I had my transmission checked and was told it seemed fine and the fluid level was correct. I suggested a fluid flush since it had never been done (100k+). The flush was scheduled and the service was completed on time and professionally. The front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. Ill definitely return for any future maintenance and repairs.

They call you the day before your appointment to remind you as well They call you and give you updates while they fixing your vehicle. They dont take long to repair the issue. Good value using a coupon for an oil change, safety check and tire rotation. Will use them to rectify a couple of suggested repairs/maintenance. They werent good about telling me when my truck was ready for pickup.

Dropped the tire off on Friday for a repair and also discussed the possibility of replacement and was informed of price for the new tire. I was told that it would be completed by the end of the day, wasn’t. Was told that the tire might give way and not reseal when I already gave the go ahead to replace if needed. The repair didn’t happen, the new tire order didn’t happen until I told him again to replace if needed, finally got the new tire on and received on Wednesday

I think it was Jose that I met upon coming in for the first time. So nice and accommodating! As well as the rest of the crew. Also the services are a great price. I got full synthetic oil, an engine filter, tire rotation, and a/c Freon replacement with dye and it came to $228. Not bad. Very happy with this place although they didn’t have same day appointment.

I ordered tires from R&L. Id been looking for a place to do it and they ended up being the cheapest . The people there are also very knowledgeable, reliable, and helpful . Would recommend them if you need items for your vehicle, or servicing of any sort . :)

They have no place to sit just one chair. Other customers have to stand outside with no coverage from the rain. No canopy, chairs outside are made from material soaked from the rain. Prior to this time they had a canopy for people from the rain, sun with plastic chairs outside but you sure do charge a good high price.

I clipped a deer with the driver’s side rear view mirror, which knocked it off. I provided a replacement and R&L installed it in less time than it took to eat a hamburger! Courtesy, efficiency, promptness, excellent value is how I would describe the service in a nutshell.

I’m from out of state, in town visiting a family member. R&L had very quick turn around despite me bringing them a used truck from Northern Minnesota loaded with rust. They got a full brake replacement done in a day and a half, and I will feel much safer hauling a fully loaded trailer back home.

Ive had problems with squirrels nesting in my engine compartment; in the past, the rodents chewed sparkplug wires, but this time they shredded the air filter. The car would start but then cut off within seconds. R&L correctly diagnosed damage to the engine intake mass air flow sensor and other issues. Repairs were done within 24 hours, and my car is running normally again. Elijah, in particular, was extremely helpful.

Told me I needed to replace three things with the car, the torque mount, the transmission mount, and the engine mount and quoted me $1,200. I called around town and found someone who could easily replace all three for a total of $750. When I took it to the second guy to get it looked at he told me that the mounts were not the root of the problem and weren’t ready to be replaced.

These guys were awesome in helping me out with an emergency tire repair while visiting from out of state. Worked me into their schedule quickly and did the work at a great price! Thank you!

The shop was very quick to get in contact with me after my car was towed there and fixed my car quickly. They were very accommodating and I highly recommend them because they go the extra mile for their customers.

We’ve used R&L for years across many cars. Most recently on an older Jeep where they’ve had to do some extra research and work to get some issues repaired. They’ve always been professional and done great work. No complaints.

We were charged $250 to get our belts replaced and all they did was replace them. The belts werent tightened to specification and after returning to have it fixed the issue was not resolved. I called the owner Rusty, as per his request, to see what kind of customer service response he would give and what I received was blame for not coming back a 3rd time to resolve the issue that his mechanic created by not doing a thorough job at the initial appointment. He claims his mechanics are top notch and full of integrity. I have to strongly disagree. Not only is this shop unprofessional, it also does not truly care about their customers. Beware!! A job that was only an hour long has now cost me $500 due to their mistakes. Belts that only needed replaced properly resulted in a seized clutch fan due to misalignment. Instead of taking ownership for his mechanics, he stated that people just make mistakes. He then proceeded to insult my vehicle by implying it is old and not taking any responsibility for the quality of work his mechanics perform. If you decide to use these quality mechanics just know what youre in for.

Our tpms system let us know that our rear passenger tire was having a problem as we were leaving town, so we turned around and went back to the service center and they immediately got Us in and fixed our tire for a great price. Even though we will probably never be in that town again, we were thrilled with the experience.

Fast service. I asked them to check battery and all systems fluids since it had very low mileage since last servicing a year ago. In the last 20 years I have learned to trust their integrity and knowledge so told them to repair or replace any problems and do what they thought should be done. The work was all completed within an hour at a cost of only $41. While waiting in the sun I appreciated a complementary bottle of ice water. I trust them with my life and for 4 generations of service they have provided it to myself and others. Excellent COVID-19 protection provided.

As a young single woman from a big city I know the risks of being taken advantage of by any car related business and so Im always a little apprehensive about going to a new place. I received a flyer in the mail for an oil change, rotation, and a full however many point inspection. The inspection came back with everything checked off as good, including the windshield wipers, which I know are bad and one is completely missing. Makes me not trust anything else they said they checked,or did.

I needed an oil change and had my spark plugs replaced. Great service. Dropped off my car in the morning and it was ready by noon. Runs great. They always do a great job.

My GMC 2500 truck broke down and I needed it repaired asap as I was headed out for a trip to Nevada. Larry understood my predicament but said they were completely booked but promised he would at least look at it and see what parts it may need to repair. I will never trust this garage with any diagnostics again. They tried to rip us off to the tune of $4,300.00 for a new engine in our 2000 Toyota Avalon!We traveled to Silver City, NM, arriving Saturday morning, June 17, to pick up my grandson from my daughter and son-in-law who were traveling from San Antonio, TX. (This was the halfway point for both of us and was also the birthplace of my father, aunt, grandmother and many other family members.)Less than 4 miles out of town our car overheated. We pulled to the side of the road, turned it off and called AAA. While waiting, a good Samaritan stopped and informed us all the repair shops were closed until Monday morning. He called several mechanics he knew but no one answered. He gave us a list R & L was the only AAA authorized garage in town so we towed the car there and set up with AAA for repair services.We went to the garage on Monday about 1pm and my boyfriend was told the car had a blown head gasket but due to a slow computer we could not be given an estimate on the work, so Michael the service writer was going to call us b4 5pm. We never received a call.The next morning we returned to the garage. We were told we had to wait for Michael to go over paperwork for the repair. Michael told us that we needed a new engine and that a rebuilt would cost $7,000.00 but he was looking for a used one for $4,300.00! he said the car had an engine knock. I asked if it was a lifter or a rod knock and he said he didnt know. I asked for a pipe to find the knock and he replied that he left his stethoscope at home. He continued to tell us how complicated the engine was and that even Toyota dealers didnt mess with them.We stepped out and decided to have tow the car to another garage recommended by our good Samaritan. I know some about cars and what we were told didnt make sense: there was no mixing of oil and water in the engine, he never started the car for us to hear the knock, and he could not give us any specific reasons for the need of a new engine other than he heard a knock.We paid for the diagnostic work which included a AAA discount and came to $38,56 and promptly called the other mechanic who gladly agreed to see the car. The new mechanic was very informative and specific on what he would do to check for engine damage. He called us 2 hrs. later and informed us the car was fine. He replaced the faulty radiator cap! He also drained the oil and checked for metal shavings. Fortunately there were none. He assured us the car was fine and we could drive it home, which we did, all the way back to La Puente, CA.I was shocked and appalled at the lack of professionalism and actual diagnostic work performed by R & L Service Center. The mechanic who supposedly checked our car was a certified Toyota technician. He never refilled the cooling system, (It was still empty when it arrived at the new garage and they had been driving it like that to move it in and out of the garage at night.) I have a copy of the service record that states the oil was 1/4 qt. low, the cooling system was topped off, and the engine was tested and failed. Id like to know what kind of test was performed on this engine. I would like to know where all the coolant went that they put in, and whos idea it was to think they could lie to us and try to get either the engine replaced to the tune of $4,300.00 or get us to abandon our car.In all fairness the car is old, but it has been well maintained and has no mechanical issues. It has new tires, new battery, new radiator, an new alternator and over 260,000 miles. I hope this review will help save someone else from going through what we went through. We had rented a car on Monday for the week, stayed an extra day in our motel room and the only up side was enjoying more meals at wonderful eateries in Silver City while I researched family roots.We have since reported this garage to AAA.

I went in thinking I had a problem with my drive shaft. What they found was a much smaller issue, fixed it timely, now working perfectly. I was prepare for a fairly high charge and to fix the original issue the estimate was reasonable. That said, what I actually paid was 1/5th of the original estimate. I trust them to do the right thing by their customers!!

I’ve had great experiences with theses guys, honest and timely. Recently I had trouble with a new service writer not listening. Overall though it’s the best mechanic shop I know of.

2X @ R&L. Will become a regular for service. The shop is clean and organized as it should be. I dare say it is a model of how to do it. My wife and I particularly appreciate efforts to protect us from COVID 19, esp. wiping credit card with disinfectant after they used it.

On one hand they failed to tell me when I made the appointment that their oil change, tire rotation, inspection deal was going to take a minimum of 90 minutes; on the other hand, that inspection may have found the source of the cabin noise I hadnt even mentioned.

I would recommend R&L to anyone they are great! So helpful and got my truck fixed super quickly and are reasonable about there prices .

I took my truck to get an alinement. They were fast, on time professional. I just wish I had gotten the sheet that shows the adjustment they did. I just got told oh it was not bad. I would of rather had the sheet for reference to see the adjustment.
