This is absolutely an amazing little place. The coffee is outstanding and they make a great mocha. It comes standard with four shots which is very nice. But the star of the show The reason why I will always keep coming back is the donuts. The donuts are the best in Seattle and I think are in the top three at Ive ever had. And Ive eaten a lot of donuts. The place is very small so you wont be able to sit down but you can get some great coffee and donuts to go.
I wanted to post a food pic but it looked so good I couldnt stop. I think I might become a regular. Prices were decent. Food is similar to a cafe in Portland I loved.
Most delicious donuts in Seattle! They look dense but are so soft and luxurious. The dough itself is so fluffy and the flavors are creative yet nostalgic.
Incredibly unique experience with great flavors and delicious seasonal combinations. The texture of these donuts is AMAZING! One of a kind donut eatery!
Adorable and delicious. No seating, great for to-go. Unparalleled friendliness. Delicious and beautiful donuts made daily.Great for parties- if you need to head to work fast and need more than a half dozen I’d call in 15-30 min early and they will get it ready for you.
Just to update, Ive tried lots of places in Seattle and this is really my favorite place for donuts. Ive seen the reviews about service, but Ive only experienced very friendly staff myself.Love this place! Delicious donuts, good coffee, friendly staff. Got a dozen to share at the office and people were loving them!!!
Thoroughly enjoyed this place. Friendly service and great coffee. Highly recommend the Giant Egg Sandwich!
I already thought these were the best doughnuts Ive had in Seattle... And then I got them when they were WARM. I literally dont think Ill be able to enjoy anything else in my life anymore.
Wonderful donuts. Small location but dont be fooled. Very very good
I always hang out with my friends in this coffee shop because we believe that they have the best coffee in town. You must try!
Wonderful coffee and homemade doughnuts! The staff are kind and make delightful drinks. Coming back for sure!
Get the baklava doughnut when they have it. You wont regret it. Coffee is great too!
The coffee is really good but their donuts are absolutely the best. I’ve travelled to many states and countries, tasted famous NYC donuts, etc and none of them come close. A must have.
Best donuts around. Super filling and they taste phenomenal. They make their donuts daily and are super fresh. Its like eating a little piece of heaven!I recommend the Lemon Pistashio donut here if they have any.
Stopped into Tempesta for a latte and a chai tea latte for my wife. The location was clean, and the donuts looked good. Didn’t grab a donut as we had already eaten. My latte was not good, and definitely wasn’t visually appealing. I’m always weary of baristas that don’t put any effort into doing even a basic pour design when serving a latte. This was just hot milk dumped into a paper cup with some espresso, with very little concern for any sort of ratios. My wife’s chai tea latte was the worst coffee drink I’ve ever had, and had no flavor. We threw it away after only one drink. Stay away if you’re looking for espresso beverages!
Literally the best donuts you’ll ever eat and great coffee to boot. It’s a good thing I don’t live super close because I would be there way too much lol.
I work close-by and this is my new morning stop on my way to the office! The coffee and espresso drinks are much better and cheaper than Starbucks. The food is great (definitely give the donuts & breakfast sandwich a try) and everyone who works there is great to talk to.A fantastic coffee & snack stop!
Gourmet donuts that are yeasty and substantial, almost cronut-like. They have several interesting flavors, but I think my favorite was the baklava (candied walnuts and honey/orange-flavored glaze).
Great coffee and donuts service is outstanding as well a word of warning however their coffee lids stink they dont form a good seal allowing coffee to drip past the lid the lids will simply pop off on you as well they really need a better Lid!!
I go to this place religiously and generally get pretty good service. It wasnt until I asked for a glass of water aside from my coffee, that the barista responded that would be 2 dollars extra- Excuse me? Water is free and I just paid over two dollars for a small coffee (which is clearly over paying already!). The coffee is not bad and the donuts are pretty decent but charging for water is ridiculous! Not to mention the baristas customer service was pretty mediocre as well.
Today I went to Tempesta Coffee with my partner. I orded drip coffee with whipped cream because I had had it for the first time at the Whiskey Bar last night & it was delicious. I added two packets of sugar to the coffee and then gave it to the barista for the whipped cream. It sat there for less than a minute while I was helping my partner decide what drink to get. I turned toward my cup of coffee and it looked like the last squirt of whipped cream from those metal homemade whipped cream containers. I politely asked the barista if she ran out of whipped cream and honestly I dont remember what she said. I looked at the very little thin layer of whipped cream in my cup and she made a comment that she put the normal amount (3 scoops) of whipped cream in the cup. She then implied that I let the coffee sit on the counter long enough for the cream to melt (which I didnt). She then went on to say that she didnt even charge charge me for the whipped cream and told me that they usually charge for it. I told her that Ive never been charged for whipped cream before. To add to that, I would have happily paid for it seeing as how thats what I went there to buy anyway - coffee w/whip. I didnt need charity or to have it being free - used against me as I stirred the tiny amount of whip into the coffee. A simple, I can add more but I will need to charge you for it or yeah, I just ran out ... Would have been great...instead she made it out that my perception of the lack of whipped cream was wrong and that I should be grateful because she didnt charge me for it. I walked out and told her to have a good life. She wont have to worry about putting whip on my coffee ever again. The one star is for the drip - its good.- former barista
Outstanding donuts. Seriously underrated. $2 each...can’t beat it
Great looking donut selection but the espresso drink I had was ok for my first day in Seattle.
Cute spot, but they can’t make a dry cappuccino
Oh wow, the peach fritters and lemon donut were amazing. Coffee wasnt half bad either. Go on treat yourself.
Are you kidding?! The difference between Tempesta and Starbucks is EVERYTHING in the store! In town for the weekend and we chose this over SB... best decision. Best Georgian/Azerbaijani barista ever, say hi!
For real though. By far, the best donuts in Seattle. Slightly sour dough, well fried with balanced and flavorful toppings. Worth traveling across town.
Some of the best doughnuts Ive ever had, anywhere. Coffee was good and the woman working was very friendly, appreciated the great customer service.
So Awesome! Best doughnuts around. Dont waste your time at top pot ( I mean top pot is ok). The coffee is also great plus they give you more shots than most coffee shots and its cheaper!Pistachio lemon glazed, cant go wrong.
Amazing doughnuts. Will definitely come back for more of these. But worst drip coffee Ive ever tasted. It was either completely burnt or they had the incorrect ratio of grounds to water.
Somehow their lattes are under $3, and actual good. 100% recommend.
Walked in through a wide open door at 3:02pm and was curtly told I couldnt get a coffee because they were closed. Um. What? I guess they must have closed at 3? Maybe at least shut the door if your closed? Also, if you close shop at 3pm in downtown Seattle Ill be amazed if you stay open long. I was not impressed that they wouldnt take 3 minutes to make a coffee for me 2 minutes after closing, and I wont be back.
Great local coffee. Make these homemade Donuts. Close daily at 3,pm.
Possibly the best doughnuts Ive had in the city. Reaching toward Blue Star PDX level.
Much more about the donuts then the coffee but the donuts truly SLAP!
The barista recommended the Nico and it was very good!
Delicious, fresh doughnuts and coffee in a charmingly decorated corner shop.
Best barista Ive ever seen!!
Best coffee n doughnuts in town
Delicious donuts, coffee, and wonderful staff! Definitely on the list to visit again.
Amazing iced Americanos with 4 shots of espresso for less than $3.00 among with arguably the best doughnuts in Seattle make this cafe a must.
What a wonderful surprise to find this new spot in Belltown! I had a wonderful americano and and even more spectacular almond donut on my walk to work this morning. The barista and owner were both in the shop and were just lovely to chat with. This is going to be a great addition to the neighborhood.
The donuts are *amazing*! Just dont make the mistake I made and only buy one... 🍩🍩 2 donut minimum!
Coffee shop on the corner next to Orfeo. Coffee was good but their artisan donuts were insanely good.
The best donuts ever! Really, youll never eat a top pot donut again after this.
Cafe Tempesta (drink) was pretty awesome!
Wonderful donuts! Good espresso.
Best donuts Ive ever had!
Unreal doughnuts. Easily the best Ive had in Seattle.
Great coffee and donut holes.👍👍👍
Awesome donuts with great coffee for cheap.
Happened upon this little gem while en-route to Westlake station for our commute to Sea-Tac. The barista was absolutely lovely. We were warmly greeted, she pulled a beautiful espresso and the donuts are dee-lish! Our visit really set the tone for the day. I look forward to returning whenever were next in Seattle.
Amazing! Real doughnuts at last! Thank you.
Mediocre coffee, but the best donuts I’ve ever had
Ive always been underwhelmed when I came here for coffee, donuts, or breakfast sandwiches. Not a great choice if youre in a hurry.
Delicious short cup specialties
The donuts are in a league of their own!
Pretty cool place, good coffee
Delicious doughnuts and super friendly staff!!
This is must see for coffee and donuts in Seattle! Dont miss this little gem.
Excellent yeast donuts that arent too sugary, friendly service. Highly recommeneded for a stop in!
