I am so happy I came across Alvarez Auto Care! I learned they are family owned while skimming through their amazing reviews, so I definitely wanted to give them a try. We were greeted warmly by the owner in the waiting area, which was cool, clean and tidy and we were offered a selection of cold beverages to enjoy while waiting. I first took my integra in because I needed a new radiator hose and couldn’t get a piece out, Well Ernesto the son, he pulled piece out and put new tube on and refilled car with anti freeze at no charge. Next I needed a fuel pressure sensor for my 06 mustang, only charged $200 which I thought was a very fair price and they had it all done inside of two hours. They do very professional work and I would recommend to anyone. They are actually fixing my mustang again today and so I am confident it will be fixed fast and the right way. My husband got stranded at the Sentry Market across the street from Alvarez Auto a couple days ago. The owner came to my husbands rescue! The starter had gone out in our Chevy pick-up. Alvarez walked across the street, at my husbands request, got the truck started and then within a couple of hours had the new starter installed and we were good as gold! He even gave my husband a free oil change! Excellent Excellent Excellent! You can not ask for better customer service! If we need repairs we will be back! Thank You!

Needed to get my oil changed and they were able to get me in on the spot and get it done in a timely manner. The owners are really nice and Ernest is very knowledgeable.Their rates are also very reasonable.First rate shop, I’ll definitely be bringing my car back when needed.

I had a 10am appointment for an oil change and my car was taken right in. I brought my dog and my toddler so we could play at the park while the car was worked on. By 10:30am I was getting a call that it was all done. Its so convenient being right across the street from the park and Sentry Market. Its also walking distance from my home if I ever needed to leave it longer. I get the impression its a family business. Everyone was very friendly and appreciative for my business. Id much rather my money go to a small, local shop. Well be back. ❤

Went there expecting professionals, not only did they overcharge, they tried to get me to buy $1000 worth of parts that had nothing to do with the problem I wanted them to work on, not only that when i got an oil change they put my car on the lift wrong and bent my frame, its a shame Jeff sold it that pos

The office woman was amazing! She offered my daughter snacks and I coffee or water, they were very kind and very informative! She even helped me buy coffee for my new Keurig!

So I live out of town and was in Anderson on personal business and needed to have my breaks done. I called they were able to see me the next day, awesome right well not really I went and had my breaks done which were fine but for some reason my drive from the shop to Motel 6 in Anderson (which is nothing but highway) my back shocks went out and were perfectly fine before I took my car in. My husband called and explained what happen took the car back the next day they looked and told my husband they’d have to order the part and they’d fix it for free. Well 3 weeks go by we call and at first the lady in the front said they had the part and wanted to schedule an appointment and we explained to her we live out of town and we’ll call back once we know when we can travel back. My husband call the following day and now they don’t have the part and won’t fix it for free saying it’s my fault my shocks went out.In response to that it was the case my husband specifically asked the mechanic this wasn’t going to cost us anything and your mechanic said no it’ll be free. You broke my shocks and are going back on what you said now my car is completely unsafe to drive. Your mechanic told my husband he was going to call a friend to get used parts which my husband agreed on at no cost and your mechanic once again said yes it’ll be free.

We havent received such valuable services from a Shasta Lake City in the automotive business like we have received with Alverez Auto Care! We have dealt with Auto services in Redding as well for the last 30 years and only two others have come close to the quality and care this business have shown us. They do the job with respect, full explanation, offering to have your old parts back, showing whats wrong and the price is good! We will continue to do business with Alverez Auto Care. If there is something they cannot do, they will let you know and make suggestion that are appropriate for your safety and budget. Thank you, much appreciation for opening up for business!
