This coffee shop does a great job with their Blended drinks Ive been very satisfied much better than anything else in town.Love the decor inside as well as the outside theyve done a very tasteful job.I love the chess boards in the back inside the shop. Nice touches to the seating areas outside.Limited on the food options but the baked goods are decent.I was surprised to see just one person working on Sunday which is typically a busy day.I guess theyre shortstaffed like so many other places across the country.I highly recommend this place to anybody looking for a really well-made coffee.

Not only does Tranquilbuzz have really good coffee but yummy food (quiche, baked goods & sweet stuff), several types of tea and a very friendly and accommodating staff. The atmosphere is also wonderful - you can sit inside or outside (my preference), where you can enjoy the vegetation and running water. The location is nice too - walking distance from everyplace in downtown Silver City. I love this place!

Aptly named, Tranquil Buzz Coffee house has yummy baked goods, the green chili quiche and chocolate chip coffee cake were delicious, and liquid beverages of devine offering! The atmosphere is a magical mix of fountains, wooden bridges, outside seating nooks and inside seating crannies. Easy walking distance from our room at The Palace. (Thanks Grace! Great suggestion!)

The name says it all! The space is a visual buzz with so many trinkets and art from floor to roof. The seating and wall outside are even a piece of art . I really appreciated the music with the tasty quiche and white mocha I had.

Absolutely adored this coffee place! I visited 3 times during my stay in Silver City. So cute, everywhere I looked was thought out and artsy. Just lovely!

Our daughter introduced us to this coffee house while we were visiting. We would definitely return. This little gem is a great place to sit and chat with friends. The outdoor seating is so calm and comforting.I could sit here with some coffee and read a good book.

This coffee shop is by far my favorite. Not only is the coffee very incredible, but the staff is super awesome and the atmosphere is so great. Theres so many details in their coffee shop. All the little trinkets and books and posters and art is just so awesome. You feel so great and relaxed being there.

Great place, great setting, fantastic coffee. Really enjoyed just setting around and looking at the photo albums and articles. Little to wet to sit outside but the patio looked great. I would most definitely stop again.

First things first- the photo shown is no longer the Tranquil Buzz. It has relocated down a block to the corner of Texas and Arizona. Its new location is even more magical ( if you can believe it) than its former. Coffee is awesome. Staff is awesome. Ambience of the location is fantastic. Not just a coffee shop, an experience. You must feel it to understand it. Love lives there!!❤😊☕

Super happy with this place every time. So far, my favorite things are the iced Gila mint tea and the quiche with roasted squash on the side. Theres a great patio and they practice good COVID-19 precautions.

I have always loved real coffee houses, and this is the best I have been to. Owner is a long time musician, too. He ALWAYS seems to book really talented and creative musicians. Quite a treasure. Its a great hangout. Poetry, games. When covid doesnt rule, at least. Homemade pastries, great mellow coffee. Also has great quiche, etc.

We went here on the recommendation from the owner of the Silver City bookstore. This is an excellent coffee house with a wonderful atmosphere. Its clear that the place has strong local ties and supports artists and musicians.We had some of the best dirty chais weve had. The green chile quiche and onion and mushroom quiche we ordered had a perfectly crumbed crust and had an excellent smooth texture and deviously savory flavor. The butternut squash side was a great bonus!Well stop by next time were in Silver City.

This place is a true wonder of Silver City. The complete remodeling is now finished with all the natural woodwork done by Dale the owner. Hes never seen a log that couldnt be turned into a work of art. The place is so alive with all of his trippy little touches! And the final touches on the outside pond area create a beautiful blend between interior and exterior spaces, it really flows. All in all a great place to hang out and enjoy. Bravo!

We visited at a busy time when only 1 barista was working. We waited 20 minutes and it was WORTH IT. Best cup of coffee (from Oaxaca) Ive had in a long time, and she added the perfect amount of oat milk. You really cant beat the atmosphere in this place. The outdoor area has water features, lots of wood, swing seating as well as tables. Great overall experience - we look forward to returning.

There are great coffee houses and then theres the best. Well if you dont drink coffee, try there Dirty Chia Tea. OMG. Scone, cinnamon roll wait. Go straight for the quiche. The best Ive ever have had in my 63 of great life. Friendliest people you ever want to meet. All I can say is if youre in Silver City, NM or traveling thru you need to stop by there.

Decent coffee, but overpriced relative to serving size. I dont do little bitty cups of Joe. Save your $$ and invest in a good coffeemaker.

The most inviting & enticing coffee shop Ive ever been. So full of colorful, creative ambiance, your eyes cant help but wander every inch of this large, cozy place full of poetic spirit & local artisans offerings. Locals gather to share tales in a Covid safe environment and anyone who ventures here will surely feel right at home and enjoy the freshly made beverages & treats.

Love this place! The new water features outside are wonderful, and the inside is so eclectic and fun! Good hot coco (in a giant mug, if you order the 20oz one!) and tasty quiches (we had a bacon one and a mushroom/onion one)! Chatted with the owners a bit and they were so nice! Can’t wait until they can have live performances again post Covid!

A charming shop with an eclectic collection of this and that placed so the eye may continually wander indoors, and listen to the peaceful water in the outdoor pond while noticing all the lovely hand-made wood tables, chairs and decorative embellishments created on site. Visited three times within a few days and enjoyed the ambiance. Great coffee and food and wonderful staff as well. I will return!

I honestly don’t see how anyone could give this sweet place a bad rating. It’s absolutely a hidden gem and I can’t say enough good things about it. The staff is so friendly, the atmosphere is beautiful and the coffee is amazing. The chai lattes are to DIE for too.I was able to get some work done with their Free WiFi and they even have live music from local musicians. I never wanted to leave 🥰Definitely a must stop if you’re in the area and need a good cup of coffee and some love.

Our cappuccino was bland and foamless, the hot mocha was not flavorful either. The place looks neat, very Silver City-eske but low quality espresso drinks. Their coffee (O drink it black) is also average to good.

Hahaha....Marley. Only Dale will understand.My wife and I stayed at a good friends incredible art house for a night and asked her about the coffeehouse scene for our next morning caffeine addiction. She mentioned several places, however she said that Tranquil Buzz was her favorite.Flash forward to the next morning.....we found a nice shade parking spot for our truck and our Rottweiler Raji and proceeded into Tranquility Buzz base. The few patrons already there at 7:30am were old-school hippies like myself and we immediately felt at home. We sat for a minute outside on one of the few tiny tables overlooking the street and spoke with a local poet who was hanging out with his latte.After a few encouraging words we walked inside and up to the counter, past a half-dozen aged hippies sparking in conversation. Dale, the owner, was manning the counter and we ordered two 16 oz. breve lattes and spun around to watch the crowd.Dale asked us the usual how are you and where are you headed questions as he seemlessly created our two amazing caffeine specialties. We exchanged info and took our drinks back outside to enjoy the early morning sun. Wonderful taste. Super nice coffee. Dale was a magician we quickly discovered and had to go back inside and speak with him.Dale was an enthusiastic host, giving us the history of the shop in a nutshell. I love places like this and have often though of opening my own. And Dale and I were instant blood brothers.If you go to Silver City, which you should right away before it becomes the next Aspen or Santa Fe, make sure you stop here for a taste of a coffee oasis. Say hi to Dale for us and remind him that we asked a lot of questions, then came back in for a second round and a t-shirt. I dont know if he will remember us, however I will remember him. Cool people make the world go round in my book. How cool are you?

Went here 4 times for coffee. Each time was a great experience. I ordered 2 ice coffees and a 2 ice mochas. They have frozen coffee ice cubes that really helped preserve the coffee taste for the duration of the drink.The coffee house is nicely done and has a private outdoor patio in the back that I would have liked to enjoy had I the time.GF ordered a latte for each of our visits she enjoyed them. This became our coffee house of choice for Silver City.Wed definitely return here again if were in the area.

I’m so glad independent coffee houses exist and this one is a gem! The staff are genuinely friendly, maybe it’s the sunshine but definitely the coffee!! You can be in your own world enjoying your java or get into a friendly conversation with one of the many friendly patrons, it’s up to you! Notice the word friendly is used several times! Dog friendly too!

The Tranquil Buzz Coffee shop is cozy with plenty of soft chairs to curl up on. The inside is eclecticly decorated with books, high desert artifacts, photographs and locally made arts. Several tea and coffee drinks to choose from and the prices are consistent with other shops ($4 for 12 oz. Latte).

My all-time favorite coffeehouse. Great drinks, friendly staff. Meeting the patrons of the Buzz made me fall in love with this town. Love everything about this place!

Great little coffee shop and the ambiance is exactly what youd expect in downtown Silver City! Owner is super friendly and turns out we both know his coffee distributor... Supplies him with coffee and supplies our band program with a great coffee fundraiser each year!

Great feel in this coffee house with a nice variety of great tasting drinks. The interior is very creatively decorated and it might be worth going in just to see it.

Out of all the coffee shops ive been to, Tranquil Buzz stands out! This is a special space, easy to pop in to or stay for a while. Great drip coffee, I loved the Buzz Blend. They have a good selection of tea, and some specialty drink options. The shop is well cared for, with beautiful indoor and outdoor space. The owner, baristas, and customers are so pleasant. There is a welcoming, gentle energy in the shop!
