They are not honest people and their mechanics are crooks. Keep pictures, receipts, and document all calls. They will try and get over on you. Horrible place to do business with. Even if your credit is bad, do not use them unless you are playing. They will mess up your vechile then charge you to fix it.

2 cars and never again, they wont honor the contract but expect you do. Every time they touch my vehicle its breaking. 100% believe the mechanics are deliberately sabotaging my vehicle.

The worse experience! The sad part is at first everything was peachy, then the check engine light came on in July of 2017 called tried to make a appointment, but got sass and finally a date for August. Got the car back problem not fixed and wanted to charge me the cost of the part and labor. I asked about the “$150 warranty ” and was told doesn’t apply here. Got the car then 2 days later light back on again, girl on the phone told me not to worry about the charge that it was their mistake. So go to pick my car up asked the lady in the front 3 times what do I owe for it. And first two time she said I don’t know the last time after looking at the paper said it looks like nothing.Started building a credit in the account to cover holiday season, called in November to check on that and they charged me over $350 for wheel work?!! Which was never done, called talk to Scotty and said on they sometimes just label them with whatever but something still happen. Didn’t make sense so I called 5 times!!! Left message for Brian every time he is suppose to be the service manager but never called me back to resolve the issue. Poor communication and I don’t think the customer who never missed a payment in two years should be treated this way. So I will be turning my car over soon and recommending that no one ever gets sucked into this scam again.

The biggest rip off in Delaware. Over charge on 10+. Year old run into the ground garbage vehicles. Don’t buy from here

Disrespectful, inconsiderate, heartless company. The way they handle their customers is horrible. We had a family member who died and before we could even finish telling them she was gone they had someone on the way to get their car. Not even a single condolence, just a pickup 20 minutes later. Do not lease from people who do not care about the clients.

The only thing I can say is don’t waste ur time, money, energy, emotions! They act like they care but they don’t.. seems convenient for the moment but will quickly turn to a migraine

Sold me a lemon. Car broke down on highway with me and my children in it. They charged me over $700 for them to take the piece of junk back. Which they said they were going to “fix” and re-sell. This was in 2014. Today they ran my credit again instead of picking up the phone calling my employer. I do not recommend at all.

Brittany Bounds and Racheal Watkins were the Best thing about my Freedom Rides experience. I walked in the office with the hopes of leaving with a car, however, it was close to closing time for these ladies. Didnt matter...they worked their magic and crunched numbers that allowed me to Drive off the lot with the car of my choice!! Thanks ladies for the dedication and the AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

DO NOT EVER GET A CAR FROM HERE !!! They are push overs and they will cut your car off if you miss one payment. They also thinks it’s okay to take money off your card before authorizing it. I’ve had the worst experience with them. I DONT RECOMMEND ANYONE GET A VEHICLE HERE..... EVER !!!!!!!

Been a few months and my 2008 mercury grand marquis is still running like a champ. Pasted inspection NO PROBLEMS,and the 1 slip my baby has freedom rides had her back on the road in literally NO TIME.THANKS AGAIN-Darius Edwards👍👍

I have purchased more than one time from Freedom Rides. However, this time I am SUPER pleased with my account manager, Pam!! She is always willing to help in anyway possible. She goes over and beyond for her customers and I am grateful for that so much!! Due to financial problems, I had to recontract my truck and I am kinda disappointed the payment didnt go down more and that they tacked on alot of fees I have already paid previously!! That is the only real concern I have with Freedom Ride and their methods. The sales girls, Brittany and Pam, are AMAZING at their jobs!! They handle so much on a daily basis and still manage to smile and be cheerful!! The service dept could be faster with vehicles however I have never had an issue with the staff in the department as a whole. One time I did have a manager tell me one thing and did the opposite but after that was finally straight everything worked out well.

Rachel was awesome. She helped me get my Jeep. Britney is a sweetheart. It was like hanging out with my girlfriends. Go see them in Seaford so they can get you driving today.

Will never buy another vehicle from this company sales personnel was real good at their job however the company changed their policies in the middle of my contract without notification they sell wrecked vehicles without telling you and their warranty is a joke somehow nothing that goes wrong is covered

My experience here at freedom rides has been the best experience I ever had with a car dealership the reason why I said that is because everywhere I went turn me away saying that I cannot get a vehicle and this place is the only place I could got a vehicle from so I give them 5 stars on service speed and quality

This place is a scam artist company. They promise you this and that and you never get it. They steal your money and try to hide the reason why. They send people out to check on your car and the man pulls a fun out on you for no reason. They wonder why Mr Hertrich is closing down the offices cause they cant even pay him for his part of the business. They went bankrupt in Easton and never told the ones from Easton what was going on. We had to find out for ourselves when we went there and the building was empty. They will be hearing from my lawyer and from BBB on mine. Plus a big complaint went to Mr Hertich about them and a whole big write up went to newspaper and the news station on how we were treated. Lets see how Mr Hertich likes all this advertising for his name and business

**UPDATED POST I have tried to update with the pictures of the car they sold us, that almost killed my husband, but instead injured him greatly, however, they must be able to control who posts pictures to their reviews because it will not allow me to post pictures. What a shame, but whonwants the public seeing that anyway** My Mother purchased a vehicle from here in Sept. During the test drive i heard a noise and mentioned it, however i was given no response. The car passed MD inspection the first time. Last week my husband was driving the car and at 55mph the control arm (which was actually the noise i had heard during the test drive) broke, pulling the tie rod out. The driver side wheel smacked the road. He struck the guard rail at the very beginning of it, head on. The air bags deployed, busting his nose open. When paramedics arrived, they believed it was a fatality. Had he not been wearing his seatbelt, he would have been killed. The entire front end of the car is gone! I found the warrenty paper un the paper work and called the dealership. At first, the gentleman i spoke with over the phone was very nice. He seemed like he wanted to help. He mentioned seeing if we could get the money back or getting another vehicle. That evening we recieved a call from the president of the dealership. Although he apologized for my husband almost losing his life, he explained there was nothing they could do. I laster found out that Fred Hertrich owns the dealership. We paid roughly $1,300 for this car. You mean to tell me that $1,300 is worth a lawsuit? Thats bad business if you ask me. Someone almost died and all you can say is sorry we cant help you. Ill be finding an attorney..(I want to make it clear, that i am not telling people that they shouldnt purchase a vehicle from here. I refuse to lower myself and bring bad karma my way. We are good people, and what happened to us is terrible. Yes, my Husband almost lost his life! Yes, that could have been my children in that car when the control arm broke the rest of the way! Yes, i did call the dealership a few times and speak to someone about the situation, in hopes that they would make it right! Yes, things should have been made right by the owner, due to the fact that the car had a cracked control arm when purchased, But they didnt.. However, i refuse to wish ill things. Instead.. I hope they continue recieving business. I hope theyre sales are high.. But i also hope this NEVER happens to another family. I hope no other wife comes this close to losing their husband. I hope that no other person has to experience an accident this bad.. Had this not been my husband, it would have been my children and i!! This should have voluntarily been made right and wasnt. Its bad business, its a terrible thing to do to anyone, but it is what it is and now we must act accordingly. Please be extremely careful everyone. I dont want this happening to anyone else.)

I went to freedom rides because I heard it from a customer that was my sister. I was interesting getting a car from there because it is hard depending on people taking me to places and also it will be my FIRST car there. There was a list of cars I can choose from and oh my goodness I couldnt decide which one I could pick but I decide to have a chevloet cobalt. There was a lot of paperwork to read and write but all I could say is are we done yet. I was so anxious driving on the road for the very first time. When I got home I reread my contract so I didnt missed anything I read. The only problem I have from freedom ride is my car was in the shop for a week and there was no rental car I could have so it was a struggle going to work or going to doctor appointment. I wouldnt trade to stop being a customer. So ladies and gentlemen just check out freedom rides they wouldnt take a advantage from you. Yes people say some rude comment but you cant believe what people say you have to check it with your own eyes

Not a very good experience just got my vehicle a week ago and its been in the shop twice already!! The fact of paying for a vehicle that I cant really enjoy because its in the shop most of the time. Never again!
