Inside clerks always rude. Selection in store is average to good.. Secret is curbside 5 star service is the best. Order online and your order is prepared to perfection and brought out always on time by very professional kind staff who load it for you. No need to go inside . In 15 months of curbside every single order has been perfect.

Its a very nice environment everything is just neatly placed in its spot and they were very helpful with the self checkout I assume she was the manager very cute very very cute adorable actually plus they have the best oranges around I think.... Some folks May complain that it cost a little bit much more.... But thats the price you pay for good quality food groceries rather bakery is very excellent

They have unsweetened Yerba Mate and no one else does anymore, so thats great. Good selection, just too big and can be frustrating to shop here.

Nob Hill is a good supermarket. It has many of the mainstream items you would expect for baking and general food stuffs. They have an excellent liquor and beer department. They have many items in their house brand Ralley’s. They have a decent selection of organic produce and in general their produce is on par with Safeway with is their parent company. Their “ethic” section is fairly well stocked and you can find many of the commonly found brands (which tend to be nonexistent at Whole Foods). All of their cold storage is enclosed which is a plus. On the downside their meat and deli selections are all prepackaged. The deli selection is abismal. If you want an excellent deli at a supermarket, go to Lunardi’s.

Great store with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Produce has never been bad, nor has meat department. Frozen meats are by the butchers display case and not in the frozen food section.

My preferred grocery store, but I cant get the e-cart site to work, and they never seem to get requests in. I just have to wait, sometimes weeks, or go elsewhere.

I have been very patient with this store during COVID but the customer service is almost non existent. The checkers do not even exchange pleasantries and my cashier today was downright rude. The quality of the food is not excellent. I bought a filet mignon steak and it was fatty and gross. After many years as a loyal customer I will not be shopping at this store again. So sorry that this is case.

I like shopping at Nobill Foods. They have good prices. Their staff is friendly.

I like their selection of organic and healthy foods. They dont always have the cheaper common brands and prices for specialty foods and brands are higher. Friendly staff and convenient location.

Its probably not common they see black people inside their store... I felt like and seen everyone looking at me racial profiling.. made me very sick to my stomach plus the lady at the bakery didnt even make an attempt to help me... was forced to get something I didnt even want. Thanks for all you help lady.. guess I just dont belong there..

Visited this place while charging my car. It has good bakery section which I really love. Easy to find stuff around this store. Masks are mandatory. Easy to find parking. This store has restrooms available.

This is a well-stocked grocery store, with a nice little bakery, tons of frozen foods, and a good produce section. I have always found the staff to be pleasant and helpful. Their prices in the meat section tend to be a bit higher than Safeway. Overall, I like shopping there and I can almost always find what I need.

Place is clean. Plenty of cashiers open at all times so wait is minimal. Once, I found an expired item and manager promptly retired all items form the shelf. Staff is friendly and efficient.

Ran in for a few items that you cant find at Costco or that the quantity there is just too much. It was raining and as usual, we were able to park close so that was an advantage too. I find that the signage in the isles is dated and really needs to be updated in order to help locate items that I do not buy there frequently. Otherwise, they have good selection and good produce so I keep going back. Check out on this visit was quick and easy.

This review specifically has to do with the Deli section. I’m from out of town and was looking for a place to eat when I saw this Nob Hill. I had a hankering for fried chicken and my son agreed that’d “hit the spot”. We dropped by, bought 2 legs, 2 thighs a couple of drinks as well as a couple of small deli salads (potato and pasta). The check out people were very friendly and gave a great recommendation of a nearby park where we could sit down and enjoy our food. The food was GREAT and the awesome service prompted me to write this review. Keep up the good works guys!!!

Its currently 8/21/20 the time is 8:53AM. The town of Scotts Valley is under evacuation orders due to the CZU Lightning Complex, but Nob Hill refuses to shut down. They rather risk their employees lives and health so they may make a buck off of you... Assuming you stuck around in which case you need to leave as well. This is gross and just shows you the values Nob Hill and by extension Raleys has for its employees and customers.

Good selection of healthy foods. However, it is a little more expensive than Safeway right down the street. They do have better lunchmeat though.

Nob Hill is a fine market. It is all I would expect from a market including a hot food bar, a sandwhich counter, a deli counter, a sushi counter, a bakery, a wine/beer bar, full service fish counter, etc. The staff is helpful and friendly, they have a large parking lot that accommodates handicapped as well as able-bodied shoppers. They are my local go to market.

Very good town grocery store. The shelves are always well kept, the produce department always seems to have quality produce (and is also nicely kept), and the staff are all friendly. Always enough parking even when it’s busy. This is my regular grocery store, and I have yet to have a complaint.

Overall the store is good but improvement is needed in the produce department. CONSISTENTLY, I mean every week, the apples are not good. They are tasteless most of the time, too ripe, soft or old. Last week, December 2018 I spoke w/the produce person and she said their apples are old. They come from Washington and they are last years crop. Say added, Nob Hill does not carry local apples anymore nor fresh crops.

Best grocery store in town for general grocery store needs

I am more than partial to Nob Hill, they dont always have a brand I want, but its not a deal breaker.1.Even when the store is busy, I never wait for a checker for very long2. The aisles are clean and bright3. They Unpack my cart and pack my groceries in the same (if not less) than Safeway4. I can ALWAYS get a roll of quarters (which is a big deal to someone who doesnt feel like going to more stores than necessary..)5. 99. 9% of the staff are kind and helpful {I know exactly who the other review is talking about... I avoid his line like the plague}Prices for a basket of groceries equal roughly the same as Safeway. True, Safeway may have a few more sales or a few lower prices, but what is time and hassle worth?As long as I have the option, I will definitely shop NOB HILL

This is a really nice grocery store. Definitely a level up from the Safeway up the road.

We were in town for a wedding and stopped here for groceries on the way to out Airbnb. The store is fine but there were only two checkers so the lines were incredibly long. On top of that, the checkers had no sense of urgency... I mean zero hustle. People would walk up and ask them to open another line and theyd just casually say we dont have any more checkers. Then, the baggers! There were more baggers than checkers and, no joke, two were bagging my groceries. One would look carefully at each item then either hand it off to the other bagger or put it in her bag. It was painful to watch while I knew there was a huge line of people behind me. I dont know who manages this place but they should have been there. This was also a weekend with predicted PG&E blackouts so they should have been better prepared for it to be busy.

We got a beautiful birthday cake here, for a wonderful price! Tasted good too! The Minnie and Mickey Luau cake had every detail, lots of color, beautiful frosted flowers all over! Perfect!!!

I like the local vibe of the store even though its a big chain. They have a big deli section with lots of options. The layout is good, enter the door on your right, veggies, door on your left deli 😋

This review is for the meat department because it is where I primarily shop in this store. The overal staff is short tempered and rude, they never seem to want to help anybody. In fact when I see certain employees working on the days I come in I dont bother asking for any assistance. The customer service in seafood however is their saving grace. A young man always approaches the counter with a big smile and always is very helpful with any questions I have concerning seafood or meat. He alone is why Im giving them an extra 3 stars. I was helped quickly and in a friendly manner. The other meat guys need to take some notes!

I normally shop at Safeway but I came to this store a few days ago. Couldn’t find what I was looking for until Jose N offered to help me find what I needed. He was extremely friendly and helpful and i will definitely be coming back just because jose had such a kind attitude and was happy and willing to help me out

The deli never gets anything right. the last time i went there maybe a month or so ago they left THE PAPER from the sliced cheese on half of my sandwich and they only gave me a $4 refund. today i went there because the eriks deli line was too long, ordered a sandwich and asked for bacon to be added, worker said ok, and i sit down to eat it, there is no bacon or even the avacado that was supposed already be on my sandwich. maybe im just hangry but honestly the nob hill deli sucks.
