Come here all the time and something has changed- today I had 3 different people come up to me and ask if I needed anything. That has never happened. Whatever you’ve changed keep it up!

Fundamentally after the Brothers left this company they lost their compass on their policies, its now money over quality. They underpay their employees, this store has already made over 14 million this year(2021 so far) and cannot pay their employees more or even get more employees to make the store safer to work at. The lack of people who want to help is on a ratio of 5 people dont want to help to 1 person who does want to help. When you have an employee called 4 or 5 times to a department(Plumbing, Doors and windows, lumber) In Plumbing, there isnt enough coverage each day, doors and windows is ONE PERSON WORKING THERE, I feel bad for the lumber guys, because they get pulled to do outside orders, pro loading, moving orders, cleaning their department and dealing with disgruntled people who need stuff cut. The manager Justin is useless, he is being protected as a token person store manager of another store. So nothing he does will get him fired even if it breaks the company policy.Fair warning when you go here, youll not get a lot of help. If you do, the employees wont want to help a lot. But remember its not the employees fault, they dont get paid enough to do the full lay of the job. So some days youll get a helpful person other youll end up with no one or getting helped lack luster and probably with the wrong information. Plus in some positions they dont get fully trained for 6 months. Also the disinfection doesnt happen like they say they do, 0 employees disinfect anything, even during the lockdowns, they never did except once a or twice a day.

I went to the Home Depot on the North end. We all know Home Depot. What more can I say. However, on this particular day it was hit rather than the miss. They had what I needed. It was easy to find and no line at the checkout. Because as you, Im quite certain already know. You just never know, it could go either way.

I look things up online at the Home Depot web site to get an idea where to go in the store. Then head to the store, make a selection and self check out. Their store seems much more organized than the competitor across town.

I was shopping in the Sherman store for a battery operated trim nail gun and there was two young boys stocking in the department helping me.Their hand held device said that they had none in stock for the one I wanted but they found one in their top stock bays.They saved me a drive to a store that had one 30 miles away.The day I bought the trim nailer was Friday 8/27.

The associates are very friendly. They are extremely helpful with finding what you need.

I get $5 rewards cards but by the time I go to use them they are expired. Seems like an easy fix and many happy customers. So whats the problem?

Let me just say, Kayla is awesome! Everytime I went! Which was 3 different occasions recently. Knows what shes doing, always hustling, yet makes time for me and my problem and goes out of her way to solve it. Each time! Great customer service that one. The type of employee you want! Impressive!

They had the item I needed in stock but they were very unhelpful. I had to load a hot water heater myself and nobody was willing to help me. Employees standing around on their phones... Another customer ended up helping me get it loaded into my truck after I struggled to get it there. Definitely dont expect help if you need it.

Went to buy a new gas grill and a new pole saw. Selection for both was really good. Bought the Fiscars pole saw. The selection for gas grills was crazy good. I found the one that I wanted and much to my surprise, they allowed me to purchase the one that was already assembled! Plus they loaded it in my car for me as well. Ive had a few bad experiences in the past with this particular store, but today went exceptional! Thanks Home Depot!

As always you can find somebody to help you find what you need. Nice clean, employees are always friendly.

Need more help in lumber dept. A 70 yr old man shouted be loading 18ft 2/12. Really come on..

Worst Home Depot experience in my life. Still better than the Lowes down the street. If you can get your stuff from a different town I would.

Nice store. So far has had everything in stock weve needed. General floor employees are friendly.My problem is with the customer service register/area/booth.Not friendly or helpful at all.You ask them a question and they get annoyed. You take a return, very brisk about it. (Ive only had 1 return).

Got my washer, dryer, refrigerator there. All in the same day. The salesman did a very good job with the paperwork took his time did everything right. Gave me a delivery date. No charge on delivery if you get over a certain amount anyway you dont have to hunt for someone to help you I liked it very much good experience. Thought prices were reasonable also

You can almost always find what youre looking for. The young man in the paint department was extremely helpful!! College student, his name was John!

Its always a pleasure to shop at the Sherman Home Depot. The staff is friendly and aways helpful. The paint dept spent sometime helping me research a color code that had faded from the lid. She could have just said I cant find it. Thank you

This home depot has a better variety of plants than the one I usually go to.

Ordered and paid for $20,000 in flooring and appliances. Was told my flooring could be installed and that it would be in just a few weeks. I ended up having to move in the home for months before getting floors and my appliances and have had to live in a house under construction the whole time concrete floors and hot plates and microwaves have been how i live.... Have made it to As high as the district manager But was told he would help and he didnt. Finally got installers to come and they tell me they canTc install that type of flooring! Somthing they could’ve mentioned before i waited for months! And no one at home depot wants to fix the issue as usual waste of my time and money and im owed free floors for sure but we know i wont even get a “sorry”

Most often have items we need. Prices and inventory are competitive with Lowes.

I have bought in store and have had things shipped from here and no problem. They have pretty much everything that I have shopped for.

Was there with Family on a busy Sunday afternoon. We passed some floor displays of some bathroom vanities with tops and faucets a few times and werent even shopping for them in particular. The deal was as is and today only...Charles gave us a great Deal. THANK You. You Nailed It!

Im sad to say Home Depot has gone downhill. I doubt if Ill return for awhile. Specifically today the load out area outside of lumber is a disaster area. They put parking spaces under there so now there is a traffic jam of vehicles entering and exiting and trying to pull through to load. Angry people coming and going and stuck waiting. When we commented to a manager about it we were told it was corporates layout.

Great service. Wish theyd have more employees though. The manager was amazing to chat with.

Employees do not help customers with heavy items. One time I was looking for a cart and an employee told me to look in the parking lot. Not a customer service friendly place.

Delivered Railroad Ties here and the receiving crew were very professional and polite to assist.Even though it was only 20°f outside at the time and with a tiny forklift to work with, they still tried to unload me fairly quick!

Much better than Lowes. People friendlier and more helpful. I feel tje producys they sell are better quality than what other home improvement stores sell.

Ordered online the night before. They didn’t have the sheet rock pulled for us. Had to wait for a customer associate. (Only one working the desk)She called someone to pull the sheet rock for us and take it out to the contractor pull up.. 10 minutes go by and I look back around the sheet rock to see it just sitting there. Not to happy. Will be submitting formal complaint online.

The store its self was good, but we had a terrible time trying to get help from staff. I was less than impressed in that regard. I think we will just stick with Lowes.

I waited 40 minutes for someone to approach me or acknowledge me. They said hi. But what should have been said is Can I help you? I will be with you in just a moment. Let me get somebody for you. I just wanted to know if they had the same dryer as on their website (that said that they have it in Sherman.) My dryer died. Took it all apart. Still wont work. Now I NEED a dryer and I have $800 cash on me. Guess Ill go to Lowes or somewhere that wants me as a customer. As I was leaving another guy was having trouble finding what he needed or someone, as well. But Ill let him do his own review.

I was really disappointed this trip. The website said parts were in stock and the associate that worked the aisle insisted they didnt have them and never did. Of course I insisted that the website said they did, I just wanted him to double check. Instead he waived some card in my face and said hed been doing this for 15 years then he took me to the computer and said wed look it up. We found the item and right there it said 5 in stock. Then he said he wished they had the store number there. And I pointed at the screen and said right there. Says the aisle and everything. So we walked over and of course the parts not there. So I said well I guess we are both right. I told him You say its not here and all i can say is that the computer says it is supposed to be. Then he told me that it felt like I was attacking him. I walked away and said have a nice evening. Sorry if my tone of voice was on the loud side. I really thought I saw it there in my last trip even. But accusing me of attacking him (verbally i presume since I never made a jesters other than to the rows of items) really bothers me. I wouldnt mind verbally berating the corporate database programmer or whomever is in charge of that though. And yes I know sometimes someone can have my item in their cart and just hasnt checked out. This seemed different to me.

Im a rental property owner calling to check the availability of materials. Ive never used this store before. Customer service was very nice but understandably couldnt answer my specific question and had to transfer me to building materials. After 14 minutes on hold with nobody answering and continously getting kicked back to Customer service who cant answer my question, I just gave up.

Clean well stocked and had exactly what I needed.

I went shopping for a hedge trimmer and a leaf blower and I ended up buying Ryobi 18V plus one systems, it took me about 45 minutes to find out where the 18 volt plus one batteries were, they are not in the same place as the equipment and were in a middle aisle about 6 or 7 isles down. It was slightly frustrating talking to the employees and their baby computers.

Good store if Im in the area. Paris, Tx is closer for me

Purchase or rent, youll probably find it here. Busy on weekends which is to be expected this time of year. Weekdays are more manageable.

Had a very pleasant trip. The assistant manager went the extra mile to find what I needed. Friendly and very helpful. Definitely will be returning again.

We got a great price on a washer and dryer, but the service around it was miserable. The cashier screwed up my wifes name on the Home Depot card and were still working to fix it, we got the wrong washer, and both deliveries for the washer/dryer they just dumped them in the driveway and said they dont do installs. Dont know if it was the contracted delivery company or the store, but someone is sorely mistaken.

Ive never been to Sherman TX., store although I hope its better than the Jupiter & Buckingham location in GARLAND TX.I tell yall what, the further south I go, customer service is getting worse. Its like the Yankees and west coast have taken over the South and southern courtesy has gone north. I give 3 stars tell I can confirm.

Some of the employees practically run if you get near them when youre transgender. But as far as prices and items stocked they are pretty decent.

Ive had very bad experiences with Lowes but when I decided to try The Home Depot, it was so much better . There were associates everywhere asking if I needed help. And when I needed help there was someone there for me. There were smile and how are yous everywhere. I felt at Home!🙏🏾

Curbside pickup was fast and super courteous. When an item on my list wasnt available, the salesman went inside to look into it for me as I waited in the comfort of my car. Mind you it was drizzling and yucky out today . So Im very grateful for the service I got!!! He was super helpful and effecient!

Lousy customer service. Attendant wanted to chat instead of helping me handle 2x10x10 lumber as well as customer service was extremely slow and couldnt find the order they called me saying was there. Also ignored the obvious damage to the box and items inside.

We went in to buy 2 pairs of window shutters. Seemed like a simple enough transaction. We found what we needed in 5 minutes but it took over 40 minutes for the staff to find the price and were still not sure we didnt over pay. We talked to 3 different people and were told 3 different prices. Of course, they charged us the highest price.We rarely shop at Home Depot any more and this is the exact reason why.

I needed a new patio door and install. I went in two weeks ago and arranged for their contractor to come take measurements. I was assured home depot would call the same day as the measurements were taken with a price quote. The measurements were completed first thing Wednesday morning. The contractor told me they would contact me by the end of the day.They never called...I went in Thuraday afternoon and nobody was working in the department.I went back today Saturday waited 45 minutes for assistance. Several times someone was paged to come help. NO ONE CAMEI went to the customer center for assistance. They tried to get the department associate to respond.30 minutes later I was told the associate just clocked out and someone would be back in another 45 minutes to an hour.If the employee had just clocked out, where were they the 45 minuted i was waiting for assistance?I have always shopped at home depot and never had an experience like this. Time for your corporate office to find out why you customers are not being taken care of.

Isles are always closed..no one around for 30 minutes÷, chip readers for cards never work, and self checkout is a waste of time, constantly waiting for help when the system doesnt recognize your item..Guess I will buy a microwave at wal mart..

Working on a small project. It was easy in and easy out. Bought a few electrical items butt connectors, crimp tool, termanal and tie wraps. Love the self checkouts and military discount by showing military service indicated on my TX Drivers license.

Your basic home improvement store. Ive always gotten great service here.

We didnt find a few of the things we needed. It was hard to find some one to help. We finally found help and they were nice and helpful. Not sure why they dont have help button like in other locations.

.....horrible experience with Tuff Shed.. I hate to rate at a 2 star now but the purchasing and installation of a Tuff Shed really hurt my opinion of Home Depot.

This is specifically for the rental center. Just spent $700 renting a tile saw for 2 weeks. Returned it better than I picked it up and the guy behind the counter who wasn’t wearing a mask said it was dirty and charged me an extra $25 for a cleaning fee. The gfi adapter was not included when I picked it up initially so I had to go back and get that. Water pump wouldn’t spray water so I had to repair that to make it work. But I’m sure they check all of that before putting it on the shelf for the next guy when they “clean” it. What a scam.

What a waste of time at this place today. Wednesday for a lawn mower battery and no one could help me. These little 15-year-old kids arent knowledgeable about anything and didnt really try to make an effort to find someone who could help me.
