I would give them a 4 if I got a sausage patty like I ordered instead of a plain hamburger patty lol seriously! The atmosphere was cool! Loved our waitress! The food was regular, not the best tasting! Would have been better if I got what I ordered. I would recommend this spot if there’s no wait. Oh! And to top it off it was pink! Raw in the middle of the patty!! And I ordered fried hard well done lol Maybe the cook needs a vacation!
Very eclectic restaurant in an excellent location! The interior of this place could be an attraction on its own! The breakfast menu was plentiful and the food came out quick and hot. The French toast was delicious and so was the hot apple cider I got with it; the full breakfast my partner chose was average and filling. Prices were great considering the quantity and quality of food we recieved. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and didnt hover to let us enjoy the meal. They play movies on a TV and loud music; even at 9am. A must visit for sure, it has such an interesting and unique atmosphere and the staff are awesome!
Very good service and fitting atmosphere, love that theyre still requiring masks (thanks for being extra safe!)The food was good if youre in the mood for some comforting American food. The poutine was good but definitely not Canadian style as the cheese curds were replaced with melted mozzarella. The chicken fried steak was huge and definitely shareable. For me it was a bit heavier than I usually eat (both plates were doused in gravy) but good nonetheless!
Nothing fancy, just good food done right.Jalapeño poppers were massive! 5 in the appetizer order were split between 3 of us.My bourbon bacon blue burger was juicy and tasty. The bacon was crunchy; and while I love a pungent blue cheese, this blue cheese dressing was mild enough for those who arent as certain. The history of the cafe is interesting, and 24/7 availability -- including breakfast -- is very attractive as well.
Used to come here all the time before the pandemic and the food used to be really good but I guess maybe theyve gotten a new cook? Waitress was nice, and the cider was delicious. I like that they have heated outdoor seating.
A friend of mine who lives in Seattle highly recommended this place to me, and I cant thank her enough. Its a unique and fun atmosphere, with friendly staff and fantastic food. The portions are amazing for the price as well. Plus, with its convenient proximity to the Space Needle, it was the perfect place to come as a tourist.
Dark little hole in the wall seedy looking bar. Absolutely DELICIOUS food, and great friendly staff. Stopped by for breakfast, one of the few places open early on a Sunday in the city. Bit of a wait for the food, which was fine, had a chance to flirt and talk with my husband.I got the the custard french toast with fresh fruit and it was phenomenal. My husband got the corn beef hash with eggs over easy, and it was just as good. Plus fresh squeezed orange juice!Bar is VERY dark, but your eyes get use to it, and it fits the vibe.
Expect a wait! But worth it. We ordered the mess. It was sooooo savory. The french toast with the loaded options was a fail. We would still return.Oh and they have a full bar. Outdoor seating.
This place is iconic the food is great very wide selection. Atmosphere was great. Funny note the table/booth my wife and I were in sitting next to each other,I dont know what it was but Im 59 shes 56 and she almost needed a booster seat it was hilarious.
It is a shame they dont have the option of real maple syrup for their great pancakes and waffles. I try to avoid corn syrup and I think all places other than Dennys should avoid it as well.Steve is definitely one of the best servers/managers I have ever experienced - has such a sharp mind, is really in tune with the customers, and communicates expectations in a very timely manner.
Stopped in to grab a drink before a concert. Our bartender, Casey, was awesome! Love this place; cant wait to check out their breakfast tomorrow!
Loved the atmosphere there! Staff was super friendly. Good food. Will definitely be back next time I visit Seattle.
Had very good food the Philly cheesesteak was superb. Staff was very friendly and they followed all covid requirements overall the experience was excellent will definitely be back
Cool diner feel. I sat at the bar and I got the feel of a diner with the look of a bar. I had a great time! Added bonus my food arrived very fast!!
Great place to grab a meal! Our waiter was super nice and could not have been more welcoming to my family. I wish I could remember his name so I could give him credit for doing such an awesome job. The food was great and the prices decent for Seattle. There is something for everyone on that menu! We will absolutely return and I recommend The 5 Point Cafe if youre looking for food within in a walkable distance from the Seattle Center.
I go here whenever in town. Never disappoints. Great greasy spoon. This last time I had quite possibly the best corn beef hash I have had anywhere. Corn beef was in big tasty chunks, mixed with delicious potatoes, and topped with 2 over easy eggs. Had some man-mosas (mimosa with a shot of vodka) to wash it down. Usually come here for breakfast, but also a great midnight stop.
Enjoyed our dinner very much and service was friendly. Our food was served quickly and we especially liked the fried chief curds. The restaurant has a friendly neighborhood pub feeling and we felt welcomed. The breakfast looks amazing and I wish I would have had a chance to try it.
Visiting Seattlw with the family and we needed breakfast and this place was close to our Airbnb. Pleasantly surprised. Had a great breakfast.
Fast & friendly service good food i would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants good food without the wait go and see for yourself you wont be disapounted
Great portions, great price, and great coffee! Overall an awesome place for breakfast… took a star away for cleanliness and loud music, but that’s just not my vibe. Other people might love it though!
I wouldnt go back. Food and service was average at best. All. The food came out cold. But it all tasted fine, but underwhelming.
Great dive bar... The marys were legit and the breakfast was huge. Loved it.
Historical pub. They have limited but good vegan options. It’s always packed.
This restaurant/bar is a diamond in the rough!! We’re a group of New Hampshire tourists visiting family and this place was our favorite restaurant we ate at in Washington! Our server was amazing, so fun and energetic (I wish I got his name). My son is the pickiest eater and he was able to get pancakes and French fries for dinner and ate the whole thing !! Best part was when we were leaving my kids were dancing on the sidewalk and the bartenders came out and busted a few moves with them! They were over the moon!! 10/10 would recommend! Food was amazing as well!
Cute little tavern not far from the space needle. Tons of breakfast options. One side is a full bar. Outdoor/indoor seating. Food hit the spot. Bonus: mens bathroom has a mirrored window to see the top of the space needle
Had the Philly Cheese Steak. Wow! The bread, the meat & toppings. It was the best I have ever had. So delicious & tastes so fresh! Atmosphere was great! Enjoyed every moment & will definitely go back
Love the atmosphere, the staff was super laid back and friendly, and the food was great. Im from the south, so I love that the fish in my fish n chips was actually crunchy. The waiter even shared my dislike of coleslaw, so huge plus :) definitely recommend.
Really good food here. Yeah its a greasy spoon but boy is it worth it! $$
Just go here! I understand this place is not for everyone (witnessed a customer berating an employee for the long wait, totally unacceptable and staff handled it perfect) took my 12 year daughter here for her first time in Seattle, she now compares every breakfast to the legendary 5 Point! Also within walking distance to Music Museum and Space Needle - Great music, eclectic memorabilia on the walls, food was superb, staff was busy, but couldn’t have been better - Will plan a visit every time we visit Seattle!
The 🥝🥑 food is the bomb and its cooked when and the way you order it...FRESH AND 🔥
Grant wasnt that great. Wasnt allowed to play pull tabs because they were too busy. Too much hype but the food was just ok. I was told later that its a better place to go to for food after bar scene is compete
The food was great, the coffee was good, just a little on the cool side and the ambience was ok. The music was too loud, but that must be anticipated these days unfortunately.
Our server Alex was AMaZiNG! We came in for a late night bite and he made some food and beer suggestions (both were amazingly good). The food, atmosphere, music, service, and location were all 5 stars. Recommend the tater tots and their dark ales. Give this guy a raise! LOL definitely will be coming back here when we are in town and recommending it to others.
Never had a bad experience here. Open late - great food - cool music I swear this is my go to for literally any night. Blessed to have this place in Seattle
We ordered the cream meat and the smoked salmon eggs Benedicts and shared them. They were amazing. The Bloody Mary was really good as well. The staff were super friendly. We had a great time. We wished we had gone earlier in our trip so we wouldve known to go back again. Next time well go for sure. Its well worth the wait.
Salmon benedict was life changing. Service was awesome as well.
Loved the meat loaf and veggies! So close to the space needle as well. Really cool atmosphere and really American style place. Everything was perfect :)
A surprising amount of quality vegetarian and vegan options. Everything tasted amazing.Wish they had gluten free buns available.
Wonderful southern offerings. We had a great time sitting outside in the street on a crisp fall day. The food was impeccable, really good seafood etouffe.
Stopped by for a late dinner on a Friday night and loved it so much I had to come back for Breakfast in the morning. The atmosphere here is really chill and the servers are personable. The eggs Benedict is delicious! I was amazed at the prices for such large tasty portions. You can’t beat the morning happy hour deals either. If I lived in Seattle this would be one of my hidden gems.
The atmosphere was great and the staff was so chill and super kind. Really loved their breakfast and the overall vibe. I totally recommend the french toast and the coffee.
The lukewarm reviews had kept this place off our “must try” list until we decided to swing by on a lark for dinner. We appreciated the ability to sit outside and the service, which was both friendly and attentive. We had the bleu burger, jalapeño poppers, and the happy hour burger, all of which hit exactly the notes we wanted them to hit. The draft beer selection was just okay, but passable. The environment was a little grunge, but that’s part of its charm. Ultimately, we left feeling this was a good place to visit when you’re craving diner/pub fare and would visit again. From our conversation with the waiter we gathered that the 5 Point is known for its all-day breakfast. Most of the negative to neutral reviews I’ve seen seem to entail the breakfast choices. So, in the name of science, we might drop by again to see how it compares to the lunch/dinner options.
Breakfast sandwich and hash browns were great, staff was awesome! This is a real throwback type of diner with a cool vibe. Can’t wait to come back!
Enjoyed the dinner there. I had the 8oz steak which came with mashed potatoes and steamed veggies with a pint of draft lager. My wife had the chicken burger and fries. Dessert was a strawberry rhubarb pie. Service by Ziggy good who helped get us through the labarynthian menu typical of Jersian diners and dive bars. Turned out that he was from a town in remote Pennsylvania that my wife used to vacation at with her family in the 1970s. Ha what are the chances of that happening?
Great dive with good food. Had no issues with service. Food came pretty quick as well. Would love to come back some time. Just bring a flashlight to read the menu.
Fun atmosphere, but unimpressed by the food. Ordered an eggs benedict the day after a 20 mile hike (so I wasnt being picky). Hash browns were a combination of greasy and soggy after the first browned layer, egg wasnt poached quite right (there was some raw egg white oozing around), a very thin slice of not-that-delicious ham on the muffin.
We enjoyed our time, our meal, and our server very much! They have poutine on the menu which is one of my all time favorite foods, so I was super excited about that! The food came quickly and we also weren’t rushed which is a really great quality to find in a restaurant. We would’ve given 5 starts except as we walked out, their sign got knocked over, presumably by the wind, since neither one of us even brushed against it, and one of the people working there came out and very rudely and passive aggressively said “don’t worry about it, I’ll pick up the sign”. It was completely unnecessary to do and he spoke without having any understanding of what had actually happened. If this guy hadn’t let his emotions get the best of him, this review would’ve been 5 stars because the food and the ambiance was exactly what you’d look for in a place like this! I guess just don’t knock the sign over if you go and you should have a pleasant experience!
Great food at reasonable prices - an easy place to stop for good food without getting ripped off near the needle. Ziggy was a great server and knew the menu inside and out. He was very helpful with vegan options - just ask and they can make you an awesome vegan burger with cheese and fake bacon!
Awesome staff and atmosphere. The Brass Monkey is the best!
Great place to stop for breakfast with breakfast, lunch and dinner served all day. There was a little line but it wasnt bad. The food was great and hit the spot, and they have poutine!Atmosphere is very quirky, tongue In cheek
We came here on a Monday morning. It was very busy and under staffed so the wait was long. But the food was SO worth it. We ordered two kinds of Eggs Benedict, custard French toast, vegetarian patty burger, biscuits with gravy and omelettes. Every entree was good. The biscuits were the only item that we did not like. Highly recommended for a hearty breakfast!!
Super good food. Never had impossible chicken fried steak. Out of this world. Service was a bit slow, I think we waited 30 mins with empty plates and our server was nowhere in sight. They may have gone to lunch or something. Not a big deal. Id definitely return on my next trip to Seattle!
The food was delicious! Their bloody Marys were also better than most places. The only problem is we were eating in the dark. It was SO dark where the booths were, could barely even see our food. Need more lighting.
