My 77 Ranchero runs & sounds better than it ever has! The only reason I didnt give them a 5 star is because I didnt like the fact that they charge just to diagnose your vehicle & they are a bit pricey! Other than that, it was a nice surprise when I picked it up & saw how they cleaned it up... maybe a wax job??? And filled it up with gas. Thanks guys!! Thoroughly enjoyed talking with Ed when I picked it up. Super nice & friendly & would recommend them!!
I had my gas tank relocated from behind my seat to under the bed of my truck. They were very professional. Good communication with any questions I had. They hid the gas filler behind the still functioning side marker. It was exactly what I wanted. They nailed it!!!
Very helpful, friendly & professional 😀
I must recant my views of this company I am disappointed. You see I took a 2000 Saturn to be restored and repaired but I got a car which still doesnt work. Wow! I spent several thousand dollars and a lot of time. Every case I know is different and after all the time and effort I will have to sell car to get something back... I question clocked hours for so called work performed, it looks good on paper but in my case final product it wasnt worth it. Donated car to Cars for Kids. NEVER FIXED LOST THOUSANDS
At first I was getting frustrated with how long my vehicle was in their shop but I soon realized that these guys are legit and they know what they are doing. They were trying to save my pockets from getting hurt any way they could and I really appreciated that. Real honest guys and definitely recommend
Omg! I have seen his work on a pick-up truck and the quality of his work was terrible, and the way he treated his customer was upsetting not only to me but other that have seen, heard, and witnessed his actions. You have free will to be a consumer, all I say is beware and do your research before investing your money with this one.
Got exactly what I asked for, my truck looks perfect. Definitely will recommend and use again.
If you like some place to have a free run at your bank account this is your place. I brought in a 71 nova to have an engine built and installed. The old one had to be pulled and the new one fitted and gas tank changed. Not much of a big deal but the labor hours was insane. The very few parts they bought and labor by the hour ran 9500 bucks. Im not done yet. The engine and lighting wireing was to be replaced and they were payed to do it and they didnt. Gave me two different stories about the harness saying it was all in one and then finally said it didnt need it and the money was used towards labor costs. After getting my car home I found several finger tight bolts on the engine and surrounding areas. Im still in the process of checking everything myself. This is no doubt the worst experience from a shop Ive ever had and I will not go back or recommend them to anyone ever.
The amazing quality and service on the cars really nice gentleman to work with just a good loving family plus I customize your cars all my life and every car for every year making model since Ive been morn I know
My father owned a 1941 Chevrolet 2 door sedan he purchased in the late 1970s. It was his intent to restore the car to its original glory. Years passed without fulfilling his restoration dream. He was too busy raising his family and running his company. At the age of 88 he lost a battle to leukemia.I inherited the car, and in his honor, decided to honor him by having the car restored.Dad had Texhoma Classics rebuild the engine of a 1926 Model T he owned. That is how he and I first got aquanited with Texhoma Classics. The 41 was picked up, transported to their shop, and work was promptly started. After removing bondo, etc, the 41 body turned out to be a rusty basket case. The scope of the job changed drastically. Many man hours were required to restore the body. They fabricated floor boards, fenders, rebuilt the engine, restored the drive train and chassis. The last thing they did was paint the car to perfection. They have completed their part of the project, so now the rest of the restoration such as installing chrome, interior, etc. will be my task and hobby. All thru the process, Texhoma Classics kept me informed of the projects progress, and all expenses were pre-approved by me. Their system worked very well. No surprise invoices.Their quality of work is excellent.
I have inherited a 1924 Ford model T runabout pickup from my father after over 55 years in our family. In that time, a Worford transmission and interior upholstery kit upgrades in the 1970’s were the only changes made. It has been running, registered and insured over that period. I have been driving the T regularly until I noticed some driveline slipping issues several years ago, and parked the car.I met Chris and Travis at a car show in Denison and the conversation eventually got around to my car. They invited me to tour the Texoma Classics shop. The conversation with Chris, and the tour of the shop, convinced me to trust my family heirloom to their care. They did an initial condition record and appraisal. We decided to do a full drivetrain and suspension rebuild, including cylinder boring, babbitt bearings, valves, carburetor, transmission, Worford transmission, driveshaft, brakes, rear end gears and bearings. They also added a top kit that I had purchased earlier but had not installed yet. No other body or paint work was done.It did not take long for the money to add up. All total, nearly $20,000 has spent to bring this antique up to daily driver condition. About 3 months later, I was proudly cruising the neighborhood with my refreshed treasure.I got to know Travis through the project as he was the primary tech on this job. Chris and Travis were super to work with, and kept me informed of the project progress. I was able to coordinate visits and watch some of the work being done, including poring some of the babbitt bearings, engine stand startup and other general wrenching.I have been driving the car for 2 years since completion. I am completely satisfied with the quality and caliber of work by Travis and Texoma Classics. There have been a couple of small issues: a rear axle oil leak and an electrical charging problem. I contacted Chris and we were able to make timely and proper repairs and adjustments.Over all, I am very pleased with my association with the Texoma Classics team. I regularly recommend them to my friends and family who have in interest in quality work on their prized automotive possessions. I will use them again when I have a need.Sincerely,Roger Simmers
