Surprised to see such positive reviews at this store. Was there recently to discuss upgrading my phone. Chad seemed pretty uninterested in helping me. He didnt turn off his radio which was rude. Im partially deaf in one ear so I had a hard time hearing him. I told him I wanted a phone with NFC and he said he didnt know what that was. I had to explain that you need it for Google Pay. He basically said I need to buy a high end phone like the S20. Got home, did my own research and there a cheaper ones with NFC. My trip to this store was a waste of my time.

Walked in a little after they opened and sat there for 10 minutes without being acknowledged. The one associate was with a couple. At one point he went into the back room....I thought maybe to alert another associate that I was there. Nothing. Not a word. When the customers started talking about their personal business, I left.

Received a new S21 5G from Verizon online and it wasnt working properly. After several attempts calling Verizon with no success, and even having my Internet service checked out, my neighbor told me about this store location.I went in and Chad (Spears) could see the problem. It took several attempts to upload new android software but Chad was patient, friendly and went out of his way to trouble shoot the problem and correct it. I can tell you, when its time to upgrade again, Im going directly to Chad at Verizon on 179. Thank you, thank you!!!
We went to the Verizon store in the Village of Oak Creek, AZ and boy are we glad we did! Chad knows his stuff and took care of all our needs! Not only is he knowledgeable, but also patient, kind and has a great sense of humor. We highly recommend this location.
Hi- I went to Russells Verizon store as a first time customer as I switched from another provider. I was a helped right away and was treated very well! He explained what I needed to know and answered all my questions. I definitely recommend them with a doudt-

The guy behind the desk could not even rouse himself enough to greet me, even though I was the only customer. He then quoted me a phone price that cost $10 more per month than I could get directly from the Verizon online store. In this era, I would rather shop locally but not for a giant surcharge and a complete lack of customer service.

After giving the Cottonwood (960 Main Street) AZ store THREE tries, I came to this store where Chad helped me very quickly and effectively. Why does the cottonwood store even exist? They’re so lame the stacked up 5 deep with customers they have one guy behind the counter. Time to fire their management and just start over. Sad pathetic Cottonwood store

My wife and I spent quite a bit of time with Alexander to deal with several issues about our phones, getting a new jetpack and switching to a more favorable plan. He was sharp, very patient and went through the extra effort to deal directly with Verizon in between helping other customers. Many others in his shoes would have given up but he was persistent and got the job done. He is a PRIME example of what customer service is all about! Hes definitely a keeper!

My phone was not working properly, and the company I was with did not have a dealer in Sedona. I walked in to the Verizon store and asked the manager, Chad Spears, if he could fix my phone, though I was not a Verizon customer. He not only got it working properly, but spent about 30 minutes doing so. He did not charge me for his time, and was generous and kind beyond my expectation. He is a high quality employee, and I am so appreciative of him and the help he generously gave me.

The experience in the store was wonderful. I was told I got a free upgrade and no buyout fee for my old phone. Then, I receive my bill.. almost 200.00 for my buy out, was a surprise. Because this is an independent dealer Verizon cant help with errors. They took no responsibility for their error. Made it seem as if I was trying to get out of my buyout. I spoke with the manager whom is also the one that was so excited to sell me a new phone, with no upgrade or buyout fee, as she stated youre lucky. Steer clear of this business, if an error occurs Verizon cant really help and the employees clearly take no responsibilities for their errors. Luckily Verizon credited my account the 187 buyout. Poor after the sale CS. Beware.

Chad, the manager here, is the absolute best! Hes bent over backwards on more than one occasion to help me figure things out on my phone, fix settings I didnt know how to do, find files I lost etc...... Hes spent time and energy helping me when there was no sale or profit in it for him or his store. What a solid guy! Cant figure out why hes not manager at their Cottonwood store because Big Park/VOC Sedona store has such light traffic and hidden away. This man is a quality employee and person. Thank you, Chad, you have saved the day for me multiple times!

I purchased a samsung cell phone on November 25th 2015 and was told I would have a rebate of $200. As of this date, 3/4/16, I have not been able to talk to anyone who can help me and will have to hold while 35 people ahead of me are helped on the phone. I feel the people at the store need to be clear when telling me I will receive a rebate and need to be willing to help to make sure that promise is fulfilled.I have talked with four people at this store and at the one in Cottonwood.Each time I go to this store, there are new people (sales people) there. Why is there so much turnover of employees? Why cant someone help me and why do people promise something they cannot give?

CAREFUL with this location. I stopped using this store several years ago due to limited merchandise, poorly trained sales sharks(with constant turnover) and general shabiness of the location. I like to shop local... but deserve better than this. I would have left this store alone but my mother had a recent experience where an employee offered to send her trade-in back to Verizon. After several weeks her VZ account was hit with a chargeback for the unreturned phone. She went back to the store and spoke with management who informed her that it was against store policy to send customers phones in and then suggested that she was lying and that her phone was never left at the store. Long story-short, after several weeks of fighting, Verizon traced the phone which had suspiciously been removed and added on their system consistent with the dates mom complained. Someone on the inside was hiding the phone! Verizon corp refunded the money once they were satisfied that something was wrong. Russell wireless defended their employee to the end and never admitted fault. What a giant mess. Avoid this store.
Had to wait a little bit of time to get help because a few gals ahead of me were purchasing new phone which takes a little bit of time. Understandable! Chad was able to get my iPad set up with a new sim card and I was on my way, really helpful and waived the charge on the new sim card for me. Waited 40 minutes to get a phone charger. Half burnt cigarettes were sitting on the counter stinking up the whole place. Guy was a jerk and 30 bucks for a USB c cord. Avoid this place at all cost.
