Yuck! Ice cream had zero flavor. Couldnt tell vanilla from chocolate- no distinguishing flavor. It all tasted sort sweet and cold- nothing else. Really high priced- 5.75 for a small cube with sprinkled- menu said 3.50. Even questioned- told the rest was for sprinkles- seriously? 2 bucks for sprinkles? Rip off...

This ice cream shop on Central Ave and colonie was a nice shop and had a lot of people there we stopped there for a car show me plus one and not too many people were there with their cars but it was a nice night for a ride and we enjoyed ourselves so Ive had ice cream there in the past and it was good and the rest of it I guess well just work as we go have a pleasant day be well the end

Good ice cream plenty of options for everyone. They also serve your basic walk up food hotdogs 🌭. Try the sherbet cooler, rainbow 🌈 sherbet mixed with sprite.

Wow! When out of town I typically don’t review too often, but felt it was necessary and deserved! As for the ice cream it was delicious and no problems with prices etc. I had to ask the young lady’s name that helped me because I appreciated her helping me out and not getting annoyed by my indecisiveness. She was so friendly and even offered me a samples! I applaud her patience as the customer in front of me was very rude, but you would have never known. I wanted to compliment Erin, so I asked if the owner was there and that’s when I met Jordyn who is the manager. She was so friendly and engaged in a nice conversation from soft serve, flavors, and precautions she is taking to keep her customers and staff safe! She truly seemed to take pride in her work! I asked her what ice cream she liked and to get me a scoop because I figured it had teeth whitener in it! Due to her happy energy I couldn’t help but notice she had the whitest teeth I’ve ever seen! (Guys she had a ring on ha!) Long story short you’re missing out on not only amazing ice cream, but more importantly a hardworking and friendly staff! You should definitely try out The Ice Cream Shop!

Lots and lots of choices for everyone from soft ice cream to hard ice cream, sundaes and shakes, cones and bowls. They offer my favorite flavor bursts in blu goo.....which has been very hard to find this year. They also offered out door seating that worked with social distancing requirements.

Very good ice cream, lots of outdoor seating. Only problem is that you have to cross the parking lot to get to some of the pick nick tables. Cars sometimes pull in fast because it is off a main road.

I sadly dont have any photos to post for this review because I was too busy shoveling food in my mouth. The hot dog buns are basically Texas Toast, which just adds epic to the hot dog. The shakes are always thick and flavorful. Everyone is always friendly and the quality of the food is also great.I have never had a bad experience here.

Best ice cream around. I prefer the flavor burst and if you do too, I recommend going here for sure. They arent stingy on the flavor for their flavor bursts. Other places seem to put far too little flavor in to where its like plain vanilla ice cream. They have tables with umbrellas and benches. Good size parking lot and located in a section of central Ave that allows for easy in and out.

Very nice setup that protected social distancing. Once at the window ordering and order fulfillment happen quickly. As always, the ice cream is really delicious!

So far, our favorite ice cream stand in the area. Delicious ice cream and sundaes. Lots of places to be seated and a nice spreadout of seating areas. Clean seating areas, too. While enjoying our ice cream, we noticed that the staff stopped by just to check on if any tables needed clean up. They didnt, since the staff seems to be on top of the cleanliness. Did I mention its delicious here?!

I just had a fresh fruit, mixed berry sundae - blueberries strawberries and raspberries - over vanilla soft ice cream, with whipped cream, nuts, and a cherry on top.. It was excellent!

Found this shop on our way home from Schenectady. Enjoyed some chocolate frozen custard, yummmm! Easy to see from the road, plenty of parking in the private parking lot. Walk up service window was very welcoming. Service was pleasant and fast.

I really like stopping here. Their ice cream is excellent and not at a bad price at all. Its a nice place to sit a a wonderful summers day. They have sun shaded benches and tables. Its also in a convenient location on the Niskayuna side of Colonie right on Central Avenue. It is across the way from Lia Toyota. Traveling west its on the right with easy parking. I am not sure about restrooms. There is handicapped parking and this place is wide open. Ill be going back often.

Got a reeses flury, it was the skimpiest flury i ever had. It was barely 3/4 full, and hardley any reeses. Sorry, but Bumpys is much better, not worth the trip!!!

I ordered a Supposedly large cone it was the smallest Large cone Ever.When she handed it to me i said thats a large & she said yes.I got home & called & asked 2 speak 2 the manager wouldnt u no the girl who waited on me Was the manager. I said that was the smallest large cone i had Ever gotten no less an over $4 cone. She said it looked small but it was the amount I was supposed to get. I said I would Never come back with my business. She acted like she could care less & did not offer any kind of compensation. Very bad customer service & I Always thought the customer wad Never wrong. I went 2 Scoups on Shaker Road the next night & I bought a QUART of Home made soft vanilla for a Fair price of $6.75 & my girlfriend got a Small cone for $2.50 that was bigger than the large cone I got here for 4.50. The only thing home made here is the uncomfortable picnic tables. The manager made NO attempt 2 re$olve my complaint so i would advise you 2 go Elsewhere
