The first time i came the older lady told me she wasn’t able to help me at that moment that i need it to call and make an appointment and she gave me a business card.I came back for my “appointment” in a different dayAnd she said that the other lady who was going to take care of me wasn’t available and that she was booked for the day( there was no body in the salon when i walked in)I left very upsetRandomly i came-back a different day and there was different nice and younger lady she helped me to get may eyebrows done and gave me a consultationI asked her is it was necessary to make appointments she it’s recommended but not always necessary depending on how busy they are. She was a lot nicer andMade me want to comeback WITH HERI cameback and unfortunate there is this lady again… i asked her if i could get my eyebrows doneAnd she simply said “not today”She doesn’t even offer the opportunity to wait.She doesn’t greets me when i walked in and has a rude way to talkI won’t comeback to this placeThe salon is nice and if you comeLet the young lady take care of you she is amazingBut the other is not very professional.

I always leave Cove Hair Salon with an amazing haircut and color. I was pleased with their COVID restrictions and felt very safe and comfortable. The ladies are so kind and accommodating, and always pleasant. I would highly recommend any one of the hair stylists to a friend or family member!!!

Everyone here treats you like youre a part of the Cove family. The owner is super friendly and outgoing.I have been going to Kelsey for almost 3 years and coming here was the best move ever. Kelsey listens to what I want and my concerns etc. and she always executes. She makes me feel like a I am more than a paying customer..more like a part of the Cove family and that means alot. She is super personable and someone I can rely on to do an excellent job.

I would like to share and promote my experience with Cove Salon and specifically Erin. I had a wedding which was out of state for me. Cove accommodated my schedule, did a wonderful job on my hair and did my makeup. I felt like a princess all evening. They are kind, listen to your wants and the end result was awesome. This is a great Salon. Kelsey did my hair and my sisters hair for my wedding and it turned out amazing. Definitely would recommend the girls at this place!! Plus I am a cosmetologist so I know what Im looking for when I get my hair done.

Had a very pleasant experience today, March 13, 2014 at the Cove Hair Salon. Christina the stylist had a real challenge with me. I had not cut my hair in 10 years. It was salt and pepper colored, kinky and long. Christina cut it in an asymmetrical layered style and we colored it a beige blonde. It turned out great. I am going back next Saturday to get highlights! Thank you, Christina all you did!

I had a great experience here. Great prices and you get what you pay for, plan and simple. I received one of the best hair cuts Ive ever had and will definitely be returning!

March 23, 2012I was so impressed!! Cove Hair Salon in Schaumburg is the best salon in town! I felt very comfortable.I was referred by a family member, and was very glad I was! Dodie is so professional and welcoming. I am very picky and she treated me with patience, kindness, and understanding! I was so pleased with my results! I think I am going to go down the list of services and try them all! I send all my family and friends there now! Great job!

Erin did an amazing job on my balayage hair style. I have extremely dark hair and she was able to make the light brown color look very natural. She is also very personable. I highly recommend her!

I hate when salons charge $40-$50 bucks just for a trim. The cove is affordable and everyone there is super friendly! I recommend Kelsey :)

I have been going to Erin for just about a 2 years. She is amazing, and has given me the best haircuts, as well as tips for taking care of my hair. She is the best, I dont trust anyone else.

About a year ago my hair was cut my a stylist who was in biz for 30 years and terribly botched. I was almost in tears, I drove from Cheyenne and went to the COVE immediately. Dodie understood my frustration, whipped out a scissors and got to work, and did not even charge me the full amount because she ended up styling it to make sure it was done correctly. I hadnt wanted the styling just a fix, but she did it anyway for me. What a sweetheart! I will return again, because these ladies know what they are doing here!

My wife went in for a long layered stacked bob. She has curly hair and so if too short looks weird. Erin chopped it so short leaving long sides and now my wife has a haircut that makes her look like a soup bowl from the 1920s. She definitely looks over 45 instead of 30 and trendy. I have to say $47 later, what a waste. It looks hacked and unprofessional.

Ive been coming to Cove Hair Salon for about 3 years now, yet have never left a review before! Initially, I came in because of a Groupon, but Ive kept coming because Kelsey is so great! She consistently does a great job on my hair (usually going blonder), but tonight she introduced me to Balayage treatment, and when I went home and straighted my hair I was SO happy with how it turned out!! The color integration is so subtle and beautiful! Seriously could not be happier.

Im from out of town here om businesses and although I recommend appointments, I was a quick walk in. Even though it was busy, they found time for me immediately and were curteous, professional and helped me decide the cut and style I was looking for. Definitely a great impression and would recommend to anyone

Kelsey is a life savor! She fixed a bad haircut for me and thinned my hair because its so thick. A lot of stylists wont do that. I get so many compliments on my hair.

Did not get the services I paid for and asked for. Was told I would need to pay MORE to fix THEIR mistakes. Then when I posted my honest review of my experience on their Facebook page, two male family members of the employees harassed me about it! I am not the only person to have issues with this salon, just read all of their bad reviews on Yelp and Groupon! Seems to be a pattern with being a client using a groupon and having Erin do your hair

I purchased the Groupon deal of 79.99 for a full highlites plus other services. The issue was with the highlites. Long story short, I had red in my hair and went in to get a full head of color and over it I wanted the highlites. I called and set an appointment explaining to woman that I wanted these services plus I had the Groupon. She set it up and explained it would be an additional 60 for the full color on top of the Groupon for highlites. I arrived and she told me my hair was in need of a color correction and the only way she can get rid of red hair was to dye it black! Not sure why black if I’m trying to go lighter but I trusted her. I left that salon paying 130 dollars and all I got was a head of black hair. I am now at another salon (Mario tricocci) and they told me I should have been bleached not dyed black and never dye hair black when trying to go darker! I am so angry I was charged 130 to dye my hair black and I have to spend more money to correct this but writing a review would keep me from going to jail! Stay away Erin has no idea what she’s doing! I will be sharing my experience elsewhere also. -Andrea
