Delicious food, nice atmosphere, friendly staff and fast service. Tried two slices of pizza and the gyro with French fries. Good portions and tasty food. Pizza is definitely good. There’s large selection of pizza, wraps, pasta, salads, burgers, plenty of option to choose from. Reasonable prices. The ambient inside is comfortable, spacious and lots of tables to sit. This is a good spot that I’d recommend to anyone.

By far the worst pizza I have ever had in my entire life! Highly suggest ordering little Caesar’s or a frozen pizza over this junk. The crust was super thin, greasy cheese but not in a good way, and the sauce tastes like ravioli Chef Boyardee in a can. Super disappointed in how much it cost vs the quality or taste in this product. Highly suggest if you order the garlic bread, you might as well make your own at home, because it’s literally toast with cheese on it.

This place came highly recommended to me, reviews looked great so we figured why not. Im giving it a 2 star review on the fact that it is edible pizza. Ive had worse. But thats all it is. Theres no flavor. I ordered a large cheese and garlic knots. Everything is covered in grease. Very very oily pizza. Garlic knots smelled promising but again, was just dough and grease with chunks of garlic on top. No flavor in anything. But hey, its cheap pizza thats edible. Not recommended.

I ordered a pizza for delivery and I get a under cooked crust with a pile of toppings in the corner of the box that the delivery person practically flung to me. I wont be back.

This place is the best in Shelton!!!! The service is great and the food is AMAZING! The east side chicken and the mashed potato pizza are to die for!!! I’ve also never seen a restaurant so clean!!!! You could eat the food off the floor! I’d recommend everyone go here.

Fast delivery and good food but when I ask for half cheese-half pepperoni, I expect to have more than 4 tiny pepperoni slices on the pizza. Should be 4 pepperoni slices per slice of pizza.

The sign on the door says that they close at 11pm on Saturday. Online it says that they close at 11pm on Saturday. So, what happens when you show up at 10:05pm on Saturday after you grab a few groceries next door? They guy is in there mopping up. I knock. He opens the door and says “Covid hours.” Like, what? “Covid hours.” For a place that does takeout and delivery. On a Saturday. Sorry, but if your establishment hasn’t figured out how to do business a full year plus into this pandemic, then I’m not so sure you should still be in business.

This place is amazing! Tried this place out a couple months back and I’ve been hooked since! Very friendly staff, super clean! Amazing food. Love love the pizza, the hot oil is super delicious as well. The grinders are super good, can’t wait to try more food! I highly recommend this place!!

Best tasting pizza Ive had in a while.

First time trying Legends and i must say the food is delicious!! Ordered for pick up they were extremely busy but i didn’t mind the wait! Staff is super nice! I learned it’s family owned it was really awesome to see the family working together, thank you so much Legends. Will be ordering tomorrow as well!

The guys are extremely nice and the food was good. We ordered garlic knots, gyro, baked ravioli and for the kids chicken nugget and fries. We have no complaints about it.

Hot oil pizza was Very Good! A tiny bit sweet and just the right amount of hot🔥. The salad pizza had no typical cheese, and VERY light sauce, maybe a sprinkle of grated romano. Usually its made with salad dressing in place of the pizza sauce. But the lettuce was crispy and fresh and NOT soggy which is hard for some places to get right on a salad pizza. Only 3 stars bc the crusts and cheese pizza were both very bland.

Great selection on the menu. Ive had the wings before. Thats what brought me back. The pasta was excellent. I didnt catch the lovely young lady (the little cutie with the braces) who served us,but the service was the best I have received in a very long time anywhere. Friendly, helpful, and thorough as can be.I will definitely be back soon.

So bummed! This place had awesome reviews so my husband and I were excited to try a new place out. They weren’t very friendly - over the phone or in person - and the pizza was just ok. To top it off, I was disappointed in their commitment to customer satisfaction and safety. Unfortunately, today my review also has to be based on their response to the public requirements put in place to prevent or lessen the spread of COVID-19. While I understand wearing a mask all day long in a kitchen cannot be comfortable, not a single staff member bothered to put their mask on when I walked in. Instead, their masks remained under their chins the entire time and one employee even came out from the back without a mask in sight.

This extremely hard-working and very friendly family business is the best food you will ever come across in Shelton . There are menu ranges from great pizzas, dinners, salads grinders, Signature burgers and wraps, soups, calzones, Stromboli’s, great chicken wings, Fried ravioli, fried calamari. Dinner dinner portions are extremely large and can almost make two meals. Do not forget to try their pizza rolls which they make using their pizza dough, as they will melt in your mouth. I guarantee if you come here once you’ll be hooked. They are located in the Shelton Square right next to Stop & Shop look for their new big sign!

Food was good. Customer service was HORRIBLE. From the moment I walked in the girl at the register, Elizabeth?, had a nasty attitude. I was recommended to this pizzeria by a friend who had delivery. Seriously disappointed in the service. I was extremely appalled to have also heard this girls personal conversation over her AirPods where in which she was swearing. Will NOT be coming here again.

I love stopping here when Im in town. Always great food and fast, friendly service.Edit: take out order was missing food and the garlic knots had over an inch of oil in the pan. Looks like service and food quality have gone downhill lately.

LEDGENDS PIZZA IS OUTSTANDING. Omg, I eat it any time I want pizza, it is that good. Their pizza renders my taste buds speechless and I can never get enough of that scrumptious, superb taste. Anyone that says dominos is better can go eat a rock, because they are such impasules that clearly their taste buds are broken and worthless to this society. Either way, this place has DEFINITELY got that yummy yum and I would eat here everyday if I could.

Horrible service! When my order arrived I noticed that the bread rolls were thrown into the paper bag on top of the container that had my food without being wrapped in foil paper, plastic rap or even a container. I threw them in the garbage, called in a complaint and instead of apologizing I was told they have never received a complaint through out the years they have been open!!!! Im not an animal so I refuse to eat food that has been mishandled!!!! THIS IS MY FIRST AND LAST TIME ORDERING FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!!!

First off best pizza i have had in a long time. for pickup wait time from order to leaving was roughly 25 minuets. (they had a lot of delivery orders) then for delivery they said 45 minuets (typical) you can imagine my surprise when it showed up 30 minuets later very short for distance from there to my house. everyone is very nice. the pizza is great. definitely worth the money. I will add another review some other time based on other food items. overall great would and definitely will recommend to anyone

When they 1st opened everything was great. Recommended to my friends and even called to owner to praise the food and staff. While I still think highly of the staff they have started cutting corners on the food. I was a little disappointed last delivery and almost completely disappointed tonight. Please wake up guys. Go back to the beginning. You may get one more shot from me. People do notice.

Can’t comment on service and delivery speed but the pizza has no flavor whatsoever. Feel bad leaving this review but someone has to get this score down so as to not compare it to greats like Zuppardi’s, Modern, etc.

Delivery of tuna melt and Philly cheesesteak with pasta fagiole and a Greek salad. Tuna was turned. I mean REALLY turned. Philly steak tasted old too. Soggy and slimy with barely any cheese. Parts of the salad were spoiled as well. Fries were ok. I hope so my kid doesn’t get sick. We’ll see about the rest of us. Soup wasn’t stellar either. Young girl on phone was pleasant, apologetic and happy to refund since we declined replacement food tonight. Hoping just a bad night and may try them again since we like the menu. Sorry for the 2 stars but that tuna...wow

Awesome pizza....thin firm crust, never burnt, perfect spices, sauce excellent and just the right amount of mozzarella!! Look out Salernos, Modern, Sal Pepe etc...this pizza blows them all away

I will start by saying that my wife is an extremely picky eater. So the fact that outpost is now on our approved places to eat is a huge endorsement for them! Its our favorite pizza in town, by far! She always gets the white italiano, and I go back and forth between a hot oil pizza, and a chicken parm grinder. The food is really good and I highly recommend it. Its more of a takeout place than sit down but there are tables if you wanted to stop in for a quick meal.

Service has definitely gone down hill. After doing a family get together we decided to call one of our trusted take out places. We dont eat out very often and this was supposed to be a nice treat. Two sandwiches and a salad for us to split with the adults and nuggets for the grandchild. Tuna that was ordered to share was spoiled, had an ammonia smell once the bread was lifted, and seemed to have slimy consistency. Before realizing My wife, my daughter and my grandson had some of it. Grandson ate almost the full 1/3 of it. He is only three yrs old :( .Wife and daughter had another 1/3 of it and noticed after two bites were swallowed with a very unpleasant rotten after taste. The cheese steak was not fresh. The meat tasted like it was in the cooler for about 5 days before being prepared. My son in law and I consumed ours before my daughter and wife did. The rest of the food was packed up and placed in the refridgerator. We were afraid to consume anymore of the food after that. We offered to have the driver come back and pick up the remainder of the food, the rotten tuna sandwich with the other half cut into thirds and the missing three bites but the counter clerk told us to keep the rest of it. She put us on hold (i am guessing to check the tuna) then came back on and gave a prompt refund without any problem. The first time we tried your restaurant it was great with fried fish platter, eggplant florentine, steak and cheese grinder (that one was very good not this time), and an antipasto... I am not sure what is going on but I only hope my grandson, wife, and daughter wont suffer from any kind of foodborne illness... please keep on top of things, I know its Monday, but if it doesnt smell right and you wont touch it with a ten foot pole, I doubt you will retain any customers. We tip well too... that being said the driver was very polite, and so was the young woman who refunded the order. Such a shame your food used to always be fresh. What happened?? If its bad throw it away dont mix the new and old together ...

Im from long island so Im picky about pizzerias. Pretty close to a ny pizzeria in my opinion.

First time ordering here. Waited an hr for it. Pizza arrived warm, pizza and toppings were doughy and raw and needed to be cooked longer. pizza was soggy, but hey, its food I guess. Salad was as basic as it gets mostly just iceberg. Didnt taste fresh. There were 2 tomatoes and 2 cucumbers in the whole thing. Pizza was my biggest gripe tho with a name like Legends. Nothing lengendaryResponse to owner: My name isnt relevant, my tastebuds are, though. I was very fair in my review. The quality of food you choose to make for your customers is completely up to you and your staff. Next time be more fair to the customer and deliver a well-made meal, as was expected.
