I have just leased a brand new 2021 Sienna at Alan Jay Toyota this past Friday and this was by far, THE BEST car purchasing experience Ive aver had! (and Ive purchased many vehicles thoroughout my life)Rene (Rene De La Rosa) was absolutely amazing!Since the beginning he proved to be an incredible person. Very friendly, polite, patience and knowledgeable.I live at about 2:30hrs from this Toyota dealership, that means I drove about 5 hrs to get this car.....but was absolutely worth it! We negotiated everything over the phone because of the distance and Rene made everything very simple and easy.When I got there, the vehicle was washed, ready and parked at the front door of the dealer.The paperwork was almost done and I was in and out of the dealership in 1:25hrThere was a trade in and while I was signing the paperwork, Rene removed my license plate from my old vehicle and installed on the new Sienna. It seams not a big deal but this was about 8:45pm. The dealership closes at 7:00pm. So even though everybody was working over time just for me ( I was the only customer there), Rene had the curtesy of doing that for me without me asking....What a guy !!!I STRONGLY recommend Rene De La Rosa from ALAN JAY Toyota for your next purchase!A special shout-out to Joseph from the Financial dept., also a GREAT guy!Thank you for the amazing experience!

Took care of our problem quickly, & we were treated very cordially & completely under warranty. Only issue was our problem started on a Saturday afternoon so we were unable to get a loaner since the rental dealers close at noon on Saturday. This left us without a vehicle for the weekend!

They oil change and rotation was done on time. The cleaning of the car was sub standard. When picking it up and noticing the poor job on the wash, the service rep said there was nothing they could do. The washers are in a hurry. I was very upset at that answer. Showed it to the manager and she agreed it was a poor job. She wanted to redo it for me, but I didn’t want to stay any longer. I was not happy.

First of all, the dealership has a family and small town atmosphere. The employees seem to really enjoy working there. Cole, the sales consultant, is very open and honest about any questions one might have on a new vehicle. There were no high-pressure sales tactics used like in most other dealerships. I was able to get their bottom price with no haggling back and forth, and their price saved me over a thousand dollars for the same vehicle at several other dealerships I was negotiating with that involved lots of haggling and being passed to various higher ranking individuals to finally arrive at their best price. Joseph in Finance explained all options open to me to purchase with the vehicle and didnt push for any of the add-ons, but patiently waited for me to say yes or no. Alan Jay Toyota really wants your business. Check them out. Highly recommended.

Not good. Took daughters truck for an oil change. That night it loses acceleration and 2 lights come on. This was a Saturday. Take it back to them Monday. Now they say it needs $1000k worth of repair work and nothing was their fault. Just coincidence?

On 6/29/2021 I purchased a Toyota Sienna, I had a great overall experience with the sales managers Russ and my sales associate Joseph. However I give this 1-star review because on 6/30/2021 I attempted to cancel the GAP insurance and the extended guarantee, It took me 3 days to get a hold of Mark Scharwtz. When I told him that I wanted to cancel the GAP insurance and the extended guarantee, he bluntly said that I couldnt do it. Even though the contract clearly states that I can cancel without any penalties and 100% of a refund if I cancel within the first 30 days. When I mentioned this to Mark, he then changed his tone from your cant to yes you can, but I would have to pay 72 out of the 84 months of the contract and that I would lose the coverage. Basically now I am stuck with this GAP insurance and extended guarantee which I do not want but I now have to pay.Buyer be aware - read this before you do business with this dealership.Buyer be aware - be extremely careful when dealing with dealerships like this one.

I went to Alan Jay Toyota for a new battery. I was given 3 options with different prices and different warranties. I chose the lowest price option. Less then a month later we took a 10 day trip and left our car at the airport. Upon our return, our battery was dead! Called AAA and got the car started, and drove home with no problems. The next week took the car in for oil change and tire rotation, also requested that they check the battery after explaining my stranded experience. They said the battery was low and they needed to charge it for half hour or so to get it up to fully charged. So I waited the extra half hour. When I arrived home I got my own tester out and found battery was low. Something wasn’t right. It was low. I put my own charger on overnight, and it tested at fully charged, (13 volts) The next day without moving the car, it tested low(12 volts). Took it back to dealer they finally discovered they sold me the wrong battery, there was no option, I had to buy the most expensive one, because of the gas saving feature that turns the engine off at stoplights. They did give me a discount and apologized for my inconvenience, but their mistake caused me to sit in a parking lot for over an hour waiting for AAA, not to mention sitting in waiting room while they charged it and then my own self diagnosing of the problem. Very aggravating!

My son was trying to help me get a deal so then the sales person told me to leave and go by a truck from him then. Had routine tire rotation today in addition had an air filter changed and inspection. Cost over $128.00 but wasnt enough for a car wash. Very disappointed. It was always something we appreciated at every service visit the past 5 years, first time it wasnt done. Left us with a disappointing experience. We will continue to go back as that is where we bought the car but probably wont buy another from this dealership. Our business wasnt appreciated. It wasnt just missing the wash, it was not feeling like we were a valued customer.

My husband bought a 2021 Tacoma from Jordan Dancer on 14 January. These are his words:I would have left feedback earlier but Ive been out driving my new Tacoma and just got back home! If you want someone to be in your corner and go to the mat for you as well as move heaven and earth then go see Jordan. First he scoured all southeast Toyota dealers and did some heavy horse trading to get me the vehicle I wanted. Once he had an agreement in place with the other dealership, he had to go on line at the manufacturing location (Texas I think) to actually get the truck shipped to Sebring. When it arrived it had 10 miles on it and Jordan sent pics of it still on the truck. He set up a VIP viewing and demonstrated all the features. Then it was time for the negotiations to begin. I have to admit I made some crazy low ball offers but he took everyone to the sales manager Chris for discussion and counter offer. After 2 hours I finally gave them the bottom line price that I would pay and they accepted. And they were very generous with what they gave me for my trade in (12 Frontier). All in all a great experience at Alan Jay Toyota. If you end up buying from Jordan please mention my name...I think there is a hot dog and coke in it for me.All kidding aside; Jordan was great to work with. What are the two worst things you can think of doing during Covid-19 times, Well its buying a new car and Well buying a new car. I shopped over the phone for a particular car and had specifics in mind. (A 2020 Highlander Hybrid with a center bench seat in the XLE trim in FWD) I called Dealers from the Tampa area south to Miami. I called and various dealers took my specs and I told them I was purchasing a car the next day. I shared my (best Number so far) I was open with the Sales people and up front with this information. Some were at MSRP and negotiated the sales manager down and others told me that my numbers that I had from other dealers were lies, or that I was not going to get the car I was specifying.Fast forward a few hours, I come across a mid center state Toyota Dealership called Alan Jay Toyota ( I had to zoom in on Google maps to see it on google) it didnt appear on my initial search for Florida Toyota dealersAnyway Lynn Hamilton is on the other end of the phone and she is polite and soft spoken ( Rare for Car sales people) She took my specifics and listened to what I said and she promised to send me some photos like others had done. Well she sent me The Car I couldnt believe that she had done the seemingly impossible, she listened to what I said.Side note: my local Toyota sales guy gave me the Bottom dollar ( were loosing money on this deal) well we were financing half of the purchase price so I needed a hard real number to get him a check from Sun-coast Credit Union . I called and when I asked he says the typical come in and well get you into that car So he talked to his sales manager who comes back with $1.9k higher than sales guy and my agreed upon number. I spent 3 hours and about 6 phone calls on this negotiation. Yes buying a new car when you cant see someone can be tricky ( cant look them in the eyes).The good sales person Lynn, gave me a number that seemed most believable so I got on with Nick the sales manager ( retired Fireman/Paramedic. We agreed on a price and they were at least $1000 below anyone else and they added on some items. I chose Alan Jay because Lynn didnt jerk me around, she wanted to make a sale and was HONEST and her and Nick gave me real numbers and promises over the phone. She knew a lot about the car and the services Toyota offers. We met at her desk and did the awkward Corona virus greeting while masked and not shaking hands, but she was warm, welcoming and we almost immediately felt at ease. ( I am a skeptic and was waiting on the bait and switch and that feeling left me rather quickly) while waiting for the car to come out of detailing we talked specifics and business but I didnt have the anxious car dealership feeling)My only issues (very minor anxiety) with the whole deal: One of the Phone negotiated offers from Lynn was 4 years service (oil change and tire rotation) on the car for free. In closing the deal, I noticed that it wasnt written in so we advocated for ourselves and said something. Nick made it up to us and we signed the deal and purchased a car from them. NO BS, like most car sales this purchase took forever (5 hours) even with external financing and our tag transferred to the new car)It is rare to find an automotive sales group that does what they say and sticks to it all the way to the final signature.Toyotas last forever and now that the interiors are updated I will return to Alan Jay Toyota to purchase from Lynn and Nick when I am ready. For now my wife Lauren rides in style upgraded from the 2010 Battle Prius to the Highlander Hybrid XLE.

Truck had been wrecked of which they failed to mention. Discovered it on my own. Said it passed the 122 point inspection but they could have their mechanic look at again to tell me if it was okay or not. Said they could take $1000 off the overall price due to the damages. The front end would have had to been rebuilt (thousands of dollar) to be done correct and that is if it would have ever tracked correct, you could tell it was a hard impact as asphalt was embedded in the hardware and the skid plate was punctured. Pulled hard to the right. It is still on their site after 2 weeks of me looking at it with a new special listing. 24k milage red tundra for 37k out the door and you will foot the bill for the front end repairs in the end. Buyer beware!

Drove over two hours to buy my car. When I told them that I was going to use the zero percent financing they jacked up the price by $6000. They did come down some and I bought my vehicle from them but it was another 2 hour drive. Did not honor True Car price after I said that I was using their zero percent financing. Also took them two hours to find out what the appearance package was that was already installed. Finance guy was great.

I just purchased a vehicle from them and from the very beginning and all the way to the end of the transaction I felt high pressured, misled, misinformed, given false promises, and then asked to just not say anything about it? Ive already spoke to the GM, 2 Sales Managers, 2 Sales Associates and about 3 other people, so this should be no surprise. It was the most unprofessional experience Ive ever had purchasing a vehicle and Ive purchased many of them in my lifetime. As a final nail to the coffin of our relationship, as I make my 2nd, two hour drive back home after picking up the vehicle, I get a service tire monitor alarm after leaving the dealership and they want me to turn back around when I just want to be done with them! You guys failed ME as a dealership miserably and I even gave you an opportunity to make it right and you failed a second time, so hope it was worth it. I hope you make a fortune off my trade-in.

Purchased Amys ( my wife) Tundra 7/29/19. Jordan Dancer was our Salesman. We picked a horrible afternoon as one of our wonderful afternoon thunderstorms was rolling through. I think the truck was on the far end of the lot yet Jordan went out in the rain and brought the truck into showroom area so we could look at it. He went over the truck and all of its features completely. Took us on a test drive and covered all features of truck including some of Toyotas great safety features. Got the deal done and left dealership that night and about half way home my wife suddenly got sad when she realized she had forgotten all her Ragnar badges off old Truck. I called Jordan Dancer the next morning and he was on it. Sent me a text hour or so later and he had her badges on his desk for us. He has followed up multiple times to make sure we got bluetooth synced and all that good stuff. Great experience, if you go to Alan Jay to buy a Toyota be sure to ask for Jordan Dancer.

I had a fairly serious issue with Alan Jay Toyota service department. Spoke to the service manager didnt really understand the issue. And then spoke to Nick letourneau the general manager two completely understood the issue and we quickly resolved it. Nick in my opinion is honest and a man of integrity it was a pleasure dealing with him some of you may notice this is my first review ever posted not really Im not really a computer guy what I thought my issue was so serious are they figure it out how to open a Google account and post this preview I want to make sure Nick knows how much I appreciated his time, not so much for the service manager who clearly couldnt understand a problem when presented with it . From the minute I walked into Alan Jay Toyota, I was treated likema VIP. I went in for an active leak in my rear passenger tire. After explaining the situation,I was offerred the opportunity to be bought out of lease as they were promoting the new 2021 line of cars. I was super nervous because I couldnt afford a down payment. They explained the process of crunching numbers to see if I qualified for a $0 down payment and no payment for 30days. Jordan Dancer walked me through the process. He listened to my concerns as I recently relocated back to the county after 10+ years in the Northeast. Jordan and most of the Toyota team(sales manager, office manager and finance manager) were able to find me a vehicle that met my needs within my budget, literally no down payment and no payment for 30 days! They got me a rate less than what I was paying on my other Toyota. In fact, the amount it cost me to transfer my car insurance back to FL was less than the cost of fixing my tire!!! They even contacted me 48 hours after my purchase to ensure I was satisfied and all was well. Jordan talked me through some minor adjustments I wanted to make with the touch screen Bluetooth system. In less than 5 minutes my new car was set up 😁Im thrilled with my new car. Im more thrilled to have had such a great experience. Ive been to many dealerships and had several cars over the years. This was by far my best experience to date.

I purchased a used 2018 Santa Fe Sport that had been recently traded-in at Alan Jay Toyota. I found the vehicle through Car Gurus. The dealership is one hour and twenty minutes from where I live but fortunately I was able to get a majority of my questions answered by e-mail and text. Lynn Hamilton was my sales consultant and I highly recommend her! She was responsive and got the answers to my questions. Her sales style is not high pressure which is rare during a car buying experience. Nick Salerno, the general manager, is very down to earth and personable and you will find those same traits in each of his team members as well. If you live near or far, the drive to Alan Jay Toyota is so worth it!

We had a very positive experience buying our Kia Optima with Jordan Dancer this afternoon. I had contacted him a day earlier to let him know what I considered to be important factors in the purchase a car, and he prepared a list of possible cars from across the Alan Jay network. I let him know which car I was interested in test driving, and it was ready to go when my husband and I arrived at the Toyota dealership. Before we left the lot for the test drive, he pointed out all the various safety features needed to drive safely. During the test drive, he answered our many questions and outlined features of the car we didnt know about. He gave us plenty of time to examine the seats, the trunk, the electronics, look under the hood, etc. When we returned to his office, he gave us time to ourselves to discuss our decision....there was absolutely NO PRESSURE! After deciding to purchase, we were impressed with Jordans expertise with all the paperwork. His professionalism and relaxed personality contributed greatly to an easy and very smooth transition from my previous car to the new one! Though it was late in the afternoon when we started this journey, and the rain was pouring down, he did not try to rush us through the process or hustle us out the door. Even after we left his office to sign papers in the business managers office (which took some time), Jordan was still there waiting to personally hand us the keys to our new vehicle. My friends grandma, a 91 year old lady, went here for an oil change and tire rotation and was taken advantage of! Do not go here! She went to pay to find out she was being charged over $600!! Her son went in and a check for the amount over was supposed to be given to her within the week and never was! They completely took advantage of an elderly woman, especially in a time like this! Beware and confirm the work, price and receipt before paying!

Unethical is 200% correct as someone else said! They’re “mechanics” aren’t mechanics! They are part changers!!! They can’t even figure out a simple fan problem without lying and saying I had to replace EVERYTHING ON MY AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM! I took my car to another place, they gave me a really cool inspection I could see on my phone. Told me my fan was bad, blew a fuse/relay and THATS ALL! That place is in Sebring too! The orange building going toward lake placid on the right side. They fix all kinds of cars, even saw a Porsche and BMW they were working on.

I’m currently joining the military and appreciate buying from a US ARMY Veteran. Five stars all the way!! Go see him he will help you out! And I can’t forget to mention the General manager Nick Salerno was awesome to have around as well. Most general managers don’t even come out of the office but when we had questions we needed him he was there. Terrible customer service. Had to pull teeth the entire time, Constantly had to follow up with the sales associate to buy the truck otherwise no one would reach out. My was supposed to be delivered Friday and it never was and no one updated me on the status till I finally called. Was told by the salesmen if it wasnt there today he would go get it himself. I ask him to give me an updated before he leaves, the dealership is now closed and I have no idea if my truck will be there. I am flying from out of state on Sunday night to pick my truck up and drive back to Georgia for work on Tuesday. With no update and the dealership being closed on Sunday I am now expected to hop on a plane and hope that my vehicle gets delivered to the dealership on Monday and then wait for it to be delivered to me in West Palm Beach. This is for a sixty thousand dollar truck and I have placed a 20k down payment which has been wire transferred. I seriously cannot understand how a dealership cannot figure out where this vehicle is and why I am not being updated. As I stated TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!

During a routine tire rotation and oil change, a service technician took advantage of my 91 year old grandmother. He explained that Toyota suggested certain parts be replaced, even though she has barely any miles on the car, and the replaced parts were completely unneeded. Playing on mild confusion from a 91 year old woman, they replaced quite a few things. When my grandmother pulled out her checkbook assuming for a $200 bill, give or take, she was told her total was upwards of $700. She bit her tongue and wrote the check, even though she was confused as to what possibly couldve cost so much when she went in for 2 routine services. Shame on this business for taking advantage of an elderly member of their community!
