What is there not to LOVE about Parkway GMC! They have the most outstanding and amazing personal in their service / sales departments. 10 kernels out of 5. Superb service and satisfaction all guaranteed.
I went in to get an oil change, rotate tires, and a state inspection. Wanted to charge me 75 dollars to complete the inspection by putting on a new set of wipers. Told them to forget the inspection and I would take care of the wipers. I went and got the wipers from OReilly s and took them in and told them go ahead and complete inspection and I would put the wipers on myself. They would not complete the inspection, so I told them I would never step foot in their business again. Suzanne from another counter stepped in and said let me have them. She had the wipers on in about 2 minutes with a smile. I did finally get the inspection and left. If more people like Suzanne took pride in what they do to take care of people, this might be a thriving business. I have purchased a new pickup, a new Yukon, a new Yukon Denali and a buick enclave all from out of town dealers because of the non caring attitude. Suzanne took care of me today and I appreciate it. I will probably continue with my service needs.Thank youMark
I tried calling a dealership in McKinney bc I read online this was a recall item. Well they tried telling me it wasn’t so I called GMC in Sherman. At first I thought I was going to have the same problem but after a few minutes they told me to bring it in and it would be covered if it was the vacuum pump.Set a date and time convenient for me and I took it in. The young lady checked me in and even offered me a ride home. How nice and convenient is that?! By 4 pm it was fixed and even detailed!!!Not only was the manager very professional and was quick to figure the issues out but the new young lady “Amy” was very helpful and polite. Coming from the Dallas metro and use to having to wait hours and huge dealerships this place is a dream come true. You usually don’t get fast and convenient with dealerships. I might regret saying this but they have a great deal on an oil change and tire rotation. Very happy with service and will be taking my truck back for an oil change and tire rotation! I hope this helps someone decide to give this place a chance. I didn’t see very many reviews for a lot of places when I was looking. Thanks again GMC peeps!
They were great! Oil change, tire rotation, inspection and a car wash, who could ask for more. All employees were very friendly and seemed to want to please. Ive been a customer for about 10 years and Ive had consistent good experiences. 👍
Jimmy was extremely kind and helpful. He was honest and easy to work with!!I felt like the service was very pricey but was in a bind and had to have it fixed! Very disappointed in the cost, but service was great!
Their service dept stays busy & the employees are rushing around to satisfy the vehicles owners who wait inside the lounge. There is complimentary K-cup coffee with flavored creamer choices. Also offered are snacks for sale in vending machines. I was kept informed periodically of what stage of my oil change, tire rotation & car wash they were at. My 2019 Buick Encore includes 6 of the oil change, tire rotation & car washes per year which is very handy & appreciated!
I had an appointment at 10:00 AM to have my truck serviced. It was over 2 hours later before they finished. I would have expected that without an appointment but not for a scheduled appointment. I’ve leased and bought trucks from Parkway over the years but the service and friendliness I experienced in the past are gone. Today was my last visit. I’ll go where my business is appreciated .I saw your response. You have my phone number. If the manager wants to talk to me, he can call me.
They had truck 3 days and unable to do warranty repair because of part on back order. 24 miles were put on truck while in their possession and fuel was so low that it wouldn’t even say how many miles were left. They do a lousy job cleaning the vehicle and I specifically asked them not to armor all the tires because they use so much it gets all over the truck and I have to re wash it but they did anyway. They don’t clean the inside like salesman said they would at purchase. Once the warranty work is complete I will most likely start using another dealership that’s much farther away but hopefully they will have better service.
I was told I had to schedule a time to come in for an oil change. I arrived about 5 minutes early for my appointment, checked in and was shown to the waiting area. I sat there for an hour and a half before going and asking the girl who checked me in what was taking so long. She didn’t know and I was told it was going to be another 10-15 minutes!! After sitting there for another 20 minutes I went to check on the progress and was told “just a few more minutes”! In total I was there over 2 hours for just an oil change!!! When my name was finally called I went up to get my keys and asked another person why it took so long. She told me that it always takes at least an hour to have an oil change because they do some additional stuff including wash my car 🤷♀️ All I wanted was an oil change!!! No one told me that it would take so long when I scheduled my appointment. And for the record, the only thing that looked cleaner was the driver and passenger floorboards were vacuumed. That’s it! Thankfully my warranty won’t be effected if I get my oil changed elsewhere so I WILL NOT BE BACK!
Mrs.Nadia was really sweet and she answered my questions and concerning friendly and was always had a smile on her face...they get my car in and out! Have my baby back ac blowing really cold! Thanks guys for the hard work making sure I stay cool this summer !
I called and made an appointment about an hour before I brought my car in. They started servicing my car immediately. I ask if they could take me to the assisted living facility where my mother resides. They picked me up when my car was done. I’m always pleased their service and friendly staff.
I took my vehicle to be fixed with Corey, the auto body manager. I trust him with my vehicals. However, Parkway let him go so I picked up my vehicle. When he aquire his next Auto Body job I will take my vehicle there.

Received prompt professional service. Service found a bad tire and would not let us leave until proper service was performed. I felt as though there should have been an adjustment on the bad tire seeing as there was only 14,000 miles on it. Road hazard should have been covered. The concern over our safety was very comforting. Thank you Parkway.

We’ve gone to the huge dealerships in McKinney and Plano and everyone is nice at those places. However, there is a special touch here in Sherman. Always friendly and warm, my son was chatting everyone’s ears off and everyone there engaged with him and made him so happy.We make a bit of a drive to get here but its worth it. This was my first time using their services. Stopped to get car inspected and needed two front tires to pass. My low tire light came on on the way home. Im not sure why yet but they were very polite and quick getting everything done. I will update review once I find out whether there is anything wrong or not.*update* went back and they were not able to fix the light being on since my vehicle is a Toyota. They were very polite and made sure all my tires had the proper air pressure.

Had a factory recall on the ignition,and they did not tell me all they needed was the key . I live in Ivanhoe Texas and Im a single woman . I had to find a trailer and have someone putmy car on trailer and pull it to Sherman .All that trouble and then they say all they needed was the car key. Something they could have told me in the beginning cuz I was out of time money and the head ache of having to ask for help w the car and trailer.
Went in between appointments for oil change and car wash. Interior was vacuumed and wiped down which I was not expecting. Very happy.

Service quality has been reducing over the years. This time took two hours and they didn’t even come inform me when vehicle was ready. Every time I go, there’s new staff with lower customer service skills.

I am a person of habit. If I venture into a business of service and I am or not satisfied, I will or will not comeback. This is my second time that I needed auto body repair within the last 2 years. Instead of going after the referral from my insurance I decided to choose Parkway Collision Center. I am definitely one satisfied customer. They not only took care of what most clients would see it as necessary and visual to the average eye but went ahead and above to show me and repair major errors from when I took my car to the previous shop that made it happened in 3 or 4 days but really did a quick fix. Thank you guys for taking care of me and my car !! Definitely recommend them.

Kahla was kind and considerate. She helped to assess what might be awry in the engine compartment. The orders were quickly written up. She called when she said she would to let me know just what was up. Even though no repairs were completed, my vehicle was washed and ready when I picked it up.

Only had initial oil change performed on wife’s new car. Did tell them about a door rattle, but they were unable to duplicate it (not surprises, as it’s intermittent).I would return for service. They did a good job on my 13-year -old pickup repairs a month ago).
The service personnel go out of their way to be helpful and courteous. Historically I do not take my service work to dealerships, however this is certainly an exception. I feel Parkway GMC offers the most professional and competent work for my vehicle.

Did not like the inconvenience of going into one room to talk to service advisor then back outside in the drive thru area to get to waiting room. Waited 2.5 hours, I DID have a lot done to my truck, with great coffee and a tv that didnt work, sound only. The only magazines were golf digest and one auto service.. They are remodeling and I hope this is a temporary layout. You cant talk to a service advisor without going outside to get back to their offices. Techs are always courteous. Prices seem high but maybe thats the norm everywhere. I honestly have not checked around. Overall, I do like Parkway GMC in Sherman, Tx with ONE exception. The service manager? I asked him months ago to get me a price on a remote control air suspension system. Nothing yet. Oh ya! A few months ago, He did get me a quote on air shocks. NOT what I asked for. This same dealership put the very system I asked for on my previous GMC. No problem. A Different guy was in charge back then. Also, in December, by phone,, I asked this new guy what kind of gooseneck hitch he put in my truck. He said B&W. My boyfriend bought me an extension ball for Christmas for a B&W hitch. The base is SQUARE. Guess what?!?. Mine is a CURT hitch with a ROUND base . The B&W is useless for me. I hate to say that anyone is not doing their job, but......

My truck hasnt been right since they didnt tighten my lift kit bolts and my whole front end was making these awful noises none of my park assist works needs to be serviced when they straightened the front end where I got hit my tire still rubs the fender wheel it never did it before and the other side doesnt do it so that tells me it was never done right in the first place I straightened frames for 15 years its not right ⁴
