These guys are thorough! Always put my trust in them. And they do business in a timely manner.

The front desk lied about still having a contract with enterprise rental. They did not, but decided its ok to waste 20 minutes of a customers day while they checked and then refused service.Edit: I went to the correct contracted party, and they needed no approval or any nonsense explanation.

The 2 salesman were waiting on customer. I sat on bench and waited. The fat guys customer left and he did not recognize me. I decided to wait him out. He won the wait and I went down the street and bought the tire at Discount Tire. Sub standard customer service. I do not have to beg for service.

I just picked up my Jeep from being worked on their I 2005 Jeep Wrangler Jesse was my mechanic he did an amazing job I will definitely take it back there if ever needed hopefully not lol I know one thing is for sure I wont need to take it back for anything that he fixed! I definitely recommend this place for all types of automobile repairs. The communication between this place and myself was impeccable I was informed on everything that was happening and before any work was then I was asked for my approval.

So I had a oil change done here and it went SMOOTHLY, associates were very knowledgeable, honest and respectful. With that being said, I returned today for 2 tires and the service went even SMOOTHER. Price was fair, didnt feel ripped off afterwards and I will MOST DEFINITELY be returning for the other 2 tires very soon. Thanks Dayton Tire you guys are AWESOME!

Good service, tire repair,dodnt have to wait very long, about 6 Customer s the when I was there, didnt have to wait but about 15 minutes total time about 4 people ahead of me, place for us old folks to sit nice waiting area, coffee water available, very clean, every one space well, actually saw 2 drove off due to having to wait, people still coming in when I left, same fer for tire repair as everywhere 15.00 but the tire man did not check air pressure for same in all tires all were different 32,34,35,37psi my car is equipped with pressure sensor read out in dash, otherwise good work will go back if my other tire shop is still closed due to pandemic,.

I needed a tire for my truck that was supposed to be road warrantied. They lied about how much tread life it had and then upcharged the mounting and balancing to get the new tire back to normal sales price. I know it was normal sales prices because I’ve bought about ten of those tires from them. Total ripoff and terrible way to run a business. I’ll never be back to that tire shack. Bi-Lo’s over at Denison is a much better operation.

My husband jokingly said, the only problem he ever has at Dayton Tires is he doesnt know which person he wants to go talk to first. We operate our own hot-shot truck driving business, and they do all our work and always keep us on the road. They are honest and do an excellent job every time.

I have been to this place about 5 times.mechanics are not usually personable people b/c they work on machines not people. That being said I have interacted with about 5/6 of them here and they are all decent people. The front and management staff are always nice as well. Everyone I have spoken to is able to understand what I say the first time around. Prices are very fair and I can not see our family going anywhere else. Worst experience at any tire shop I’ve ever been to. I drop my car off at 9 AM and nothing had been done to it at 3:27 PM when I had called they said that it was not even put back into the shop yet for an oil change and two tires replaced. When I walk to the front counter to speak to a manager they told me that since I didn’t wait in the waiting room that my ticket got pushed back several times and that they didn’t even know if they would be able to get to it today I had waited for six hours in town because I was told originally that it was OK for me to leave and that they would get to it whenever it was my turn this company is unprofessional half the employees look like they’re on drugs and I do Do not recommend using this business unless you want to waste your whole day for nothing to be done they didn’t offer any kind of discount or anything for their mess up and their inability to explain to their customers that waiting is the best way to get your car serviced no matter what time you KMan I hope the manager and the owner sees this bad review and contact me so that I can give them a piece of my mind horrible company horrible employee and I wish I could give this a zero star

Tire air sensor replacement. My pickup trucks tires air low light would not turn off with the tires properly inflated. They managed to reset the tire air sensor in my tire and the truck dash tire low icon turned off. They were honest and did not charge me for this. I am grateful for the service.

Theyre good. Will look at your car,put it on the lift and give you a quote for free. Then pretty much stick to it. Ive dealt with them for years with no problems

My name is Mike Downs, owner of Mike Downs Fencing Inc in Sherman Texas. For years I have been using Dayton to provide tires for my service trucks as well as my wifes van and recieved excellent service above and beyond the call of duty. They recently gave me a great deal on a set of ten ply tires and followed up on the repair of my truck via telephone. Sure, you might have to wait a little but quality is not quick. The prices are great and the personal service is well worth the wait.

Scam artist.Went in for a simple front alignment. They quoted me $1200 for all new suspension. They told me everything was bad. Ive been a mechanic for 10 years. There is nothing wrong with my suspension. Took it somewhere else and they did an alignment without any problems. Stay away

Used to be good but now they spend too much time searching your car for anything they can make a buck off of. They prey on people who do not know anything about mechanics and exaggerate minor issues in hopes of sticking you with a repair bill, that’s why the wait time is so long. Don’t get me wrong if there is a legitimate safety concern they by chance saw while doing the job the car was there for that’s one thing but they systematically search your vehicle and that minor oil leak, well “you car will blow up if you don’t let us fix it right away”! They will also come up with any excuse they can not to honor a tire warranty. Bottom line Dayton tire and Danny is only interested in making a buck off you so don’t be fooled into thinking they care about you as a customer.

These guys are really good... AT TAKING ADVANTAGE OF PEOPLE WHO ARENT THAT KNOWLEDGEABLE OF THE AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY. It is so sad people like this are still out there. I went off of advice and a coupon book from a family member to go there so naturally I did. At first, I thought these guys were really honest about everything they told me and fair with the prices. I brought my car in because I wanted them to change the belt that was slipping and they said theyd have to fix the valve cover gasket or something of that nature. This was the cause to the belt issue, spraying oil out of the valve cover or something. But even then, Jesse couldnt give a guarantee that that would fix it. But it did! And only a little over $100(after coupon). I thought that was such a good deal! So, to my surprise, a week or two later my alternator mysteriously stops working entirely. Of course I bring it in and Jesse doesnt mind helping me again. Just to change the alternator, which I now know is simple and relatively cheap, took 2 days and cost me over $300 AFTER coupon! I still think nothing of it because these guys came highly recommended and seemed fair. So I ask Jesse to look the car over please so I can have an idea for future repairs. He mentions a front brake change in a month or two and rear close behind that. Oddly enough, my car starts pulling a bit so I say to myself, go get a 49.95 alignment at this shop with the coupon you were gifted. Awesome Christmas present! I bring it in for the scheduled alignment only to wait an hour, which is how long the actual alignment was supposed to take, to be told that they need to put this and that on there as well as struts, shocks, you name it. With my coupon it would ONLY cost me $240. And to top it off, these new parts they were going to replace MIGHT not even do the trick... The entire time Im discussing this with Lane, Jesse (who I asked to look the car over a few weeks prior to) is sitting inches away saying absolutely nothing to me about any of it. I thought that was odd because Jesse was the only person I had ever even dealt with there previously. Also strange one could miss that many things that needed to be fixed in a short amount of time. Lane tries to convince me to just leave it there and theyll help me out, but my better judgement won this round. Meanwhile, possibly unrelated, I watch as directly behind lane, two guys are standing and listening. One will occasionally whisper something to the other and theyd have a good laugh. Needless to say, I will not return to that store. I debated on requesting a manager, but Ive only ever seen lane or Jesse act the part. Theyre real smooth, so be careful everyone. DONT USE THE COUPON BOOK ESPECIALLY, UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE FORCED TO USE IT BEFORE THE EXPIRATION DATE!!!! ITS CRAZY PLACES THIS ARE STILL ALLOWED TO BE IN BUSINESS. !!!UPDATE!!! Took my car to hometown shop in Arkansas while on vacation and oddly enough they were able to align it with no issues for $60. Very strange that none of the problems described to me by these guys actually existed. UPDATE 5/24 The new alternator I purchased at Dayton and had installed by Dayton gave up. I had it installed on 1/30/18 and it quit working on 5/24/18. They charged me $220 for the alternator alone. I just ordered the identical part on Amazon for $78 and will be installing myself. THEY ARE SCAM ARTISITS

I was going to do over $2000 worth of work on my car. I call out to talk to them and get put on hold and the guy never comes back to the phone. I finally just give up, and will find a different place to do my business. i realize they are busy, but they should not put you on hold and never come back to the phone. I was probably going to buy a set of tires too. Not now!!!

The only place I will take my truck. I live in McKinney and go out of my way to be serviced at Dayton tire. Always an honest, professional experience.

OK so just before 1 Oclock I brought my hub and hub bearing to be pressed in. I was told it would be one hour. I came back just before 2. I was then told it will be done soon. 45 minuets went by without a representative even explaining a situation where a previous customer was gonna take extra time and I was being put on the back burner. So I asked again how long it was gonna take. They told me within the next 30 minutes. The store closed at 3. We did not get my part until almost 4:30. The job was a simple 15 minute job. I can understand issues with a previous customer but notify the people after them waiting it will be a while longer and give them a reasonable ETA. When I spoke with the manager he didnt seem to care I was frustrated waiting 4 hours for a 15 minute job that was estimated at an hour. All they had invested in this quick Project was labor. They could have even apologized and offered a discount due to the extreme time laps. But no they just told me have a great day and told me to pay the full amount. I was planning on getting an alignment. But I can not that this shop to do anything to my car in a timely manner. Do NOT use this company. You would be better off going to Walmart...... FYI walmarts auto center sucks. So if Im saying go there instead of these guys they are really bad.

I was in Sherman visiting friends when the blinker went out on my truck. My husband was not with me, so I went to Napa thinking they would help me switch the bulb. Although Napa sold me a bulb, they would not help. Dayton tires not only switched the bulb out so that I didn’t have to drive a long distance through the metroplex without a working turn signal, they did it for free. I was greatly surprised since I had not bought the bulb from them and expected at least a nominal fee. They were extremely gracious even though my need was fairly trivial.

I was yelled and cussed at over being unsatisfied with the work on my car ... my car was kept over 24 hours .... and IS STILL MESSED UP. Half the work I was charged for wasnt even done ... noted by a second opinion and pictures. Berry let Layne Whitfield yell and cuss at me in his presence... he falsely identified himself as an attorney. I was refused information on who worked on my car . I was refused managers number note- thats my legal right . Cops were called, compliant filed, and charges are being pressed. Noone should ever be put through that.

Good prices on tires, kinda slow on service.

They sold me two new tires without telling me of an alignment problem. Tires had to be replaced within two months. This is not the Dayton tire it used to be.

This was hands down the worst place I have ever taken my car to. I went in for a simple oil change and asked as soon as I walked in for them to use synthetic oil because that is required for my warranty. After waiting two and a half hours, they finally called me to check out, only for me to discover that they used regular oil. I asked them why they would do that after I specifically asked for synthetic, and the cashier had this golly gee, I dunno why we didnt do that attitude. Not very bright people and they definitely have terrible customer service. Whats worse is they have signs up saying We do factory preventive maintenance. What a joke! They didnt even realize that not using the right oil would have completely voided my warranty. Had to wait at least another 30 minutes for them to pull my car back around and change out the oil to do what I asked them to do in the first place, if they even really did. You will be sorry if you take your vehicle to them!
