Hello allToday I would like to express my concern for all around well human beings.We had a flat tire and I have Lugnuts on all the wheels, one was stripped and stuck in place. This young lady working front counter took the time out of her busy day. To have two truly outstanding guy’s break the lock. This took some time but nevertheless I had patients. Just wanted to let everyone know that Gratitude goes along way truly appreciate all that you guys done. Highly recommend anybody visit the store.

I understand companies are short staffed, over worked ect. But a little compassion and common courtesy goes along way. The guy working the front desk today had 0! Took my business elsewhere.

My car was acting up in the middle of the express way.. worried because it was the weekend it would be hard to get someone to fix it. Called this place, Firestone, and Jason booked us right away and was able to fix my car the same day! Also the honesty of the staff was greatly appreciated, they told me they had to use/ put back my own old car part because their new one was on default but mine was still good, and made adjustments on their fee. I totally recommend this awesome place. Will be bringing my car soon for its maintenance!!

Came here to check tires for my car, waited about 20 min. Some guy “Jason”that was supposed to be on front was having conversation with a costumer. Than he vent on the back by the shop and was fixing some tire. When I asked if anyone works at the front, some guy pointed at him and when I asked him for help he rudely said to wait in front than he will come And talk to me which didn’t happen for another 10 min. While I was waiting some other costumer walked in and he took them. When I confronted him about it he said just wait I’ll take care of you after but we are about to close anyway.

5/2021 Have not brought my cars here recently due to having new cars and the dealer taking care of them. Needed brakes so came here again. Many people were helpful. Anne was especially helpful. Had some part issues which delayed things getting done quickly, but Anne was helpful and courteous. She made the delay bearable. Appreciate her customer service on it. Mechanics fixed it right the first time, which is always appreciated. We will bring our cars here again as they get older.

Ive had some negative experiences with a Firestone in NJ that made me reluctant to leave my car here, but after driving through a monsoon near Lincoln Park, my car was loudly vibrating and roaring as if the exhaust system had simply fallen off. This Firestone has great hours and I was able to drop my car off Saturday evening. Being from out of town, I of course made several frantic phone calls looking for updates but the staff was always patient and pleasant over the phone. They also worked above and beyond to find a particular clamp that cut the quoted cost of repairs in half! In brief, this Firestone was a lifesaver for me and I would highly recommend their customer service.

How long does it take to do an oil change? well it took them 3.5hrs. YES 3.5HRS. While I waited, even set up an appointment. Shop wasnt even busy at all. I asked them when I was waiting for 2 hrs. how much longer? The lady upfront replied, the are rapping it up. 30 mins pass by, I asked again, how much longer? they reply 5-10 mins. Then when I FINALLY got my van back (let you remind you 3.5hrs later) didnt get no apology no explanation why it took so long. Heres the icing on the cake, I get my van back with the dash still reading oil change required. Are you freaking kidding me? Did they even do the work? oh and the inside of the door handle and steering wheel so greasy. NEVER GOING BACK! WORST SERVICE EVER!

It took 4.5 hrs to put new tires on the car, after it was done I found there were no tire caps and hub cap plate was missing. If thats not enough, they broke the TPM sensor, which now I get TPMS error. Took my car in today, TMPS machine that diagnosing the problem was not functional, waited 2 hrs just for them to tell me that. HORRIBLE service, incompetent technicians, Firestone has to have better service than this being in business all this time. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO THIS LOCATION, MANAGER IS CARELESS.

Honest staff & good quality work.

Scheduled appointment for an oil change. Got there early per the email. Sat there for 20 minutes before I asked why they hadnt taken my car. The employee told me they were backed up an hour and I would be waiting at least an hour and a half. This was with an appointment. I walked out. I wouldnt recommend going here. Oil changes take15-20 minutes at every other business. Plenty of better places out there.

Dont go there my appointment was at 6pm for balance and tires rotation,when I come there they tell me to wail to 8pm.

I scheduled an appt for a Sunday at 10am for 4 new tires and an alignment, they were done by 1230pm. Not to mention they were very professional and courteous. I can definitely recommend this Firestone location.

Rude and disrespectful, wasted time! Appointments is for you only... they couldnt care less. Not recommended. Is a shame, a company so big cant train their associates some basic customer service.

My wife had a blowout on the expressway. Got there 20 minutes before they closed. They stayed late and got her car done. AWESOME.

Horrible place my husband went there ordered tires made an appointment to have themPut on went there no tires made another appointment for today august 7 th went there was told they had the tires but sent them to another store the day before now mind you he hooked up the camper three times so he leaves and gonna go get tires at arts rv and gets a flat on the way with no spare if Firestone had the tires like they said this would not have happened will not go here again

I came to to this place twice. First time whn i bought 4 tires. Obviously the service was above and beyond but,.today 2nd time i am here and the reason is a flat tire. They initially said they cant do anything and will not able to provide service😡 but when i told them how good they were in selling the tires and now they cant even fix a flat even though its under warranty.Then he said he will take the car but i will be sitting here till they close. Well it has been over an hour. Lets see how long do i have to wait.

Brought my vehicle in for 2 flat repairs and they pushed me on replacing 1 of the air pressure sensors. Only because they could not get it out. It was not leaking! I was told they always take them apart when performing flat repairs. To me its unnecessary and a way for them to upsell. They employees were nice but this policy from Firestone comes across as a rip off in my opinion.(Update a month later: I went to another non related tire shop and they took care of flats and didnt mention the air sensor. Its still working )

Absolutely the worst staff I’ve ever dealt with. I was quoted two diff prices but magically when I went to the website and found yet another price then I was giving them a hard time. They take advantage of females and overcharge bc they don’t know any better. Would never do business with this location. I feel like they would break something to make me spend more and have to get more work. The manager is unable to reach for days then has no professionalism at all. Do not take your car here!

Brought my car in a couple of weeks ago to mount 4 brand new winter tires. Passenger rear tire was leaking from the first night I picked the car up, losing a couple of pounds of pressure per day. Prior to installation, there was no leaking from any of my wheels.I brought the car back to Firestone to ask if they could check the leak, as I told him that maybe there was an installation issue, when a service rep there immediately began arguing with me and said, if we installed the other tires correctly, we installed this one correctly.I took the car to another wheel/tire shop, they took off the wheel, and noticed that the wheel was severely bent. I did not hit any potholes since mounting the new tires. The tire, as mentioned before, was leaking air from the moment I picked it up. Shop owner told me that Firestone likely damaged the wheel during installation and did not tell me anything.Wont be going back again and highly suggest that people steer clear of this location and their extremely poor customer service.

Apparently appointments dont mean anything. When you show up they say they are too busy and cant do a simple oil change.

Been to this Firestone a couple of times since 2015, staffs are always courteous. Dropped in on July-18 without appointment to look at some cosmetic damages underneath my car. Scott did great work on quick inspection, advised me on what is needed to be done and options available.

I got a nail in my tire here in IL and they got us in immediately to fix it up. Saved us a ton of money and time. They were so kind throughout the process as well. Highly recommend these guys!

This visit is a surprising 1 when past visits were 5 worthy. Hope it was a 1 off but they claimed to not be able to order my new tires as they were speciality tires not available for order. Tires that NTB had year with no issue. Just seems more like someone wanted to clock out.

Bad experience. Gave my car for oil change for the first time at this place. They left a plier under the car hood on the edge and closed the hood tight with plier inside. When they gave the car, I could see the hood lining partially open on one side of the hood and also sign on the dashboard that the hood is open. After few weeks, the car belly cover under the car came loose where the oil change is done and it was dragging on the floor while driving. Very bad work and painful to go through the car issues post the oil change. Not going to visit this place again. I had a good experience in a different firestone near by for the same oil change

Thanks. But no thanks. Got an apointment for basic inspection at 4pm. Walked in 2 minutes before 4pm.It is 5pm now and the lady at the counter just told me, it is going to be another 10 to 20 minutes.A basic inspection does not take more than 10 minutes. Not sure what is taking them more than an hour. Dont understand what the point was for booking ahead of time.Ridiculous service. Thanks for wasting my time.If you value your time, dont waste it at this facility.An hour and 20 minutes later:The manager has passed the inspection on paper. While handing out the paper work. Guy named spitz says he had to fail the inspection technically since my fog light was out. Not sure how it them 80 minutes to NOT fail my inspection.I guess will find some other neighborhood autocare spot.

Very pleased with my experience. The sales associate was very friendly (I think his name was Scott). I went in for an oil change and was told it would be about 2-3 hours due to the amount of cars they had in the shop, but was pleasantly surprised when they told me they finished after 30 minutes. Service was excellent and quick! I will be returning!

Worst experience. Charging $10 for car inspection that covers everything. After the service the tire pressure was not checked, windshield water was not checked, coolant was not checked and the main oil changed was not checked as after 2 days when I went again the person tells me you can drive 100 miles more and when I asked to check the level he told me its 3000 miles past and its your responsibility to keep in mind for oil change. So whats the reason to waste 10$ was car inspection. Making fool. Worst staff at this location.

We drove over a big gnarly bolt that got stuck in our tire, and we drove to this shop in a panic, arriving about an hour before closing. Jerry was able to get us in at the last minute, and after much effort discovered that the tire needed to be replaced. Luckily for us, they had three new lug nuts for our car and were able to put a new tire on right away. Jerry and the crew were honest, friendly, and willing to help us get out of a jam. They truly saved our butts, and I cant recommend them highly enough.

Was recommended to pay $200 for the lifetime alignment. Well my alignment wasn’t fixed and neither was my issue. Took it to my mechanic and he found stabilizer links ripped off and they couldn’t tell me what was wrong with the rear end alignment.I spent $200 for nothing. My mechanic said that the alignment was still off and that they didn’t tell me what was broken. I want my money back!!

Called I had to make an appointment. I was greeted professionally service order was written up Timely and a proper estimate of how long I had to wait was given to me. Ive used this location several times and Ive always received excellent service.

I had a flat..they. checked my other tires and suggested I get new ones.. they did the work same day. I was pleased with the service.

Went to see if they could help with getting my wheels balanced and the guy seemed like he didn’t want to help. I had my wheels balance by another tire company and my steering wheel shakes at certain mph. Guy claimed all tire companies have the same balancer and that it would be pointless and the same results. Didn’t even offer to take a look at it. This place is a joke, you’re supposed to want business not push it away.

Not only did they try to scam me out of $900 for services I didnt need, but they charged my firestone credit card TWICE for services that I did not get on my vehicle. Apparently they had MY credit card attached to someone elses account!! Unacceptable. A total of $1300 in charges that were not mine!! I will never be going to Firestone for service again.

Excellent service! We had a flat and were in desperate need of a repair. They fit us in (which was amazing given the weather these last few days) and even though the tire was too damaged to salvage they found a suitable replacement and got us up and running very quickly.

I have brought my car here for a number of years, for things other than those I only trust to the dealer. They have always done a good job and I have never experienced the issues mentioned in some of the other reviews. Ive used them for new tires (of course), oil and filter changes, and other work needed.The only issue Ive had with them, which they resolved, was after I had to replace two tires last year. When the car was returned they did not return the donut (spare) to its place. I drove around with it in my trunk, which I dont often use, for several months.Early this month (2/2018) an engine cover of some sort dropped below the car and was dragging on the street. I work within a mile of this Firestone and dropped it off on my way to work. At the same time, my front tires were basically bald so I asked them to replace them if needed. At the time, and I was not aware, there was a coupon for $100 off if you exceeded $500 in repairs. The total came to just over $500 so they applied the coupon even though I didnt know about it. I walked to my office and the car was ready long before I left for the day. As noted above, they also put the donut away.While I think there are things I would not trust them to do, this Firestone has always done good work and charged fairly. Im not sure what else one would ask for auto repair.

Very courteous service! They inspected our vehicle, explained the issues they found. Recommended repairs, explained the work that would be done, the cost of parts, time and the charges, gave us an estimate upfront. Then ordered the parts for us, did an excellent job repairing our vehicle and called us as soon as the work was completed.We highly recommend them!

Went to get my tire fixed on an obviously repairable tire. They said no problem it’s 30$. Get a call a couple hours later saying they can’t fix it. I asked why and was told there is damage to the side wall. But they could conveniently replace for me with one of their in stock, similar tires. I was confused as the hole was obviously not in the side wall. I pulled the piece out that was causing the leak near the tread. I was told they could waive the disposal fee if I went with one of their tires and leave mine with them.... Go to pick up my now useless tire and there is a much more obvious mark that through the tread, not the side wall. Very unethical, but no way to prove what happened at this point. Will not be returning. Unfortunate because my previous firestone location was great and didn’t take all customers for idiots. People still know how to work on cars and identify their own issues. Shame on them for trading to take advantage.

Not very helpful. Had to wait three days to get my car serviced. You would think with Firestone providing more hours that I would be able to get in sooner. Sounds like poor management.

I came in to do a wheel alignment. They told me there was a 2-3 day wait before they could touch my vehicle. OK, fine; Ill make an appointment.The technician working on my vehicle was apparently their Master Technician, and the best they had. It took him about 15 minutes to do my alignment, OK great... so then I drove the car, and realized something was not right.They After leaving Firestone, the car was pulling horribly to the right. I know this is not due to my tires since I put them on 1 week before I got my alignment done.I immediately turned around and went back to the location. The manager said their master technician refused to work on my vehicle, and he already did all he can do. Really? A proper alignment usually takes at least an hour to complete. Why was there a 2-3 day wait for a 15 minute alignment that was done completely improperly. They also said they cannot help me with a refund.Thanks Firestone. I definitely wont be recommending this location.

Extra fees and high markups on parts. They charged $26 diagnostic fee to tell me what I told them was wrong (which they eventually waived with enough haranguing, all the previous shops Ive used waived that if they did the repairs). Then the price of the part was 4 times the price available at the local parts a couple blocks away, which I brought them. I was told they will not install customer provided parts. I suggest they meet competitive prices... not negotiable. :( We ultimately settled on a lesser cost part that was only 50% higher. The people are very nice (hence the two stars and not one) but not able to provide services at a fair price. Sorry, but I am going to have to find a shop that will work with me on parts.

Cant say enough good things about these guys. I had some sudden car trouble at an inopportune time (as if theres ever a good time for car trouble), and Kevin Murphy and the others really went above and beyond to do a total clutch replacement and a few related fixes on a SATURDAY with no advance notice. They totally saved my weekend trip. They were polite, professional, and did great work at a fair price. Mr. Murphy even gave me his personal cell number to make things more convenient for me during the inspection and repair process. Really great service.

Just OK. People are not nice here. I stopped to get the air checked in my tires. When I told them what I was there for, he said give me a couple minutes. I said fine, where do you want me to park the car. He then said, irritated, just give me TWO minutes!After, he said they were not low and made it sound like it was a waste if his time. I said, the sensor came on so I thought I should get it checked. Then he tells me I have a nail in my tire.Glad they checked it, but wow customer service really lacks.

Will charge you for services that they will not do. Also will give you recommendations for services you don’t need. These are all verified by other reputable mechanics. Avoid at all costs. Also, some of these five star “reviews” have only one review. Be very very skeptical of these con artists.

Excellent staff. Theyve bailed me out of a few car troubles before but tonight they got me home safely. I tried to put air in my tires, but it wasnt keeping for some reason. For reference, its the eve of the HORRIBLE 2019 cold were expecting. So, I took my car there to see if they could help and Vince (I believe that was his name) had me pull my car into the work area, checked my tires, AND filled them for no charge.Thank you all so much. Especially to Vince, who was helping three other people at the same time.

This is truly a professional shop ! Oil change, tires rotated...reasonable prices and super polite folks. My mechanic John Moussa was amazing and explained everything my car needed ...very professional services! And quick in and out! Make an appointment!

They just take too long. Sometimes they try to make you pay for things you dont need but not all the time. For a simple oil change it may take about 3 to 4 hours. This place is too busy find another firestone. Think i went here only 5 times but they take way too long for a simple oil change.

Pathetic customer service. Guys there are with specific attitude and not customer friendly. They make you buy the lifetime warranties, but next visit shows attitude. Really these guys should learn how to greet and work with customers. Also second visit onwards, expect oil change price to be peak high. $70 for full synthetic oil change. Wow great, you are killing your customers.

I really love coming to this place. They always do such a good job on my car. I really like Chris, he is really honest and trying his best to make the customers happy. You can really see that he loves what he is doing. I came with alignment problem and he made it straight as an arrow. Chris is no 1ask for him...

Scam Warning !!!!!! Out of town driver. Woke up to find a flat tire at a hotel near this place. Went over and was told that I needed over $600.00 additional work on my front wheel. The weird thing was that I felt that the whole place was ready to make this argument. They had pics on their phone ready to go, and I still insisted on seeing the car. It didnt look like much but they planted this idea that it was unsafe to drive. Strangely I just had this tire worked on not two weeks prior (It turned out the first guys didnt tighten a screw and it ruined my boot on the axle, had it fixed by my hometown mechanic for $150.00 not over $600.00 Like this place wanted to charge me) . I also felt something was not right cause they kept pushing this financing, and not that it was a safety risk.I initially said yes but as I started to walk back to the hotel decided I didnt feel comfortable about the whole thing and called them back. They said they might of started the work and it might be too late to change. Ah, they just told me that had to order parts not 5 minutes ago and that the whole thing would take 6- 9 hours later, and magically when I ran back to the place the van wasnt even on the lift anymore.They charged me for 2 new tires and I left. They guy bringing the van turned around the building was driving pretty fast considering I was supposed to have a dangerous problem with the front tire. He told me on the phone it was loose and wobbly and I have not noticed any of this. I drove it back to Wisconsin and had my local mechanic look at it and he couldnt see anything. I have even driven it to Minneapolis and other locations with no indication of any problem. I now believe the manager Jerry was hitting me up for extra cash cause they saw a out of state license plate. I also wonder if they did damage to my vehicle to make it look like it needed repairs. Stay away. run away as fast as you can!!!!I feel there is a lot of fake positive reviews to buffer their rating. Also they post comments after complaints on other sites like contact our complaints office and we will make it up to you or something like that and then they never respond.

Was out of town Memorial Day weekend called got me right in price was a little high but fixed all problems and back safely driving👍🏿👍🏿 for being open on a holiday weekend and on holiday!!

Leaking oil after oil change worst place ever

I was traveling from very far and I want make diagnosis to make sure I able travel more and they say we dont have time now please bring later.......

Need a tire patched. Came in 2 hours before closing. Two guys saw me walk in, one rolled his eyes, and they turned around and walked away. The guy who greeted me wasnt listening and kept asking me questions even though I had just said the information. He wasnt good at communicating and couldnt make complete sentences; it was like pulling teeth trying to get him to answer a yes or no question. Because one guy was before me and they were closing in 2 hours, they couldnt patch my tire...

During my drive home from work I noticed my tpms sensor came on - my rear tire was low and Firestone Woodfield is my number one choice for my car repairs. I have experienced great service from store manager Javier and his team in the past. I called them up and explained what was going on - the team immediately requested for me to take the car to check what was going on. Once there Jerry and Buck provided great customer service to confirm I had brought my car to the right place. They checked my tires and the tech Jon came out to explained what had happened with my tire. A couple minutes later I was on my way home! Overall great experience - I highly recommend taking your vehicle to Firestone Woodfield!

I went in for an oil change and tire rotation. I took a picture of the driver side rear wheel because it was easily identifiable from the others with some curb rash. I also took a picture of the passenger front which had one of the sticky weight right by the valve stem, and the others did not. When I went to pick the car up, both wheels were in the same location. I explained this to the guy at the counter, but he insisted they were rotated. however, dated and time stamped photos prove otherwise. I told him they were definitely not rotated, but didnt argue much because I could see it was going no where. Additionally, I did not want these dishonest people spending another minute working on my car. The service oil light had been reset, but who know if they even changed the oil. I will never be going back to this place again.

I didnt know if they could assist, to my great surprise they not only were able to fix the issue and get me back in my car, they were able to do it that same morning! I went for my car battery change..I got an online quote for $20 discount. Good place..Waited around 1 and half hour. No bad incidents with me..

Purchased a new battery a month ago and it died after being out of town for 2 weeks. I had to leave the car overnight for them to recharge it because they werent willing to give me a new battery, well under warranty. I checked the alternator prior and said they had to check it. Charged me $25 for their mistakes. BS. Never visiting a big chain like this again.

Ive been going there for years and feel is past time to review them. I already get good service and most recent encounter was no different. I came in with no appointment and the manager Kevin Murphy was more than accomodating. I had some suspension work done by the lead mechanic Jon jr. He explained exactly was was needed and got it done properly in a reasonable time. They even put it on the alignment rack and then told me it did NOT need an alignment, saving me $100! How many shops do that?

I went in for an inspection on my car and now I have to pay for a car wash. The person that did the inspection had NO respect for my car at all, theres grease marks all over the sides and the hood. I guess I should look under the hood to see whats messed up there. Im not happy with the back of the house! The person I worked with up front was nice and helpful but I wont be doing business again with a place that has no respect for the vehicles that come into their shop!They have my name on record so well see if they see this and contact me about it. I wish I noticed all this before I pulled away!

Great service and nice waiting area....

Ample room to squeeze you in but lesser driven makes beware.I recently stopped by after inquiring as to if I would be able to get in for an oil change around closing and was told it wouldnt be an issue. The access is from the mall side so it isnt to difficult to get to or find as it is visible from Golf Rd. Parking is quite ample and the lobby is moderately comfortable with a decent size tv to watch while you wait. They staff us fairly accommodating and they seem professional. The bad as I can tell is that their database of vehicles is sorely lacking when is comes to lesser driven makes i.e. Saab, Alfa Romeo and other less known makes. They were unable to even do an oil change due to not having my vehicle in the system as well as not having the oil it takes in stock. The staff isnt at fault due to this oversight but you cant help but feel frustrated. I hope this isnt indicative of Firestone in general.

Tried to make me buy new tires for 4.5 hours. refused to patch up my tire because i used fix a flat. 2 mechanics i spoke to confirmed they were trying to con me. took it to another place, cleaned out the fix a flat and patched my tire up in 20 mins. take it anywhere else. AVOID THIS PLACE. places like this is why people think mechanics are dishonest

Love this place! Free keurig coffee and water bottles. Right across the street from Woodfield Mall so theres plenty to do. The manager was super nice and friendly. We just went to IKEA for an hour while they changed my tires. Great experience!

Its not the cheapest place but nice and quick

Before winter I swapped regular all seasons tires to winter tires at this location, after while I got TPMS light. I went to Honda dealer, I figured since that car is still under warranty I wanted to resolve problem for free. Dealer after inspection sad the pressure sensors ( two of those) were installed wrong, and car has aftermarket tires on it, and they will not fix this for free . I decided to go back to firestone to give them a chance to resolve problem. First what they did after inspection, they told me one of the sensors is broken and lost parts, and Honda must have done this during their inspection, and this is not their problem.New sensors cost me money!!! Stay away people from here!!

I came here because my brake pedal was stiff. I left with no brakes. I had it towed to a reputable shop and found out they had disconnected the brake pedal from the brake booster and tried to give it back to me because they couldnt fix it. Ironically I was 400 miles from home on a business trip....Stay away. Far away.
