick Volvo has washed their hands of us and turned us over to a Volvo 800 number. Volvo is not returning calls or doing anything for us. Our local dealership is working to fix the car. They have been the only one’s helpful in our situation. Patrick Volvo doesn’t care about their customers.

Came in pre-approved test drove two vehicles and made an offer only to be treated horribly by the salesman Barbatola and sales Mgr Jose! Both were rude and condescending! Neither seemed to have any interest in doing a deal! Wasted hours of my time and theirs! Took my business to BMW and purchased a better vehicle for a lower price! The only color that should matter in business is green! Should have read their negative reviews before stopping in! BUYER BEWARE!

After my wife experienced a 720-degree turn in her RAV4 out of no reason on highway, with the vehicle shifting from the left-most lane to the right shoulder, and almost got killed, ONLY one day after the Toyota dealer’s maintenance, it’s imperative for my family and my loved ones to stay away from Toyota forever. Alternatively, we turn to king of safety - Volvo.We have been to multiple dealers, including Toyota, Mercedes, Cadillac, and another Volvo, we never felt so welcomed like Patrick Volvo, and that’s probably the top reason why Patrick Volvo was still busy on such a heavily snowy day. While one of the associates was digging our selected model out of snow, instead of doing nothing, the manager and our salesman Ashvin kept us entertained for the whole time. As a professional salesman, Ashvin was knowledgeable and was able to address all our concerns; moreover, he preferred to highlight several key features of the model rather than list all the specs during our test drive.After we made up our mind to purchase the vehicle, he gave us an undeniable price at the very beginning, saving us substantial amount of time. With a hassle-free contract signing process, we were excited to take our new vehicle home UNTIL Ashvin came out and patiently showed us every detail of the new infotainment system. Moreover, he repeated all the free after-market services before letting us go.I would never expect a car buying experience enjoyable until I met Ashwin, and I recommend every car buyer schedule an appointment with Patrick Volvo even you don’t like Volvo initially. I believe Ashvin will do his best to meet your reasonable or unreasonable requirement and make your day!P.S. A big shout out to Edward, who introduced Ashvin to us.

Zero StarsBUYER BEWARE-  They will low ball you on your trade-in car, be sure to get another offer BEFORE you go in so youre not stuck with their way below market offer.BEWARE of a Conquest Rebate-- total scam to get you to pay more.  Sales rep with bring this up in a very casual manner making you think that its a good thing, but its not.  Ask questions about this before send any info.Make sure you leave the dealership with your 2nd key and the Volvo On Call app is working for your car.  They will totally ghost you and you will have to spend the next day or 2 hunting down the sales reps and product specialists to get your info. Terrible customer service.

Recently leased a car from Patrick. We pulled up and started looking at the cars in the lot. Tola came out and approached us within minutes.
