There is an employee named Alex, he is so very helpful! He took his time to make sure I got the right part for my truck and BMW. I went to a mechanic locally that told me my vehicle wouldCost 2000.00 to fix. A friends said “no way”... go to auto zone on an Floyd their staff is better! Let them look at your car for the right piece. Alex went out to my vehicle and sized everything right. Both parts were under 60.00 and he showed me how easy it was to install! WAY TO HO ALEX!!! Awesome to not get screwed by “mechanics “ ! I’d you need parts and are uncertain Alex and Shirley staff know what the **** their doing! God bless! Be safe and thank you for your service! Raquel is a ROCKSTAR … so I needed a new battery, ran in as soon as they opened and GREAT they have it in stock … But .. it’s Sunday and I’ma girl … how can I change a battery by myself … so I ask if anyone is around to assist … Raquel … mind you this battery was built in the car so it was a beast to remove … she did it like I tie my shoelaces …

I just had the best experience here! I had an idea of what I needed to fix my brake lights and how to do it but Joe knew exactly what I needed and even took the time in the freezing cold to replace my fuse and make sure my brake lights were working before I left. So kind and courteous, there are still good people in this world and two of them work right here.

I went to the Auto Zone on william floyd pkwy in Shirley NY to have my check engine light diagnosed. There was a nasty women manager who instead of going out to put the device on the car, She told me to do it. I have no knowledge of cars. I put the device back on the desk and left the store with no answer. This person should not deal with the public if she cant handle it.

The worst experience ever. I bought a battery out of the Shirley store two months ago. When I returned it. They told me they will charge me the difference and Ill have to wait for the refund. ( I assumed the difference ) I was charged full price twice $153.00 and another $153.00 $306 dollars. I called them back and they said it was a clinch for the first 153. the other was a computer error that will be fixed within 3-5 business days.
Unfortunately service was slow, severely understaffed. Not to mention they sold me a remanu alternator and it didnt work. Luckily I did the work myself or who knows what I wouldve paid in labor for the removal,install, remove again, install again. They also gave me my money back without any hassel seeing how it was their fault, I didnt expect anything less. If they hired a few note people who have specific duties things would go faster. Like just a cashier not ccoss trained to do anything else just check people out.
It was a beautiful experience getting to quality care that I came for for my car. I give a rating of 5 stars, I love you Anna, I love you Joey

Not sure if Im very satisfied with this store...Today was the third time in a month that I tried to find parts and supplies here with no luck.As I was told, if you can not find what you are looking for, you might want to check with the other stores on Montauk hwy, Main Street.But the staff is very courteous to its customers.Since this store is still fairly new, it only carries a small selection of parts and supplies.I guess that they were not expected to receive an overwhelming amount of customers, therefore it is not required to stock up on commonly used/needed items.I dont think Id recommend anyone to really go here unnless you needed a battery or coolant.

Auto zone raises the prices so when the vendor offers a rebate, no one loses money except the customer. It is ridiculous. Auto zone and their vendors are in it together. I just realized it few days ago. Once the rebate is over, auto zone will continue to charge extra price that had originally offset the rebate. Be aware and dont think you are getting a deal with rebates and other good stuff Auto zone offers.
