The only other discount grocery store I had been to before this is Grocery Outlet. The prices here were way better! Keep an eye out for expiration dates, a few of the dry goods were best by same day but we arent super picky about it. Also know they dont have everything at once that a typical grocery store would, so you wont necessarily be able to buy every single thing on your list there every time. We found a great selection of snacks, candy, cereal, and baking goods for fantastic prices. The store was clean and well organized, friendly staff. Im excited to start shopping here first and just filling in the rest of my list at the typical stores.

First time was great deal on cliff bars and many more items pretty random though

Nice little grocery store in downtown Shelton. I just stopped in to buy a dog timeout, which they surprisingly had for less than $2 and some cold drinks. They even sell water in a soda can!! 4 for $1

I love this place. Where else can you get 4 candy bars for $1. There are a lot of products there at a very reasonable price. Just be aware of the sell by dates. Pet food on the other hand is almost never expired. Other than that, I shop there a lot. Such a wide variety of merchandise. Need toothpaste, tampons, dog treats, chips, a couple candy bars, and a soda? You will only spend like $5 for all of it.

I miss the fruits and vegetables, love most its got a fridge section. Once in a while I can even find gluten free product.

Not your usual grocery store! But if you are looking for top quality brands and want to save money... a LOT of money... check them out! Inventory changes a lot, so stopping in to see whats new is an adventure. I picked up salad dressing (Newmans) for a buck! Awesome!

Lots of high quality items available at very low prices. You can find some interesting sauces and sodas in here. Stock changes all the time so youll usually find something new whenever you come in.

Here in the US, there is a problem with food being thrown away. This store is... something of a remedy for that. While many grocery stores will, up on a Foods pull date, either donate it to the food bank or simply throw it away. This is a third alternative. Much of the goods here are over produced at the factory, then sold to wholesale distributors. Some of the things you will find here are past their official pull date. But they sell them very cheaply. Their selection changes all the time, so if you find something pick up two or three for the cupboard. Youll never see it again.

Great prices, but some of the food is on the verge of expiration. Its a good place to shop for shelf food, not the best for dairy products. Its also great if your kids want some cheap candy or Little Debbies.

The people here are friendly and helpful. Prices are great. Lots of bargains. Got to go check it out... Youll love going here as much as I do. You can find lots of vegetarian and vegan foods here also.

If your looking for something specific this isnt your spot. Its the type of place you browse through and might find some killer deals on things that are already or are going to expire soon. Its a good old fashioned bargain bin. I for one found some food items I didnt know I needed for a way better price than Wal-Mart up the hill. Happy hunting!

Good place to shop for produce other things just check dates. Sometimes you can score. They also have days when any cereal is a dollar off. All choices are not just kid cereals. I paid .49 to 1.00...stocked up.

I went there a woman asked me if my small dog I was holding was a service animal she wasnt rude about it, I told her yes and was prepared to show her number and certificate if need be but she politely said it was okay, I continued to shop for about 5 minutes when I was on the other side of an isle and heard two female employees trash mouthing me and saying my dog was a pet... I then decided not to buy the items I was buying, slowly browsed my way to go out of the store when the woman who asked me if my dog was a service animal told me if I wasnt going to be a customer at her store that I needed to tell her I was parking there or else she would tow my car next time!All because I didnt purchase something from their overpriced store, most items are expired or near expired, items that are not are as expensive or more expensive than the grocery stores here In town.They used to be an amazing store awesome prices and my aunt worked there at one point... However that was long ago I would have rated it 4-5 stars.. Literally about 9-13 years ago.. Hopefully it changes or she may be put of business soon

*CHECK THE DATES!* Super great values on stuff but I usually stick to powdered dip mixes, dry seasonings, candy bars, and bags of coffee.

If you are stocking up on basics they have brand named items and really good prices it aint pretty nor fancy but its a good place to get things like condiments,salad dressing cereals, stuffing mixes, breads, snacks, some fresh fruit.Excellent prices.

The smaller but affordable Costco style of shopping, see something interesting buy it, its probably not going to be there again.

I enjoy shopping at the shop & hop. Always get the great treats for the grandkids and for the birthday partys, and the other holiday get togethers. You have to remember that its a discount store and I have gotten a few items that are past date. Somethings are still good, but sometimes the idem is bad, smell and taste a tiny bit before using the idem. Its the same as shopping at the Dollar Tree, or any other discount store. Need to use the food, not for stocking up your shelfs for emergencies a few years from now.

For a health conscious person, its hit and miss as far as selection goes. When they have something, its priced incredibly well.
