Went to pick up ink for my printer for an amazing price. They dont guarantee to have the ink you need. Best to call first. Great customer service & cant beat the prices. The workers are very intelligent about computers, etc. Most will help if you need it & ask
Great place. They are usually very helpful with all of your questions. Always willing to help. They have decent prices and all those hard to find computers/electronic gadgets.
I had enjoyed shopping at re-pc for many years, through many lap top repairs etc. The owner is a great personable guy who even remembered my name. Good prices throughout. BUT. About 8 months ago I was accosted by an employee who accused me of shoplifting. He even put his hands on me but I had nothing and I made it out the door. Oh well..
Good stuff. Got a couple of HDMI cables for $2. And a 4 terabyte hdd for $45. There are some good deals on computers. Plus some 80s electronics. Oh and the history museum was cool displaying old tech.
I have innumerable experiences here that were positive, also some great stories finding just the right part for a nuance project. I have donated here over a dozen times. I did notice a very low quality projector I donated was turned around with a $75 price-tag. Be cognizant of the cost of your purchases here!
Bought a spiffy little PC for a buddy of mine. Super price, nice machine. I was doubtful at first but I am now a fan of RE-PC!
Okay, so I usually go here just because of the great prices. This time I went there with the intent of upgrading various parts of my PC, and they helped me find the right parts for the right price as usual. But this time I had lots of questions, so many I had to make two trips. They not only answered my questions, they figured out how to make my upgrades work without having to spend a lot of extra money.I love this place. RE-PC is the best place in Seattle to get the best PC parts, service, even helpful advice.
Well organized, clean, very helpful employees. Industrial area so make sure you are aware of your surroundings,no public restroom
They have a lot of mostly older stuff, but its not all completely antiquated. There are some useful items that are priced well for sure - XBox 360 or PS3 for $30, various monitors, and EVERY kind of connection that passes current or data. However, they dont have a good return policy and if you spend a lot on an as-is item only to find that it doesnt work then youre out of luck. RecentIy, I bought an old (over 10 years old) processor and an A/V receiver but when I got them home and hooked them up, neither worked. Im crossing my fingers theyll take back the receiver and just charge me their restocking fee (10%-20%), otherwise Im out $75. Thats an expensive paperweight! Its like gambling and the house always wins. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly and I havent quite given up on it yet but, like I mentioned, their basically nonexistent return policy is hard to swallow. Hopefully Ill update this post with good news tomorrow.UPDATE: Life got in the way of my returning the receiver so Im overlooking its purchase/return when considering the overall review of RE-PC. I changed it from 2 stars to 4 stars. The staff are knowledgeable and their selection is pretty wild. They have a bit of everything about 2 or 3 years old and older (not much new selection what-so-ever). Ive got some adapters and cables from them that work fine, an old 2 Core cpu for an older computer I rebuilt that works, a couple sticks of DDR3 for that same build, and a working graphics card to hold me over until the GPU market comes back down to Earth. Its a Gigagbyte 660 OC 2GB and I dont have any complaints about it for $60. All-in-all, Im becoming a fan of the place. Its definitely worth taking a look at their inventory if nothing more than to see the their museum-ish like displays of technologies of yesteryear. Last tip: avoid RE-PC if its a warm day... no A/C and it gets hot as heck in there!
Very good people Theyre kind and knowledgeable I appreciate them
Just really dont understand Linux im sure it would be much better if I did. Nice stuff clean store tech persons dream.
GREG AND OTHER STAFF WILL DECEIVE YOU TO MAKE A SALEIve been coming here for years. I just dropped way more money than I should have on a laptop because the price for the specs seemed really good. I noticed that it was the only one out of around ten that had the lid closed, and I also noticed that they kept shutting it after I opened it...When I asked why it was hundreds of dollars less than the same model on newegg.com (a way better place to buy electronics), and straight up asked what was wrong with it, Greg, the manager I assume, or at least the eldest worker, got hesitant and said that was a valid question and nervously opened the lid. Everything seemed fine. I bought the laptop with $400 I shouldnt have spent because Im losing my income and my housing and need a computer to work to not be homeless. As soon as I tried the laptop *not plugged in* the screen started flickering like a strobe light. Im neurodivergent and have had absence seizures before, and if I was epileptic THIS COULD HAVE SENT ME TO THE HOSPITAL. But +$400 is more important to you than that, isnt it?Its extremely likely that they knew about this issue. Two staff members failed to inform me about this, both of them making a point to walk extra steps and shut the lid of this laptop when all the other ones were left open. The only probably reason they would have done this is because it was flickering on the sales floor and they knew no one would buy it if they saw that. Im a psychology and neuroscience student and I cant imagine any way they wouldnt have known about this issue, especially since they set up the laptops. I asked what was wrong with it, they lied to me, they broke my trust and took advantage of me, and they likely will you too.Im never shopping here again, and Im going to go through a ton of work to upgrade the BIOS, flash new firmware, or tweak the intel settings to get this to work because I dont want to return it and let them deceive another person and get another sale with this machine
Great place they will help me with all your electronics they have a good take back policy
Really cool place filled with cool computer parts and even some retro video game stuff!
You never know what youll find here! Its worth hunting even if you arent looking for anything specific. Its an impressive collection cables, hardware, components, TVs, software, monitors and more! They have it all! Their prices are appropriate for the item and its age. Good deals on everything! Dont expect to find the latest and greatest out on the floor. They recycle your old electronics and you can admire their compilation of vintage tech in their museum.
Just awesome! I came here to find some random PC parts for a project and left with some great goodies. Very well organized, clean with nice prices. The staff was helpful and courteous. Plus there’s a fantastic computer museum! Definitely my new go-to place for hardware and parts.
Dude, if you like tech, building anything yourself, or fixing hardware. This place is like how it felt to be a kid in Toys r Us.
Perfect place for your computer/electronic treasure hunting. This large store has everything you can name it related to computers. The motherboards, laptop screens, SATA controllers and so on. General their price is lower than what you can find on eBay. The store also has spacious parking lot, so dont worry too much about parking.
Good place to go if funds are limited.
Have always loved re-pc. Recycle electronics, and love to browse their electronics bins. Always some interesting stuff. Bins of keyboards, racks of stereos, turn tables, monitors, printers, game controllers, adapters, routers, you name it.Staff is always super friendly and helpful. Have been utilizing there services for over a decade.
This place has pretty much anything you could imagine that you cannot find anywhere anymore because its out of date and they dont make it anymore the place its like a museum, check it out they got it all and staff is super knowledgeable.
I need a lot of computer hardware equipment!Contains used or defective productsDDR2/DDR3/DDR4 computer memory any frequency and any capacityHDD/SSD, any capacity
Great place to recycle electronics. Drop off is quick and easy. Wish I had time to wander through the museum. Looks like they have a lot of good used stuff for sale too. I look forward to returning!
RE-PC has great deals on used computers and computer hardware. I bought a power strip and a few cables during todays visit. Unlike some computer recyclers, RE-PC takes credit cards as well as cash.
I love RE-PC. The is knowledge, friendly service with a smile. I found what I needed at a fraction of the cost I had expected and I can return items if there is a problem.
Places like this are a dying breed and need your support! Instead of just using the online retailer you should check this place out first. I can pay $5 for a weird cable I need online or I can visit the legendary folks at RE-PC and get it for $1. While youre there, shop around! They have so much cool stuff. Theres plenty of cool vintage computer gear to geek out over as well! If youre looking to play around with repair projects or need a weird part for some older hardware this is the place! You can buy your cable modem online for brand new retail money, or, just buy it here!! Theres a whole bin of them for $10 each!
Found the Dell laptop charger I needed for $10. Very fun store to walk around in, lots of throwbacks like Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets PC game.
A center for all things you thought for sure youd have to at least order, and more likely get lucky dredging from eBay. Expansive, eclectic, and fascinating collection. Good service and sanitation, too.
Helpful, friendly techs. Great prices. Not crowded on a Saturday afternoon!
These guys rock. Lots of good advice even through they didnt have what I needed in their case today. Ive built whole computers from RE:PC Parts and have never been anything but satisfied with their quality and value for money.
Its a great place to recycle your old stuff. Loses one star because its very difficult to look at the used merchandise on the website.
Not gonna lie, I HAVE had a couple of bad experiences here -- HOWEVER, I believe they were anomalies resulting from the understandable stress of dealing with unsavory characters that are inextricably tied to the neighborhood (and to any second-hand business, for that matter). And policies like no bags allowed always start any shopping experience in a disgruntled mood. But, in general, the employees utilize extraordinary customer service that goes beyond lifting me from the doldrums of disagreeable policies and raises me into the realm of full satisfaction when I finally walk out the door. This is a business that I like to support whenever possible -- even if it may seem easier at times to find what Im looking for online and have it shipped to my door -- because it offers an invaluable resource that cannot be replicated virtually. Besides almost always finding exactly what Im looking for (and finding it cheaper than anywhere else), I also always stumble across delightful gems that I wouldnt have ever thought about searching for online, but happen to be exactly what Ive been searching for -- one of those things tucked away on the backburner in the recesses of my mind... At any rate, this is a quality store that provides quality products and services -- and if you have problems with anything, they are helpful and happy to resolve just about any issue you raise.
Need things older than what you find at Frys Electronics? This is your place. LCD TVs, DVD players, assorted stereo components, networking equipment, assorted power supplys, and even complete PC or Laptops. If its a bit of an odd part you cant find elsewhere its worth a trip to see. Supply is limited and changes often. And even a small but extensive computer museum dating back to the TI-80, Vic 20, Conmodore 64/PET and further back.
Nothing short of amazing this place had absolutely everything I needed the staff was incredibly helpful and even though what I needed was something very specific and pretty hard to find they handled it no problem very quickly I would recommend this place to anyone that needed any help with any type of computer cellphone laptop anyting amazing amazing amazing I love this place
Excellent store with almost any computer part you need. The service was wonderful and staff was very friendly. The computer museum inside is worth the trip alone.
Good cheap refurbished laptops. This is my 9th one still have the other eight and they last 3-4 years.
Doubt youll find any top of the line hardware here but Ive built a few good computers with parts from here.
Great experience. I had no idea this place existed. Found what I was looking for and saved money. Im a happy guy
Love this place. Has all the old computer parts you could ever want. Cheap too. Recently needed 80 ft of RG6 coaxial cable wire. Was about $25 at home depot but here I got a spool with over 300ft left on it for $15. Sweet!
This is my favorite location! I always get great customer service, and staff are eager to answer any questions Im have!! 👍👍✊
With unbelievable prices and the widest selection of all things silicon based plus cords... Well its close to heaven on earth for this junk collector and armchair nerd...And the staff is technically adept and genuinely interested in helping you accomplish your goal or project using items from their store or the most value based option even if it is not in that store.Thx Re-Pc...
Whats nice and have you need electronic ill will people like to come and shop good customer service
Local computer repair that will work with you and not for you. Had many great experiences there, cant beat the personalized service.
Not only great or crs on computers, but stereo equipment too. Some very high end components have been dropped off for recycle. Every type of dongle or cord imaginable. If you dont see what you need, just ask--the employees are great! I asked about a brand name lossless music player and one for $40 (including cords and SD ). AND, by shopping there, you reused plastic/metal/glass. You can feel like an earth-saving hero while making your tik toks. Good for your wallet and planet!
I love starting tech projects here! Theres some great hardware here for testing/lab environments as well as production settings. Theres also quite a selection of eclectic trinkets! Be sure to check out the little computer history museum inside!
Love coming here with my hubby. Hes got a degree in computer science and networking, and treats it like a candy store. Lol
Great place for taking old electronics for a second life or proper recycling. The museum is great - a walk down memory lane all the way back to grade school for me. Really nice folks working here- very knowledgeable and helpful.
Deep and wide variety of everything electronic.
Took my pc here because I couldn’t figure out what was wrong with it, dropped it off Friday and it was ready for pick up on Monday, the price for fixing it was less the $100 and saved me a lot of time and money trying to replace each part. Highly recommend for your pc repair needs!
Friendly staff and awesome services!
Re-pc is one of my favorite places to visit.. The odds and ends that I can come across is phenomenal.. Im an electronics guy, as with most guys.. And the great thing is that we get to help it stay out of the LANDFILLs... Oh helping to save the planet is so much fun...
Just an incredible store. I went in on a whim because i thought it would be cool to find a small CRT to use as a second monitor, immediately and employee named Cal was able to tell me exactly how I would do such a thing, find a small monitor they had that was perfect, and then show me EXACTLY how to set it up on windows 10 using a computer they had in the store, he genuinely seemed like he was excited for my project and wanted to help. Will be coming back for anything computer related.
Associate was helpful suggesting ways I could reuse some older computer parts with a replacement motherboard.although I purchased a prebuilt computer while I was their.
This is a great Shop to donate your old electronics or find just about anything in the way of electronics; used, new, recycled, or “as-is”. All sorts of treasures, they even have a computer museum!
I usually can find what Im looking for, but not today.
Just went in to get a monitor for my Mac, Cal was super helpful and eager to assist me. I had to go back for an adapter, was also met w above and beyond service.
Very helpful staff-- was recycling some older PCs, and they helped me remove a few hard drives I thought I had already snagged! Had carts to help unload everything, and even helped me get things unloaded!
It was my first time there. And the people there were nice and helpful. I also got a good ideal on a flat screen
Such a great business
Nice and very helpful person always treat me respectfully every time I go there would always recommend it to everyone whos looking for something for their electronics
Great customer service
Ive gone to the 6th Ave location a handful of time, with low needs, and had an unremarkable, okay experience. In working with a client I referred her to Re-PC when her partner broke her laptop. Our agency (a non-profit aka non-government) is offering to buy her a new laptop. The experience she had with the staff was in large disappointing, they made up their mind not to take in information and bent over backwards to not work with her. Instead of exploring alternatives (she asked could I pay by CC over the phone. I am just a few miles away & available to come to pay) they responded that they dont work with government agencies, which we are not.Instead of supporting local community, our agency will be spending hundreds of $ at either Office Depot or Best Buy. If you are a woman, only go here if you dont need staff assistance.
It’s a good place to look for old PC and game console parts.
I bought a TV from here and the picture wasnt to clear. I was able to bring the TV back and replace it with the same size I originally bought. Picture is perfect!! Thank you Jesse❤
Place is great I could spend all day in there
Lowest prices & best selection of all things electronic 👌🤖⚡💯💛
This is a really great place to bring obsolete and unnecessary computer stuff that is clogging up storage space. A new home and purpose is just what this stuff needs, and if it has no future use, then it and be safely recycled so the underlying materials can be safely recycled and reused
This place along with both southcenter and the one RE-PC as a wide range of electronics, parts, new, everything from cords to computers, you want it ( electronically), theyll have it. Along with great customer service.
Love this place. Great help and pricing. Fun to shop here. You never know what they will have.
Super knowledgeable, but not the friendliest staff.
Got a grip o stuff that technophiles can geek out on. Better to reuse than landfill or burn it.
If you have a used computer need this is the place you want to go. They arent going to have the latest memory or CPUs but if you need something like an external USB drive or keyboards, speakers, etc. Go there
I had a wonderful experience at Re-PC Seattle. Cal is extremely supportive and above & beyond to repair my computer on the spot. It got upgraded and he taught me along the way. I cannot thank Cal and his support team enough!!
Best place for that missing part that you dont want to spend a fortune on for a new one. Found the power cord I needed for $10 instead of $50. Looks new to me and works great. Great staff too. Very helpful.
It has everything you dont need and more, but end up buying because you want it.
Great help and they answered all my questions
Cal has been such a help to meHe is always trying to pleaseVery helpful.
This store is all over the place. Some items were a decent deal and some were just priced way too high. No rhyme or reason. Goodwill or Value Village will get you a better deal but the reason why this place gets 5 stars is because if you need it they have it.
This is a must-see for any computer geek that likes to build their own system. Its like a junk yard for computer parts instead of car parts. They also have new stuff, though, and prices are very reasonable for everything. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and can help with any questions. I love rooting around here!
Fantastic place if youre looking for old tech or odds and ends. This would be my first stop if I was in the market for a used pc, as long as I wasnt looking for top-of-the-line hardware. Staff was extremely helpful in trying to find the parts I was trying to find for a custom-made PC case project. Unfortunately they/we couldnt find everything I needed but that is the risk you take when shopping at a place like this. I always love coming here, its a ton of fun browsing through all the stuff they have on display. My only complaint is that I always end up taking 3-4 times longer than I expect to finish my shopping because I screw around for so long looking at everything. That is my fault for being easily distracted and I dont have anything negative to say about this store or the staff working here.
Got a pretty decent tower for an even better price and my music studio is now complete
Im about to move away from Seattle and RE-PC is one of the businesses Ill miss having access to. They have saved my bacon several times over the years and were always helpful in explaining the problem and potential solutions. Extra cudos now for having a good covid procedure in their store.
Cal is great! Give this employee a raise. Super impressed everytime I go there. Everyone there is great. They are sometimes a bit of knowitalls but they really do.
Love the museum! Very helpful staff, reasonable repair rates and service times.
The store is much more organized than I remember it being almost 5 years ago. That doesnt mean clean though, handling used electronics will get your hands dirty real quick. The staff there are very courteous and helpful and even though they arent rocket scientist or certified electricians, some of the employees do know a thing or two and will happily help you till your needs are met and the task is complete.
Wide selection! Great knowledgeable staff!! One could get lost and spend some $$. Buyer beware: A) anything tested is guaranteed to power on; conduct its function is whats in question. B) be aware of your funds and what youre in there for.
Great prices and selection
Great store. Everything you need. Awesome ownership. Just a great place. Wish I had time to volunteer. But donate... they help the community a lot
Better than store in fukwila
