Melissa is a great person to work with. She went the extra mile to find the heating element for my Samsung stove. The new part was discontinued and would have had to have bought a new stove if she didn’t have the part. I would highly recommend Taylor appliances to anyone looking to buy or need parts. Thanks again Melissa!

It was good to find used washer and dryer for my daughter. People working there was super friendly and helpful, also very cautious of having too many people in at one time during this pandemic. Very much appreciated that when trying to be safe.

When we first walked into this store, we were greeted by an extremely exceptional employee. They were kind, informative, and helpful to say the least. Excellent customer service skills. We quickly found what we needed and proceeded to check out setting up a 2 pm delivery for the next day (yesterday). At 1:55pm, I had yet to hear from the delivery driver or receive any contact from the company, so I called to make sure it was still being delivered at 2pm. Without receiving any information from me except for my first original question: “We set up a 2pm appointment time for today. I was calling to make sure that’s still happening.” I received a poorly toned abrupt “yes” before I was hung up on as I was about to mutter my next question asking for a estimate on the delivery time as it was our only day off of work, and we were consumed with time sensitive things to do that day. We proceeded to call back in attempt to get an answer. No answer. Time and time again. Around 2:40pm, we get a call from the delivery driver saying they’re lost and they need to know how to get to our house which we had told the lady who checked us out to tell the driver to keep in touch because they could have difficulty finding our house. We received our washer one hour later. The delivery drivers were oblivious to any type of prior contact being communicated to them; however, any professional would have open communication regardless.Anyways, we bite the bullet. At least we have our washer now, right? Yeah, we wish. We plugged it up immediately ready to begin on backed up laundry following the female’s orders to lay the clothes inside the washer evenly and to not fill it up too much to avoid damaging the springs. We made it through one load before it was giving us error codes and leaking all over our floor from underneath the washer. In attempt to use the warranty offered with the product, we proceeded to call the company already having a feeling of how it was going to go due to the previous incident earlier that day. We called about 10 times, and received no answer from the store. It is the next day at this point and I woke up this morning with more water all over the floor. I’m writing this review at night, because I am upset about this situation, and I could not sleep.I paid over $400 for this broken washer for this service and water damage to my floor because it was supposed to be used but refurbished which means that it’s working, correct? I don’t understand why you would sell me a broken washer, but heed my warning ladies and gentlemen. Save yourself the headache and shop elsewhere. The appliance store in Shelby was not open when I went there or I wouldn’t be in this situation. They answered their phone every-time and had the utmost costumer service and respect and were more than willing to help me out when I called them for all sorts of information. They’re also highly praised and were personally recommended to me. Take your business elsewhere. I should’ve,

I have used Taylor Smith for a few years now for both personal and rental appliances. They back up their warranties and have always worked to deliver what I bought when I need. They come out quickly for repairs if requested and give an honest view of if it is worth repairing or just replacing depending on the problem. I will continue using them.

Owner came to deliver my washer and dryer would not enter with my Service Dog that is certified out then had a horrible attitude and was extremely rude and after a brief time he stated that they were refunding my money and he was going to the police. DO NOT GO HERE. Right and again the driver seemed confused on how to get the units into the house then I explained it in detail. If he took it as belittling then he needs to grow up and not act like a child and stomp away like a 5 year old. And its a Service Dog that is allowed everywhere I am to include my own home if your driver has a problem with service dogs maybe you should read the ADA laws and especially domicile for that animal
