Today 8-5-2021 was my first Appt atIllinois Sinus & Hearing. And i met withSteve for a hearing test & to order new Hearing Aides. & i was very happywith Steve & how well he talked to me & explained my Results of my Hearing test. And how he went about ordering my new Hearing Aides.

When I called to make the appointment staff was very professional and kind. When I showed up to my appointment, different story. Front Desk staff demeanor was incredibly rude and condescending! When I informed them that I only had an electronic copy of my insurance card Front desk lady started huffing and puffing, visibly in distress. She provided me the email, and spelled out “ G-E-N-E-R-A-L” as if it is not common spelling. I emailed it to them as I do with other providers, and as I was waiting in the waiting area she calls me over by gesturing with her hand instead of calling me by name, also very professional. She said “The image is too large”, and in case I didn’t understand they also took the time to print it out into several sheets of paper, which she then preceded to show me one by one. And when I told them that I didn’t have a copy of the back side, she about almost lost it!Case in point, I am not sure what the deal was and had I not been there out of medical necessity I would have walked away in a heart beat, but I have been to many other medical providers and until yesterday never had I been treated with such disrespect. It is the first impression you make of your practice and it was not a good one. I would advice that you give your Front Staff some additional breaks so they don’t become so overwhelmed by small simple tasks. Or perhaps some additional training with computer software so they know how to make a large image into a smaller one.Audiologist and Dr. Deitch were great, so it’s a shame that front desk behaved like so.Thank you!

Clean place. Received professional care at a fast pace. It seems like you are in a beehive, everyone was quickly moving and directing me between stations. The doctor is very friendly, gentle and explanatory. Recommended by first time patient.

I was warmly greeted. The staff were all very compassionate and helpful. Dr. Deitch had an excellent bedside manner. I was very nervous and Dr. Deitch put me at ease. He explained everything he was doing. Went over all of my test results with me. Then we went over my course of treatment. Wonderful experience.

1st visit. Very pleased with everything.
