I have to say I am very impressed. I went in at 8:08 a.m. Everyone was already hard at work. They were very professional and the place seemed to be very organized and clean. The staff was very nice. Service was almost immediate, even with other people in the store. I left the car for what I thought would be the day...as I have experienced with other places... By 11:00 my car was ready, with 4 brand new Mavis tires, at a reasonable price. The ride home was smooth and my little alignment test showed it was perfect. Definitely the place to go.

I dont live close to this location at all, but theres very few individuals I trust when it comes to working on my vehicle. I specifically take the ride out there to visit Mickey. Mickey has been a pleasure to work with over the past half decade. His knowledge, ability to understand the urgency and deliver an effortless experience is second to none. I always feel my vehicle is taken care of under his watch. I recommend to ask for him when you visit this location and youll definitely receive quality work. I dealt with Mickey and he was professional and courteous. I dropped off my jeep and it was finished earlier than expected. He called to update me regarding the status of my brake pads and that I needed windshield wipers. I like that they checked with me and didn’t just take it upon themselves to perform these items as they were not on the original order. I will be back shortly for the brake job! I highly recommend this mavis location!

I ask to change my flat on driver side rear because there was screw in the middle. I thought the job was complete. It turns out I notice that my tire was still flat. I also notice the screw was still in the tire. Bottom line the work wasnt done and the guy didnt do his job. This was the Mavis in Mastic Long Island. I live in Huntington so I wasnt going back. They charge me I Think $21.50. For a work order that never happened. I got it DONE RIGHT at another shop not called Mavis. Ive has some work done at Mavis before. I wonder.......

The place was officially closed when I had got a nail in my tire and even though they were closed he came out to help me they were 100% professional and I owe them so much gratitude. I would definitely be a repeat customer, what a great shop to go to.

Have been bringing my car here for years and have never had any problems. Friendly staff and great service. They’re usually pretty busy so I suggest dropping your car off

I have to admit I love dealing with this location. Yes they may be busy and you may have to wait but every time I come here they are always honest about what needs to be done and I never feel like I’m getting work that I really don’t need. Most recently I came in for tires and a brake job thinking I needed it since it’s been almost 60k miles but they showed me and honestly told me that the brakes were still fine and not to worry. Thanks to their honesty I was able to save some money for now.

Mickey’s the best. He’s friendly, VERY helpful, and honest. Hard to find in other shops. He keeps me up to date on my car’s services, and is always fair and helpful with advice.

I had made a reservation, for a vehicle inspection for a specific hour on their website for which a representative called me to double confirm and this person requested specifically to be ON TIME.I came on time and the person who - for what it’s worth - wasn’t really a warm front desk person after she went to the back said that they won’t be taking my car because they’re busy. My question after that was that I had made a reservation and hey even called me after to double confirm and her answer was “this is not a doctor’s office and they may or may not take us”. I’m taking off from work and leaking arrangements to come and they not only don’t apologize but to say “this is not a doctor’s office” in a very condescending way… not the best customer service to say the least. If you still want come service your car and you had a reservation make sure you triple confirm and make a phone call before you leave your home. Really a bad experience not only for the way they handled it but apparently their planning isn’t the best. Hope they make improvements, as I don’t mean to hurt anyone but preventing their internal issues to affect more customers.

Initially started going here because its around the corner from my house. Continued going here because the service is excellent. Havent had a problem in about 10 years of using this location. Friendly staff, clean building, knowledgeable techs. Cant speak highly enough.

I ordered my tires. They came in and were installed. I wanted a wheel alignment but the machine was down. I was not told that until went to pick up my truck.

I needed a new tire put on my rim that I bought from Tire Rack... I called and the guy told me to drop off the tire and rim that day and theyd try and get it done as soon as they could. Only took a couple hours and they had it all done and ready to be picked up.Super convenient and fast, and the guy was very nice.I would definitely recommend coming here in the future.

Im usually very skeptical about repair shops because of previous experience Im so happy to say that Mike and his team have made a permanent customer out of me. Picked up a screw in my tire and was losing air quick. Called them and they said to come right in! We were in and out in 30 mins with a replaced tired. Didn’t cost and arm and a leg and the staff there were very nice. I had used this place before for another vehicle and had the same great service. Highly recommend!!!

Up until this past week Ive never left a vehicle with a mechanic/shop for anything other than inspections, tires or recalls for the simple fact that I am capable of doing nearly everything myself. I have all the tools and resources to get it done. The problem was time, I didnt have the time. Mickey assured me he would handle my truck as he would his own, and he did. The entire front end was rebuilt with quality parts and I had it back sooner than expected. Communication was excellent, I will definitely be back and will continue to refer others here. Thank you.

Prices are good, service - NOT sure. If you find anything online, call them and confirm about your product. They may not have it when you go there. Can anyone please fix the front door. It slams and makes loud sound.Ups had a tire delivery. They just dropped the tires in the showroom while other customers were waiting. This place used to better than this.

I recently hit a really bad bump getting on the highway and my tire went out. I went online to schedule an appointment and it was for the next day. I called and he said I could come the same day within an hour. They changed my tires Quickly and the customer service was amazing!

They do not honor the road hazard warranty on their tires. ., in fact they plugged a tire in the sidewall on my daughters car.! Illegal i was told by another tire shop.Terrible to say the least !

The reason why I’m giving them 3 stars. Only because i made a appointment for 8am and there was NO one at the front desk to check anyone in. The guy from the back (the person who should be working on the cars) had to come and check the ten people in that was waiting. How do you make ten appointments for the same time. And you have no one working. The guy John was very nice but also he looked overwhelmed. I almost felt bad for him because people were getting mad at him. I’m sorry but this location has to do WAT BETTER! I only came back here because i had great service done two years ago at a different location. Went in without an appointment to have my tire plugged....asked if they could check my brakes also. They fixed my tire and told me I needed brake pads. I asked when I could make an appointment for it....and I was told they could do it now! I was very surprised. I didnt have to wait long....and the price was very good. Thank you 😊

Excellent experience with Mickey! Felt my car was riding rough in the front end when I brought it in for a tire rotation. Turns out my two front struts were shot. Was given a reasonable price and certainly worth it as my ride is much smoother now. Will certainly be back to have the back shocks done!!

I went to Mavis because their prices were very affordable. We were looking for a “beefier” tire for our Jeep Grand Cherokee, and the staff were super helpful and knew just what we wanted! The tires took a few days to come in, but it was totally worth it! We dropped the car off after work and the job was done so quickly!! We had an oil change and brakes done at a Mavis near home and an adjustment was needed so we went to the Shirley location which was closer to work. The manager Steve and the tech George could not have been more accommodating. They fixed the issue with no hesitation. The car is great and we will definitely be back!

Got a flat tire on way home from work. AAA came and changed the tire with the donut that came with the car. I called Mavis and they had the replacement tire in stock. I was told to come right over and they could change the tire. They were quite busy and said it would take awhile. I expected to have a long wait, however the wait wasnt that long at all. I was on my way within 35min. Thank you Mavis. When the need arises, youll definitely be hearing from me again. Oh, and by the way, the woman who changed the tire was exceptionally friendly and efficient.

Even though I did a simple oil change. Sometimes even that can be a chore at some locations. But not at Mavis! They had me in and out of there before I could finish my buttered roll. Full synthetic was at a great price. Sometimes I am weary about chain places but they definitely did right by me. No BS up selling. Thanks guys.

I went there with a leaking valve stem, they greeted me immediately after walking in and asked if I wanted it done right away or if it could wait a little bit they were really swamped so I didnt mind leaving the tire to my surprise the gentlemen behind the desk on Mondays went outside grabbed the tire and quickly started changing the stem. There is a great work ethic there between all the guys and gals in the shop and desk. So thanks again guys

I had an appointment for a tire rotation when I showed up the guy behind the counter says “I can’t do that today” I said I made an appointment then he says that he couldn’t(more like wouldn’t ) do it that I had to show up in the morning and drop it off. It’s a tire rotation not a motor replacement. It must be nice to just turn away jobs whenever you don’t feel like doing something.

I bought a tire and a warranty from this location about 4 months ago and had a good experience. Fast forward 4 months too my car to the Mavis in Coram, as that’s closer to where I currently live. Needed to replace the tire that I had just replaced no big deal as I had the warranty. Never was I told when I purchased the warranty that I would have to pay anything out of pocket. Was just told the tire would be replaced for a lifetime NO MATTER what happened to the tire. So I’m thinking great, because when you purchase a warranty it covers everything, unless otherwise stated. So although I only had to come out of pocket for half of what I originally paid, I was NEVER told I’d have to pay anything. I do not like being surprised with things I should’ve been told from the beginning. Needless to say I won’t be returning.

Do NOT go to this Mavis!I scheduled an appointment online for 10am. I arrived & was told I would have to wait several hours to have my tires checked.I asked what was the purpose of scheduling an apt time was for if I have to wait hours? They asked me if I made the apt online. I said yes, they said, well, you didnt talk to anybody here?Really????The service here is horrible!This is not the first time I have had an issue with this place.This Mavis is the worst car care place I have ever seen!!!!Stat away!!!

Ordered 4 Falken Wildpeak AT Trails for my 2014 Outback. They arrived a few days later on time. Dropped my car off at 4pm and with the hour they had started on in. Either due to my error putting on my spare, the manufacturer, or the service tech, one of the Stud Bolts sheared off when removing the spare. They replaced it free of charge. I just had to wait until the next morning for it to be ready. And it was first thing in the morning. I would absolutely recommend Mavis in Shirley. The amount of tires available online is crazy and reasonably priced. And the best part is they didnt mess with my seat.
