Love this place! If youre in to building plastic model kits, there is no other place in the area that even comes close to their selection. In addition to an unsurpassed selection of model kits ranging from common to rare, they have an amazing selection of paints and misc. consumables.

Fantastic little shop! Obviously labor of love for the owner, who was very friendly and knowledgeable. Nice selection of horror models, amazing selection of planes, tanks and cars. A few anime models. And great selection of modeling supplies. Also, cute dogs! A little bit of a drive from where I live, but definitely worth it.

One of last, if not the last, privately owned hobby shops, in Seattle, dedicated, solely, to plastic model kits. The store looks small, but is packed, floor to ceiling, with the everything from the latest stuff to vintage kits, mostly armour, aircraft, automobiles and sci-fi. Its also stocked with a large variety of kit building supplies and model paints of all sorts. Its not unheard of to lose track of time browsing through the merchandise, and typically buying way more than you came in for. The owner offers advice freely, honed from years of experience, he and his puppy always welcome you with friendly greeting. Skyway Model Shop is a destination on its own and the place to go to get your plastic model kit geek on.

First time to visit. Excellent service. The selection of models is wonderful. Easy to spend an hour or 2 there just looking. Its a 40 minute drive for me but well worth it!

Excellent selection! The store is a bit unassuming, but once you get inside you find its pretty well organized and they have everything from Car models to ships and even Star Trek, Star Wars and Gundam! Any fan of models should check out the store and see what they can find. There are some rare and out of print models at a very reasonable price.

One of the last dinosaurs! Great selection of armor, planes, cars and sic fi. Lots of high-end armor kits. The guys who own the place are modelers themselves and can answer any questions with ease. I drive an hour to get to this place and its definitely worth it.

Went in had a good talk to the owner found a kit i was looking for he had it there

Went there at 3:55 and he had closed, he had just closed and saw me try the door and asked if I needed something he would open up. I said yes and just then the FedX truck pulls up and ask if he was open and he said yes. I follow him inside and he says that he closes at 3PM. I said I looked and his website does not say that. He snapped at me and said: Dont you know about the Corina virus? (Im wearing a mask) I said I was sorry for making him so upset and just left.

A small shop but packed with styrene.. if you build it this place has it. there arent too many hobby shops like this around anymore. If youre a kit builder this is your spot..the owner is a very nice guy he took the time to fish out a kit that fell behind some shelving for me. I highly recomend you guys keep shopping here I would but Im from california..Hopefull the next time I visit Seattle this place will still be here..

Storekeep very helpful. Lots of supplies. Large selection of military models, car models, a few Bandai robot and pop or cartoon models.

This is my one stop for all my scale model needs. The owner and I are on a first name basis and he always has great sales on models and supplies.

When I call that got great service over the phone the gentleman answered all my questions failed to mention that they were closing at 5 when I got there they were already closed. I posted a picture and someone should edit their hours.

Called in and asked a question. They were very rude and rushing me on the phone and hung up before I could explain what I was doing. Never trying them again.
