Was buying lumber and nobody to help. there was a woman helping a customer and a woman in a chair next to a short man both facing away on computers. They just sat there and pretended to not see me. Eventually more people walked up and the little guy decided to do his job. Man this hotshot didnt know anything. I needed windows and doors and lumber for an expansion. He didnt know much about anything and wasnt any help. I asked if they had a manager around and he said he was a store manager and knew what he was talking about. We went around for a bit and he gave me a piece of paper and walked away. I didnt end up even paying for my items I went to lowes. There workers are more knowledgeable and friendly.

Little pricey, but supply and demand is whats going on. Several associates asked if I needed any help which is nice to see finally. Store was clean and organized and stocked.

Just went to Sidney Menards. We were told thatchildren needed to wear masks or be in a cart. The employee greeting us and sharing this message was rather rude.It would be nice to be greeted by someone friendly when entering your business and Im certain it would make people more likely to shop there.

Awful experience. On 1/25 I purchased an upright freezer for $600 plus $90 delivery fee. Chose delivery date for 1/27. The email said they would contact me within 24 hours. They didn’t email, so on 1/27 (day of delivery) I called them and asked when to expect them to arrive. They said they couldn’t do it today and it would be tomorrow. My wife was already home from work and waiting on them. They said they could do it tomorrow (1/28). So on 1/28 they call my wife and they told her they won’t be able to bring it into the house. She told them she had no way to get it inside. We need a dolly to get it into the basement. So I called them and asked to talk to a manager. They said the best they could do is leave it in a garage. We don’t have a garage. So I said you will leave it on the sidewalk or in the grass and the guy said yes. I asked him what the $90 delivery fee was for, as we only live 1.5 miles from the store. Won’t even bring it inside and expect me to pay $90 to drop it on the sidewalk. So I told them I’d like to cancel my order and called Lowe’s to order one. Lowe’s will deliver for free and place it where you want it inside the house, not the sidewalk. Looks like I will be shopping at Lowe’s even more than menards now.

Very nice shopping trip. We were looking at a 51 infrared space heater. They still had it in stock, an older gentleman helped us get a cart and loaded it. Quick check out. A young employee pushed it to the car and loaded it. All was great as usual.

Everyone was so helpful, I wouldnt mind working there!

So Menards wants you to pay full price for a lawn cart that is absolutely filthy, tires needing air, no paperwork (had only display cart left), wouldnt so much as take a few dollars off! Not the best store for returns either.

Store 3216 April10,2021 2:47pm register #3 employee Kathy.Very snippy from the beginning of our purchase. First comment was to not remove the plants from the cart very agitated and obvious to myself and my husband then Kathy goes on to say don’t put the plants on the belt because they would tip and then that wouldn’t do anyone any good very sternly and proceeded to yank the bill from my husband’s hand. At this point I let her know she was very rude and she says she was trying to be funny. I said there was nothing funny about her behavior from the minute we arrived and her reply was insisting she was trying to be funny. I ended up asking her to just please complete her job and finish our transaction. She literally said excuse me making me repeat just do your job. No one was as at the counter by the rebates because my husband wanted to report it before leaving the store. Tom from the building department was an absolute pleasure to work with and has the exact personality for assisting the public. Sadly my one star had the chance to be much higher until the crossing paths with the wrong person running a register on the way out.

Pricing not correct. Cashier Debbie was rude and told us to go to Lowes. So we walked away from the items we wanted to purchase and went to Lowes.

Always clean, always helpful employees to be found, great seasonal areas and pretty easy to find what you want. Definitely my preferred place to shop for home and garden. The only downfall is their appliances section. You lose a whole star for that guys...sorry but your selection and help is super underwhelming there.

Poor customer service. I ordered 2 kayaks on line. I arrived to pick up the department manager came out and threw the kayaks on the back of the truck. This was a very windy day and I struggled for 20 minutes to strap it down. It would have taken a couple of minutes for him to help me strap it down. As I was looking at the kayaks I noticed they were not the right ones. I went back inside and they said yep they are wrong and we don’t have yours. They offered a refund which I felt was unacceptable. I had driven 30 minutes to pick them up and wrestle with tying them down for 20 minutes. I located the correct kayaks at 2 other store and asked them to ship them to me. They said they couldn’t do that. The manager did say if I paid for the shipping ($400) he would give me a $400 in store credit. I declined, I felt they should pay for the shipping, it wasn’t my fault they pulled the wrong item. I also have no desire to spend another dime in their store after the way I was treated. Do yourself a favor and go next door to Lowe’s! I was greeted with a friendly hello and helpful people in each department I visited.

I went to Sidney ohio Menards to buy a gas grill that had a price tag of about $ 240 and at the cash register they said I needed to have a facemask on before they would check me out . I told them I wasnt wearing one for medical reasons. They said at this store you need one regardless. I said Ill take my bussiness elsewhere. I went across the street and purchased the gas grill at LOWES without a face mask . I hope MENARDS likes turning away customers. They lost a sale of $ 240 .It will be a long time before I ever go into another MENARDS !!!!!!!

I bought a vanity top for a home remodel it was warped. Went back to return it the replacement was also warped. So we drove to another Menards for a replacement. They wouldnt honor the price from the original purchase and I had to pay more for the same top along with being inconvenienced for the defective product and drive time!!

Menards lost a lifelong customer today with the final straw in a long series of events. To be fair, menards has good pricing on some things, but in general you absolutely get what you pay for, here being no exception. Over the years and this year especially, the employees at this menards seem to have lost intelligence and can’t answer the simplest of technical questions with regard to tooling or anything. Then, earlier this year pre-covid, I encountered a very rude check out attendant who began scanning the next customer before I’d even had a chance to bag my own items and had to sort through mine and the subsequent customers. I asked for help bagging and was told she was not allowed to help bag. I reached out to corporate over the incident and never heard a word back. Today I had a $600 cart full of goods and when I got to checkout was informed that my facial covering was not sufficient for them to be willing to check me out and that I would need to purchase one through them. This is the same facial covering I have with me every place including hospitals. There’s no intelligence amongst employees or managers, it’s like dealing with the phone company back in the day. My menards card historically does about $4,000 in purchasing per year there and it will no longer.

Thanks so much Menards, bought and paid for a refrigerator, went to pick it up to find out that it was supposedly sold out. Had plenty in stock when we paid for it and then told the last one was sold right before our transaction went through. Not buying it told them to reimburse me. Told us we could pick one up in Tipp City. Not a happy person right now,if you didnt have should have been told right then and there.

Went to run a quick errand with my toddler. They wouldn’t let us in because he didn’t have a mask on nor did they have one for him. We have not been anywhere that requires kids under 2 to wear a mask. We will not be back.

Wouldnt let me past the entranceway without a mask. But they conveniently had them for you to buy if you want to shop there. Hell no. You are not forcing me to buy something just to walk in the door.

Employees harrass shoppers and refuse to check out their purchases unless you have a mask no matter if you have a medical condition or not they dont care. Managers escort you to the door if you dont have a mask and refuse to buy one from them. #shoplowes

Went in there, got all my items, went to check out, said I needed a mask, I have a medical condition and CANNOT wear one, Drs orders and they refused to ring up my items, WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN. So we went to Lowes and gave them our business as we will from now on.

The staff was helpful. Like any large store the friendliness and helpfulness varies from staff member to staff member but overall it was a very pleasant shopping experience. I was impressed that they hire the handicapped for customer service. The selection of products is good and the prices are competitive. They offer frequent specials such as their 11% off everything in the store special that runs frequently. What I dislike as an older shopper is having to go out, get in my vehicle, drive through a security gate, find someone else to help find merchandise, load up and drive back through a security checkpoint. Not as convenient as some lumber operations.

Spent $5000.00 dollars on flooring and tub. Got home open tub box. Tub crushed on one end packing box not damaged at all. Called store for help and received none at all. Would not go back if last lumberyard in Ohio. Terrible customer service

I luv this store. Their guest service is impeccable. I love the music except in so many departments you cant hear it because of the HVAC system; so of course I want it louder. They say if its too loud then youre too old.

If I could give a negative rating i would. Called before I went and they said yes I could order the pool i wanted. I got there and they you can not order pools. Wasted a 30 min drive there and a 30 min drive back. Customers service people have no idea what they are talking about.

Spent over seven thousand dollars in menards over the last year tried to return a hundred dollar worth of merchandise I got a in store credit Ill never shop their again

We have been doing a lot of business and spent a lot of money working on a house new kitchen and bath. The kitchen cabinets dont come with very good directions your better off watching utube videos. We were missing 2 cabinet doors and when we went to get them were treated very badly by Randall who also was the one who sold us cabinets and never told us that we had to put them together all he want to do that day was hurry and get rid of us. He told my husband that he had to watch the video before he could give him the doors like he was asking for something we didnt pay for. So almost a day later he calls and is really nice and says come get your doors so now another trip back to pick them,up because they screwed up really.

I wish they would open one in East Tennessee!

I have found that Menards is much cheaper for hardware than other competitors. I could buy a package of 38 SS carriage bolts for nearly the same cost as 8 at lowes, and a Menards associate helped me find all the hardware on my list quickly. They also have a very good lumber selection. The 11% rebates are just an added reason to shop there.

I ordered a scaffold on line. They sent an email when it was ready for pick up. When I got to the store they loaded it for me.

In my Opinion this place is definitely better than Lowe’s because Menards has a better variety of just about everything the staff is also very friendly the bathrooms are well maintenance their outdoor section has pretty good stuff and overall the store is pretty good to be honest with you I’m just doing this so I can get more points with the helpful requirements

Found an item I wanted, website shows this store has 15 of them. So I drove 70 miles to get one, maybe 2. And no where to be found, lost inventory a flat out lies.Do not trust the website, Always call first, I learned that lesson the hard way. And no reasonable response from store staff, sad and destroys my faith in Menards.

5 stars for the pleasant young woman at the customer service desk. 4 deducted for her supervisor who, when asked where a certain product was located, pointed and said over there. He saw me walking all over the place and not once offered any additional assistance.

Went in for all things, a battery for an old truck. They seen the quick onslaught of customers. Opened a 3rd check out line and had everyone taken care of quickly.

Has everything you need but stuff can be hard to find. Not all employees are helpful... Some just tell you the general direction of where to go but the guy today was super helpful and showed me exactly what I needed.

Called before going to the store to make sure they had what I needed as the local menards didnt have enough. They said they had plenty and I offered to pay ahead to make sure it would be there but they said that was not needed. Drove an hour and they were way short and did not have what the computer said they did.The store manager Ryan was very helpful and took very good care of me as a customer.
