Me and my boyfriend took our Nissan Maxima to get our inspection done we couldn’t pass inspection because the light was on. We went there to see what’s the problem. They told us what to do and we did it. We paid for the parts they told us to get and paid for labor only to still have the same problem and now we have another problem. Our car makes crazy noises. Before it didn’t make no noise. Now we hear clicking here and there. We went back to see what’s the problem. They turned the light off and Told us to drive a certain mile to reset the computer in our car. We drove miles and came back to them just for them to say we had to clear one more sensor. So we drove just for the light to come back on. Which means they never fixed what was wrong with the car. Made us waste $1700 for nothing. My advice be careful with these mechanics and definitely do not come to the these guys at J and C tires. Now we got to take it to Nissan. Pay extra money to get it fixed.

Great service honest ppl

The rear view mirror fell off my car and I just didnt feel comfortable putting it back on myself. I also knew taking it to the dealer would set me back a couple hundreds. I called AE Auto up and they told me to bring my car in. I was in and out in less than 15. Those guys were friendly and honest. I paid only a couple bucks too. I definitely will be going back there for all my car needs.

When i first got my car it had a lot of problems, a friend suggested i go here. I regret that decision. I came a total of 3 times for 4 different problems. First The price was outrageous $500 in total when the parts at auto zone cost less than $200. Second the catalytic converter was bad and he tried to scam me, said if i didnt buy a California emissions converter instead of a universal it wouldnt pass inspection, even showed me a website to get it for cheap. I went somewhere else and got a regular cat. Came back because i paid for an inspection(it passed). Third time was the last time i went back. My check engine light came on and i had it checked and it came up the part they recently fixed for $500. Guy checked my oil and told me it needed to be flushed, but i had just changed the oil less than 1 month ago and i confronted him and he told me hes just telling me. They take advantage of YOUR IGNORANCE. DONT trust these guys. Since then i do all the work on the car myself. Saves money and you know the job is done right

I took my car there for an inspection, but they were looking to make money on repairs so they made up a couple of non existent problems with my car. My car is worthy of inspection so I will just bring it to someone more honest.

My 1st visit to them and my brake line had broken on a transit carrier while moving to LI, NY. Honest assessment, fair price. I am an adult daughter of a father who started his career as a mechanic and moved up the ranks for a nationwide company he worked for his entire life. So since age 5, Ive been under a hood with dad teaching me about mechanics, now Im 55. Im the 2nd owner (dad was 1st owner). The only reason I didnt give 5 stars was bcuz my small console mat was missing when I picked it up and it had smeared mud on the carpeted floor mat. Use paper or plastic when working on ppls cars guys. Its a historic muscle car, a 1996, less than 80k miles and I wont find another mat easily if at all. Wasnt happy about that at all. Next time Ill always check my car thoroughly b4 leaving.

I took my Van back for a starter and the runaway idle issue ... it starts .. hope the idle stays ok .. Alex is not a bad guy ... I am giving them another try see what happens ..

This was the first shop that found the problem...called me and explained the issue...and didnt charge me an arm and a leg...I did go out of my way to his shop on the recommendations from a good friend. ...now I will bring him my friends to him for repairs. ..thank you Alex ...my new mechanic.

I am going to have to strongly disagree witht he gentlemen Richard Perez, everytime ive been there the service and workers were extraoridinary!! What people dont understand is the car fails the inspection, the inspector doesnt fail it. Overall amazing service and I reccommend this place to everyone!! =)
