Since my purchase has not been scheduled for delivery yet, I writing this review based solely on my sales/purchase experience.We started out at the Algonquin Commons location. They only had one salesperson and several customers. When I finally was able to flag the salesperson down, he failed to take much interest in me or my questions. I think it was because we were interested in the lower end models. He quickly gravitated to another couple looking at higher priced models. We left. My son looked up some other locations and found one on our way to Woodfield Mall. We stopped there and were pleasantly greeted. Our salesperson gladly answered all our questions and concerns. After we decided to purchase, we relayed our experience at the other store earlier in day. He was able to set us up very nicely! We also wanted to purchase a used piece of equipment in addition to the new treadmill. He was able to work that out and it will be delivered at same time as treadmill. We are looking forward to having the delivery people setting up our new and used equipment. Thank you to our salesperson in Schaumburg!!!

Great experience. Ken was super helpful and accommodating and answered all our questions.We went in to look at massage chairs, tried a couple and bought the Jin 2.0. We don’t need any exercise equipment, but if we did, wed come here first. Highly recommended!++++++++++++++++++++++An update to this review - Had the Jin 2.0 chair for a couple weeks now and its wonderful! The remote takes a bit getting use to, but the chair functions are great. Six pre-programmed routines and pinpoint manual adjustment if desired.Before we bought, I saw lots of reviews on many different brands ( so many to choose from! ) and one complaint I saw a lot was the chair would start making noises after a week or two. None of that so far and it seems like a well built machine.The white glove delivery was worth it too - it comes in a box the size of a refrigerator, but the 2 person team had it in and set up in about 20 minutes. Well worth the money.

I purchase a Matrix Rower 2 years ago and had problems with their display back light. This went on for a few months before the back light and display stopped working.It turns out that they have a bad design in the electronics and it kills the lithium Ion Battery, so the put a limited 1 year warranty on the battery, saying its a wearable item.Yet the Schaumburg store told me it was covered under the 3 years warranty.DO NOT BUY FROM JONSON FITNESS & WELLNESS IF YOU EXPECT good & honest support without being misinformed by Jonson Fitness Sales People!!

Bought a Horizon treadmill from this place in November and it’s been loud with a “clicking “ sound. The store has return/exchange policy in print - but when we called them they refused to do anything but asking us to deal with the manufacturer. I wouldn’t recommend shopping there.

The customer service in this store is probably one of the worst that Ive ever experience in my life. I have never written a bad review on any store ever but hopefully this shows how resentful I am and wish that it doesn’t happen to anybody else. Furthermore, I’m probably one of the most patient person you’ll ever meet. I purchased an equipment with ancillary items and warranty and had it setup for delivery. Then the bad things started to happen: the items were delivered past the windowed time and one of them were missing, the salesperson gave me the run-around and promised to give me a call to follow up but never did; I had to call multiple times and physically drove to the store 3 times just to get an answer. This went on for 3 months and nothing happened, then the salesperson said that it was back-ordered and it should come any day. So I waited but never heard from the salesperson and had to call myself to follow up. This went on another 2 months and I finally gave in and requested to get my money back. The salesperson said that he couldn’t do a refund at that time because there was something wrong with their system. Again I waited for a week and had no response, called the store and they kept on promising to credit me but with no results. I got busy at work and forgot to follow up and 10 months had gone by and just completely gave up, I didn’t want to waste any more time and effort.

So a guy goes in to buy a used rowing machine for $500, and walks out an hour later with a BRAND NEW Matrix Rower with Magnetic Resistance. What happened?I did spend more, But Ken Hammel, the store manager, took the time to educate me... invaluable! With this new knowledge, I choose to upgrade.The Matrix Rower is the most smooth and quiet machine Ive ever used!I recommend Ken at Johnson Fitness & Wellness Store in Schaumburg IL. for any fitness equipment, new or used, or just to ask a question.Paul Meyers

I went into their store on Saturday to purchase a desk treadmill. Ken was very helpful, knowledgeable, and patient with all of my questions. I had a good experience. I will be a repeat customer and will refer friends and family as well.

Saw a really nice treadmill so i decided to buy it gotit home and for some reason it didnt turn on i called and the delivery man came out fixed it in 5 minutes very nice and friendly service will be coming back soon for more equipment

Went to look for a stairs master. Very knowledgeable salesperson. Explained everything thoroughly all the options and did not push for a sale.

I just purchased my second machine from here. Clearly I was happy enough enough the first time to buy again. This time I worked with Ken Hanmel and I dont think Ive ever felt more valued as a customer. He found me the machine I wanted for a very fair price and set everything up for delivery and trade in of my old machine. It was super easy and he was incredibly polite and helpful. The delivery team was really nice and even shoveled my driveway! Granted that was because they had to use it but I didnt have to do it for them and so it was a nice perk when there was 9 inches of snow the night before!There was one hiccup in the process (because theres just how life goes sometimes) and it was resolved to my complete satisfaction. The machine came from a different store then the Schaumburg one and was missing a foot when it was delivered. The delivery guys made sure I was aware of it and instructed me on how to get it taken care of. I called Ken and he arranged to personally bring me a replacement part the same day. I expected to have to fight to get it taken care of or to have to drive there to get it and install it myself but instead I experienced literally the best customer service I could hope for.I cannot give a stronger recommendation for a company in literally every aspect: availability, price, costumer service and problem resolution. Im very pleased.

Emerick really did a great job of getting us the equipment we needed at the price we were hoping to get. Financing available. Delivery is through a third party, so I will update my review should there be any difficulties.

Ken is very helpful and knowledgeable. Good variety of quality equipment.
