Its not like it once was. When I asked why they havent had my cigarettes in stock (its kinda hit-or-miss), the answer I got was the managers dont order enough. To which I thought, if this is an on going thing, you would think someone would be on top of it. - Then again, Im not sure if the girl that said that was correct either. Again, the customer service isnt what it used to be.

Shelton CT Stop & Shop has the best curbside pickup staff!! Always fast and really friendly.

Employees are helpful. Store is clean. However selection of products remain same and price has gone up. Considering shop rite is right opposite and big y is also on bridgeport ave. Not too mention in ansonia theres Aldis. Just cant beat Aldis price, selection at Aldis is limited but amazing prices. Stiff competition for stop and shop. Not to mention stop and shop now limiting cash back to $50. Wth stop and shop.

Went in for dish liquid. Found so many great bargains. I left with a full cart.

This Stop and Shop stole over $200 from me and will not refund me my money! The cashier told me the card didnt work so I had to run it again. They charged me twice and overdrew my checking account. The store manager told me to call corporate and corporate told me to talk to the store manager. They are sending me in circles and are not refunding me the money even though they clearly charged me twice for the same thing! I am going to be changing where I get my prescription filled and never going here again. I suggest you do the same.

Parking lot not level in places--shopping carts roll away while putting groceries in your car. Bread aisle is in middle of store. Should be on end near ice cream and eggs so your bread wont get crushed by adding groceries to your cart (you have to keep moving it) Other than that it is a good store, but a little more expensive than the ShopRite across the street. ShopRite has a level parking lot and bread on end of store near eggs and ice cream (the last items you put in cart)

As usual, I wasnt even through the first aisle and already they didnt have something I needed. Arugula this time. They NEVER have everything Im looking for, and theyre very basic items. So, I went to ShopRite. Prices are better, selection is better and checkout is always easier.

Great staff, being from out of town, I had to ask where some items were located.

This is not just another grocery store, because it has the best employee I have ever meet. John in the meat department was absolutely awesome! He was happy, very polite and went out of his way to try and find what I needed and after a minute or so he found it. He was a pleasure to talk to and just an all around great guy. If all employees were more like him the world would be a better place. So thank you for your help John. You are awesome.

The bread I purchased had expired 5 days ago. And the items on sale were charged full price at the counter. Both of which I only realized later. Not recommending this place.

I would like to give this Stop and shop 4½ stars. The variety of groceries you find here are amazing, this store is super clean, generally I love how most of the employees treat the customers for the most part, and although they should work on their inventory a bit more as the shelves have holes sometimes I feel they make up for it with all the other options at this particular location.

I only visited the Starbucks counter in Stop & Shop this trip, but the woman working was so nice, helpful, friendly, and patient! I made sure to tell the manager that she was fantastic!

Went to deli at 9:30pm, there was no one there. Asked customer service what time deli closed, she said 10:00...really because it was 9:30. Left and went to Shop Rite. Shop Rite has better prices and the store was clean. Will shop at Shop Rite from now on!!

This is just a review of the Starbucks located there.This Starbucks leaves a lot to be desired. I gave them a break the first few times as they had recently opened and I chalked up the problems to inexperience and training. However I have now been there 6 times. 4 times my coffee order was either made incorrectly, was cold, or both. One time they got it right but only when I went back and had them make it again. The last time I was there, I literally stood there for 10 minutes and stared at emptiness. Nobody there to help me and as far as I could see, nobody in the back doing busy work. I just stood and waited and waited and waited and waited...no one ever came to help me.They need a LOT MORE training. But not on my dime anymore...

Just used the on line pick up service at the Shelton store and it was great! Many time slots to choose from, everything we ordered was in stock and there was no more than a 2 minute wait for groceries to be brought out and loaded into our car! Will definately be using this service again!Much better than another online pick up service we were using where items were constantly out of stock and long wait times for groceries to be brought out. These folks are handling Covid really well. I travel past my closest Stop &Shop to go to this one. Arrows clearly mark aisles and are largely followed and staff makes an effort to keep their distance, where possible (eg stocking shelves.) Ive been really happy to have them nearby

Stop and Shop Shelton last two visits the credit card reader rejects my AAA VISA CARD. I USED THE SAME CARD IN STOP AND SHOP FOR 5 YEARS NO PROBLEM. All other places I use the card no problem. Must be a problem with the card reader. Talked to supervision at the store -- no good response --- Tell me my card is no good. I ALSO NOTIFIED BBB IN WRITING>. As a good customer for years -- the response from supervision in short GET LOST MY PROBLEM NOT STOP AND SHOP.Asked in other stores and was told the problem is the reader in STOP AND SHOP . Hope to hear that corrective will be taken. I requested a new card with the same number. When I receive the new card I will try it at stop and shop. In the mean time Im forced to shop other places. Very Sad the way I was treated at Stop and Shop. Thank You, Ralph Nicholas

Its my local supermarket. The store is clean. The meat shelf is starting to get filled more constantly but Stop & Shop price for Steak is high. I am better off going to Big Y to get better pricing on my beef and cold cuts.

South of town locale on state route 714 (Bridgeport Ave), this is on the main north/south drag through town with lots of shopping, dining and lodging options. This location has a stop and shop gas station so that makes even more of a destination for shopping and fueling up.

My favorite grocery store in the area. Good selection, nice employees, no complaints here!

Location is easy to access and stands out from the road. The store setup is very roomy, easy to navigate and find what you are looking for. The staff themselves are decently friendly, but by no means attempt to go above and beyond to help customers and endure they have a good experience. All in all there are definitely worse stores you could visit, so this one gets my recommendation.

Prettier women than Stratford Dock Shopping Center makes Shelton the S&S of my choice. There are many other small shops around that makes this better than the Dock. Although also a Super Stop & Shop it has a better selection than Stratford and rates up there with Milford. This S&S brings the Oronoque crowd, so the quality, quantity, and the store personnel are much better.

Fast checkout

I have been going to this Stop & Shop for over 15 years. Other than the lack of updates to the inside of the Store its not a bad place to grocery shop. If you bank with Peoples United Bank the in store branch is convenient and the store itself is pretty clean. Service is OK depending on how busy the store is. Its not the least expensive place to buy groceries but it is easy and generally fast to check out whether you are buying a lot or a little.

Nice clean store. Glad they have wing bar now. Its great to have everything in one store.

A great store but prices are creeping up and is a little higher than other grocery store.

Some of the workers here act like their territory is invaded. It can be described as hospitality with an attitude vibe. Maybe their not used to a more diverse population of customers.

Excellent selection of produce, the store is very clean and organized.

Mixed feelings. The place is clean and there is plenty of parking. I like that they hire the handicapped. But, except for sale items, the prices and selection are mediocre. The staff are nice, if you can find them. You can get in and out fast, if you know your way around.

They moved stuff around and thats a good thing and not alot of associates as I see in this store

I like shopping at Stop&Shop. I do not like the change to your online setup. I find it difficult to maneuver. I don’t get a weekly shopping bulletin. So I try to see it online the website but it jumps from one thing to another.

Im always satisfied with this store. The food is always fresh and the staff helpful. The prices are very reasonable as well.

I split my shopping between S&S and Shop Rite across the street. S&S good because it has Peoples Bank and gas station, but for pure market shopping, I am constantly annoyed that no matter what day or hour I shop, there are never enough live cashiers. I dont like the checkout yourself stations. The live cashiers are very nice, quick, polite and friendly.....but there are not enough of them.

Love it everytime me nd my boyfriend stay in the hotel we always shop here prices are very good everyone is super nice is my home away from home we staying in the hotel for a week soon cause my birthdate is coming up March 11 so I will definitely be shopping their ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

One of my favorite Stop & Shops to shop at. They have a nice selection of everything and you can always find what you need. If not just go to another one since they are a large chain. I love to stop and get a rotisserie chicken which has the best price in town. Sometimes I get a pomelo (large grapefruit)which they carry when in season or a Pluout (a type of plum). They have great stuff and priced well.

Many cashiers are rude and surly. I honored their picket line, too. Thanks a lot.

Because of the self-checkout here, there are lazy employees standing around doing nothing. There were no bags hanging on the hooks in a checkout aisle I was using. The bags were just laying in a messy pile in front of the conveyor, making it time consuming to package my groceries and there were customers waiting in line behind me. I told an employee standing right in front of the aisle doing NOTHING, There are no bags hanging here. Instead of just picking up the bags and hanging them on the hooks herself, she had to be snarky and said theyre right there in front of you. Sorry, but as an employee of Stop and Shop, its her job to hang the bags on the hooks, not mine, and thats not the way to address a paying customer.
