Went to check out their clearance sale they were promoting. Store is small, easy to shop and organized well. Prices are in line with what youd expect from high-end thrift. The items i saw were mostly in very good condition; some had piling, so just make sure to take a glance at your items. Employees greeted me and the cashier was very friendly. Their offerings seem a little disjointed though; I saw low end brands like Walmart, out of style pieces etc. They carry up to 3X which is great. Overall, worth a stop!

Stopped in to check the place out got help by an older woman I think named Gerri. She was very nice and helpful and assisted me me to find the perfect gift for my girlfriend. Ill be back because of her (and for the price of the handbag vs retail!! )

Don’t buy from this place! My husband ordered (paid) for a bag for me as a gift and we never received it. When we contacted the store, a month later and asked about our purchase, they said it was lost in mail but they would refund after about two months. ugh! We called back after two months and they did not honor their word. They told us to file a claim with PayPal instead. It’s been over Three months still no refund. Horrible customer service! Almost 4 months no bag, no refund. They lied to us about giving the refund and we have all the correspondence to prove it. Worst online shopping experience ever!

I was in to purchase a handbag and I couldnt have been treated worse by an African American staff member. Im an older person and she made it clear to me I wasnt welcomed. I will come back again but when she isnt there.

Love shopping here. The handbag selection is amazing--tons of designer bags. The staff is friendly and helpful. Im always finding something new each time I visit. The shop is clean and its easy to navigate the racks. I always have a great experience when I come to shop!

This store was my favorite place to shop there was this lady so well dressed she is so so nice she would advise me on what looked good on me. she had glasses and she was there since the store grand opening, but now there’s a different lady That’s so rude, every time I visit the store. At first I thought that she just had a bad day. So after several times I came back she was always rude on Saturdays so I decided to go back on a Monday and it was worst two girls that I have never seen just ignore me, one time I came with some clothes to sell and they just looked at me and never approach me at least to ask me something. They just ignore me and so I went and looked around to see, and when I came back they did not asked me anything I just took the clothes which was mine and left. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE

Everything is organized by color and size and is very tidy. Customer service reps are friendly. Would shop here again for sure. Don’t expect to find anything other than women’s clothing, though, which is fine for me because that was exactly what I was looking for.

I traded in my clothes here & got over 100$ in cash. Although in busy times the staff seemed to rush through some items (I’m pretty sure there was one bin she didn’t even bother to look at). & I could hear them complaining about being at work the whole time, but like, I feel that so I can’t blame them.

Giving them one star is one too many. Do not waste your time trying to sell items here. I brought in several high end designer handbags, some which were used only once and first I was told by the extremely rude girl who called that they were too old and worn. Then I reached out to the owner and asked how is a barely used handbag considered worn? Long story short, I got three different stories from the owner that oh that wasn’t the case it’s because our shelves are full? Seriously? Then I was told oh one ( mind you one of the bags I bought from them and found out It is a fake!) that they couldn’t take it because it’s not a high seller. It was one story after another lol- pathetic! I also informed the owner how rude and unprofessional his employees are. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this shady place.

I walked in here for the first time ever to sell two purses and a wallet. As soon as I entered the store, I was greeted by the friendly staff. The process of selling my items was very quick and easy. I was expecting to be offered a really low, unreasonable amount and to leave with my items and go through the hassle of selling them on eBay, but they purchased my items for a reasonable amount and I was happy.The store is very clean, organized and stocked full with many cute items. Buys gently used clothing and accessories in all sizes of ladies fashions. Dont expect huge funds when selling. They resell at approximately 200% of what they pay seller. They are very selective (think age of item; brand; condition) If they have an abundance of an item they may reject it even if yours is still carrying store price tags. This company caters to the over 21 age group with a small quantity of petite and plus sizes.

Easily one of my new favorite stores! The prices are very reasonable, store in great condition, and is very well organized! Customer service was the best I have had in a while as well!! Will be going back as often as I can!!!Update (6/20/20) I still love the store on the rare occasion that I go now. However, I feel like they switched from caring about clothes/ customer service to caring more about the high name brand purses they can sell. Not a huge deal, just wont be going back anytime soon due to that.

I did not want to write a review, but I find this company very unprofessional. I had a phone interview 3 weeks ago, and was told that Id be contacted with the store managers schedule to set up an interview. That never happened. I tried to contact the person I had interviewed with, and received no response. If youre going to, essentially, promise someone an interview, stick to that. This makes me never want to work there and, honestly, never want to shop there.

Very nice and friendly employees, and if your looking for a quick cheap sale, they are the store. I was completely shocked at what they offered and didn’t take. Totally new to these consignment shops and my advice is to sell on your own, it’s not worth taking all of your items there to be unfolded, gone through, and eventually missing some. That is not what happened with my experience with this company but from what I’ve reviewed online after the fact, I wish I would have done my due diligence before going to a resale shop. Take a quick pic, state a quick but definite description, and you can make way more than any of these stores will offer you. This is a nice store and should be frequented for great deals, I’m just not a fan of selling to them and will never consider resale shops again. I’d rather sell on my own.

I brought in some bags and some shirts. Right away I was told it would take about 20 mins. Decided to wait, look around. The store was clean and very organized. The prices were pretty good too! They do have a ton of stuff! It would help if you plan to visit the place, I suggest you have a particular item in mind. I like that they arrange the clothes by style and color. They didnt take all my stuff, stating that my items were too old. No biggie. If you want to sell your stuff, I suggest dropping them off at store opening. I only gave four stars, a bit disappointed they didnt take all my items.

Took some handbags in that I wanted to sell, was greeted politely but then once I signed into the check in and left my bags, they would tell me it is going to be 24-48 hours because they would have to send pictures to their authentication service that they use for higher end bags. Got a text later saying they were done which was strange because I expected to come in a day later. Got a call saying they couldnt authenticate my AUTHENTIC bags and that they would educate me on authenticating bags. I was appalled. I have been a handbag reseller/authenticator for over 10 years, and I couldnt believe that they 1. Did not send pictures out to get authenticated, and 2. Told me that they couldnt authenticate my bags. Do NOT come here if you want to share the same experience I had. AND I sold to them before with no problem up until recently.

This is not a store you want to shop at and spend your hard earned money in. I live out of state and spent hundreds of dollars on a bag only to receive it and learn that it wasnt the bag that I thought and there was no dust bag included as expected. Ehen I reached out to the manager who is also the owner I was told (in a very placating manner) that the store would only return it at 60% even though Ive had the bag a short time and the tags are still attached. When I pointed out the misrepresentation by omission, I once again received a placating response. I shop at style encore often, but this lack of customer service has turned me into a former customer.

My favorite thrift/resale store! They always have great designer clothes at very low prices. You can tell they really take pride in the items they accept for selling. Nothing ever looks really used/dirty.

The staff went above and beyond when I sold them one of my adult daughters dresses then found out aafew hours later she wanted to keep it. I called a little after they closed, but they picked up the phone and took my info. They then dropped everything, FOUND THE DRESS and set it aside for me. They now have a loyal customer for life.

Loved the place,, went twice,, bought 8 items so far. Prices not very cheap considering the great condition of the clothes and shoes. Definitely would go again to try selling some clothes. Staff are very friendly especially the receptionist with glasses and red hair,, hhhhh sorry dunno her name.

I went there to sell some purses, the lady was so rude said we are full. Ok then stop posting that you want stuff!!! AND I follow on Insragram, they always hold stuff for people. I asked them to hold a dress for me I was completely ignored. Messaged again and oh it sold. Thats really bad customer service, why was I ignored?

They took (at least) 2 DL1961 Jeans($179 each), Tommy Hilfiger booties, and adidas x Stella McCartneys hoodies for $22, while sell a pair of small earrings with missing stones for $8. I only wish I have the patience to sell them individually online. Just giving a price reference for how much they pay you. I came there multiple times and none of their staffs looked at me nicely, maybe because I only sell stuff and never bought anything.

This place appear to be a nice store dust on the racks but clean on the outside I purchased a LV recently that was a mistake not only was it fake.As I left style encore the lady that sold me the Louis Vuitton never full said you can return anytime or do a in-store credit tried to fource a picture of me the knock off.I live so far away by the time I discovered it was a knock offI turned around went back to get my 💰 back.When I arrived the lady who sold it to me gave me a dirty look and slammed the draw then a new lady Lexus told me Id be able to do s store credit only after she discussed my outfit purse with the owner Max over the phone I spoke to the owner we had him on speaker phone,He said he would put my money back on my credit card due to lack of communication I discovered he would keep my LV I paid for and still have not received my refund.I am so disappointed with the owners untruthful policy untruthful words to me I recorded the whole time I was promised my money back and I will not stop until I get it . BBB needs to see the tape.Max thou shall not steal.

Overall still a good place to sell your stuff if you don’t wanna go through the hassle of selling them online by yourself. But be aware what they offer is way too less. I sold a gently used Michael Kors purse (MSRP $180) and a pair of flats I got from Nordstrom, plus few clothing pieces, all I got was $34.

So I went in on this past sunday to sell items. Jen told me it would be about 30 minutes I went first thing in the morning when they opened at 11. She said they will give me a call since there was a new girl in training. I went in about an hour later and THIS WOMAN COULDNT LOCATE MY BAGS ! It made me angry because there was 2 Michael kors handbags in it. When found they havent even processed it; after another hour of waiting they passed on everything. I dont know why most of my items were in good condition and I even had receipts for the bags. She was very rude about the way she approached the situation said my clothes werent stylish and nobody would buy them. I dont know how shes a manager I couldnt imagine how she treats the employees everytime I go in every few months, there is a new employee. I could only imagine it is her that is driving them away. I feel bad for whoever owns the place because these unprofessional employees are driving the business to the ground. This use to be my favorite shopping place but due to be decent but now its outrageous I can go get brand new items for the same price. They had a Gucci bag priced at 700 when I can go buy a brand new one for a few hundred dollars more, it was an old Gucci bag and my Michael kors bag was 2 months old. They said they take styles that have been in the mall for the past year but walking through there store was a joke. Even a 90 year old woman doesnt wear these clothing items. There shouldnt be a reason for a store to have clearance every 2 months because they buy bad things. The ladies that work there are young and immature and you can tell they are a group of children who think they run the store and are above everyone else. I heard them gossiping about my clothes like we are in high school with bullies. I would never recommend this to anybody unless they wanna feel disrespected by young teenage girls. EVEN the older manager will talk with these girls as if the customers cant hear it. My clothes werent as bad as they made it out to be I guess it wasnt their style. This was my first time ever selling to them and I regret ever trying. Every time I go in the employees all seemed nice but I saw their real colors come out. They always told me my outfits were so cute and recommended me to bring clothes in just to shoot me down. I usually dont write reviews but I was so angry by these employees and how I was treated when I was just simply selling clothes. I took them to platos closet since they were right next door. They took a few of my items but some were passed due to it being womens. I highly recommend going to clothes mentor or platos for better service and professional employees. Honestly I wont be surprised if I hear about this location closing in the near future with their employees acting the way they do and how they approach their customers. If I could give it a zero star I would but i cant so be grateful for the one star. Again I feel sorry to the owner of this crappy establishment. Find better employees before the business goes into a ditch that its already heading for.

Like some of the other reviews, I was told by one younger, less than nice employee, that my clothing needs to be more “in style” and nothing was taken. Walked thru store to find same Michael Kors trench coats being sold. Brought back items another day and almost everything was purchased including a beautiful white Gucci coat, that was deemed not good enough the first time. Employee that second day was very happy with items and was disappointed some were not the season they were looking for. She loved all my things. I suspect the first employee never even went thru items. Many were new with tags and all were “in style”. I have extensive experience in fashion buying for major retail, as well as travel to Europe and Asia in my current job, and all items I bring are right on trend, and in excellent condition. It’s almost comical when you walk thru the store and see some of the items they purchased, and walking out with perfectly laundered, expensive designer goods that are basically new.Another recent visit, was told almost they same story by a night time weekend employee. Apparently their understanding of timeless fashion is non existent. For example, a beautiful right on trend Chanel dress was one of many designer items not purchased. It was in perfect condition and purchase 5 months ago, worn once and perfect for the spring into summer season, that she informed me they were currently buying. No defects what so ever., either. Was also told the reason some shoes (European designer)I brought in weren’t purchased, even though they were worn 1 time and still in the box, was some of the toes were too pointy. Problem is, not one pair I bought in had pointy toes. I seriously question the staff in the evenings. I suspect most items aren’t even gone thru. Ironically, neither employee that stated the clothes weren’t current or fashionable enough were dressed in anything more current or fashionable than what you’d expect to find at a Kmart or Sears, similar to Anistasia Steel in the opening scene of 50 Shades of Grey.Go in the mornings during the week when far more knowledgeable staff are working, including a manager I have spoken with after they purchasedmost of my items after being turned away the first time.And was also told by manager that Wings takes dontations for battered women, and is around the corner and about 1/2 away on Golf Rd. A great place for donations.Also, Clothes Mentor is just a block away.

Not a lot of selection and with selling, they said it was going to take 40 minutes when it took over 2 hours. Do not say that if you know it’s going to take long. Not the nicest people either. Back to Plato’s closet!

Dropped off some clothes to sell. Girl told me it would be about 30 minutes and would call when she was done. An hour and a half later i came back (without a phone call) and no one had processed my stuff yet! There was only one older woman at the regiter who ignored me for 10 minutes while i waited to be helped. A younger girl then went through my clothes. They passes up on brand new sweaters with the tags still on! After seeing some of the garbage hanging on the racks i will never be back.

They rejected a lot of my things which sucks, never offered as much as I much as I wanted either. They things they sell are overpriced for used items and not that nice especially when you take into account what they rejected from me. Just get new from Burlington or TJMax for THE SAME prices. They took much longer than they told me to look at my stuff and never notified me my stuff was ready like they said they would. they were nice enough to let me in to claim my rejects after closing. Will never be back, though. I would be surprised if they will be in business in a year based on the way they buy/ sell.

The staff is always nice. They always help you quickly find a fitting room if need. I always look over the clothes real good but everything I bought was almost like brand new. It’s my new favorite store. I don’t my mind coming from Naperville but you might want to open one there too. They usually have good promotions. Pictured is what I got the first time I was there. Today I got a lot more and pants.
