New owner and management! Amazing service. A huge change from what was here before. It was worse than the DMV now it’s amazing customer service! I wish every place were like this. The owner goes the extra mile and is actually human in his interaction. Good vibes and good service. Happy to come here and do my business. The people before we sooo awful. Look at the dates of reviews for this place. Swaiz was my store manager and has helped me many times without hassle and extra help. I did inquire about poor reviews and he had detailed explanations as to why which made sense.

This UPS store received the lowest score in this area for a reason. Dont be surprised by the terrible customer service and greediness there. Please avoid this bad apple by all means.I went there to return an Amazon package which does not require a box or label. The guy behind the counter (Swaiz should be his name) kept my Amazon return package for hostage and refused to return the package to me after I told him I would like to cancel the shipping. He insisted on me paying $2 taping fee or purchasing a whole tape which is overly priced at $7.99. Otherwise, he will just forfeit the package which is still my personal and private property. Also, he kept telling me that he tried to be polite which sounds to me as a personal threat.The UPS store is a local business I wish to support as a community member, but this store does not belong to the community. It is rude, arrogant, and greedy.

To put it simply, the dude was incredibly rude, arrogant, and started yelling at me. This is the worst UPS store I have ever been. I asked for his name, he claimed to be the owner and proceeded to ignore me. When I took a photo for evidence, he threatened to call the police kn me. This happened 3 months ago and I still can’t believe how the employee was so full of himself and showed no hesitation in insulting me, and threatening to call the police which leads me to believe that he has done this numerous times. I personally have not returned to the store ever since even after getting cooperate got involved because I was genuinely threatened but that guy. Horrible service, just go to the nearest fed ex. The manager was supportive in resolving the issue after I called corporate and am Thankful for that. Hope the employee got fired but I did mot receive any update from the manager.

I visited the UPS store today. Both employees I came in contact with were very helpful. Swaiz helped me ship a package to Arizona. When I bulked at the price he personally cut the box to a smaller size and re-taped the package for shipping. This resulted in a shipping price that was less than half of the original quote. Great customer service!

The guy (manager) very knowledgeable for sure, on how to get your money and rip you off. Also, since he is the owner of the store or acts as such, he will completely make you pay for anything and everything extra even if not needed. Avoid this store at all costs or the owner wanna-be will rip you off completely. If you like to over pay for any shipping and other services then be his guest. I recommend avoiding this place.

This store is ran by his owner. You won’t find UPS standard customer service in it. If you want to give your business to this store, expect to be treated like such - however the owner feels that day - so, I recommend find a different UPS store.

Rude costumer service from the door he told me tapping package will cost you 10 dollars, the funny thing I had the same issue with UPS in downtown silver spring before 15 minutes . I told him wait until I asked you even his coworker looked at him surprised. So they play with numbers. Sending package from this location will f up your day.

Do not use this location. Dreadful customer service. They would not accept my valid free 5 lb shredding services coupon. The manager said they are not running a charity. They need to make money. BTW, I was shredding 10 lb of paper. Its not like they werent going to be making money. Why offer online UPS coupons if the stores are not going to accept them? Avoid this location.

I am so impressed with the staff at this UPS store. I will never bring my packages anywhere else! I had a package that wasn’t scanned yet and Swaiz called the local laurel branch to find it and have it scanned! I was so anxious and he went above and beyond to help me. Thank you!! Terrible customer service experience. The cashier was on FaceTime with a friend the entire of time. He sighed loudly with regret when it was time to service my friend and I. He was incredibly condescending to my friend who had their own drop off as well. He definitely needs to work on his customer service or find another job! It will cost this place $$$!

We had a very poor experience with the older man (the manager). We called the corporate office to express our concerns and we will not return to this store. The office supplies were overly expensive. The staff was rude when we asked questions. And they have potentially fraudulent tax practices.First, we were surprised at how expensive just a few items were. Over $21 for a medium box, a small packing tape, and a small bubble wrap. This cost more than the shipping.Second, he rang up two items for more than the price tag as Misc Non-Taxable. When he gave us the itemized receipt, we asked why he charged more than the price tag and didnt charge tax for them. He said he included the tax in the price. He then became defensive and said Ive been doing this for 16 years. I dont make any mistakes.Third, he didnt give us the shipping receipt (the one with the tracking number). Luckily, we were able to take a picture of the shipping label before leaving.Not to mention he was sneezing, repeatedly touching his face and mask, and going back and forth from eating and servicing customers without washing or sanitizing his hands.This store is a poor representation of the UPS corporation and I hope the corporate office will reconsider allowing this location to be a franchisee.

I was at the store today to return an item I purchased from Amazon. I thought it was a scan label as opposed to a label I had to print. The sales associate Ali, stated that he could print the label. I emailed it to him and after he printed the label he told me it would be $3.80. I explained I did not want the label because I had no idea it was that expensive. Amazon will mail you a label for $1. He picked up my item and refused to give it back to me until I paid the $3.80. To avoid a scene, I paid for the label, but I have never experienced anything like this. He held my Amazon item hostage and laughed about it. I have been trying to support local businesses, but this is one that I wouldnt mind seeing out of business.

If I could leave less than one star I would. But after reading the other reviews I wish I would have read them first. This place is a joke.Basically I was here trying to ship 3 boxes(all electronics) starting with my smallest iPhone box. They told me it would be $19.99 and that it would get there well after Thanksgiving “the 31st of November” to coherence me into paying more for expedited shipping.I immediately told them no and that I just shipped a vinyl to Australia for less and that I would leave. He immediately weighted out my other package and told told me “he could ship everything now for $10”.I asked him what changed and why it was at a normally price all of a sudden - no response was given.Also, I shipped my items on the 20th they’re set to arrive on the 24th.If you read reviews this is your sign do not go here, go up the street to USPS it’s cheaper and they won’t overcharge you.

I went here a couple days ago to return some Amazon items. This guy has always been great to me. I see a couple bad reviews on here and all I can say is they must’ve just had a really bad day. This guy is especially great with Amazon items because he doesn’t charge you to repackage them.He’ll take the items and the return label and send you on your way without even having to wait. I’ve been to a couple other UPS stores where they charge you like $10 just to throw the stuff in a box.This is a family run business and you can tell he treats the entire community as a member of his own family.

The clerk tampered with my package and tried to steal the $500 item I was returning to Walmart. Luckily I was proactive and recovered my item.Full story: I was return shipping a $500 Xbox Series X to Walmart. I mistakenly brought it to UPS instead of USPS, but the clerk was kind enough to offer to let me leave it with them and have the USPS guy pick it up when he makes his rounds.When I got home, I became nervous about the fact that I didnt receive a receipt or anything. I kept checking the tracking number, and the package was never scanned into the USPS system.After two days, I went back to the store to find out if my package had been picked up by USPS. I found my box was still exactly where I had left it. However, after picking it up, I realized it was empty. The clerk had opened my package, removed my $500 Xbox Series X, and tried to mail an empty box to Walmart!They got the district manager involved. After a few hours, he called me and told me that he recovered it from the guy who stole it. The whole thing was very fishy.

DONT GO HERE! THEY WILL UPCHARGE YOU. I upgraded a SurePost package to UPS Ground from the app to pickup from this store. I paid $3.50 for each of my packages. I have done this many times with no additional charge. When I went to pickup my packages, the manager held my packages hostage and said I owed $10 per package. Again, I never have paid a $10 arbitrary fee to pickup a package at an access point. I ended up paying and will never use this store again for any of my shipping needs. UPS customer support told me this is an individual store decision. Another customer came up to me in the parking lot and told me the manager quoted one price over the phone and then increased the charge when he was in the store. That customer also went elsewhere. Vote with you wallet, save some money, and dont use this store

Returned a package to amazon with fully paid shipping and guy charged me $2 to just tape the box shut (one strip of tape) and when I said I had never seen that before at other stores he got pretty rude. When I walked in he was arguing with the woman in front of me about the same thing (I didn’t hear the tape part as I walked in). I then left pretty frustrated and realized he never gave me a receipt, I returned to ask for it and he claimed he handed me it - I’m 100% sure he didn’t - he said I probabilities left it and he tore it up - which would be fair if he had actually handed me it and I hadn’t taken it (I always do and he didn’t!).Avoid this store!- this isn’t the younger guy he is awesome, I’m talking about the older man who says he is the manager.

Today I visited this UPS Store and had a terrible experience with your employee at this site. I always send packages with you guys and do the measuring and weighing at home to receive online shipping quotes. I’ve never had an issue with the younger guy that works there, he knows how to measure but this is the second time that the older guy has tried to overcharge me, he claims to be the manager, what a joke, this guy has horrible customer service and doesn’t know how to use a measuring tape! This is the second time he has given me a quote that was more than $10 over, today I had him measure the box in front of me after I told him his price was not right! I showed him how he was off and he redid the measurements into his system and apologized after swearing he was not making any mistakes. During my payment transaction he went and helped another customer at the register on the other side of the counter. My receipt printed out and he was still at the other register, due to the Covid issue I always like to get in and out ASAP so I grabbed my own receipt and proceeded to walk out. He sternly got my attention and I turned around, he asked me to please give him the receipt back, I was surprised as I didn’t know what he needed it for but I went ahead and gave it to him. He told me that I was not allowed to take the receipt, that he had to give it to me, he folded it in half and told me where tracking # was located. I asked him what was the point of that, wether I grab the receipt of he gives it to me and that I know where the tracking # is located. I walked out and told him that he needs to learn how to measure and that I wonder how many customers he has ripped off by overcharging! We called by phone to get his name and he would not provide us with it, he was very rude and was firm that he wouldn’t give up his name even though he’s the manager, WOW!!! He said that if we want his name we have to come to the store, this is not how you run a business and the issue definitely needs to get addressed with this “manager” who also doesn’t know how to wear a mask as he didn’t have his nose covered at all, only his mouth! I only left one star because i cant give less, the ups store is so absurd and ridiculous! I print out TWO piece of letter size paper and they charge me for 5 DOLLARS! Its insane! I wont be charged more than 50 cents in any other place such as fedex or usps! The owner DIDNOT even tell me before he print out my stuff! It is a nightmare because of the guy who claims to own the store. Unfortunately the store, the UPS store, may be franchised to this guy who is a real crook and so unprofessional. Yes, Unprofessional, Clueless, Rude, Dishonest, Unhelpful, Indifferent, he is.In a nutshell, police came to mediate and settle the argument created because of this rude and dishonest guy, who just have the worst human behavior; let alone to be in a customer service area. What happened is a nightmare for me. He just took my USB Drive and put it in his pocket refusing to give it back to me and asked me to pay the amount of the number of prints he mistakenly printed.I came to print for a utility bill in my flash USB drive. I want to use a computer that he told me I would pay 3 dollar per minute - that is just for using it, - absurd. And so expensive printing price. I agreed and instead of me using the computer, he took my USB drive and was checking all my documents without my will and printed all pages while I was verbally telling him which one to print (he told me that I could not see my files on the computer, he was reading all my docs and asked me to select one,- uncivilized manner). I was in rush and have to do what it takes to print those documents. But he printed so many pages that I did not want and asked me to pay for everything. And I told him, I don’t need all but I will pay for the pages, I am looking to have. He then aggressively started to engage me in argument while looking to fight and again while seizing my USB drive. During this time a lot of customers came and left the place. He is so arrogant to see that but I’m furious with what he was doing.At last the police came, I called the police, and the police told me pay and deal the matter with the UPS Store and they brought the USB drive back to me. In a nutshell, worst service ever, the guy who was working should not be in any service giving place, so rude, very unprofessional; and thinks he owns the clients, never listens but answers in a very rude manner to customers.I came to print and a chaos is what happened. I wish there was a ZERO or less staring.Will NEVER EVER use the UPS Store again! Will not leave it this way....will take it all the way to the very top.

My wife went to return a Amazon return. The owner charged for the printout and envelope $11.50. The cost of the shirt she got was $12. My wife refused and the owner said it’s too late and made her pay the $11.50. The owner is very unethical. Avoid this store at all costs!

The employee/owner at the store is just looking for ways to nickel and dime you, and takes advantage of you given the fact that once youre there avoiding his outrageous costs will cause big inconvenience. I show up to return a package with a prepaid shipping label and he refuses to print it for me. He has a rental computer for which he charges $3.00 just to use it for 10 min, then charges me for the printout, and finally for the packaging supposedly because for ground a special package is needed. After all this mess I already had a $20 bill. Great way to nickel and dime you. Never again doing business with this dishonest and unethical store

I am absolutely baffled by the level of customer service I received from this location. I went in two days ago to try and return some items I had purchased on Amazon. When I walked in, the guy at the desk (the owner I assume) was arguing on the phone with someone about how his name was involved in something. It was quite strange, but I had to wait for him to finish his phone conversation to help me. After he hung up, he asked me how he could help me, and I told him I needed to return something via Amazon. He quickly explained to me that the QR code scanner wasnt working and made sure to specify that it was an Amazon thing and not just a problem at this specific store. I said okay thank you and left, planning to come back the next day.Yesterday, around 4 pm or so, I called the store because I wanted to make sure the QR code scanner was working before I drove there. I called 5+ times with no answer, and the voicemail box was full, so I couldnt have left a message even if I wanted to. I decided to try calling the next closest store. They answered on first ring. I asked them if their QR code scanner was working today, since it hadnt been yesterday. They told me that they had not had that issue. So therefore, I have come to the conclusion that this guy lied to me and tried to pass blame on to Amazon. I would have driven to the other store that same day without any issue had I known that it wasnt a worldwide issue.Will not be returning and I suggest others stay far away lol

Don’t ship anything of value at this store. They have shady practices. If you have a feeling that you’re being over charged, call UPS corporate office to confirm. I called about another issue and was informed that we were over charged. They charged us double the normal rate. Not only that, they ring you up incorrectly so that it doesn’t link with the UPS system. Keep your receipts and call to verify (if you have to ship at this location). There is another location owned by the same owner and I wouldn’t go there either. We had the worst experience and the manager is exceptionally rude to paying customers.

This UPS was closed by 6:50 pm with the lights completely shut and shuttered even though the “extended” hours listed on the website and at the storefront said that they close at 7:00 pm. This is completely unprofessional and unreliable. This UPS is also located in the most inaccessible location that could possibly exist. DO NOT waste your time coming here.

The handful of times that I have been to this location, Ive only had to drop off packages to be sent out. One time I had to return some college text books and I accidentally brought a USPS package here, there is USPS right across the street but they offered to take it there for me which was so nice! Ive had great customer service, another time I was there they really took their time to help me out when I incorrectly packaged two return items. I will continue to drop off my packages here.

THE UPS STORE #5347I am sitting in the parking lot writing this interview because I could not allow a moment to pass before acknowledging the amazing customer service I received just minutes ago at this UPS Store.Mr. Ali at the UPS Store on Colesville Rd in Silver Spring is awesome!!Normally, I never go in any business any time near closing. However, I ran into the UPS store at the very last minute (less than 10 minutes before closing), and Mr. Ali had the doors wide open. He could have easily told me that it was too late (which I respectfully understand), but instead he invited me in with a warm smile! Not only did he assist me but he patiently yet efficiently assisted two other last minute customers. Not once did I feel rushed or unwelcomed.Mr. Ali exhibited kindness and a warmth that is greatly needed by us all! Thank you so much Mr. Ali!!! You will definitely be seeing me again!

I had a wonderful experience and the customer service was first rate. Everyone I encountered was courteous and helpful. Swaiz went out of his way to help me with all of my questions regarding shipping and insurance on an important package I was shipping to my son. I can’t stress enough the level of dishonest behavior I experience at this store. I went to get a document notarized. I failed to ask the price on the service, which was my fault. After, It was done he knew I intended to mail the document. He first informed me it would be 50 dollars, when I stated I would got to USPS, he told me he was also a USPS retailer and that mailing the document via a USPS priority envelope would be 27.50. I explained I knew the price for that flat rate envelope was 7.50 and he argued with me telling me that USPS had changed their rates and that I would have to pay that amount (27.50) at post office and that I would be sorry. He reiterated that USPS charges different fees depending to where you are mailing- even when the envelope clearly states flat rate. When I refused to mail with them and told him I rather take my chances with USPS, he told me the notary service I received was 20 dollars. He literally just stamped the one page document and did nothing else. He also said that he could only accept cash for notary services and not credit card. He did not give me a receipt. I went to USPS and I was right, the priority envelope cost me to mail 7.50. In sum, Don’t go to this store unless you want to be lied to and taken advantage of!

Online says its open, store hours on door say it should be open, and an enormous sign saying Open for you is in the window. But its closed, everything inside is covered with security gates, and another vendor in the strip mall says the guy running this location rarely comes in. Waited 10 minutes in case he decided to return. Just go to a different location.

After reading the many negative reviews, I thought I should relay my positive experience. I live within walking distance of this store, and primarily drop off packages there that I have prepared myself. I have always receive courteous service, and have consistently been charged appropriate shipping costs. Ive never been ripped off. So at least for that type of service, I highly recommend this store.

In line waiting here and its been over 10 minutes. Guy working in front does not smile or acknowledge customers. He clearly does not know what hes doing. He had to call someone on the phone to walk him through the return process. On a second note, I showed him a return that happened 4 months ago at the store. I asked him if he has records of this and provided him a tracking number. He said they dont have records dating that far back. Theres currently 4 people in line. Do not go to this store.

DO NOT ship from this store - at the other store owned by the same owner, they had a new hire who didnt ask me if I want to insure my package (I thought it was automatically insured) and the package WAS LOST - FOR 3 MONTHS and counting. The store manager kept telling me hell email / call me but NEVER DID. I had to go out to buy a replacement laptop and am currently OUT OF A $1600 laptop! I did some research and apparently, UPS only insures for $100 as a default. Im going to let as many people know about this as possible including other rating sites and Better Business Bureau (apparently, they dont belong to the BBB), small claim court until I get my laptop back or reimbursed. Again, DO NOT SHIP from this store or the area UPS store since they are all owned by the same owner.

The store manager is dishonest, overcharges, and has a terrible service attitude. While I was in line the four clients ahead of me all had problems with the store manager raising prices, adding charges, and giving a difficult attitude overall. When it was my turn he quoted $180 to send a small package to Europe. I asked if he had cheaper options. He searched (or pretended to search on his phone) and said he searched USPS and dhl and no one delivers for less than $150, so $150 was the best price he could give me. I didnt believe him and went to USPS one block away. They delivered that same package priority mail for $36.

UPS informed me that my package has been left at this store for pickup on a Friday and I went on a Monday to collect it and was told by Ali that the package had been sent back to the warehouse because it had been at his store for 7 days. When I tried to inform him that was unlikely as I just received the notice..he insisted that he could not help and had me call Customer service. Customer service insisted that the package was in his store and he was still adamant to look for it saying when it arrived there was a return label on it. After about 30 mins of back and forth he finally went to the back and found it in less than 2 mins and just handed it to me with no apology...there was no return label on the package. Thoroughly displeased with the service here and will not be using this store in the future.

When I got charged $8 for a relatively small box, I didnt think too much of it. Then the person doing some simple photocopies for me printed one sheet in landscape format, cropping a lot of text out (so I asked him to redo it).Finally, I got passport pictures taken ($20 for a set of 2). But the guy taking the picture didnt even hold the camera straight, not to mention that the image background came out somewhat dark, there was a noticeable white edge on both sides and you could somewhat tell that the picture was taken at an angle.I couldnt get a refund, so I had to go get another set of photos, somewhere else.I will NOT be doing business at this UPS location again.

On two occasions Ive routed packages to this store for pickup. The first time they sent the package back to the shipment center, then charged me $10 to have it redelivered. The second time they completely lost my package. Its not surprising because they have packages haphazardly laying around and the customer service is unorganized. Fool me once... Anyway, you should not trust your packages with this location.

If I could give 1/2 a star, I would.The worst.I rented a box when my other mail box location, one we had for approx 10 years was torn down to make way for development.I decided to go with UPS again, thinking that UPS standards are high and what could go wrong!Hundreds of $$$ later I realize that it was a costly mistake to decide to do business with this location. Letterhead alone is going to cost hundreds, not to mention that all entities within the state of MD will need to be notified of the new address.What a joke!

The store owner is rude, indifferent (except to chisel a few $$ more). Prepare to be rebuffed if you need assistance. Let me explain:I am 69 yrs old, handicapped and can walk only with great difficulty. I backed up my car in the handicapped parking space located a few feet away in front of the storefront. I had a large, unwieldy box and asked the owner/mgr for assistance to bring in the box for shipping.He said that he could not help because of liability issues. To remind you, I was parked few feet from doorway and I am handicapped. I had to remove my wheelchair from the car and attempted to load the box onto the seat to just wheel it in. This didnt work and the box fell to the ground. A kind lady passing by witnessed my plight and helped me bring the box in. The owner was standing just inside the doorway observing and being not liable for anything. At the counter I asked for stronger packing tape to re-enforce the tape already on the box. He did take the 20 seconds or so to tape then demanded $2.00 for the service (usps routinely does this free of charge.) I pulled out my credit card to pay but he said that he charges a minimum of $5.00 to use a credit card. I will leave this feedback here.He was within his rights to be so resistant to assist but ask yourself, is this the kind of person that I want to do business with?

About a week ago i went into this UPS store to JUST make copies of my birth certificate because i needed it in order to renew my passport. I had an appointment at the postal office later that same day, but the owner told me that he could renew my passport for me then and there. He claimed that he had done this many times, and that he would be saving us a lot of time and headache. I was hesitant to do it there at first, but he was very persistent and eventually convinced me. I handed him all my documents and he proceeded to stamp and envelope it. Yesterday i received a letter from the National Passport Agency saying that they couldn’t accept my request because it wasn’t sent through an authorized facility. I do believe that he was telling the truth that you can renew your passport at a UPS facility, however my last passport was issued when i was a minor, and the process to renew it as an adult is different than it would have been if my previous passport was issued when i was 18+ (which is something i had to learn the hard way). I was beyond pissed. I even spent a lot of money hoping to expedite my passport. He ASSURED me many times when i was there that there wasn’t going to be an issue. I went to confront him about his mistake and get my money back, or at least the amount it would cost me to fix this mistake, but he refused to see his fault in this. PRETENDING TO BE ABLE TO PROVIDE A SERVICE FOR MONETARY GAIN IS CALLED FRUAD. I even took the steps to call the passport agency at the store so he could understand what he did wrong. He still refused to understand. He then said that i should call the agency and have them send the prepaid expedited envelope to him, instead of my house, so he could “refund” me for it. That would only have cause me more burden because i would’ve had to buy a prepaid envelope AGAIN at another facility, along with the processing fee and another expedited envelope to get it there. He also refused to talk to me/ignored me for quite a while, and got into a yelling match with my father. I feel so disgusted and cheated. Definitely won’t be going there again.

The manager refused to accept my UPS drop off because I bought tape from cvs instead of his store. I could not believe how rude and unfair he was. As part of a franchise agreement he is supposed to accept my drop off and he refused over something so outrageous. I had to go to the other location in silver spring and they were much better. The notary at this store notarized 3 signatures for me plus one duplicate of each of the 3 signatures. He then told me the charge was $48. However, I am an attorney and also a notary. Maryland law limits notary charges to $4 per signature and $1 per signature on a duplicate. So, the legal limit on this service in my case was $15. He attempted to cheat me out of $33 additional dollars. I refused to pay him. BUYER BEWARE WHEN YOU GO INTO THIS STORE.

Please dont ever go to notarize any documents to this place. The guy is a scammer. He asked for $20 cash to notarize one page and refused to provide with the receipt. When I insisted that I need the receipt, he took back the document that he notarized, destroyed it and gave me back my money. Pure shame seriously. I passed by to notarize a document. I was told the gentleman who does that went to the bank next door. If I am BOA member I can either get it done there or tell the guy you are waiting. I went there and the BOA guy was also not available. I saw the UPS guy and went back to UPS store. I waited for him another 45 minutes but he never came back. His colleague tried calling him but he didnt answer. I again went to the bank and he left from there too.In what kind of job you can leave for hours without telling anyone to run errands? I need to find such job too. Avoid UPS go Fedex.

Very unprofessional guy I encountered today, he was also doing his job too slow that two ppl who were before me on the line had to leave coz they couldn’t even wait any longer, I gave him a chance (I regret it now) and the computer they have there to print stuff off of ppls email is very slow and the guy charged me extra 4 dollars because of 2 extra papers that were a regular black ink prints. All in all I paid $9 to print 6 pages of regular paper with black ink... I was going to be late for an interview so no options:(

I took a preprinted shipping label and small box to this UPS store. They charged me $1 for a 10 piece of tape to tape the box shut. Next time I will go to FedEx--they have much better service. On an unrelated note, remember that UPS does not do ANY residential deliveries on the weekend. Another big reason I always try to go to FedEx.

All indications, including Google, was the store would be open until 7pm. I arrived at the store at 3:30 to learn, from a note on the door, that it closed at 3pm because of the holidays.

The manager claimed I authorized it and would not refund me--also tried to push me into paying more for a service I did not want, and seemed angry when I refused to pay for it. Do NOT print here - total ripoff. I stopped in to print 18 pages. I told the guy behind the counter I need to print from a thumb drive.He told me that itd cost me $3.00 to use the computer for 3 minutes. The printer defaults to color (hustle/scam #1). The worst experience I have EVER had. I had a package sent here, and when I went to pick it up, ALI said I would have to pay $30 to get the package. The UPS store in Chicago that sent the package had agreed to cover the charges, and I even got them on the phone, but ALI refused to take a credit card payment either in person or over the phone, and insisted on cash only!! The UPS store in Chicago was so appalled that they demanded to speak to a manager, and ALI said I dont know why we have this policy, I just work here, Im not the manager or the owner. When the Chicago store asked where the manager was, he said I dont know, hes out of the country. I was so angry that I decided to just walk out and leave the box behind. My husband called the store a few minutes later and asked to speak to the manager; ALI answered and identified himself as the manager!!! He had lied to the other UPS store. After my husband threatened to call the police and expose this stores extortion, ALI agreed to take a credit card payment by phone from the UPS store in Chicago (who, Ive learned, has also decided to report this store to the district office). I left with my package. But I will NEVER go back. As I was leaving I saw another man being charged $22 to send a very small box, and he wasnt even given a tracking number or a date when the package would arrive (he had to ask for both, and the tracking # was handwritten for him on the receipt). SO unprofessional I still cant believe it!

The owner is a crook. He illegally tacks on arbitrary fees for packages that have already been shipped without informing customers ahead of time or posting the charges in the store. At the suggestion of the clerk where I shipped a package from, (because of thefts in my neighborhood) I had a package shipped to this store instead of to my apartment. I paid $5 extra at the time of the shipment for this service. When I came to pick up the parcel, he charge me $15 more for picking up the package there. Since the extra charge was not listed on the shipping documents and there is nothing in the store that informs customers of this extra charge, the extra charge was ILLEGAL! He wanted to charge me $5 more to send a package than another UPS Store charged for the same package. Avoid this store. Avoid UPS. FedEx Office stores are all company-owned, so this sort of garbage shouldnt happen there.

They charged me $10 to put my cable box in a box to ship back to my provider. The label was provided free of charge by my provider. WHAT THE HELL IS THE $10 for?Since he charged me so much, I wanted to see him put it in a box an ship it off and the clerk got an attitude about it? I wanted to see what I spent $10 on.
