Drove vehicle in for complete oil change and AFTER tech removed air filter, car would not stay running. Got my car to rear of the building where it had to be towed to mechanic. After a $650+ repair bill and tow, mechanic found air filter sensor damaged.Jiffy lube DENIES causing it even tho we witnessed tech struggling to remove filter!Drove in running perfectly; towed out of their shop! Beware!!Thank you for responding, however you have copies of our repair bills and our phone number.

Great service. Guys did a good job with installing new brakes and rotors with an oil change. Didnt wait that long either: roughly 45min for the whole job

Awesome experience! They dont just change oil. I literally felt like part of the family. I got my car out of storage and took it to get an oil change knowing that the battery might not hold a charge. Ricardo was awesome. He went down the street, grabbed me a new one, brought it back, and installed it for me right then and there. They could have just jumped started it and sent me on my way, but they didnt and I didnt have to worry if I was going to break down after I left. So I brought my truck in next because of the exceptional service and they remembered me. Once again when I drove away, I had the feeling they cared about me so I know they cared about my car. Highly recommend and not just for oil changes.

It was expensive for an oil change with the synthetic oil my car requires & I needed a new air filter but they do such quick work I was impressed!

I went in for an oil change. They said they found a MAJOR oil leak. I said that is strange since I see no oil on the ground when I park for long periods of time. But they said they could fix it in a half an hour. An hour and twenty minutes later my car was finished but they said there was another oil leak they couldnt fix and I would have to go to another shop to get it fixed. Two hours after I left, my check engine light came on and it was not on before I went in for an oil change.

I have been to this place a couple times now. I keep going back because some of the greatest, most honest people work there. They really care about the customer. They work with you on pricing as best as they can, and they’re very informative. By far the best mechanics I’ve met. And believe me, with my driving, I’ve met a lot.

Bought tires here for the first time. Small issue with one, and they sorted it out quickly with no cost to me. Good place!

Terrible service. I was there Saturday, and it was very busy. But they took my car and moved it behind the far bay, where there was a car up on the lift. After about 45 minutes I asked about it and was suddenly told youre next. They then moved my car in and it took another 45 minutes...just for an oil change! And the tires needed air according to my readout. When they pulled the car out, I asked if they had checked the air pressure. Was assured yes. Pulled away and found that they were still low. No change from before. When I looked at my receipt, it said 35 lbs in the front and 46 lbs in the back. What????And the sticker said next change due at 128,000 miles (car has just over 20,000 miles on it) and receipt said next change due at 58,000 miles.Worst of all, no urgency.Place was busy and they wander around and talk to each other, and eventually try and come and up sell the customers on stuff they dont need.Stay away, its a clown show.

Place used to be my go to place. i called today for pricing if i brought my own oil and filter and Alfredo said $33. That doesnt make sense? i would think $33 is for a regular oil change with them providing oil and filter.

I have been going to this specific Jiffy Lube for a couple of years now. I moved away from the area two years ago, and although I have another Jiffy Lube right near me, I still prefer to drive all the way up to this one because of the employees. I never leave wondering if the repairs are done correctly or not. Never had a bad experience and never have to wait for service long enough. This is a well managed location!

This is the best Jiffy Lube I have ever been to. They have outstanding customer service and they are truthful about the needs of your car. They are efficient and give great service in a timely manner. I actually go out of my way just to go to this location. I have not had great service in other locations but this one on Golf Rd in Schaumburg is great!

My first time experience here was great. They got me in and out with an oil change and great service. Unfortunately, my second experience ruined it for me. They told me they would change my oil, rotate my tires, and check my break pads. After waiting for half an hour, they went ring me up for the oil change and tire rotation. I did not see them rotate my tires, so i questioned it. They told me they forgot and would do it immediately (but still seemed to remember to charge my for it). I told them never mind, and just to charge me for the oil change. When i got back in my car, the oil change notification was still on, making me question whether they did that either. To top it off, they told me that my breaks looked great after they did the “free break test”. My break pads were completely gone and began to grind the day after I left jiffy lube. I would not recommend this jiffy lube to anyone. Find literally anywhere else to go in Schaumburg.

The staff here is AMAZING! Loved those guys. But, not so happy about the work on my car. I came in for an oil change before a cross country trip and they recommended 2 new tires, new wipers (before I bought the ones they had they tried to install the ones I had previously bought for my car. Turns out they were the wrong size but I appreciated that!), filter changes, etc. Since I was about to be going across country and back, I went ahead and did all the recommendations they presented to me. I drove off the lot and my car felt WRONG. I kept driving because I thought the shaking may stop but it didnt. It felt like my axle was loose. I called them and drove it right back to the shop. They said it was because they put the two new tires in the back, and switched the two old back tires to the front. They switched them back and the shaking was pretty much gone, but not 100%. I would have given 4 stars if that was the only problem, but the morning we left to drive across country the tire pressure light came on. Turns out, one of the new tires already has a slow leak. Very very very annoying as this is a 2014 VW Jetta, and I havent had problems with tire pressure until now... and the tires are supposed to be new... Cant go back to the shop now as we are in WA state. Would love some kind of a refund for all this trouble because at this point I would have rather spent $500-$550 somewhere else.

After 15 years of going to the same oil change place for over 15 years I have decided to start going to this Jiffy Lube. Jose and Anthony are very thorough, very well detailed, left my car in excellent condition. They even cleaned my windows and vacuumed my car out and gave extra special service. I am very happy with their service

Complete lack of communication. Technicians do not discuss what tires are being put on your car and lack the ability to align them. Oil change here may work out but be prepared to stay on the technicians to get feedback on time needed to complete the job.

I usually dont write reviews. I went to this location to swap tires and rims. When I drove off a friend of mine who was driving behind me told me that rear tires are shaking. Took it back to the location. There was one car in front of me, so the guy who works there told me to wait a little bit. After waiting about 40 minutes the other guy came out and told me that Ill need to wait for about 2 hours before they can take a look at my car. Poor customer service. Why to make me wait 40 minutes just to let me know that I have to wait another 40? Went to another mechanic who told me that the bolt pattern of the rim doesnt match to my car and its dangerous to drive. Like seriously? Why to install rims that are dont match instead of telling me that?? What if that tire would come off while driving? Also was quoted $50 for the work, but was charged $80. Anyways horrible experience.

Last minute, had to bring the car in for an oil change. Experienced great customer service as soon as they answered the phone and throughout their service. They were very efficient. Management should have these guys train more technicians!!!

Quik, polite service. Dont try to sell you services unless needed. Today told I needed a bulb, told them to fix it; @ check-out told lite was working so no added charges. Vacuumed inside and washed windows inside & out. Nice staff too

Pretty good service, they also found I had a dirty cabin air filter and burned out headlight. Couldnt afford it at the time, so they werent pushy about it. Although now I have to limit my driving during the day and holding my breath when Im in the car. Not ideal, but better than walking, because walking is for commies.

I dont live around the store but I will be going back to the store in the future. Anthony the manager ran things smoothly and always there to check on his guys!!

My family has been going to this location for a long time for oil change. Their oil change service is very very good but I recommend dont get any mechanical work done there. My check engine light went on so I went to them, whatever they recommended I got it done from there. First of all they charged me more than the estimate then after 2 weeks the engine light went on again.I went back to jiffy lube they checked and tried to figure out the problem for more than an hour but in the end they came up with a stupid excuse and said the light will not go off. I believe the mechanics are unexperienced and they google to fix problems. I am very dissapointed and frusterated with them. Now I have to go to a real mechanic. No more oil change at this location.

Shouldnt deserve even single star.They behave wired . They could not fix my car, they change caliper which was not required . Problem was in the muster cylinder .Refused to take back the caliper, told me return to parts shop. When I went to parts shop the person doesnt want to listen to me.And the jiffy Lube person also refuse to helping out .Such a rude people .

Went in to this Jiffy Lube location (Jiffy Lube, 801 W Golf Rd, Schaumburg, IL 60194--store #2510) last Thursday for an oil change. While I was there they sold me on an Engine Flush to go along with the oil change. I agreed to have both done. Less than a week went by and my oil light came back on again. Stopped back by and they told me they put in 2 more quartz of oil and it wasnt recognizing the oil level on the car computer gauge. They said that I had a bad sensor and would need to drain ALL the oil because they had added too much. I waited for them to drain the oil. They started up the car and smoke bellowed out the back exhaust and filled up the shop. This had never EVER happened before. They drove the car out of the shop and informed me there would be smoke until the excess oil burned off. I drove the car approximately 1/2 mile down the road.....the entire time I was driving a ton smoke was coming out my exhaust to the point that the cars behind me (all 3 lanes) had to slow down to because they couldnt see due to the smoke. Within seconds my car completely shut down and when I came to a stop would not turn over. My engine had seized up. Had to call a tow truck and had my car delivered to the Audi dealership where the service techs diagnosed the car. I discussed the situation with the service manager and 3 service technicians and they all came to the conclusion that there was way too much oil in my car and they (Jiffy Lube) had not drained enough or put too much oil back in causing my engine to seize. I called the manager of Jiffy Lube who denied any and all responsibility in this matter and talked over me and actually was raising his voice...border line yelling at me. I would never..never...take my vehicle to this location. I have contacted a lawyer and now in the process of having to take them to claims court because my car needs a whole new engine.

Lied that they topped off my oil - twice! Dangerous fraud. Cant understand how much they saved for risking ruining my engine. Please double check the dipstick immediately after the supposed top-off if you dont want a ceased engine. Unbelievable!!!! Shame! Shame! Shame!

Only thing keeping this place running are the employees all are good employees, besides that workin for this owner, is no good. Besides that the EMPLOYEES ARE THE BEST .I am surprised these guys are still there.

Sorry Frank, but even new technicians should know better to put a new oil sticker in the car. Also next time ask before ripping through someones glovebox. ASK.. just to show me a filter, that I didnt need to replaced.. my glovebox was a mess, everything was thrown back in... it was organized prior. Please ask before going into thing that arent necessary. And price... 63$ here @Firestone would have been 45$ this was my mistake..

Pay. I expected the worst here. I used to be a mechanic and an automotive repair warranty examiner but Im 56 now and Id rather not spend an afternoon under the vehicle anymore. That said I waited for the upsell and fear of imminent disaster if I didnt purchase all their up sells. I was pleasantly dissapointed with expectation as Anthony didnt upsell me anything but the oil change and wiper blades I requested. He showed me the air filter which was dusty and said it could wait till next time. I was impressed. I will be back for additional maintenance. Fast. Professional and Clean.

Bad today!Last month got transmission, differentials and coolant changed running into a bill of $280. Engine oil change was due, visited the store for the same, synthetic oil as always.1. Earlier they used to open sealed bottles of synthetic oil and this time it was poured out of a unlabeled can, creating a doubt in my mind if the oil dispensed was the high grade Platinumsynthetic oil that I paid for.2. Though the store has my contact info/ address on file, they did not send me the discount coupons, resulting in payment of about $100 for the engine oil change.On bringing it to the attention of manager that I did not get any coupons though the store had my contact info, he was adamant, stoic and most unrelenting saying that it is not our department but the corporate who should send it to you.He could have pointed out to the online $10 discount coupon for synthetic oil change but didnt.Being a loyal customer for about a year and a half at the same store, this is my last visit to the Jiffy Lube henceforth, I will be going to some other brand for my future requirements.

Terrible customer service. They didnt listen to me at all when i said my car was oil leaking twice. They just poored new oil in and told me to take it to a mechanic. It was only at the very end they told me they dont fix oil leaks even though over the phone and on the lot, they told me they did. The district manager didnt care that his people neglected to tell me this key peice of information. Spend the extra money and go to pep boys on barrington.
