I stopped in Friday evening to pick up some gluten free/dairy free supplements for a sick friend to boost her immune system. Amber was amazing! She knew exactly where to find everything I was looking for and how to verify ingredients. I was on my way very quickly and so grateful for her help.

I am a former regular customer. Today, I stopped into the Scaumburg location for a few items. The customer service was very poor. I asked for help locating a specific product and the employee not only did not know where it was, she left me standing in the isle.. I told her I needed to get back to work.

They have a good selection of paleo pantry goods for decent prices. However, you should triple check the expiration dates on anything you buy. They are not the best at taking expired products off the shelves. It was disappointing today that ALL bottles of 500ml Volcano Lemon Juice were past the best by date. Later on, I read a line on the receipt that they wont refund expired products. In my opinion, this policy is unethical unless they are excellent at removing expired products from their shelves - which clearly, they arent.Also, if you are concerned about receiving expired products, never use their curbside pickup. I did once and received expired crackers.

This should be on everyones GPS list. This is the healthy version of a convienant store. All produce is organic. Have nice supply of new items coming to market. Helpful staff.

Used to go here all the time. Absolutely no signage that masks MUST be worn and the staff baraded us around the store when I have a MEDICAL condition. Terrible service and totally unprofessional.

The people who work there along with at least one of the managers are very selective in how they treat people. It’s like a bizarro world when you enter there. I was ignored for a half hour until I had to go in the back and ask after 3 employees walked right by me. If you need help forget about it. The price on the shelf is usually not the same as the price at the register and they dont believe you. They cheated me on my refund when I called them on it. BE CAREFUL! DO NOT GO. I Wouldn’t go back there if you paid me.Sick!!!!!!!!!!

I used to primarily do my shopping at fruitful yield. The staff was kind, the atmosphere was less chaotic than other stores and they had most of what I needed. Now I find that I only go there for their juice bar; a lot of the produce on shelf is old/moldy, their prices are higher than competitors and their hours don’t seem to support a drive to welcome customers. 10AM is far too late to open a store like this, especially on weekends. The juice bar alone keeps me coming back, but I’ve had inconsistencies here as well. Most days someone is very happy to greet you and take your order, no issues when asking for add ins such as protein, etc. however recently I had gone in and was treated so rudely by a staff member I was taken aback. Before I had a chance to order I could tell she was irritated that I was there for a smoothie. She made several annoyed/impatient faces and gave me a hard time when I asked for an add in, and then used my free smoothie credit without even asking me. It was the first and only time I’ve had so many issues in one visit. I will continue to shop here when other options are scarce, but it’s truly easier and more cost friendly to shop at Whole Foods.

I spent Saturday evening searching for a specific Now Food product the manufacturers website said Out of stock. It showed in this store. I dread going to this store but I figured they had no customers Sunday morning. When I walked in, I had not looked or touched an Item the people showed up from nowhere asking if I found everything OK with interesting faces. When I finally found the item, the lady at the register asked the same question. I explained that I was the only customer at the time, one customer left without all the harrassment. She was aware that I was asked by 2 other people before. I told her that question is intimidating because I was in her view the entire time. I also told her that if Vitamin shoppe carried more Now Food brands, I prefer going there but they dont have the item. I had no choice but to go here. I spent less than 2 to 3 minutes because the item is normally in the Protein section. I am NO LONGER A CUSTOMER. I have worked in customer service, I have an idea why this location does that to certain customers. I Started going here when they were located near the Mazda dealership in on Golf Rd.

Went to this store to get a specific product. The store smelled nice.. Filled with a lot of health products., Limited but useful stuff. Definitely not to be missed for.

As long as I am coming to this location I am always impressed with friendly staff and eagerness to help. As a matter of fact I am just about to visit the store today; just checking if you are open during this not so friendly period because of Corona-19!

But we do enjoy that.2018 Always clean, friendly and very helpful. We dont shop here often, but we do come specifically for the NOW brand vitamins.

Always helpful and knowledgeable! I always love shopping here for particular health items. Can I find it cheaper on Amazon? Sometimes, but I prefer local when I can. Most of the time I need to see the product, compare, ask questions and this store does not disappoint.

We used to shop at the much smaller location several blocks west on Golf. We had stopped going there due to a few extremely rude store personnel. We decided to go to the new location and were astonished by the prices. There wasnt a single product in the entire store that wasnt more expensive than Whole Foods, Fresh Thyme, any other health food store, or the health food sections at Marianos and Jewel. I guess they have to charge exorbitant prices for the gorgeous, much larger space. No need to come back here again!

Poor customer service, lack of organic fresh produce to choose from, manager is disrespectful and they dont carry sage, incense, flower essences, or resin. If you are into the alternative healing arts they honestly wont have the herbs, holistic or sacred tools you need to create sacred space. The manager here is rude and they dont even comprehend what a simple Tonka Bean is. They carry now essential oils and none of the other prominent brands. You will obtain much better customer service at whole foods.

Poor experience on a customer service level. Im a big fan of Fruitful Yield and regular shopper at a different location. This was my first time at the Schaumburg location. Long story short, I wanted to use a coupon that they had given me and they made me buy my things, go out to my car, and then come back in line to use the coupon. This was what the manager insisted I do, not a young cashier trying to play a joke on me, but a manager. Why make people jump through hoops when they want to spend money at your business and possibly become a regular? Not very professional. Not going back to this location.

Ive been shopping here for at least 10 years. Up until now I have LOVED it. I work next to a Whole Foods but choose to drive 30 minutes away once a month to stock up from here.. Moments ago I was informed by a very nice teller that Fruitful Yield no longer excepts $100 bills. WHAT? Thats just crazy.Youre a RETAIL store. Guess Im sticking to overpriced Whole Foods..you have lost a loyal customer.

I purchased items today in cash, the cashier shorted my cash back. She placed the reciept in the middle of the dollar bills and placed the change on top of the cash when she handed it to me. When I started to walk away I noticed I was shorted money back, when I turned around she was already helping the next customer. I did not feel like making a scene or spend any more time in the store to try and correct the problem. So in return I will not be returning to Fruitful Yield in Schaumburg on Golf Road.

This store saved my sisters life!! Back in 2008 and 2009 I would go to this store to buy vitamins. they have take-one free flyers and magazines about various health topics and products. My sister was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in 2009. One of the free magazines I picked up from this store had an article on Curcumin, and how it is proven to reduce pain. My sis was on so much pain medication, she could not dial a phone. I slowly started weaning her off the meds and using Curcumin to reduce her pain. Plus, applied the other info I had learned from this store (Cod Liver Fish oil, Vitamin D, organic food). Well, it is 2015 and my sis is still going strong. Still taking all of this and is on No pain meds. A miracle. Her doctor was shocked, wanted to know what she was doing. I love this store and this company!! Thank you Fruitful Yield, you guys are the best!
