Buying a car shouldnt be painful...its a large investment for most people. What was difficult in my situation was there was no price on the car.... I knew the general value of the cars as I have been looking for a year and a half. I was happy to get the car because I had a huge need. Felt manipulated at the end. I am in contact with a lot of people and want to be happy to suggest a company that I have dealt with. Not sure where I am at with that. We have a semi plan to change out this vehicle within the year. We will see how that experience goes.

I have purchased at least 3 vehicles from Van in the past. My last vehicle was a new Corvette z06. Today, I walked into the dealership asking about ordering the new Corvette z06 (the release is this week). Now, I know today is a different market as the semi conductor chip situation has created shortages, and, this is a new Corvette release. A sales person who handles those cars advised me that they were pricing those cars $100,000.00 OVER sticker price. I quickly advised that I was not interested. What surprised me is that this guy quickly followed up with a question of how much over sticker would I pay? These are sales people and I get their willingness to test customers. However, Van should consider the long term impact of their willingness to price gouge. Make no doubt about it, that is what this is. This stunt lost me (a loyal customer) as a repeat customer.... forever.

The initial customer service we had was great. We were speaking with our salesman and everything was going fine. We asked about various trucks and they indicated there was a couple of trucks to look at. We kept indicating to our sales person that we did not want to make a decision tonight. We looked at two trucks and really liked one of the trucks. We wanted to run the numbers to see what it would look like in our budget. As soon as we saw the numbers we said okay we would like to discuss it. Then he said that was fine was going to get his manager to close us out. We said that was fine. The manager comes in and is aggressive stating that he needs to sell three more cars tonight. He asked us what he could do in order for us to buy the car tonight. We told him nothing we wanted to think about it. That was not what he was wanting to hear as he got more aggressive, asking us why? Is it because we don’t have the money? Is it we didn’t like the truck? He said there had to be a reason, he was incredibly rude to my wife and very aggressive in his approach. He didn’t like the fact that we wanted to think about it. (We don’t make big decisions on a whim). We ended up just talking in circles and at this point it was frustrating. We understand he wanted to try pressure us into a sale but we weren’t having it and the manager stormed out with the paperwork. We have bought plenty of cars in our lives and this was by far the WORST experience. If your going to blatantly disrespect us like that there is no way we will be giving us our business. If you can buy a Chevy somewhere else, I would definitely do so.

A little background - we pull our 5th wheel and a large cargo trailer around the country while we work building utility scale solar projects. We already had a nice dually that is completely capable. Decided with the used vehicle climate we wanted to see if it made sense to trade - found out that across the country 1 ton duallys are pretty scarce. Figured on ordering one and found out the wait time is 4-6 months for a Denali. Just happened to see one at Van’s and called on it and it was available. That’s when we met one of the best salesmen we have encountered over the years. Mike Nations is knowledgeable, knows his business, and wanted to come to a fair deal for us and the dealership. He made us feel welcome and listened to our needs. We also met the GM-Brian who is also very personable and runs a great ship at Van’s. We will definitely be coming back here for our vehicle needs no matter where we are in the country- believe me you will find it is worth the trip.

Bought a vehicle several days ago and still have not been able to take it home. I’m still driving my trade in vehicle and am terrified I’ll be in an accident before I’m able to trade it in. Poor communication between salesmen and service technicians. Constantly being promised certain time lines only to have them pushed back with no notice. I understand having to wait and would not have a problem with that if it was communicated to begin with. When waiting for finance was told “just a few more minutes” several times when it ended up being 45 minutes. Salesman “didn’t know why it was taking so long”. Was told my vehicle would be ready the next day, then before noon the day after, then the next day, and now I’m being told tomorrow. Until today, again the salesman “didn’t know why it was taking so long”. Again I understand being busy and would patiently wait if I was told the correct thing, but I keep planning my days around picking up my vehicle only to be told not today. All staff members were very polite and seemed as though they wanted to help, but didn’t have enough information to provide correct answers to customers. Hoping I’ll be more satisfied once I receive my vehicle.

It’s rare that I write a negative review about a business, but this one needed to be done. My fiancé and I purchased a certified 2021 Tahoe from this dealer about a month ago. Aside from the fact that they refused to give us the car for several days after we purchased it (the GM’s wife was “driving it”), they also refused to give us the second key for the vehicle and instead gave us the run around every time (“we’re still looking for it”) or refused to return our calls. Now we’re being told we have to pay $400 for the second key that we should have been given when we purchased the car.In addition, we paid extra up front for an extended warranty to ensure oil changes and maintenance costs were included (and would be free of charge each time)- and even informed finance we were moving out of state during the transaction. We were assured this warranty would follow us no matter where we lived. We made sure this was addressed up front as it was the entire reason we were getting the car in the first place. We now live in Texas and after taking the car in for its first service, were informed that the service costs and the warranty is only valid/covered by this particular dealer.From other reviews on here, it seems this dealer tends to like to scam people. I do not recommend them at all and would definitely take your money to another Chevy dealer.

I had a great experience purchasing my car from Thomas Knox! He was extremely helpful and gave me all the information I needed. He helped me get in contact with a broker for auto insurance, walked me through the entire buying process, stayed late at the dealership and even gave me a ride so I could take my car home that night. I couldn’t have had a better experience and highly recommend this location and especially Thomas Knox to anyone looking to buy a vehicle!

OK I suppose if you want to sit in a room for two hours with some stupid TV station playing in the background. I only needed a key and remote for my van and Vans got the job done with quick and friendly service so Im giving them 5 starsThat being said, I would give the Chevrolet car company a black eye because my key and remote cost $380. About half was for the parts and half to program them. I dont see how these prices can be justified. $160 to program a key and remote? This is a 5 minute job. Shame on Chevy.

I wanted my loan to go my credit union only. As you all can see by my previous reviews Im usually pretty generous with my ratings... Even though I like One restaurant over another I dont rank them like that if its really good I give it a high rating. I love the new truck that I bought at Van Chevrolet, but thats about it... I started giving a very detailed review but I ran out of characters and it wouldnt let me add to it... So Im starting over... The bottom line is Van Chevrolet lied about the application process, they lied blatantly about the warranty they were trying to sell me. Ive left multiple messages for the parts department so that I can add side boards to my truck, and they wont return my call. Ive left multiple messages with the finance department to resolve the issue that they lied about pertaining to my warranty... But they wont return my call. I love my truck, but Im very disappointed with the entire sales process from Van Chevrolet. All of the negative cliches that we hear about car dealerships are epitomized at Van Chevrolet on Frank Lloyd wright. I do not recommend them, and would absolutely recommend going to a different dealership to buy a vehicle.

Horrible experience we are from Texas drove 4 hours to the dealership thinking we got a good deal on a vehicle started the buying process days before we went they knew we where from Texas from the manager to the sales rep and they said they did everything including title, to begin with they put the wrong temporary plates, and noticed till we got back home we called and they issued the correct ones for vehicle, we started to notice our plates weren’t coming in and we called again and the staff on phone are rude and tell us we don’t do out of state titling which we didn’t know about know we don’t have plates we have to deal with calling bank and diff people to get this resolved when we were under the impression the dealership did it all, would of never bought the vehicle if they would of been honest up front and bought a vehicle here in our state instead. Would of been nice if they had the courtesy to apologize and say they don’t do them plus we purchased an extended warranty on vehicle and they said they would mail all info and never received anything. Never again felt like they just wanted the to do sale and screw us over at the end!

Patrick was our sales person at Van Chevrolet who worked the deal over texts, phone calls, and videos. Van Chevrolet hired a flawless team to keep us for only 1 hour total at the dealership! That included a test drive, agreeing to a price, and financing. 1 hour total?! We used to DREAD going to get a car! We would be there all day! Happy with sales man not happy with them not telling me the car spoiler was broken and from bumper is cracked all underneath paying over 21,000 they said they were going to service the car to make sure everything was fine they kept the car for two days before dropping it off to my house once the car was dropped this is when we noticed these things were broken I also asked for a receipt for the services that was done to it while I was there and I did not receive that as well they are not willing to fix my bumper because they said the car was trade-in that way. I did not receive copies of my warranty that I purchased I wanted a full list of what was going to be covered. I purchase a car before and normally I get more paperwork and I got very little paperwork not happy overall 🤦🏼‍♀️😒.

Awesome service experience! Jason Buis, service consultant, is a straight-shooter and all around good guy. I had a bad experience at a different Chevrolet dealership. My sister has had really good experiences at Van Chevrolet, but it is over 30 miles from my house. I thought dealerships are all the same. They are not! I made the trek and was very happy I did. Definitely thought is was worth doing a review! My salesman Bradley has done a great job in assisting me with my used vehicle purchase making it quick and simple. From the time I arrived to the time I left was maybe an hour. The vehicle is getting some things added to it and Bradleys has updated me through the whole process. He hasnt been a pesky old school salesman which is refreshing. Also kudos to the finance guy for making it quick and easy as well. Being retired from car business its hard to impress me. I recommend asking for Bradley if you want the same experience I had.

They made sure all the things that I wanted was added to my vehicle, still waiting on a couple of things, but thats alright, its only been one day thus far. Please please don’t shop here. I got a trail blazer Rs 2021 July 23rd. From Van Chevrolet and it’s been a nightmare! First I was told “No the Trail Blazers does not come with a sun roof of any type it just isn’t made with that option at all.” Ok I understand right they work here and should know the vehicles. I agreed to the deal. Paid my down payment left with out the vehicle because it still need to have an inspection done and windows tinted and all that kind of stuff. I start to do some research and find out the Trail Blazer Rs does have the option to added a panoramic roof. I call other dealerships and find out they have it in stock. I contacted my salesman and told him I was upset that I was lie to and I wanted to get the Trail Blazer RS with the panoramic roof. I was told no they couldn’t do it. I had to them come into the dealership and talk to a manager and they finally agreed. I then 2 weeks later get a call and I’m told I I’m getting $6 off my monthly payment. Great I asked Carlos who call me by the way can you tell me what my monthly payment is. He tells me $77 more then what I was told at first when I had originally close the deal. Now I’m here for the three time. This has honestly been a nightmare.

My contact Josh was very nice and helpful, but I ended up getting up early before work and driving 30 minutes just to find the car covered in dust in the backlot and being told its broken and I cant buy it. Later that day I was called by 2 different managers asking if I wanted to buy the car still. I told one of them what happened and expressed my frustration and he just said oh man and hung up on me. Im confused if these people actually want my money or not? The employees clearly dont communicate very well...

I have been looking for a specific vehicle for a while and this dealer in AZ happened to have it. I contacted them and received a very rapid response. My initial salesman was very responsive and answered all my questions. When he was not available he transferred me to another salesman and the transition was seamless. The salesman were a bit pushy at times but I understand there is a lot of pressure on them. When I agreed to buy the car all I was afraid the numbers would change from the salesmen to the finance guy but was pleased when they matched. The finance guy was informative and helpful but did try to have me focus on the monthly payment and not the fact that in order to keep that payment 3 months were added to the loan. I would chalk that up to typical car dealership stuff. I was out of state and they had a notary come to my house to complete the paperwork. That was also pretty painless however, when I had a question on a few items it was a little hard to get ahold of the finance guy during the crucial signing portion. I think he should be on standby during that 20min process. I had to speak to the manager to ensure one of my payment requirements were met and he solved it on the spot. My shipping quote was about 9 days which id not bad. I probably should not post this yet because I have not received the car yet but I am hopeful that It wont show up with a huge scratch across the or have 4 flat tires. Up to this point, I am overall satisfied and would recommend this dealership. Thanks guys!

Don’t do business with this place. They run your credit without asking. I had my vehicle serviced there and they didn’t fix the correct problem so my engine blew again. Now they won’t honor the warranty. Vehicle has 8k miles and it now needs its second engine and transmission replaced. Have to hire a attorney. John Hale is a good dude who works in service. Too bad he works with a bad company

Van replaced my airbags on a recall. Marco, my Service Consultant, was excellent. They were ready for me at my appointed time and got my truck completed with a surprise wash when they said they would. The time required on drop off and pick up was very short.

I had a bad experience at a different dealership a d the guys at Van took me in and treated me like a lifelong friend they haven’t seen in awhile. Victor was honest and kept his word about everything he offered, including holding the truck I wanted so I can drive from far away to check it out. I’m new to the GM family, and these guys made me beyond happy to switch. I plan to continue doing business here and have already recommended friends to go there too!

Terrible experience selling my car. What was supposed to take roughly 2 weeks, took 2 months.First, they have me sign the papers only to get called back in 2 weeks later because I didnt sign all the paperwork.During that time I received a call from a neighboring dealership asking me why my car was parked in their lot and I was last registered owner?I parked it in front of the dealership and that was the last I saw my car.Next, I call looking for my payout multiple times. Everyone says they are going to check on it and call me right back. One even told me they would send a carrier over to drop my check off in person.I NEVER received these call backs yet they still have my car and I have no clue where my money is.They tell me they still havent paid my car off and when they do, they didnt pay it in full, they were short.Finally, I call furiously demanding answers after two months. They go on to tell me that I parked the car in some random spot and no one knew where it was or why it was there and try to blame me for part of the delay.Come to find out, another friend had a similar instance with their trade in.They performed well under any expectation you could have in a dealership. Every step along the way was botched on their end and was extremely unprofessional in the handling of this transaction.Try buying a car and telling them youll pay them in two months... Lets see how that goes.Mind you, this was a sales transaction however a terrible experience nonetheless as I tried being as patient as possible.

This dealership is TERRIBLE. Save yourself from their LIES, dont go there!Sold us a Vehicle that was in transit but there was NO vehicle ever in transit. Thats just part of the story. It got worse...Salesperson lied, manager lied, they all lied.Theres nothing about this dealership that is good.Dont even deserve 1 star but we couldnt complete this review without picking a star.

Although this airbag recall has been lingering for approx. 6 1/2 yrs since my first notification, he and his team were finally able to acquire the parts needed to get the job done. Horrible experience with Van - will not buy from again. Shannon hijacked the sale from Dan and then neither knew what was left or right. Didnt know the product/or packages of the vehicles very well either. She was very pushy. But the most important thing was give us ALL 10s on the survey. How about do your job and I can! Needless to say 10s were not given- I even took the Van survey and received a voicemail from someone checking on my bad experience but could never get in contact with them. Chevrolet used to be all about customer service, defiantly not that way now. The most hilarious was when I called to complain, Shannon answered the phone and I identified myself and she acted like she didnt even know who I was!!

I would never buy another vehicle from this dealership. I bought a used 2016 ram 1500. Less then 1,500 miles of driving it the exhaust manifold needed to be replaced. I took it into another certified dealership as it was closer to my house. I had broken bolts. The manifold was warped severally and I was told it had been leaking for at least 3,000 miles. I have made several attempts to talk to someone at Van Chevy and they do not reply. They do not call back, they pass you from one person to the next voice Mail. In the little conversation I have had it was condescending. Being told “these are mechanical machines that will tend to break down” If my life depended on it I would never buy another vehicle from them again. Don’t do it.

The employees at this dealership do not know how to communicate. After purchasing a used car back in June, I have only had possession of the vehicle for a total of about 2 weeks. This is because they are unable or unwilling to fix my car to drivable state . Just got the car from them on August 12,2021 and the car wont start 2 days later. I have been calling 2 times a day everyday and no one calls me back. Do not purchase a car here they have extremely bad customer service.
