Cute place, delicious ice cream! I had the Lavendar Honey Blueberry on their sugar cone hand-dipped in chocolate. Great together. My husband enjoyed the Vanilla Chicolate Chip. Lots of unusual flavors to choose from.

Walking in is a little confusing. On one side, booths full of people enjoying ice cream. On the other, antiques, handmade jewelry and other crafts by local artisans. Dont stop there! At the back of the store, you will find the cases full of delicious and interesting ice cream. I was paralyzed by indecision, but the very friendly worker offered samples that helped me snap out of it. In the end I ordered the hatch green chile and vanilla, because New Mexico. The sweet and heat was soooo good. I wish I lived close by so I could try all of the flavors!

So many choices its hard to choose! But choose I did and it was fantastic! The scoops are generous and the staff friendly. The shop is eclectic and has many air filters during covid. They are not open very late so Id suggest getting dessert before dinner!!!

Pretty Sweet Emporium is a delightful mix of a 50s diner and a gift store. It gives a sense of nostalgia when you walk in. The current interior design is very inviting. Homemade jewelry, art, and crafts adorn the store and make wonderful gifts.Now on to the good stuff! The homemade ice cream is heavenly. I went in to try the pumpkin pie flavor during holiday season. I was addicted after one bite. I also tried their waffle sundae. Everything was made from scratch!!! The waffle, the ice cream, and the whipped cream were incredible.They also serve coffee, hot chocolate, and hot tea. There is also a candy station.Definitely worth trying.

The whole place is a different experience. They have a variety of strange things to buy but perfect for gift shopping. The ice cream is to die for! Its pricy but you will love the homemade flavors. They even let you give suggestions for new flavors too! If your feeling a sweet tooth come here most definitely.

This place is a gem!!!

The first impression was that we were in a craft boutique, since the sizable showroom at the front of the shop had all manner of Christmasy nic-nacs and ornaments (expected in most shops in early November). Down the center of the shop, though, ran a tile walk-way that stretched back through the displays and past quaint rows of small 50s-style diner booths to expand majestically before a long ice cream display counter.There were 3 distinct regions of counter. Far to customer left was the name brand ice cream display with their deep, round tubs. Far to customer right was the pay-station and contraptions for making coffees, frozen drinks, and the assortment of other dessert curiosities.Central to the whole operation was the selection of house-made, small-batch ice creams. This is what Im always looking for in an ice cream shop. Pretty Sweet did not disappoint. Despite being out of half of their house-made flavors of the day when we arrived, there were enough remaining choices to be deeply intriguing. I tried a sample of an Orange Marmalade ice cream that was pretty much to die for, and ended up finishing off Razs Holiday Spiced Apple ice cream as well. Had we been in the area, Id have come back for Pumpkin Spice and Chocolate...No, who am I kidding? I passed up all these flavors in the first place because in the corner of the small-batch display was an unassuming tray of creamy white that exploded with Salted Licorice flavor in my mouth. Its a flavor Ive never even seen in the US before, but I fell in love with completely in Iceland. Even Raz, who doesnt actually like licorice much, loved this ice cream. Were we staying in the area longer, Id have come back at least daily for this singular flavor until there was no more. It also doesnt hurt that it was the smoothest, silkiest ice cream weve had this side of the Mississippi. Definitely visiting again next time were in Silver City!!
