I used to love Zara. But havent bought into their fashion in recent years. The store is large and spacious so easy to shop, but my last two visits the line for the fitting rooms was very long. I still hope this brand will improve so I can keep finding key, European style items for my closet at painless prices.
This Zara is a lot better than the downtown one. It’s not a mess in here and there’s a lot of options. Been to different Zara’s in different cities and usually it’s always messy and busy, but I came here early hoping to avoid traffic. There’s always a line to checkout. Customer service could be better

I wanted to reach my local store to ask a question before driving so the way there, but when I called, the # takes you to a general # for so stores and tells you to call yet another # for customer service. I could barely understand what the lady was saying and she told me she couldnt help but could only give the address to the store. I know where the store is! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!
I like that I can get pretty good quality not much expensive.All what I like in one store-oversized, casual, office, night out styles!Kids clothes- one LOVE!!!Very stylish!Prices are little high but there is always chance to shop on sale and get good and affordable price. The store is great but please consider either training employees to check customers out faster or to open a second register when a long line is accumulating. I thought I got lucky when there were only 2 people in front of me but I somehow waited over 20 minutes…. There were OVER 10 people behind me in line but the workers don’t care about the flow and efficiency. The other worker was folding clothing at the register instead of trying to ensure speedy in and out times. This goes for every Zara I’ve been to in the Chicago land area. If you don’t have patience then you’ll learn pretty quickly how to be patient in the check out line!
The employees are so rude and act like your committing a crime for something you didn’t know lol. They act like they’re so bad walking around with stank faces and dress pants. Horrible customer service
I was here on a Friday morning it was not busy and I walked up to one of the employees to ask her a simple question about an item and before I could even get my question out, she cuts me off and says I have to go do something with a straight face and walks away just to go rearrange hangers by the register. Ive honestly never seen a more socially inept group of people working retail. They do not want to interact with customers at all. This location specifically has the worst employees that have absolutely no customer service or social skills.
Went for the sale yesterday and whole time the staff on the floor was complaining about how many customers there were and were apparently upset about having to do what they get paid for. Like dont get me wrong, some people are inconsiderate and make a mess while shopping but its your JOB. It was honestly very uncomfortable to shop while they were continuously making rude comments. Its extremely unprofessional and their comments should have been saved for when they are off the clock. This isnt even the first time I have felt uncomfortable there. People really need to humble themselves and get a new job if its really that unbearable.

This store has very poor customer service and empathy towards their customers. The managers are poorly trained in dealing with customer escalations and have ZERO ability to help their base. I walked in with a purchase I made 2 days prior because there was a hole in the shirt, and the manager with blue hair didnt even bother to ask about the situation or show any ability to empathize. I was told I couldnt return it due to a tag being missing, even though the tag says remove before wash.. I asked for the General manager and she at least said Hi before quickly rushing in to say she would not be able to do anything because once the tag is removed it cant be resold, EVEN THOUGH there is a hole in the shirt which makes it unsellable as is. I requested her supervisors contact information (district or regional manager) and was told they dont assist with customer relations and shes the only manager I can speak with, which I know is not correct and terrible for the front line manager to refuse customer support. They gave me a customer service number and when calling them, they said the store manager can make an exception if need be but clearly the incompetency for customer service at this location is prevelant. I made an executive escalation through the customer service which will take 24-48 hours, when the store manager could have literally just exchanged the shirt and resolved the issue right then and there. Poor management leads to larger hole in the companys pocket and its clear from the rest of the reviews about customer service that this store is in need of restaffing able/competent managers to be able to shift the stores poor culture towards customer satisfaction. If you come to this store bring any and all Zara policy paperwork when dealing with management because they dont know their own policies, instead they create their own just to avoid assisting their customers.

Normally our goto store for the ladies in the family. Zara was having a 70% off sale and the store was overwhelmed by customers. Although we arrived mid afternoon, not much merchandise left. Very long line for checkout. Next time Need to get there early.
The worst customer service that I ever see. But not only on this location, on all location il Chicago, workers are so rude and slow. I use to work for Inditex for 5 years in Europe, and the most important thing that they teach us is that customers are on the first place and to be fast ofcourse. Store wouldn’t allow in person fitting, got home only to realize that the shirt was too big and I had misplaced my receipt then. I couldn’t exchange my the cloth with another so I just return the cloth without any refund the store.

If I could rate zero Stars I would. These people do not know anything about customer service. Every time I have come here I have had nothing but problems. Management does not know how to do their job. I came back with a return because the pants I bought were not practical and I was not able to move in them. I had my receipt and the tags still on the clothes and they refused to put my money back on my card. They would only give me store credit. It was well within the 30 days of my purchase. Im so sick of coming here and having a horrible experience.

Are you guys serious ? Sunday noon,total 3 registers open, 3 cashiers. People are waiting in line for 30-45 minutes. And with this pandemic and closer fitting rooms first you wait in line to buy, then next weekend you wait in the same line to return or exchange. This is insane. Get more cashiers for busy days !
They are limiting capacity in the store, but other than the short wait in line it is just like normal. Lots of stock and everything is organized well.Dressing rooms are closed currently.
Terrible policy!!!! Worker forgot give us original receipt at the register, when we did 1st exchange ( because fitting rooms is still closed ) they gave us just return receipt without original, and after we want do 2nd exchange but for now we have only 1 receipt ( return receipt) So for they policy they can’t do this . It was their coworker fault, that ( he/ she) forgot gave us original receipt and they say we can’t do nothing. “ great customer service Zara”!!!!((((((((((((((( (((We are very disappointed!!!!! The customer service at ZARA is terrible. One person working behind the counter. Line out the door always. Staff clearly does not want to be there due to lack of employees and don’t care about their service. Either pay them more or try harder to find workers because this is ridiculous.

I have no clue why they still keep hiring employees that are rude and with an attitude if they keep getting horrible reviews about it. Every single time I come in to shop (and I come very often), never once have I had good positive shopping experience. Also, in boys section there’s hardly any sizes ever in stock, always have to order online. Very frustrating.
I love Zaras clothing! However, it was very unpleasant shopping at this location. I came across at least 5 employees and was never greeter or offered any assistance. They were having side conversations and at one point I was yelled by one of the employees saying I couldnt try on the clothes. Which I wasnt doing I was just checking if the material stretch.🤦 Even if I was trying it on, she could have handled the situation differently. I am very disappointed.
Terrible waiting a long line to cashier, maintaining social distancing doesn’t mean wait a long lines!!! You should keep at least 3-4 cashiers with different locations in store!!! Definitely won’t recommend and will not come again!!🤬🤬🤬🤬
The employees are wonderful! But Zara, as a corporation, is mistreating the employees that are risking their health and safety to work with the public. Zara is ignoring Illinois regulations as to how their store is supposed to be run during the time of the pandemic. Dont go there unless you want Corona.
I adore Zara and I wanted to share my bad experience with shopping yesterday in this place specifically. Employees were NOT employees at all. They were hostile and looked busy having private conversations between each other. Were NOT paying attention at costumers. When we decided to proceed to register, we were waiting with no people in front of us. We were waiting while employees talked!!! We waited for them to finish their chitchatting. Finally, when we got their attention they said the register is closed and sent us to another register that was open with 1 person working behind. Woman that they were serving had returns and it took like forever to make job done. My friend got frustrated with bad service and demonstratively left things at the register so employees can notice that they are providing bad service. One of the employees saw what happened and opened the register. She handed me what I bought with “ HAVE A BETTER NIGHT.”
Clothing is a bit pricey but good quality and totally fashionable. Perfume is diet reasonable and smells fantastic. Very friendly but make sure to keep your receipt, they do not email it, if you want to return anything.
I have called 4 different times on different days and they NEVER answer the phone.......

Great styles that are great for casual wear and dress wear. Their end of season sales are huge! The only problem I have is that their fit is very European. I always have to get a couple sizes up. I would recommend trying things on and not purchasing online
Horrible shopping experience! The manager Deandra was extremely hostile and does not conduct herself with professionalism when customer conflict arises. I came there with a complaint because one of her employees was extremely rude. Instead of listening, she tried to silence me by calling security. I work in the service industry, when a customer has feedback that is the most important time to listen! Not be defensive. I am a long time customer who loved the store and the location..What a pitiful location with rude employees but unfortunately,It all begins with the management. The manager sets the tone and it’s a shame to see this location be spoiled by a few “bad eggs”

All staff around 10 to 22 dollars, bigI loved this store, here all time good service and good price =))) great choice, mostly spring summer clothes, but there are winter things too. Also a big selling of cool shoes and accessories.

After being in the store for awhile and choosing all the stuff I would like to try on and buy, I was told that the store is closing soon and I was not allowed to use the fitting room and if I wanted to buy something I would have to buy without trying on...Even after I tried to explain to the girl at the register that I live 6 hours away and would not be able to return the stuff that would not fit because I dont have any Zara stores in the area I live, she completely ignored me in a rude way...It looks like they dont care about getting more customers...

Dina is the best manager. She upholds the policy while also offering alternatives for customers who aren’t satisfied, always. Melissa also earned some cool points. Tati too. Whole staff is very kind, helpful, and respecting towards customers.
If I have any Minus Star here, I defiantly give them as there Customer Service is worst, Its just there name people still shopping in Zara otherwise there Customer store on website and in Store are worst. I paced an order for my daughter special occasion Online and that package was lost, I called Delivery Company UDS and they confirmed Package was delivered to wrong address and not able to track back, so contact Zara for Refund or reorder, as they(UDS) already inform them (Zara), when called Zara they just said its under investigation which was going since last 3 days and cant do anything, the Refund even takes 10-14 business days. I bought that dress more than $43 and that amount is on hold. When I asked can we pickup any other dress from curbside instead of shipping as replacement, Zara Customer support says you can just buy another one from website and request for Pickup.So spent another $40+ and get the dress, who have that much money to spent again and again. There customer service is worst than small unknown brands really. No help leave us middle of road. There brand and name is Sucks....I really hate them as they dont leave us any choice other than to use some old dress for my daughter to wear on spacial occasion on coming Saturday :(

I have been there customer since 12 years and this was the first time I went to return something without a receipt and they informed me that I couldnt do that because the policy of returns changed in April which was like 3 months ago... and I told them I was not aware of it and if they could honor me this time. Because I had 3 similar sweaters for my daughter which did not match the dress I had for her. Instead of helping me out the manager was rude and so inconsiderate because he was a young boy. And when I was walking away the manger and the employee said something about me and laughed I had not even walked away yet. And then when i complained to head office they didnt even do anything. Im shocked at Zaras and their customer service. Just plainly horrible. I will make sure I forward this around!PEOPLE NEVER SHOP THERE!!!!!!

I visited Zara at the Wood-field mall location for the first time last week on Saturday. I have to say my experience was pretty negative based on the employees and how they treat customers. The moment you walk into the store no one that works there even acknowledges you which isnt that big of a deal. But, when you have questions or actually would like assistance the workers are standing around doing slim to nothing or texting. I walked back to the fitting room with one of my friends and the girl didnt warmly greet me she immediately said this is for women only you need to leave now. She really needs to watch the wording she uses that could offend some people that may be transitioning. She didnt even look at me or see what I had and was like you go there all rude like. I didnt even bother spending my money at this store after the experience I had there and how they treat paying customers. I dont care if you having a bad day at work or you got called in. That is not my problem. You are there to make the store money. The first step to making money is faking it to make it if you have to and excellent customer service. This store clearly doesnt have that. I was going to go out of my way to find the manager but the person in charge is probably an 18 year old... with no social or leadership skills. Not worth my time and while.
This is the absolute worst store I have ever been to. Not only was the store disgustingly dirty, you couldn’t even walk around because there was so much stuff all over the floors. The employees were just having private conversations the whole time and it was nearly impossible to get anyone’s attention. Finally, after waiting in line for almost an hour ( there was only one register open) the employee was so rude it was almost unbearable. I will never step foot in this location again.
Good quality with reasonable prices
The staff at this Zara store have always been rude. They act if they dont listen to what we are saying/asking and keep doing their work. The persons at the billing counter dont even smile and they give serious looks to people who are standing in the line (I assume they are so sick and tired of doing their work). ZARA please consider removing/replacing the sales man/staff at this store with more customer friendly ones.

Beware, you will not be able to return anything! I brought my return back with a receipt after 2 weeks. Their system was down and manager reassured me I could return after 30days when I come back. I live 30 miles away. I came back to return it and the manager named Dina ( who refused to tell me her name, I had to get it from another employee) at the Schaumburg, IL location told me she could not do it because it was over 30 days! I’m absolutely furious. It was only $40 but I feel they were stolen from me. I will try to dispute it with my credit card and I will never shop at Zara again.
Bought a dress online which didn’t arrive on time. We tried to return it in the store or exchange it for something else. We were told that zaraonline and Zara stores are not the same. What kind of scam is this! I hope someone at the administration reads this and can see how appalling and frustrating it is to a customer. The store employees and manager at the Woodfield were not helpful either. They made it as hard as possible. Customer service is not important for this chain. They hire and train the employees and never have pleasantries and curtesy to the customers as a requirement. No one ever smiles or makes you feel desired as a shopper in the store especially the people at the cash register. They seriously need to pay attention to the customer service and policies more congenial to American retail atmosphere. Visiting this store feels like you are shopping in a rude store in Europe!

Zaras had one of the best clothes out there. The store is very clean and well stocked. I am giving it a 4 star only because i have a son and it is extremely hard to find clothes for him 3t-5t options are very limited. I wish Zaras can stock more clothing for that age for boys

Employees are extremely rude, they lowered the doors and and began closing way before it was even 9pm, also asked a question on a jacket and the the employee didnt even answer the question and said we are closing, then proceeded to yell across the store and and ask if the registers are open. Another employee yelled back of he dosent come here now they wont be. Without even answering my question! Then employee walked away.

I had a very bad experience today,the cashier is such a rude person,she made me feel light abused (her mistake), well being pregnant I felt bad after this situation,but she didn’t even apologize for that,and she didn’t even want to recognize this. Well she called the manager to fix the problem with me,but I never heard anything new,and guess what? she was passing by and laughing behind(that was really miserable),and the manager didn’t react.Again nobody apologizes,and everything remains the same way as it was.
Can you guys please stock L, XL and XXL sizes in your shop? I’ve been here numerous times over the last few months and I’ve only ever seen a large in jackets.
Disastrous customer service, they don’t invest any time in training their staff to speak to customers or observe problems in the store. It seems to be a problem at other stores as well which means the company hires a bunch of kids who sit around talking while the lines are long and they only open one register. Also fitting rooms are closed for some reason so again, lines very long. Maybe spend some time training your staff in customer service Zara! I will be avoiding this store from now on.
Cloths are good when you buy first time. They start loosing color and shin as soon as first laundry.
