Moving is without a doubt one of the most stressful times possible - we were looking for a good moving company to move from Queens NY to North Carolina for a 3 BR apt on a 3rd floor walk up during the busiest moving week of the year (last wk of June) with less than one months notice - and Verity to our rescue. After being recommended to us by 2 other families, they had our date range available and sent the estimate guy right away to do an in-person inventory of our stuff. He ended up over quoting us (because our driver decided he could fit the entire tractor trailer on our block rather than having to use a shuttle truck as we had originally thought). The 6 movers, Nicole from inventory, and most especially Sean our driver were just simply the BEST - they took all the stress out of the day and the experience in general, on a 100 degree day in NYC. We originally had a pretty long window for delivery to NC, but they were able to tell us succinctly at pick up exactly when drop off would be (and we were also lucky to be the last ones loaded on). They treated our stuff (even the cheap stuff) with care and delivered /set up everything they took apart. I cannot rave enough about what a great experience it was, and will continue to recommend them (word of mouth most of all) as I lure more family to follow us down south!

Moving is stressful, and these guys took away all that stress! There was a minor speed bump over the charges which were quickly resolved. Other than that, the crew that was sent was extremely helpful, asking questions all the way about what we wanted. The were neat and respectful of our property. This is our second move with Verity and definitely are happy with our choice. We thought that the price was reasonable for the level of service that we received.

All phone correspondence was met with professionalism and friendly reassurance. The move went flawlessly. The three gentlemen who handled the physical move were polite, fun, and certainly qualified. I was at ease the moment they arrived and everything went quite well in a timely fashion. I’m very appreciative as I’ve moved many times in the past and never had as good an experience as I did with Verity.

From the first meeting with Mike to the very last box delivered to our new house, Verity Van lines made our move the best it could be. Mikes wisdom about packing things up, plus his true empathy about the emotional difficulty this move meant to us, combined to make the very best of the situation. And his employees obviously feel respected as each one of them worked tirelessly...and with humor!...during really hot weather in New York and then in Raleigh, North Carolina.They delivered everything in perfect condition. Nice.During the months of planning and the actual moving, Mike was always readily available to answer any and all questions as we went into uncharted waters for us. Fortunately, Mike and his staff have years of experience to navigate it all.

We’re moved from NYC to Florida, I don’t know why recommended this company to my husband anyway I’m the person who’s did pack all stuff we belong to the boxes and I remember which boxes is because I wrote what inside put on top of a boxes. When the company delivered boxes to new house I tried to open every boxes on next day and I very sure that we lost a boxes of canned food. It’s not in company box that’s why I remember. I tried to contact them back, leave a message to the guy who’s driving a truck even call to the company but they never got back to us. Sal was excellent at giving a Higher estimate of the job which is good so that you really know the maximum cost. He also answered all questions for someone who hasnt moved for 50 years.The team led by Steve, with Eric was superb. I cannot say enough GOOd things about them. They are professionals re the job. They are great communicators and try to honor your requests re the time of delivery. They accommodate requests on moving and placing things and allow you to unpack the wardrobes so that they can remove them.Steve is an excellent driver of a 78ft truck. He was able to back it down a windy street that is .2 of a mile.

Very quick/painless move. Had the house packed in 3 hours and unpacked in about the same (4 bed/2bath). Maintained safe floor protocols to protect the new wood floor. Suggestion would be to have your move consultant and head mover evaluate your property together to ensure everyone is on the same page regarding large items. Also be prepared to buy lunch (even if you planned on it already) for the crew as they will ask you for it. All and all a smooth move and would recommend them.

A company is only as good as its associates. Everyone at Verity has been a pleasure to work with, including Sal and Theresa.Paul and his WONDERFUL team moved us out of our home back in March and our furniture and belongings were stored for us until our new home was ready for move in. We were so nervous since this is the first time weve moved in over 40 years. We were in great hands. Paul and his team ensured everything went smoothly. Fast forward to August and Paul and his team once again delivered an experience that was second to none. Everything came out of storage exactly the way it went in. Paul and his team, again, delivered a perfect experience. They moved larger pieces of furniture up staircases and through narrow doorways. No damage to furniture, walls or doorways. Miraculous! More importantly, Paul and his team were friendly, caring, reassuring and true gentlemen. They made a very stressful move very easy for us. The best!

My furniture was at a storage facility, which you picked up and was a good experience. We then went to Florida. The crew was very nice, the delivery went well about 3hours. The crew was professional, and I would recommend them to anyone.

In preparation for our upcoming move, we asked Verity to remove some pieces of furniture to be held in their storage facility. Victor and Ariel arrived on time and went to work immediately. My husband and I were impressed with their speed and handling of all our items. It was refreshing to watch them move through this initial point in our move. We could not have been more pleased with our experience so far. We hope Victor and Ariel will be available to complete our move in a couple of months.

Wasnt able to get all my items packed up because I was in the hospital the weekend before so they brought boxes to get it all done for me. They were also super efficient in doing so - the whole move really took no more than a few hours. Would recommend 100%!

I had a great experience with Verity Van Lines and Rob and Mike. Rob always responded when I had questions prior to moving and Mike was awesome with the actual move. When they said a time, they meant it. Everything went smoothly. The ONLY reason for the 4 stars is that one of my boxes must have gotten wet somewhere along the way and the contents were transferred to another box. It had in it some sentimental childhood things that were ruined, but it could have been worse and I still highly recommend them. I know things can happen with a long move. I guess I wish I was told about the situation before finding out on my own. I would still use them again and highly recommend them.

Steven and Sal were true professionals. They took extra care packing and unpacking regardless if item said fragile or not. Not one item was even slightly damaged. They took care of everything as if it was there own. I would recommend them to anyone.

Beware! These are not professional movers. They sent me college age kids. They didnt care about my valuables. They stacked all my boxes in the truck from the floor to the roof causing the bottom boxes to crush and break what was in them. If you value your belongings, hire a moving company that has professional movers not kids. After a relative of mine seen my boxes and the way they were loaded, he hired a different company. Be careful.

Everyone i dealt with from the folks on the phone to the packers and the movers were extremely professional. They were friendly and helpful. Explained everything to me and gave me multiple estimates as the amount we were moving kept changing. The day of they were on time and got everything done in the time they quoted me. All items arrived and were unpacked quickly and there were no issues at all. So pleased.

From our consult to our moving day, Verity Van Lines was nothing but amazing! They responded to emails in a timely manner and were punctual the day of our move. Sal booked our trip and was very informative about what to expect from the move--he itemized things that were going and explained the costs to us. He had a terrific personality and was very efficient in helping us move. He helped us with what was a stressful move in Amityville. He was helpful and his team assisted me in packing several things. Furniture was wrapped and packed appropriately. Gino arrived ahead of scheduled time in Charlotte and once again he and his team unpack everything in an efficient and proficient manner. Rob was super accommodating in getting our preferred dates and quickly and calmly solved a logistical problem with a too-large moving van that didnt fit in our cul-de-sac. As to the move itself, Joe P. and his team were rock stars in getting all of our furniture packed and out of two story home, with no damage to walls or furniture. When they arrived, Joe went above and beyond in rearranging things for us so that furniture and fixtures were spaced out correctly, and even provided valuable suggestions as to where he thought the furniture looked the best. I would use Verity again in a heartbeat!

It was a good experience at a time when we were very stressed about moving out of state. Our Long Island house was large and they handled it all quickly and professionally. Their arrival time was on target. Dennis is a nice person and easy going. He is the driver of the truck. He has lots of experience and does Florida trips often.

Dennis, Kyle, and Matt were some of the best movers I’ve ever had. They made the impossible happen on multiple occasions. They fit all of our stuff in a truck I was sure would not fit everything and they fit a couch, treadmill, and huge media unit through our tiny basement door. It took multiple attempts but they managed to do it and I am so grateful! Even though that complication happened, they still finished the move so quickly and seamlessly. The way these guys work together is pretty incredible to watch. You can tell they have a system and that they’ve been working together for over a decade. On top of all that, they are really nice guys. I’m grateful we found them because I don’t know how we would have gotten through this move without them. Thanks guys!

I knew about the company from moving my parents about 40 ears ago. I called and made an appointment for a quote. Sal came to the house he was very professional and Honest with us he said they were booked but would get us moved all he needed was a closing date which at that time could not give him. When we finally got one we called and he got us moved on time. The day they came to move us Joe P showed up with his crew they protected the furniture etc. They told us he would meet us at our new location 2 days later and he was there. they unloaded in 2 hours there was no damage loading or unloading i see why they are around as long as they have been. I WOULD HIGHLY RECCOMEND THEM TO DO YOUR MOVE.

From the first telephone call to set up the move to the delivery out of state, this was the best experience I have ever had with an organization! Rob Johnson helped me organize this move that was a little complex. There was a delivery of a formal dining room set to another town, pack up furniture and boxes for storage to be moved to Florida later in the year, and the final move to Pennsylvania. Chris was the field manager for the first leg of the trip. Tim, Victor, Sean and Ariel were professional, courteous, and perfect in every respect. While it was the first day of a heatwave, they had their face masks on the entire time. When I mentioned to Chris that I was concerned that the leather sofa “may not” fit through the doorway in PA, right away he disassembled the couch and eased my mind! Chris and Tim were great, and the next day they arrrived in Pennsylvania at 7 am sharp. The furniture was set up and reassembled in each room, and they made sure everything was in working order before they left. I am sure the final trip to Florida will be just as easy with Victor as the field manager, and I have no concerns that my possessions will be handled in the same manner. Thank you ALL for making one part of the move smooth and easy. Kudos to the woman who handled the billing and telephone updates, sorry I didn’t write down your name!

Just wanted to compliment everyone at Verity Movers for the great job they did moving us from Long Island to Charlotte North Carolina. The owner Michael met with us and explained everything from prices to packing options. The packers did a great job with our mirrors, paintings and furniture. The moving crew was also a fantastic team of young men who worked all day loading and then unloading on a hot summer week. The never complained once about the job and were very gentle with our stuff. Cant recommend them enough to anyone needing a moving company!

What they did to our possessions was disgraceful. They opened wardrobe boxes from the bottom and stuffed bins, furniture and anything that would fit. They broke furniture damaged steel Cookware and we still dont know what else. I wouldnt let them move rocks for me.

Men worked hard but were very careless - not taking their time in moving our personal items - we had breakage - that cant be replaced on some of our favorite items. Broken glass unique cocktail table - broke the leg off and caused internal damage to our sofa bed that cost more than I got back on the claim. They pay you by the lb. not what the item is worth unless you take their insurance. We took a big loss. Beware.

From start to finish they made my move seemless, fun and quick! My team of men worked so well together. My price was very fair ! My salesman Rob was extremely responsive, i called everyday and he always called me back and always helped out. The movers came early so I was not prepared but they were so patient with me and my family. Nothing broke, every box was handled carefully. They tried their best to put furniture in rooms that they knew it wasn’t going to work just to try and make me happy. They were friendly and worked well together. I would recommend completely!! Chris and Tim arrived at our house 300 miles away exactly at the time they said they would. Extremely efficient and neat in addition to being personable. Placed runners throughout the house and more importantly followed my wifes instructions. Placed items where requested with minimal amount of supervision. Well first let me say that I have lived in Seaford for 36 years. We have used Verity Van Lines in the past, but just for shipping minor things to Florida. This time we enlisted them to move our entire home to Florida. Their salesperson, Sal is wonderful to deal with. Very knowledgeable and super friendly. When moving day came, Chris and his crew showed up exactly on-time. What a great group of guys!!! They seamlessly orchestrated our move. We were AMAZED at this co-ordination and quickness. Care was their #1 priority and boy did we get that. I was so moved by their work, that as soon as they departed, I was compelled to call the office and express by gratitude to these young men. I contacted Verity on the recommendation of a friend who worked for them. I spoke and met with Sal at the Seaford Office several times. He was the best! He was totally professional, knew every detail required to move a household, outlined everything and came to our home and did a thorough walk-through itemizing all our possessions. On top of all that, he has a very pleasing personality that lends itself to being extremely likeable and friendly. Theresa in the office contacted us regarding scheduling and was spot-on. On the appointed day, the Verity Van arrived on time. Mike Zanni and Nicole and 2 gentlemen whose names I cant remember, itemized and tagged everything to be moved and systematically loaded it all into the truck. It took them several hours but I was amazed at the efficiency and cooperation shared amongst them and their wonderful and cheerful personalities that made working with them a total pleasure. I very highly recommend Verity Van Lines for all your moving needs. They removed the stress and anxiety inherent in such an undertaking and I cannot praise them highly enough. You can feel confident and assured that your valuable possessions will be safely moved and arrive intact. Verity Van Lines is a superior moving company!

From the moment we met Sal, we knew we were in good hands. The team packed our entire house in less than a day, and by the end of the next day everything was safely loaded onto the truck and it was on its way. We had to stay on Long Island for an extra week, so they even made sure delivery would not be made before we got to our new home. At the final destination, it was great to see some of the same team unload the moving van. And now for the story that proves Verity goes above and beyond. We never thought of asking for advice, so we arranged for another company to transport our car. Of course, they never showed up, and they never contacted us. The next day I called Sal hoping he could offer some advice, since we were getting on a plane in 24 hours. He called a company he knew, and because of his relationship with them, he let us leave the car at the Verity location, they picked up the car the next day, and delivered it, as promised, to our final destination. So many types of industries depend on repeat business from their customers. But even though this could be the one and only time you use Verity, rest assured they will treat you like you are the most important customer they have ever had.

Sal was wonderful in anticipating what my costs would be. He made sure that he figured heavy so that there were no surprises come moving day and there were none. In fact the cost was less. Paul and his team were professional and saw to my every need. Even re assembled all the beds and made sure that everything worked to my satisfaction. From beginning to end ... everyone at Verity did a tremendous job. The crew had a plan, they communicated well, they worked great as a team. Its was like watching the New England Patriots...100% efficiency!!!My move was out of state and thankfully the move itself was the smoothest thing during this very difficult and tricky transitional period. We just did a move with this company (on the recommendation of a friend) and they were wonderful. The price was reasonable, and the crew that came was quick, professional and took tremendous care of our possessions. I cannot recommend them enough.

Verity recently packed and moved us from Nassau County to southern Florida. We appreciated that the owner provided our estimate, and that they charged a flat fee for all the supplies we needed. This turned out to be 175 boxes, and several large pack of paper. The entire process of packing (thanks, Nicole) and loading (Thanks, Mike) was very well coordinated and executed, and all arrived at our Fl home as expected, with minimal damage.We were advised that the company packed items would be unpacked at the destination, however no personnel other than those unloading were available to do this, and were were somewhat unsure about where the items needed to go, since we couldnt move furniture into the rooms until the flooring was replaced.I believe that Verity would do well to have a single point of contact to better keep customers in the loop before and during the job. While they certainly did what was expected, no one from the office contacted us at any time during the job, and no one has bothered to reach out to see if we were fully satisfied with the work performed. The scope of our unpacking work should have been fully discussed, and additional staff allocated to ensure that the work was completed as pitched

Just wanted to thank Verity Van Lines for the best experience moving. From the initial interview to the final delivery, everything went so well. All the personal were so kind and courteous.Our drivers were the best. They treated our home as if it were their own. Always being careful with moving the furniture to making sure the floors were covered. Always keeping our needs in mind.Moving...there is no other company that compares to Verity. I highly recommend them.

Moving is very demanding but Verity made it easier for us. Sal met with us and gave us an estimate that was right on target as for the boxes and wardrobes we would need. Amazing! He always returned our calls and answered all our questions prior to the moving day. We moved on one of the hottest days of the summer though it was already Sept. 6th. The humidity was in the high 90%. The movers, Dennis (driver), Andrew(driver), Raff, Matt, Brett and Dom worked almost non -stop. They were efficient, professional, and courteous throughout. When it came to unloading, they knew where to place the furniture so it would be centered properly. When asked to make a change, they did not hesitate. A supervisor came to check things out during the move-out and Sal came to the new place to do the same. Everyone was as pleasant as could be. We have already recommended Verity to a relative and to friends who will be moving soon. If you are moving, you should not hesitate to hire Verity.
