Got the ice cream sandwich with the cookies. The service was friendly and the facility is clean, I just would have liked if the cookies were moist. The stiffness of the cookies made it difficult to eat as an icecream sandwich, but it tasted good nonetheless!

We ordered ice cream sandwiches and they were very good. I was able to choose 2 different cookies, ice cream and toppings. My husband did a brownie and cookie combo and his was tasty as well. I recommend stopping by after your visit at the aquarium or nearby boardwalk attractions.

It was kind of a joke. We had promised the kids a sweet treat after walking the exhibits at The Boardwalk and therefore were excited for our desert treats to be made at the Frozen Penguin. It was 5:45pm when we arrived. The cookie selection for the fresh cookie sandwiches were sparse to begin with and the ones they did have were left out and quite brittle and dry. The kiddos were all about creating their bowl of ice cream, but when they asked if they could try the ice cream they were given a look as if that was unacceptable. Once we finally all had our treats in hand, we were told we would have to leave to eat them as they were closing and we could wonder around outside to find a place to sit. At that point we were mauled by mosquitoes. This was unacceptable knowing that we came here because their location wasnt set to close till 7pm as I had called earlier in the day to verify hours of operation

Unimpressed.Ordered 3 single scoops for the kids and 3 coffee drinks for the grown ups. The ice cream is generically Dryers so dont get too excited. The kids happily ate so whatever. The coffee guy forgot our coffee order entirely. After waiting 15 minutes and letting the rush die down, we reminded him of our drinks. He started making them but stopped as additional customers came in. At the 25 minute mark, we approached again and the guy says we would have to wait while he rings up the line of customers. What? We were rung up 25 minutes ago, the kids had finished their ice cream. He produced 2 of 3 drinks and 1 of those was made wrong. When I explained that he got the drink wrong he tried to say he got it right. What?! No. We asked for a refund and left without coffee. He did refund the price of the 3 drinks but conveniently kept the tip I had added before this all went down. We will not return.

Had an ice cream sandwich after going to OdySea. Great spot. So busy though with all the families dropping by here too. No seating. Not a huge deal but would have been nice. Cookies for the sandwich were likely baked that day...soft and yummy. Ice cream was creamy and not icy... hope that makes sense to ice cream peeps.

It was a joke. It was empty and they turned me and my girls away because we didn’t have masks. Will never go there again. Wasn’t busy and they do not want your business.

Best superman ice cream in years!!

A long line at 3pm and they were out of most their cookies including chocolate chip. The ice cream is just Dreyers ice cream, nothing fancy. The service was inefficient and the employees dont know their own menu items. It is weird that Coldstones headquarters is across the street and this subpar ice cream shop exists. The price is ridiculously high for what you get. Save your money and go to the grocery store and buy a few gallons of ice cream.

Ice cream sandwiches live or die based on the baked goods in which they are conveyed, and The Frozen Penguin delivers. The cookies and brownies are tasty on their own, and combine well with the ice cream. Portions are big. Big.

The apple pie creation was wonderful!! It was like having some great apple pie with a large scoop of French vanilla ice cream. I will definitely order this again!

Such a unique, fun shop! Nothing beats a custom ice cream sandwich except maybe their super friendly customer service! 10/10 would recommend, 10/10 will come back, 10/10 best ice cream sandwich I’ve ever had.

My sister and I checked out the Frozen Penguin after visiting the aquarium. I had the build your own ice cream cookie sandwich. To say the least... The sandwich was amazing! The staff was friendly and offered a few quality suggestions. Worth checking out if nothing else, to beat the heat.

Two minutes into double scoop ice cream bliss, my 6 year olds ice cream fell off. He was so shocked and sad. I went in to get him another and the kind staff recognized the issue and provided a free replacement. We were so grateful that our end of day treat wasnt ruined.

Saw a 4-5 year old boy patting his ice cream cone with napkins. Not sure why. Would recommend.

Might be good but I will never know...Walked in stood there for 10 minutes and didnt see a soul behind the counter. There were 4 young adults sitting just inside the door just hanging out, not sure if one or a few of them might have been employees? If they were they were very not interested in the fact that there were customers and continued socializing.

Dont be stupid, stop in for a fairly priced ice cream sandwich for crying out loud! better yet, go for the root beer float...I mean really, when is the last time you had a root beer float!? it was amazing! The best money we spent that day.

Go for brownies not cookies. Most cookies were old and hard. One is large enough to share between two (if youre used to European portion sizes)

The service was excellent, the ice cream is high quality, and there is such a selection of fun ways to make your ice cream sandwich that it was hard to choose! We will definitely be back!

Cookies are not heated, hard, way too much ice cream for the sizes of the cookies (2-3 full scoops), and then the ice cream flavors are dull.Staff are distant and unresponsive.

Lots of fun! When I found out I had paid more for less brownie I asked why and was given another one!

Good ice cream, interesting combinations for ice cream sandwiches, slightly overpriced in my opinion. Even so, we will come again.
