Walking into this place, I love the ice cream parlor feel. It has cases to purchase milk and dairy goods, as well as maple syrup and cheese and meat trays. It even has tables with chess sets out, in case you want to get a game while you wait for your order, or while you eat. The detail is adorable down to the cows stickers on the windows. I had a frost bite similar to a DQ Blizzard and it had heaps of Heath Bar! My husband had a Banana Royale with two bananas, vanilla ice cream with pineapple topping, chocolate ice cream with chocolate sauce, strawberry ice cream topped with strawberries, and whip cream on top of that. The attention to detail is remarkable. I look forward to returning!

I feel a bit guilty when I go to this Oberweis because I usually go after I visit Advanced Dentistry in the same shopping center. Shhhh, don’t tell Dr Wylde or Dr Klemma. I always enjoy my chocolate shake, except for the price. When Vincent Vega complained about a $5 shake in the movie Pulp Fiction, he would probably freak out at the (approximately) $9 I pay for my large shake at this location. But, I love it too much too resist. The staff is always friendly and attentive. The inside is clean and well kept. The outside has pretty cool seating options and there is a nice lake with a walking path next to the restaurant. Yes, it’s expensive but I will continue to visit this Oberweis because I am addicted to their chocolate shakes. Oh, and how exactly do you pronounce “Oberweis”???

Oberweis is an excellent place for dairy! We get milk there and they have so many ice cream flavors to choose ones. During the summer too they have a lot of new ice cream flavors to try from!

Longer Expiry date would help us just buy 4 half gallons at each visit every 2 weeks.Or it would be great if oberweis can open a store closer or within Pontiac.

Very good family oriented fun place for dessert. The order had 2 problems today... 1- the sugar cones had a piece of the cover stuck to it.. making eating it difficult. 2- we had 4 items in our orders and while they took time to make the longest 1... The others lay outside causing them to start melting even as they were being handed over later.

Delicious ice cream. Kids love getting balloons here too. I was a little disappointed that my ice cream melted so quickly but the waffle combine was fresh and tasty. It was very crowded when we arrived but the line went super quick and we got our ice cream so fast!

This is a super busy location but they havent quite figure out how to manage the high business volume as it takes a long time to get your order. However, the location is perfect in the sense that you can walk right out of the back door and sit at a pond to enjoy your ice cream.

Expensive, but worth it. Theres a nice area to walk around outside with a lake that has ducks or geese. Ice cream itself is better quality than Baskin Robins and other places around Imo.

I went to get a quart of black raspberry dark chocolate chunk 🍨 🍦 for my grandniece who was turning 11 yesterday. They had only pint sizes available. I asked the kid ( I wish I had gotten his name. Im sure hes a high school student ) who was working there for the quart size. He told me he could make it for me but it will cost $8.99/ $2/ more than the regular price. I asked him whether he would let me take 2 pint sizes for the price of the quart size. He agreed saving me $4/ in the process. I have never shopped in oberweis 🍨 shop before summer of last year. I always find the staff mostly high school kids trying to make extra money very friendly, polite and helpful. Hereafter I will always go there for my 🍨 cravings.

It’s definitely the best ice cream in Schaumburg . The best part about this Oberweis is the customer service. Everyone that works at the Schaumburg location is incredibly helpful and kind .Always a pleasant experience .Super clean and family friendly.

Decided to stop here late night and caught them just as they were closing. These guys were very friendly and stayed extra for us. They even let us try few ice cream flavors before we bought several tubs of ice creams. Their buy 2 get 1 free deal was really good.Ice creams are all very good. There are no artificial flavors and fresh from the dairy.Overall, really good experience.

Their store is air conditioned well, constantly busy, bustling with variety and... expensive. With that said, the quality ingredients speak for themselves.Everything from the glass milk bottles, to the pints of ice cream, to the toppings on those engorged banana splits, to even the weighty paper bags they package your “to-go” orders in, Oberweis does quality well.On busy nights, they take your order and ask for your name, and they call it over an intercom shortly thereafter. This is pretty helpful especially if you head towards the outdoor seating. However you may miss your name if you’re preoccupied in deep conversation.Oberweis is established up at the great intersection between delicious and indulgence. This store’s pretty good, and I recommend a visit.

Im visiting schamburg from California and I ordered from this place. Looks good inside, ice cream is really good. Employees are not that great. Customer service is bad. The person who took my order looked like he wanted to be at home sleeping. I received my order and sat down outside. I went back to get some small cups and I waited a while and no one approached me if I needed anything at the counter. The person who took my order originally finished taking an order from a customer and didnt see if I needed anything. He than just went back to the prep area pretended to wash his hands and stood their watching people prepare the food. Their was another person standing their as well. No sense of urgency from any employee to help out the customer. Another girl employee came to hand out an order and we saw each other and she didnt ask me anything. After a slight pause and we locked eyes I asked what I needed and she didnt seem enthusiastic about working at this place or have a sense of great customer service.

Im basically lactose intolerant and I still force myself to get ice cream here once a week in the summer (and probably once a month in the winter). The ice cream is so good. The milk is amazing too, but I cant really drink milk anymore. Always very clean and a nice little area for sitting and chatting while enjoying some ice cream. Some of the tables also have chess/checkers boards if youd like to relax and flex your now frozen brain. If its nice outside you can also go out the side door and walk around the small park and pond next door.

Oberweis provides that and much more.What astonishes me almost as much as the delicious ice cream itself is the prime location the business resides next to. Right outside the door is a beautiful park with a pond and playground. This makes stopping by for a cone with the kids a great option after letting them tire themselves out in the park.There is a wide variety of flavors and size options available. There are also cakes and tubs of the different flavors available to purchase as well.Oberweis is worth a try whether you are an ice cream lover or just want a dessert.

One of best places to have an Ice Cream. Espresso flavored ice creams are a delight!!!Update - 2/23/2021 - Placed an online delivery order on 2/22. Only partial order was delivered. When I called up the store and informed about the situation, the manager was very arrogant and showed zero concern about the fact that she and her team had messed it up. Though I placed order on Oberweis website, she informed that the order was placed through doordash and she cannot help with anything. Assuming this could be some tie up between Doordash and Oberweis, I asked how do I contact them and what details should i provide as I did not have any email from Doordash regarding this order, her response was you can google up their customer service number and call them. Her tone and the way she spoke made me feel as if I did a mistake by ordering online. Reducing the rating to 2. Their staff really does need some training on handling customers when some mess up has happened.

Simply the best. The ice cream is so incredibly delicious. The quality and quantity are consistent. This Oberweis location is the best and I’ve been to many others in the suburbs, the chess tables, the lighting, spacious, outdoor tables by the fountain, board games, large selection of ice cream to take home(and other oberweis products). Plenty of parking. We come here often with our three kids. Highly recommend.

Banana Royale worth it every time!

This place is always popping with people! Theres a very nice fountain next to it with a small pond. Kids can play in a sprinkler during the summer and theres a large field as well. Great for lounging or a day outside with the kids or pets.
