We are here for Labor Day weekend and have had a really good time. The park is very clean. The pool area and bathhouse are very nice. Conveniently located as its not directly in the higher traffic areas but still close enough to do whatever you want. The new owners are very helpful and have plans for new amenities in the park. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a great time staying here. The bath house is kept very clean, we had plenty of space for our van and we had very nice folks on both side of us who stay here every year. It rained a whole bunch so we were also happy there was so much gravel that kept us from getting all muddy!

Ripplin Waters is now a father and son (Joshua) owned establishment with superb customer service. This campground is a definite diamond in the rough! There are great plans in the making to make this campground the ultimate getaway! The campground is easily accessible and has a lot to offer, young and old. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful when arriving as the gentleman (Scott) escorted us to our site and made sure we had everything we needed. The single bathhouse which has six bathroom stalls and five showers was in immaculate condition our entire stay. There is only one and it is at the top of the hill, but it is conveniently located and sufficient for the size of the campground. There is a laundromat with ample washers and dryers; however, the machines only take only quarters. The POOL is gorgeous and VERY CLEAN! All campsites sites are 50-amp, full hook-up and sufficient in size (44ft 5th-wheel with 5 slides, both sides, front and rear). Our family highly recommends this beautiful, very affordable getaway!

This was a one night stay on our way home from Myrtle Beach. The sites are a little tight but for just an overnighter the are great. The staff was super friendly and very informative. Very quiet and peaceful campground. The only issue we had and this has nothing to do with the campground. You can not turn left out of the campground, so you have to drive down the road and find a place to do a U turn. Not an easy thing to do towing a 32 ft 5th wheel.

The campground is quite packed with 155 spots. Pull throughs which are at times shared with another camper so you are rear to rear. The park is well kept with plenty of trees in the area. The people there are very friendly. The nightly rate is above average at 41 at the pull through and 43 if you back into the river spots. This rate is before taxes and the fee for using a card. You cannot see much of the river or hear it at all. There is a 400 meter stretch of gravel to walk your dog. It is a down and back, not a loop.

This campground is great for a one nighter if you’re traveling through. Good WiFi. That’s why it got one star. Other than good WiFi there are no other redeeming qualities about camping long term at this place. The price has gone up so much it’s worth it to drive further in and pay about the same price for a campground that’s closer to the park. Now let’s talk about what’s wrong with this campground. NO rules are followed (that’s on the campers themselves) and none are enforced! We had a next door camper who was spray painting his junker of a camper. One guy was washing and waxing his a few spots over. Another camper was practically being rebuilt on the inside. Service trucks coming and going most every day. Dogs on a leash? Only applies to people who are camping there but not to the camp host dog who promptly tiptoed into our camping space and left us a dark brown present. Water was intermittently yellow to brown. Was told that they were 85 picnic tables short and if we wanted one we had to find a vacant spot that had one of the few tables and haul it to our site ourselves! When they say you get 50amp hookup that’s all you get. The small 110 volt plug in is only for winter time heated water hose use. They turn off the circuit breaker so you can’t connect anything to it.I could go on but you should get the gist of it by now. Do your homework, drive further into the area and stay elsewhere for about the same or lesser price.Happy Camping

Guess you half be in the click here to have more than one vehicle or a boat allowed at site. Only 50amp plugs. No propane! Bathhouse let’s just say I’ve seen better same with laundry area. The grounds were nice gravel. Long term area looks like trailer park with trailer park people. It’s always the little things I notice over grown grass or bushes or trash not being picked up daily. Walked In The office and it smelled like cigarette smoke which was terrible, I Booked a River front site, but you had to climb over a hill to see it, not quite what I had envisioned, the play ground is more for very young kids like under 5, my kids 10,11 were too big to play on it, not a commercial playground like most campgrounds I’ve been to, so that was disappointing, the site was gravel with a concrete pad, but it was very difficult to get into and not long enough for our truck to park in front of the camper. My kids said the bath house was clean and had multiple stalls. We won’t be back because it was to difficult to get in and out of the park, you can only turn right in and out of the park due to the median, we had to bust a u turn across 6 lanes of traffic pulling a camper is not fun

We appreciated the park staff and their willingness to accommodate our unique situation. Our stay was enjoyable. If you are looking to fish, the river is not convenient unless you have an RV spot on the river, and then you have to climb over a mound of dirt. The helicopter tours across the road run all day long and are pretty obnoxious. If you want a campfire you have to bring your own ring if youre not on the river. We had to go buy wood at Lowes because no one nearby (including the campground) had wood for sale. No picnic tables. The campground itself is well cared for and overall it was a good stay.

First we had fans plugged in to the 110 outlet and were told we could not use that because it was for the management use not paying customers!!! This makes no sense at all. So we plugged it to the camper which was no big deal but she (heavy set lady) kept coming behind our camper near the river checking to see if we kept it that way. Also the older lady who checked us in did not charge for my 10 yr old great nephew but said younger heavy set lady said we owed for him. When we tried to pay for him the younger heavy set lady said that we would just chop it up whatever that means. She saw where the older lady started to put 3 then changed it to 2 so was not charging for him.Same younger heavy set lady had told us my nephew could park at the campsite then came and said that he could not while we we at the store trying to pay for my great nephew! She was very rude and and I even saw her taking pictures of other occupied campsites. We have stayed here several times and never had a problem until this weekend! It was $38 approx for a site. I said ok I will take it. Then she writes the bill and tells me she added $10 because I came in with my tanks full and that is what she told me she would charge - which she didn’t she told me $20. I said really? She said yes take it or leave it. She then told me that most people that come there are local and come from home with empty tanks. I said this is a tourist town, you get no people coming in from other places - Bull. I told her that she was recently able to open up due to Covid and now you are ripping people off. Ive tried to give this place two chances. Once last year and then again this year. We arrive and the cable never works properly. Their excuse is that they cant get anyone to work on it. Which is what they said last year. Fine. We had our breaker trip several times during our stay. We tried to bring it to their attention but they were extremely rude. They said it was our fault the breaker was tripping because we had too many things plugged up. Literally had nothing plugged or running except ac and fridge. Third day we went without water the entire day. We were told to buy another water hose to tie into someone elses. Okay.. Every time weve had any sort of interaction with the staff, they have been exceptionally rude. EXCEPTIONALLY. The cable is so fuzzy you cant tell whats on. Except in the office. The WiFi is off and on and wont load anything. They do have grassy sites. And the bathrooms are fairly clean for a campground. Those are the only positives I can say. The layout is confusing and no one offered to guide us into our site. The washrooms and laundry looked good although we did not use them. Everyone who have reviewed is certainly right on about the exit issue. Construction was almost completed at that area but Ive been to this area in the height of fall season and traffic on the highway is packed. The lady who registered us was hired help, an older woman who was somewhat unfamiliar with the brochure area but very nice and tried to help. I did not meet the owner or the young woman mentioned in other reviews.

Read the reviews, I had mix emotions about taking my family to establishment with some of comments. The pros were close to interstate, cheap, extra storage for our boat - trailer. Cons no playground really, dirty restrooms, laundry fasilty, gravel, crowed sites, not very clean help, camp fires are not permitted.

Great staff, helpful and friendly. Clean laundry and bathroom/shower facilities. Pool is clean and maintained as well. Lots of trees! Fishing available to campers only on Little Pigeon River!

The plus close to interstate, all gravel sites. It doesn’t have good WiFi nor looks to be taken care of on the outside bye the sites, grass and trash. Wasn’t very satisfied with the staff! Short lady in office very rude and short! Bathrooms and laundry nasty, dirty mold on some of the showers. Gray headed man on golf cart no help, worried about smoking, very rude, stinky, and wouldn’t let my granddaughter use bathroom due to he was in there “cleaning” told granddaughter she can use bathroom while he was in there!

We have been camping here since about 2003, once or twice a year. We really like staying here. Once we stayed for three consecutive weeks.
