Went in for the first time to browse the selection, ended up not finding anything I wanted to try. As I was waiting and browsing by the register while my friends finished checking out, the woman rudely asked me for my ID. I explained I wasn’t buying anything and she was super aggressive about still needing my ID. It was clear she thought I was underage and had my friends buying alcohol for me. Super bad vibes, was extremely accusatory towards me, ABSOLUTELY not coming back

Without a reservation, we arrived in the room and shared a large table. The flexibility, fast, cheerful, and expert service I appreciated. You can have glass wines or browse the wine chamber and select yourself a bottle. Were going to come back and recommend it to my family and friends!

Im in often, and usually without incident. However, last Friday I stopped in for some White Claws and the cashier wouldnt stop staring at me. Granted I was wearing my tight bicycle shorts, but still. If anyone there insists on checking out my top notch attire, just watch your security system footage.

Excellent liquor store and mini mart. Get your growlers filled, buy any kind of snack or flavorful beverage you can imagine, choose from a nice selection of bottled beers, wines, liquors, and mixers. Friendly staff and FREE PARKING in the adjacent garage. Cant beat that!

The selection here is ridiculous (read: really, really good). For everything. AND, the cashier rang me up on one register and a female customer on another register simultaneously—he had to’ve been from the future. ALSO, he gave us complements as if we were together. For example, he said “Are you two together? Oh you should be. What a great looking couple you two would make!”See? Totally from the m*****f****** future!

Everything in this store is a 50-100% markup from other liquor stores in the area. Truly highway robbery.

They do tasting on Fridays and have a growler fill up station. Love that have extensive local options. I feel like I can easily spend an hour looking around at everything.

Looks like a regular old liquor store they have plenty of booze they dont have anything I like theyre not selling any of that cheap stuff for us poor guys, I guess I cant say anything good or anything bad about it its just not my style.

A little on the pricy side for some items, but you cant beat the unique selection and info signs. Also, free parking garage in the middle of a busy Seattle area makes it very convenient.

They had stopped selling “Shipwreck” Coconut Rum but when I returned nearly a year later, they had ordered more and called me a week later to let me know it was behind the counter for me.Although I picked it up a week or so later, it was still behind the counter with MY NAME on it!LISA and friends @NWL&W are super accommodating and superbly awesome.The first red wine Lisa highly recommended with no headache side effects is now my go-to red wine La Fleur. Yum 😋I’m fortunate that they ARE my friendly neighborhood liquor and wine store.This is Love. Gratitudes!

Hi Friend is the way Twan the owner greets me everytime I come in. The parking is a little funky, but I know when I go in its worth it. They have great prices, new products to try, as well as a revolving door of discounted drinks.I will always speak highly of the Monroe liquor store and would rather shop their for my alcoholic beverage needs.5/5 STARS RECOMMENDED 🌟

I gave 2 stars because they have a wide selection but they are way overpriced. I bought 2 items and my total was $92.50. Looked at Total Wine and you can get the same products for $60 (taxes included). I wanted to support a smaller business but I wont be back.

Great selection and very nice employees. It is in a sketchy area, though, so be careful at night.

Google what you are buying to make sure you aren’t being price gouged. He is selling Blantons for $250. It’s $70 at Total Wine. Seems like they make up prices as they go. Anything that seems even a bit rare he will jack up the price significantly.

Items are definitely pricier than some other places but they have a great selection. They carry some products that I have not been able to find elsewhere for making cocktails.

Unassuming store front with an excellent selection, especially the beer. Pricing is about on par for other beer shops in town. Definitely will be back here.

The prices are high but the neighborhood is expensive so I guess thats what you would expect. This place gets 4 stars for actually having parking. It seems like a modern miracle for a business to actually provide parking so kudos for at least having that. The selection was also pretty good for a liquor store of its size.

Solid little store. They dont have the biggest selection, since the location is small. But they have a couple of big wins. They have parking! This is a big deal on Capital Hill. They also try to stock a solid collection of good quality liquor. They have a large selection of wine. Prices were normal, I saw a couple of nice sale items. If your on the hill, this is a good place for alcohol.

Liquor is insanely expensive (30-40% more than QFC or Total Wine). Just as an example, a bottle of tequila I regularly buy for $30-35 before tax is $50 before tax here...

The owner is always really friendly and the selection is awesome. The markup is insane, however, and the employees can kick rocks. Ive never had a pleasant interaction with anyone who works there, other than the owner. I only go there if I really cant find what I want, otherwise, I stay away.

Called weeks in advance inquiring about a limited edition Scotch. Was told that it was on order and that they would notify me when it was in stock and place one on hold for me.When I went to pick up the order, they rung it up at DOUBLE the online MSRP. The cashier tried telling me that it was illegal to buy liquor online and have it shipped, which is why they have such a high price (thats an outright lie).I wish I had read the other reviews for this location where everyone is saying how much of a rip-off this place is.+1 star for placing the item on hold and notifying me

Not having every liquor imaginable

Has a really good selection of liquor. Unfortunately this place overcharges like crazy for stuff that you can find at total wine for half the price. Example: They are charging $199 for Blantons bourbon when you can get it at Total wine for $79. As much as i want to support local shops, this place is just a rip off.

Theres a new privately owned liquor store in this same store front, and these are purveyors of the most earnest stock. If its commercially order-able in the States, I highly recommend talking to them. Theyre all about stocking to customer, and they are actively trying to provide the best selection in the city. Pretty good array of absinthe, too, if youre into that sort of thing.

Thoughtful selection of wines. Not a giant inventory but great choices both import and domestic. Notable examples include Leonetti cab, several Burgundy and Rhone selections, as well as some budget priced wines.

Unsafe business practices. If you are wearing a mask they will make you take it off. Very irresponsible policy that could lead to the spread of covid-19. Avoid if you have asthma or have a compromised immune system!

Rather smallish Northwest Liquor and Wine store compared to others the aisles are so small that you are bumping into people left and right, and if you stop to inspect something you are blocking traffic. Overall has the sense of being overprices but I do feel that the quality is good for certain items which bring me here, but typically I dont make this a mainstay of all shopping. Good for: Chocolate, cheese, produce, upgrade party snacks, beers. Not a great deli.

Been to many liquor stores in the area and this has to be the worst for customer service. No greeting, no smile and certainly no customer service. When I got to the cashier, Robert simply grabbed my purchases and started stuffing them in a bag. No hello, and certainly no friendly vibe. I made a comment about service and as I walked out, Daniil chased after me calling me profanities I cant repeat. If youre a professional or family man, this is not the place for you. If youre used to the rough neighborhood vibe, youll feel right at home here. I dont write reviews very often but felt compelled to warn others about the service here. I certainly have no other motive to write this than to state my opinion and hopefully stray people to the many other stores in the area. They have a great selection but I would easily forego that for better customer service.

A friend living in this neighbourhood introduced me to this place, and Ive always had a good experience here. Theres lots of affordable alcohol (beer, wine, whiskey, spirits, imported liquers and more), and its one of the few places that stock shooters. Have bought moet, perrier-jouet bottles for $45 - 65/each.I also love their international selections from Europe, Japan, and Korea ($12/chum churum). Might not compare to H-Mart, but for a liquor store, its a decent rack.Theres also aisles dedicated to mixers and other drinks, some already chilled.Finally, their staff service is always excellent. Frequently friendly, helpful, and quite funny, its what really stands out about this business I can trust.
