Disappointing donuts but service was good and their cappuccino is not bad. Picked up a dozen sugar cinnamon mini donuts to satisfy my mini donut craving. Given it was at the end of the day and pretty slim pickings, I should have known better - especially for $1 per teeny donut thats literally like 1.5 inches in diameter! The consistency was a bit too cakey for my liking but for the most part just okay. What was odd is that some were a bit more dense and dry so didnt taste the freshest. They really shouldnt sell less then fresh donuts or offer an end of day pricing after a certain time.

This was our favorite doughnut shop...I frequently stop in with my two little boys for a sweet treat or as a special reward for them. Unfortunately our last trip will mark the end of our patronage until their nonsensical policies are changed. 10/2 My 4 year old was denied use of the toilet because the restroom is closed to the public. I pushed back that HEY GUYS... IM NOT THE PUBLIC, IM A CUSTOMER.This was an emergency situation and could have been disastrous had he not been able to hold it until we reached home (loyal heights). Thankfully he did!I called the following day and spoke to an assistant-manager who was apologetic, trying his best to make me understand that their upper management make these policies (for COVID safety) and wanted to offer me complimentary items to compensate the inconvenience. NO. That isnt the point! Youre making your customers into the enemy. Thats wrong!!Heres a thought- What would you have done if hed had an accident in your store because you wouldnt let him use the toilet? Answer- Youd be cleaning his urine off the floor instead of doing your usual cleaning of the restroom. 🤔As a buisness owner working in Healthcare, I understand COVID concerns but also am very aware that properly sanitizing surfaces along with mask requirements will keep your buisness safe for EVERYONE. You cant treat your customers like that and expect theyll keep returning. We will have to find a new go-to as long as these kind of policies are in effect. Sorry boys, no more Mighty-O 😔

Delicious, perfectly glazed yet guilt-free donuts. They didnt have a creme filled option which is my default choice, and they are a little pricey but it was a good treat. The barista on staff also helped about five people in the fifteen minutes I was here, very quick service. Could have been more friendly and cleaner inside. Sweet hang out or meeting spot, cant miss the O!

Can I point out the absurdity in Mighty-O (and other snarky hipster Seattle establishments in general) requiring everyone, vaxxed or not, to continue to wear masks in their open-air establishment? This apparently is out of sanitation concerns but its still cool if you want to bring your unneutered DOG inside because you know, dogs are totally sanitary right?! So typical of the sorry state of Seattle these days in general. Also, the barista is suuuuper slow. It took the guy 5-7 minutes to turn out a couple small lattes. Not worth the price.

MY. FAVORITE. DONUTS.I feel good about eating Mighty-O donuts and its not because they are made with organic ingredients (even though organic is a very nice quality), its their donut texture and glaze.Mighty-O donuts are close to the texture of a cake donut, but IMO have a unique texture. Theyre not like those deep-fried / oily donuts from the other famous donut chain in town. Mighty-Os donut glaze melts in your mouth. As far as flavors go: The plain Cinnamon Sugar donut is pretty darn perfect – my go-to. Im also partial to the Good Ol Glazed and even their Sprinkles donut (which I never thought was possible), but the sprinkles when mixed with the glaze gives the donut a really nice tooth to each bite.Mighty-O donuts are my favorite holiday tradition. I buy myself a dozen or so every year to build a cake out of for my birthday.

We get donuts here weekly - at first I absolutely loved them but as time has gone on I feel as if they are becoming bland and losing lots of flavor. I’m wondering if this is due to making large quantities with people ordering for delivery during quarantine. The lemon poppyseed is still really great because it’s the glaze that packs the punch. Will continue to come because my kids love them but hoping they get their zest back!

I called this Mighty-Os bright and early this morning and asked for help making my 6 month anniversary with my partner special. I set up a scavenger hunt around Ballard for my partner and pre-ordered a 1/2 dozen donuts as part of the adventure. I asked the server over the phone to write Happy Half Dozen on the box. Destiny went above and beyond to make sure their hand writing was perfect-- they used two colors and everything. Id heard of a bakers dozen before, but I was not expecting a seventh donut in my box as an extra gift, as well. This Mighty-Os has a treasure in that employee. Destiny was genuinely happy to be a part of this surprise for my partner and went out of their way to congratulate him when he came into the shop to pick up his donuts. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Destiny! He loved today.

Vegan Donut? Seriously?! Yes!!!Im immediately biased against anything vegan, but nothing will dissuade me from trying a donut. Mighty-O does not disappoint, particularly with the low expectation you have going into a vegan donut shop. Thankfully the sugar is there, and also an ephemeral crispy texture that treats me well. The core flavor though does ride the delicate balance of being enjoyable and off-putting at the same time. This is less of an issue in the chocolate varieties, which I recommend. For donuts, Ive got to be hard pressed to rate less than 5 stars, but my experience here, along with my sons feedback, tells me that while they will do in a pinch, these are wannabe doughnuts and more novelty than superbly delicious. Still, they are donuts, so 4 stars for you.

Yay for all vegan donuts. Wish they did more yeast-based ones and less cake, but it seems they only bake once a day and cake will obviously last longer. Half off during the final hour but the yeast donuts do not hold up if there are any left. Also very pricey as far as donuts go, but all organic, which obviously increases cost.

I just wanted to share my experience that I had at the Ballard mighty o the other day. I walked in to pick up an order of donuts for my office I work at (as requested by my boss, she had placed and paid for the order over the phone.) As my coworker and I walked up to the counter and told the employees we had a pick up order under our doctors name. The manager Katie immediately snapped at us, with a lot of attitude, saying she didn’t have any orders until 7:30 and that it would at least take an hour to brew the coffee. I told her we were only getting donuts not coffee. As the male employee tried to say something she immediately put her hand in his face to stop him from talking and snapped back saying “what is your order number then?” We told her we didn’t have an order number just a name and she said “WHATS THE NAME!” We told her for a second time and again and she rudely responded “write it down” and shoved a note pad forward. As she went to the back my coworker and I immediately looked at each other and said “wow she must hate her job”. When she came back she said (again very rudely) “we don’t have anything for that name since 2017!, You don’t have an order number?!?!” We said we didn’t as our boss didn’t give us one. We asked if she could see if it’s under [company name] instead? She looked at us dead in the eye and repeated slowly like we were stupid and didn’t hear her “SHE. HASNT. PLACED. AN. ORDER. SINCE. TWENTY. SEVEN. TEEN!” At this point I was so fed up with how she was talking to us, I looked at her back in her eyes and I said “I. get. that. Can you check under [company name]?” I then said “I don’t understand why you are being so rude” she said “You don’t have an order number or anything?!?” And I said “You are being completely unprofessional and rude right now! And it is absolutely uncalled for” She looked at me and laughed and turned around to go to the back. I was livid. I just didn’t understand how someone in the customer service industry could be so blatantly rude and be speaking to us like this. I’ve never felt so disrespected in my life. I have been in customer service for many many years and I wouldn’t ever have spoken anyone like this. When she came back out she said (a lot nicer this time) “we actually have an order for tomorrow but could put it together in 30min”. We had to get to work so we said someone would come back to get them.I am not expecting anyone to get fired over this but I would hope that this manager would be severely talked to about how she is speaking to customers and be told that this is completely unprofessional and unacceptable. My coworker and I are 25 and 24 so we do look young and I feel maybe this is why she was speaking to us in this manner. But I don’t care what age you are no one should ever be spoken to the way Katie spoke to us. I am glad I said something, I could see I caught her off guard like she’s done this before and no one has spoken back to her like I did. She needed to know that she can’t talk to people like that and get away with it.I wanted to share this because it was the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had and I would hope it wouldn’t happen to anyone else no matter who they are or how young they are.
