I visited this shop with my daughters while we were on vacation. The ladies there were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. I wish I lived closer so I could go there all the time. I highly recommend a visit.

Great Quilt Shop. Have a huge variety of things....and your close to the Butterfly in the parking area for a picture and also close to the Dolly Parton Statue....plan on coming back next trip :)

My sister and I were delighted to visit The Cherry Pit 🍒 on the recommendation of a Facebook quilting group. I traveled from Washington state and this was part of the journey. Friendly staff, great selection of fabrics, patterns and notions❣ I shared the photos the shop said I could take and a couple of friends are trying to order the Beatitudes quilt kit. This is a must see on your way to Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg!

Stopped by on a rainy Wednesday with the wife. Wife just went on and on about what a nice shop this is and the ladies that work their were fun and knowledgeable. We will be coming back every time we come down on vacation.

What a wonderful shop! There is a large variety of fabric available, and the shop is much larger than it appears from the outside. I had the opportunity to interact with four staff members (including the owner), and all were extremely helpful, very knowledgeable, friendly, and willing to take time to talk to each customer. If I lived around here, this would be my go-to quilt shop! I will definitely visit each time Im in town!

Beautiful shop!!! My mom and I went (she is the quilter) and they had absolutely beautiful quilts hung up with a beautiful assortment of patterns and fabrics to choose from. Mom got a new quilt pattern that she is excited to try. We will surely be back the next time we are in town. The women in the store were very nice and funny, too. All in all a very pleasant experience.

This is a really nice quilting store in a quaint vintage-type part of the city. It is packed with fabric, patterns and nearly everything youd need to start a quilt. They have a good selection of finished quilts to inspire you and some that have been designed by the shop. These quilts sometimes have both piecing and applique.If youre a local they do have quilt classes that you can attend.Double check the store for their hours before showing up as they dont work the whole week and be sure and take plenty of money. Parking is minimal out front but there is a lot nearby. Enjoy!

I had the pleasure of visiting The Cherry Pit while vacationing with our family in the Sevierville area. This shop had a wonderful selection of fabric and an amazing staff that was extremely friendly and helpful. They were very accommodating when I inquired about a pattern they did not have in stock, and, in fact, ordered, received and called me before I left the area to go home to let me know they had received the pattern. Their customer service is top-notch! I highly recommend that you stop by this store any time you’re in the area.

My wife found the Cherry Pit on one our trips to Tennessee. Right down town in Sevierville nestled in amongst some other stores. The name will kind of throw you. Weve been by this place quite a few times before and didnt pay any attention to it because of the name. She saw some items in the window, stopped and went in and she loved it, She told my aunt and they went together then told her sister and she visited. Great shop and tons if material. Dont let the name fool you.

If you cant find quality material and notions here you probably cant find it anywhere. They have quilting classes here too. Super nice shop.

Great little fabric store! Visited during the BBQ festival, but have been trying to visit for two years. They usually close during the festival because the road is blocked, but this year they were open on Friday! The ladies were very helpful helping me find fabrics for my log cabin quilt.

Visiting the Cherry Pit Fabric Shop in Sevierville was the highlight of my trip to the mountains. They have a beautiful selection of fabrics, several quilts displayed, and many kits already put together and ready for you to go out the door with exactly what you need. The employees were warm, welcoming, and ready to answer all my questions. If you are ever in Sevierville, you must stop by this shop.

Small shop packed with fabrics. They carry a lot of traditional quilting fabrics, however not very many modern quilting fabrics. They do not carry any English Paper Piecing supplies. Still a good stop for quilters.

Decent sized shop with a wide selection of patterns and fabric. But the ladies working in the store werent particularly helpful. When enquiring about the fabric of a displayed quilt, neither seemed to know what print the fabric was. They were also not inclined to assist with fabric yardage needed for a particular project. Need more helpful workers!
